Many of the students are enrolled in advanced-placement biology classes and have expressed an interest in medical careers, so getting hands-on experience in the UNR Med anatomy lab gave them a great preview of what their futures could be as medical students. Following the lab experience, UNR Med faculty answered questions and detailed the many possibilities a career in medicine offers, from an M.D. degree and PA programs to nursing and more. With these students leading the way, the future of medicine in Nevada is bright! #UNRMed50 #AHealthyNevada
