In order to get listed on the transplant recipient waiting list, I need to have committed volunteers standing by who are willing to take on the role of a caregiver. In this video, I explain what that is, and how you can contact me if you or someone you know is interested in helping me out.

My name is Stephen Sviatko, I was diagnosed with ESRD (End State Renal Disease) in April and relegated to a life of kidney dialysis, unless I get a kidney transplant. I was fired from my job when I went into the hospital. It was not legal for my employer to do that, and an investigation is currently pending. I am unemployed and experiencing severe financial hardship as a result of my illness. Furthermore, when I was hospitalized, I didn't have medical insurance and now I owe $78,000 to the Mayo clinic for the 3 weeks of care I received in April.
