Building A Retaining Ring For Your Fruit Tree

I put in three new rings for my fruit trees as part of my Better Backyard Project. This is the first time I've done a project like this, so I learned quite a few lessons along the way. In this episode, I'll walk you through how I put together the last ring. Despite a few hiccups along the way, it turned out well and I'm really pleased with the result. I hope that by watching this video you'll have the confidence to go for it with a project like this one. Believe me, if I can do this, you can too.

ZERO BUDGET NATURAL FARMING - INDIA'S BEST PALEKAR'S FIVE LAYERS MODEL.

05:32
Sri Krishnappa Dasappa Gowda has developed this model in 5 acres . He has divided that 5 acres into equal blocks of 36ft X 36ft . In this video , he explains that , in each block of 36 ft x 36 ft ( which is further divided into four 9ft X 9ft sub-blocks) he is growing around 170 trees , in that he is explaining about the yield he is getting in a 9ft x 9 ft portion of land (one sub-block) . He planted 1 Banana Tree, 4 Arekanut Trees , 4 Black pepper Creepers climbing on Arekanut trees , 2 Coffee Plants , 2 Glirsedia Trees , 2 Venella Creepers climbing on Glirsedia trees & 32 Ginger Plants in each 9ft X 9ft area . He says that the Yield from, (1) 1 Banana Tree - 10Kg X Rs.20/- = Rs. 200=00 (2) 4 Arecanut Trees - 25Kg x 4Trees x Rs.15/- = Rs.1500=00 (3) 2 Venela creepers+2Glirsedia Trees - 50grms x 2 trees x Rs.3/- = Rs. 300=00 (4) 4 Black Pepper Creepers - 1Kg x 4 x Rs.400/- = Rs.1600=00 (5) 2 Coffee plants - 2Kg x 2 Plants x Rs.80/- = Rs. 320=00 (6) 32 ginger Plants - 0.15kg x 32 x Rs.100/- = (Rs. 480=00) ( This income Rs.480/- is utilized for Expenses) Total income from 9ft x 9 ft ( Sub- block ) land = Rs.3800 = 00 So , for each 36ft x 36ft block ( 4 Sub-blocks + 1 Coconut tree + 1 Mosambi tree ) the total income is approxmately Rs.18000 = 00. { Explanation :- income from each 9ft X 9ft sub-block = Rs.15,200/- , In addition to these blocks he planted 1 Mosambi (citrus) tree and 1 Coconut Tree in each 36ft X 36ft block and the income from them is Rs.2000/- and Rs.1000/- resply . So,the total income from each 36ft X 36ft Block is Rs.18,200/- and rounded off to Rs.18,000/- } . For 1 acre there are 33 similar blocks like this , So , the total income per acre is Rs.6 Lakhs approx . ( Rs.18,200/- X 33 blocks = Rs.6,00,600/- and rounded off to 6 Lakhs ) . CONCLUSION : He doesnt have any borewell in his farm and he says that his Land is a double wet land and mostly it is rainfed , canal water is used very rarely during peak summer . Water consumption is 10% of regular farming . He suggests that all the farmers to adopt similar Natural Farming Methods and grow plants & crops suitable for their local climate and reap money. Christian Character Lessons for Children in Spanish and English by Glen DeYoung

04:33
The Lessons in Living character lessons presented here teach qualities of character such as Attentiveness, Obedience, Truthfulness, Gratefulness, Generosity, Orderliness, Forgiveness, Sincerity, and Virtue found in the character of God the Father, the Son of God Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Spirit. There are five lesson plans within this Attentiveness bulletin consisting of lessons on God the Father, the life of Jonah, Adam & Eve, William Carey, and the Prodigal son. Line drawings for coloring on student exercise worksheets help the student understand the quality, practice the quality by doing, and to teach others the character quality they are applying to their life. Our popular character songs, that Glen De Young wrote, for children highlight each quality. Our mission statement is to "Mentor, mobilize and disciple Christian adults and children to disciple the children of all nations." This mission is accomplished through strengthening believers in their committed vision of teaching and training children in the knowledge, the ways and the character of God. CrossFit - "The Foundation Is Nutrition"

05:15
Combining the CrossFit training methodology with a diet of meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar brings "a jet stream of adaptation," says CrossFit founder Greg Glassman. In the pyramid Glassman created, nutrition is the foundation, with met-cons, gymnastics, weightlifting and throwing, and sport following. "Each level builds on the level below it," explains Nicole Carroll, director of certification. "If your nutrition sucks, these things will not be where they could be if it were more solid." Likewise, Glassman says CrossFit favors Barry Sears' Zone Diet "because it does give me accurate and precise prescription for caloric intake and, more importantly, the exact levels of macronutrient that I can start at." Likewise, trainers and coaches can make informed decisions on how to tweak an athlete's diet for improved performance, he says. Mega Ran's Nintendo Power Rap (@MegaRan)

Produced by DN3 (RC Pro-Am is the sample) download for free at http://random.bandcamp.com/track/nintendo-power get a limited NP tribute 11x17 print here! http://random.bandcamp.com/merch/mega-ran-language-arts-np-retro-print Lyrics: I'm an OG Fun Club Member..know what I mean? so hearing this news...got me a little upset though.. Browsing my rss feed It's a rarity that tech news manages to upset me My jaw was stuck on the floor When i read Nintendo power would be shuttin it's doors From the day I got the first issue in the mailbox Had me on lock like prisoners in Cell blocks Mario 2 and the zelda second quest Totally obsessed from that day on I'd never rest Keepin me updated with the products Laughin at the Howard and nester comics, special times One time I even called the hot line, Ran up the phone bill got screamed on by mom, she was mad at me, even took a jab at me, but that didn't stop me I was all about the magazine (Nintendo Power) who showed me the code to tyson (Nintendo Power) who got me unlimited lives in Mario 1, and now that you're done, i figured the least I could do was get to writing I waited impatiently for every issue -- Wanna let you know we gonna miss you - Nintendo power All the games you helped me get through All of the tips in every issue It's all over is this true? I just want to let you know; we gonna miss you Nintendo...Nintendo..Nintendo Nintendo..Nintendo... Power for 20 years, Nintendo Power has focused on game strategy, tips and tricks and was the ultimate source of detailed insider knowledge directly from the programming teams. Seeing is believing whoever thought that I could be in a magazine I grew up reading And before I had a stage name All I did was play games, sorta like a fiend, Waiting delivery day came And I'm not asking you to come back Even though we all think we would want that I could get mad that the mags are finished But truthfully I hadnt touched one since I was in it, But I'm a history buff, I hate breaking tradition And a huge part Game journalism is missing Without nintendo power--in the mix Where would I spend those hours--the tips and tricks, Like torrential showers, comin down Suddenly reducing to drops, and then it all just stops, Like a 1st round KO Can you imagine the day though You go to the doctors and nothings on the table And it boggles my mind Hard to fathom but I guess it's just a sign of the times So I'm providing the rhymes, To offer a thank you For issue number 3 because of that, I came to... So the memory I savor it, each one is my favorite Now you're the power that I'm playing with Cause y'all the reason I heard of mega man Without that I would still be doin lesson plans Peace to EGM and Gamepro Game informer and the rest, it aint the same bro So i read PDFs of Every issue Wanna let you know we gonna miss you - Nintendo power All the games you helped me get through All of the tips in every issue It's all over is this true? I just want to let you know; we gonna miss you Nintendo...Nintendo..Nintendo Nintendo..Nintendo... Power

CMU Coffee Plantation Chiang Mai 0.1.mp4

04:29
How to get there. From the Chiang Mai University entrance head west on Huey Kaew road (road #1004) it's 27 kilometers of paved road and 100 meters of good dirt road. You will pass the Chiang Mai Zoo, Wat Plahad, Doi Suthep and Phuping Royal Palace before the road becomes narrow. At the first intersection beyond the Phuping Palace you want to turn right up the hill. See note 1. This newly paved 3 meters wide road curves through old growth forest. Drive slowly and use your horn as the signs request. There is not enough room for cars to pass each other without some maneuvering from here on. The last 3 or 4 kilometers are downhill on partially moss covered often wet older paved roads also used by mountain bikers. Be Careful! Just drive slow and stop only on turnouts to check out the huge trees and mountain valley views. I ride a motorcycle to get there and find it perfect, when it rains I stop and open up my umbrella. Many people ride bicycles down all the way from the hill top beyond Phuping Palace to Huey Tung Tao with a stop at the coffee plantation. see Note 2. There is coffee and Macadamia nuts grown on the plantation for sale and cup of soup to eat. There is a clean basic toilet block to the right and down the steps. Walk around in the often cool and foggy plantation and gardens. The roads and facilities are not suitable for buses. Large groups should contact The Agriculture Department at CMU before going. Note 1 The fork to the left goes to a nice Hmong Village for lunch, looking around and shopping. There are gardens, stone grinding wheels, a water driven rice pounder and many crafts being made. There is a nice new coffee shop on the road in that offers stunning views, great coffee and clean toilets. Note 2 Many companies in Chiang Mai offer these Mountain Bike tours everyday. Ground transportation proper equipment and a guide are essential to enjoying the ride down hill beyond the Hmong Village just beyond the coffee plantation. There is often no telephone signal up here and lots of roads without signs.
