$$$$$$$ How to SAVE MONEY on makeup and skin care products $$$$$$$ (and two of my favorite anti aging skin care products)
I LOVE getting luxury / high end anti aging creams, serums, masks, moisturizers, and peels without paying high prices. By shopping like this, a lot of these high end products end up being as affordable as drugstore products!
When I first stumbled across these options, I thought it was too good to be true but I've been very happy with my purchases so far... here is what I've tried (these have all been sample sets):
-Murad: Intensive-C Radiance Peel
-Dr Dennis Gross: Alpha Beta Peel
-Skinceuticals: CE Ferulic Serum, Retexturing Activator, Resveratrol BE
-Revale Skin Care: Intense Recovery Treatment, Replenishing Eye Repair
**My favorite anti aging product I have tried is definitely Skinceuticals CE Ferulic serum - there is a reason it is so popular. It does a great job of preventing free radicals and also helps with the overall tone / texture of the skin. I started noticing an improvement in my skin within a week of using it. My skin feels softer, healthier and has a more even appearance to it.
The next best is the Revale Intensive Recovery Treatment. I have heard a lot of great things about the antioxidant power of coffeeberry (which it contains in a 1.5% concentration). My skin soaks this stuff in and it really seems to keep it healthier. It's moisturizing but not too heavy and does not clog my pores. I'm not sure I'll be repurchasing any of the other skin care products I tried.
I actually prefer ordering Skinceuticals CE Ferulic Serum as a sample set - Instead of one big bottle that oxidizes faster, I keep the 6 sample vials in the fridge and use one at a time. Then each little bottle is protected from light / air longer.
-Tips for ebay:
*Make sure the seller has extremely positive feedback (as close to 100%) from a high amount of people. Do some research on their site and what they sell, how long they've been a seller, etc.
*Purchase the product from an authorized retailer first to become familiar with the consistency / texture, color, smell and results so you are able to compare the two in order to make sure you are getting the genuine product
*When possible, I prefer getting products that come in individually sealed packets (like the Revale skincare I show in the video)
*Message the seller and see how professional their response is and how good their knowledge of the product is.
Aspen Clinique.com seems legitimate (I've been very happy with it so far) but I'd love to know if anyone else thinks otherwise. They have just about every brand you can think of - Obagi, Peter Thomas Roth, NIA24, StriVectin, Dermalogica, SkinMedica, Elta MD, Avene, DDF, Eminence, Neocutis - you name it!!
Again, if you are suspicious, it helps to be familiar with the product beforehand so you are better able to know if something would be off. I know for a fact that there are many fakes out there but so far I have been able to find genuine products.
