While accepting the prestigious award, Ariana Grande got emotional talking about the whirlwind year 2018 has been. During her acceptance speech for the prestigious Woman of the Year award, the "thank u, next" singer, 25, got emotional when talking about her whirlwind year, which included critically-acclaimed music releases, a public breakup with fiancé Pete Davidson and the death of ex-boyfriend Mac Miller from a drug overdose just months after they ended their two-year relationship. “I want to say that I find it interesting that this has been one of the best years of my career and the worst of my life,” she said while on stage accepting the honor. “I’m not saying that for sympathy, I’m just saying that because I think a lot of people would look at someone in my position right now…and think, ‘She’s really got her (expletive) together,’ Ya know? Like, ‘She’s really on it.’ Like, ‘She’s got it all.’ " Best Celebrity Moments http://bit.ly/2Bc56C3 For more on this story: https://bit.ly/2zQcZwX Do you like what you see? Dog reunites with family after missing for 2 years

01:59
A Georgia couple whose dog had been missing for two years is reunited with their best friend right before Thanksgiving. Kelly Thomas and Ted Kupferman live in a monument to Christmas, but this year, they will cherish Thanksgiving. "These are the times we think of people who can't be with us … or animals that can't be with us," Kupferman said. Years ago, the couple rescued their dog named Bear. Two years ago, Bear ran away. Ted said he ran away after being scared in a car accident. "I rear-ended somebody and the accident startled Bear, and he ran across 120 and into the woods," he said. "I spent 12 hours that day searching his name, combing the area, finding absolutely nothing and that's how I lost him" They knew they would find him someday but they didn't know how. Meanwhile, two ladies who live in Marietta were trying to catch a dog that had taken up residence in an auto parts yard. They could see his paw prints and would feed him two times a day but for a year, they could never catch him. This past Sunday, with help from several rescue groups, they rescued Bear. Then, they found a microchip listing his owners. A day later, the family reunited. "I'm still crying over it … This was not just a dog … this was my best friend; this was my child," Kupferman said. Now Bear is home. Home for Christmas. Home to make every holiday ever more special. ******************************************************************** Want even more?! Mom hears son's donated heart beat in little girl

01:47
After tragedy struck, a mother was able to save lives by donating her son's organs. Two years later, she came face to face with the little girl who received his heart. She was given a gift that brought her to tears. *********************************************************************************************************************************************** Want even more heartwarming stories?! Subscribe to Humankind's YouTube channel: http://bit.ly/1IrNzUN Like Humankind on Facebook: http://bit.ly/fbhkvids *********************************************************************************************************************************************** When you see 4-year-old Jordan running through the lobby of the Heart Center at Phoenix Children’s Hospital you would be impressed with the amount of energy the little girl has, considering she’s only two years removed from a heart transplant. The first few years of Jordan’s life were filled with severe health issues. “She had seizures. She had a brain bleed. She had a stomach bleed; a stroke. She had brain surgery -- so many issues," said Esther Gonzalez, Jordan’s mother. The list of health problems were complications from a faulty heart valve. At 18 months old, Jordan received a new, donated heart. Gonzalez says news of an available heart was both a blessing and concern. “Instantly you feel relief, you know, she may make it. But on the flip, it took me a half a second for me to turn and say, 'a mother lost her child tonight,'" she said. That child was 7-month-old Lukas from California. "Just the happiest kid. He only cried when he was hungry," his mother Heather Clark said. Lukas was Heather Clark's only child. He died as a result of child abuse. Clark was unable to elaborate because the case is still pending. Despite the tragedy, Clark didn’t hesitate to make the decision to donate Lukas’ organs. "The only thing I can think of is: I can't save my own son. Why not save someone else's," she said. Now, thanks to Clark’s selfless decision, Jordan can run around and play like any other child.
