So there are wonderful side effects and there are some side effects that are little painful and very uncomfortable at times. Either way they are still side effects. Most people see smoking as just being some bad habit, just one little piece, just one little aspect of their lives that they wish didn’t happen once they are thinking of quitting. However I’m here to tell you that it goes through the threat of your entire life if you are anything like me. I was a pack a day smoker for many years, and I did everything, I smoked over everything, I smoked with everything, so it went through every aspect of my life. So there were great side effects, good side effects, bad side effects and hopeless side effects. Focus on the really good ones. Focus on the fact that you won’t smell bad, you won’t look bad, you’ll have one less thing that people will be getting on your nerves about saying, WHY DON’T YA? That’s always very helpful and in fact that should you’ll be teaching people, if you have children you will be showing them that you can overcome the most difficult things. So those are the good side effects. Some of the bad side effects can be that, well maybe good actually; you might have to get rid of some people in your life. But, some of those people you may not want in your life anyway. Either way you are going to stay away from some people for a little while. Even people you love if they still smoke because that’s too triggering. And the other side effects can be really bad also like a little, weight gain, but I’m here to tell you, I gained some weight, I don’t know if you could see, but I think you can that I’m not crazily overweight anymore. Because one of the good side effects came out of that bad side effect. I gained some weight which made me decide to start exercising, which ended up being a good side effect. So you’re getting the drift? It’s a big life change and it’s a day at a time and it’s a process. So get into your process, don’t be afraid of it, get excited about, of where you are going to end up.

There is physical withdrawal and there is emotional withdrawal. For the physical withdrawal there are nicotine replacement therapies which have nicotine in them and will help you withdraw slowly physically. Nicotine addiction is 80 percent psychological, it's 20 percent physical. Either way it can be a very difficult withdrawal. One of the first suggestions I have is to treat yourself like a little kid, like a child. Get plenty of rest. Eat proper nutritious meals. Nap when you're tired if you can. Take walks around the block. Or, if you live near a body of water or in the mountains, take a beautiful walk and look at the sky. Deep breathe. Breathe in and out. Drink a lot of water. That will also help you with cravings. And the deep breathing will help you when you're feeling panicky and full of anxiety. It's the first thing a paramedic will tell you when you're feeling terrified. When you see a tragic accident a paramedic would tell you, take deep breaths slowly in through your nose and out through your mouth. Well, it works the same way with the nicotine withdrawal. There are many things that you can do to also help you with nicotine withdrawal. Don't let yourself get too lonely. I've already mentioned tired. If you're angry try to deep breathe. Try to talk it out with a friend whatever's going on, because these things can be exacerbated by the withdrawal. You could end up picking up a cigarette instead of dealing with the actual situation. I recommend you try all of these things. Please, reward yourself. Be good to yourself. Don't pick up a cigarette.

Smoking marijuana does not harm lungs: study says

A US government-funded study has found smoking marijuana regularly for up to seven years does not impair lung function. Researchers at the University of Alabama at Birmingham's School of Medicine monitored the lung function of over 5,000 young men and women over 20 years between 1985 and 2006, and found that smoking pot for seven 'joint years' - which means 365 joints a year - does not alter lung function. However, experts say this will probably not push forward the legalization of medical marijuana, as the drug poses other health risks. As a smoker, you have no doubt developed a pattern to your smoking. For example, if you are a typical one pack a day smoker one of your habits is to smoke a pack a day. You need to take small steps to break these habits. Perhaps you will find best luck in simply changing your habits slowly. For example, if you typically smoke a cigarette after each meal, you might find it helpful to brush your teeth. This can have the effect of providing a fresh mouth that you do not want to dirty with cigarette taste. You might find that after each meal you need to try chewing a piece of gum, sucking on hard candy or even attempting nicotine gum. If there are any specific circumstances that always trigger a cigarette craving, you should work to avoid the situation. If it is something that you absolutely cannot avoid, such as dinner times, you need to create an alternative habit that you replace smoking with. For example, if you always smoke as soon as you get to your car after work, you might want to consider carpooling with someone who does not smoke, taking a different route home, stopping for groceries, jamming to some music or even taking a bus. Anything you can do to shake up your normal smoking routine is good. There will of course be times that it is quite difficult to break the habits. If you find yourself in a position where you cannot avoid a typical smoking situation, you need to create a way to deal with it. Some people use nicotine gum whenever they are faced with a smoking situation. Others find that the stop smoking sticks are beneficial. These sticks can allow you to hold a pretend cigarette that just provides your hands with something to do. If you find these quite useful then you know that your problem is your hands are idle, finding something for your hands to do might help a lot. Trying to quit is a very difficult process. Many people take weeks if not months to quit smoking completely. If you are struggling far too much with the idea of completely quitting at once you may find it is much better for your own situation to slowly cut back on your cigarette consumption. Regardless of the precise method that you choose, it can take a minimum of 2 weeks to start adapting new habits. This means that any new behavior you adopt in your quest to stop smoking must be repeated continuously for at least two weeks before you will start to see a real difference in your lifestyle. "SMOKING IS DANGEROUS TO YOUR HEALTH" this is the most popular saying in the advertisements it reflects the effects of smoking to our health. i would like to start with what nicotine is. nicotine is a naturally occuring colotless liquid that turns brown when burn and acquires the odor of tabacco when exposed to the air. nicotine is a high powered stimulant and one of the most addictive drugs in fact, the surgeon generaly concluded that nicotine addiction is comparable with the addiction of heroin or morphin.when a cigarette is smoked nicotine first enters whe lungs and bloodstream. within seven seconds, about 15% of the nicotine travels directly to the brain. there are over 4000 toxic subtances in a cigarette. some of these are, arsenic (found in rat poison) acetic acid (found in hair dye developer) ammonia (found in household cleaner) benzene (found in rubber cement) and thousand more. these toxic subtances go in the lungs and blood of our friend and relatives the result of this unhealty habit is defferent types of cancer the center of disease control and prevention reports that cigarette smoking is responsible for 30% of all cancer deaths smoker not only die of lung cancer but also cancer of the mouth, throat, esophagus, baldder, kidney, ceruix, and leukemia. now i am going to talk about different diseases that smoking could cause. let's start with bronchitis, his/her bronchial tubes become inflamed or irritated emphysema is a lung disease that has no cure. a person with this disease has difficulty breathing because the walls of the small air sacs in destroyed heavy smoker also increase their chances of getting peripheral vascular disease. in this disease the arteries the lead to the arms and legs keep getting narrower as a resuit, not enough oxygen rich blood goes to the arms and legs. it is better to give up complete rather than cut down slowly. if you really want to live a happy life style and living without treat, stop smoking just imagine how would be your health condition if you smoke frequently. think about it. thank you for listening and have a good day! -Arselle Patricia C. Hi, I am Trym Gibbons, Dr. Gibbons, with Goodman Dental Care and Tangerine Dental Care. I am here to talk to you a little bit about what to expect after you have a tooth pulled. Unfortunately, at some point in our lives sometimes we have to have a tooth pulled, and our goal in our office is to save as many teeth as we can, but sometimes we just have to take them out. It could be from you need a tooth pulled to have braces so that your teeth can align correctly. Maybe a tooth is decayed and broken off and it can't be saved, or maybe you have extra teeth. Whatever the reason you may have to have your tooth pulled, and when you have a tooth pulled, the big things to remember are generally speaking for normal teeth extraction, you shouldn't have a whole bunch of swelling. You may have some, but not a lot, and the pain shouldn't be excruciating. What can happen when people have a lot of pain afterwards is when you pull that tooth out you are left with that hole in the mouth, and that fills up with blood, and then it just kind of fills over and starts to heal. Well, if, if that blood clot in there is dislodged, it causes a dry socket, and those hurt like the dickens, and that is caused from negative pressure like trying to create a loogy in your mouth, or sucking through a straw or smoking. Those all pull that blood clot out of the socket, and so that is why we encourage you not to smoke or drink through a straw after an extraction. The other things to expect are, you are going to be oozing blood, but a little bit of blood and a lot of spit, looks like a lot of blood, so just be aware of that. The other thing you could do is for the first twenty four hours is use an ice pack on the area, and that will keep down swelling, but the after that you want to use heat to increase the blood flow and to increase healing to the area, and then finally, you know, a lot of times you tell patients to put a trash bag over their pillow, and then put a pillow case over that, but maybe even a towel over that because if you drool in the night with that little bit of oozing it can stain your pillow, but those are some main things to look for when you have a tooth extracted. http://www.tucsongoodmandental.com/blog/2012/11/after-an-extraction/

A new hard-hitting advert warning of the dangers of smoking has been released by the Department of Health. The new government anti-smoking advert, the first of its kind for eight years, shows a tumour growing from a cigarette. According to the Department of Health, smoking just 15 cigarettes can cause a mutation than can lead to cancerous tumours. Chief Medical Officer Professor Dame Sally Davies said smokers play Russian roulette with every cigarette. "This is a hard-hitting campaign to get at the hidden harms of smoking," she said. "People will see a man smoking and then a cancer growing out of the cigarette. That is what happens in people's bodies. "One-in-two smokers die from smoking, most from cancer. We know that people don't personalise the harms of smoking and don't understand what's happening in their bodies. This will show them." The campaign is in response to statistics which show more than a third of smokers still think the health risks are greatly exaggerated, the Department of Health said. Good day! This topic is about smoking. The speech is a glimpse of what you get out of smoking. "Smoking is dangerous to our health". You may think smoking will help you relax or make you look cool. What it actually will do is make it harder for you to exercise and mess up your health. Even if you know all that, though, it can be hard to say "no" to cigarettes. There is no need of risking your life for one little cigarette. The whole idea of people letting smoke and endangering their health is foolish and cannot be supported by any evidence. Smoking should be stopped because it wastes a lot of money, and is very addictive. Smoking is not right and we should all quit before we get a bad habit of it. Smoking has a big effect on our environment and on public places it should be taken seriously. Cigarettes are made with extremely harmful substances, such as pesticides, carbon monoxide, and nicotine. If the ingredients inside cigarette are burned they are even more deadly and harmful. Some ingredients in a "puff" include: acetone, and ammonia. More than 40 chemicals in tobacco cause heart disease, lung diseases, and cancer. Smoking is harmful to our body; Smoking has become a problem; the number of Users of cigarettes is not decreasing. Also, Smoking causes more deaths than alcohol. A powerful ingredient called nicotine causes most of it. Even though smokers who want to quit can't quit, because of the addiction nicotine causes. However it is possible to avoid it in groups. If you continue to consume tobacco you will lose, a healthy heart, healthy lungs and healthy body. Smoking causes a lot of harmful things inside and outside your body. Some affects are: irregular heartbeat, it's harder to pump up blood. It is a major cause of cancers like mouth cancer, lung cancer, throat cancer, and cancer of the esophagus. It can also cause cancers of the kidney, bladder, and pancreas. Smoking can cause serious problems like: addiction, stomach ulcers, brittle bones, eye problems, sleep problem, tooth and gum problem. To conclude, smoking should be banned from all public places because it endangers other people health and creates a harmful environment. It can be seen from the evidence I have given, it is foolish to allow people smoke in public places and it should be outlawed. Moreover, the study is another example of the negative nutritional implications of smoking. Let's stop smoking. Let's have better life. Enjoy life. Enjoy healthy body.

Honestly I tried to smoke several times. Because I have a lot of problems . But after that, I suffered from cough and colds and I can't breathe properly. And from now on I will stop and try to encourage everyone to stop this deadly habit too. The best way to show that smoking hurts people from different sides is to divide all of the negative influences in several categories. First is the Personal Hygiene, cigarettes cause bad breath, yellow teeth, early wrinkling of skin, and many more. So how can people like you if you don't have a proper hygiene? However not only the hygiene is affected, our Nature too. Cigarette butts cause Water pollution. Because smokers throw it anywhere and it will end up in lakes and rivers. Air Pollution also exist, approximately 4, 000 chemicals are present in cigarettes, which are release in the atmosphere. While hygiene and nature is affected by smoking, our health is often affected. Each year smoking kills more people than AIDS, murders, car accidents and fires. Because cigarettes have a lot of health risks like suffering from Lung Cancer, Heart-Attack, Stroke, Asthma and many more. The person near the smoker may also suffer from diseases due to inhaling of second-hand smoke. Now that you heard all the effects of smoking. The ads will tell smokers that just 15 cigarettes can cause a mutation that leads to cancerous tumours in what marks a return to shock campaigning. Cigirettes are an American past time passed down from generation to generation. Tobacco use is the leading cause of preventable illness and death in the United States. It causes many different cancers as well as chronic lung diseases, such as emphysema and bronchitis, and heart disease. This is personal to me because my Grandmother was diagnosed with lung cancer 2 years with throat cancer. It was due to smoking. She went though month of chemo and radiation, making her very sick and unable to speak due to the damage done to her vocal cords. Luckily she is now cancer free. But I would like everyone to know the great risks of smoking. • Cigarette smoking causes an estimated 443,000 deaths each year. • Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death among both men and women in the United States, and 90 percent of lung cancer deaths among men and approximately 80 percent of lung cancer deaths among women are due to smoking.
 • Smoking causes many other types of cancer, including cancers of the throat, mouth, nasal cavity, esophagus, stomach, pancreas, kidney, bladder, and cervix, and acute myeloid leukemia.

He has a hard mass growing from the area near to the removed teeth. The FNAC has been reported to be Squamous cell carcinoma. This habit of tobacco chewing is very common in villagers from UP and Bihar but it is more common than believed among the villagers of Punjab who have picked up the habit from the farm labor coming from UP and Bihar.
