ABOUT THE PRESENTER:
Ralph L. Kliem, PMP, CBCP, President of LeanPM, LLC, has over 30 years of experience with Fortune 500 firms, including Safeco Insurance Companies and The Boeing Company. As a senior Project Manager for Boeing, he managed many agile and financial compliance and Business Continuity projects. Some of the Business Continuity projects he managed included building, testing, and maintaining Business Preparedness plans for the 747, 767, 777, and 787 programs. He also managed a major Proof of Concept project and preparation of the corresponding business case for a web-based business analytics software application that recently won the CIO Award for Risk Management; CSO Award for Innovation and Risk Management; the Manufacturing Leadership Council ML 100; and the Manufacturing Leadership Council Project of the Year for 2014. As a former Corporate Auditor, he led numerous projects that evaluated the performance of major business and Information Technology projects and programs as well as some for Boeing’s Executive Council and Audit Committee. Ralph also teaches PMP certification courses and general Project Management seminars and workshops and is an adjunct faculty member of City University in Seattle and a former member of Seattle Pacific University; an instructor with the Continuing Education program with Bellevue College, Cascadia Community College, and Everett Community College. He is the author or co-author of over 15 books and over 300 articles with leading business and information technology publications. He is the co-author of Business Continuity Planning: A Project Management Approach (CRC Press, 2015).
