Antibiotics are medicines used to treat bacterial infections. There are different types of antibiotics that work against different strains of bacteria and some types of parasites. When used properly, they either kill or inhibit the growth of bacteria that cause a particular health problem. This in turn helps your natural immune system fight the infection. But antibiotics often have side effects that cause other temporary health issues. Some common side effects include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, vaginal yeast infections, allergic reactions and inner ear problems. 1. Eat Probiotic Yogurt When taking antibiotics, it is highly recommended to include yogurt with ‘good bacteria’ in your diet. Eating yogurt that contains ‘live cultures’ (also labeled as probiotic yogurt) helps your body recover from diarrhea, one of the common side effects of antibiotics. These live cultures are gut-friendly bacteria that provide a layer of protection in the intestines and help generate lactic acid to get bacterial toxins out of the body. 2. Eat Fermented Foods or Take a Probiotic Supplement. Apart from yogurt, many fermented foods naturally contain a high amount of probiotics. So, in addition to yogurt, include kombucha, kefir, sauerkraut, pickles, pickled beets, pickled turnips, pickled carrots and kimchi in your diet. 3. Eat Garlic. Garlic is a natural antibiotic that helps kill harmful microbes without the side effects of antibiotic medicines. Also, it contains an important compound known as allicin that protects your kidneys and liver from the potential damage of antibiotics. 4. Take Milk Thistle Supplements. Taking traditional antibiotics can be hard on your liver, which is responsible for breaking down the medications you ingest. To protect your liver from any damage due to a course of antibiotics, the herb milk thistle is very effective. The rich antioxidants in this herb help protect the liver. 5. Sip Ginger Tea Whether you suffer from diarrhea, nausea or vomiting due to prescribed antibiotics, ginger is effective in dealing with these side effects. Ginger’s natural antibiotic property helps prevent and treat many health problems caused by bacteria. Fresh ginger has an antibiotic effect against food-borne pathogens as well as respiratory and periodontal infections. 6. Eat Bland Foods. Some of the most widely reported side effects of antibitoics include diarrhea, nausea and vomiting. To counter these issues, it is advisable that you eat only bland food during and after a cource of antibiotics. These types of food inlcude dry crackers, plain bread, white rice, etc. 7. Drink Apple Cider Vinegar Tonic. Apple cider vinegar has antibacterial properties that help fight harmful bacteria in your body. Also, it is a good remedy for controlling diarrhea, one of the common side effects of antibiotic medicine. 8. Drink Enough Fluids. To counter dry mouth caused by medicines and a mild loss of fluids from diarrhea or vomiting, drink more water. Drinking an ample amount of water throughout the day will keep your body hydrated. For a more-severe loss of water, drink fluids that contain water, sugar and salt to help replace electrolytes that the body needs. 9. Stay Healthy. One way to deal with side effects of antibiotics is to stay healthy so you don’t have to take them for long. Take steps to support your health in the following way. 10. Take Antibiotics as Directed. Last but not least, you must always take your antibiotic medicine as directed by your physician. For instance, some antibiotics should be taken only with water. Others need to be taken with food in order to increase their absorption in the body and ward off an upset stomach, a common side effect of antibiotics. Side effects for this antibiotic are worse than infections it's prescribed for

02:28
The FDA just announced that it will require more warnings on the label for a class of antibiotics known as fluoroquinolones because the side effects they cause are worse than the actual infections they are commonly prescribed for. Side effects include permanent muscle and nerve damage, when the infections they're prescribed for usually clear up on their own, without the need of any medication. Ciprofloxacin tablets|Use|Side effects|Mechanism of action

05:14
Ciprofloxacin is an antibiotic used to treat a number of bacterial infections. This includes bone and joint infections, intra abdominal infections, certain type of infectious diarrhea, respiratory tract infections, skin infections, typhoid fever, and urinary tract infections, among others. For some infections it is used in addition to other antibiotics. It can be taken by mouth or used intravenously. Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and rash.Ciprofloxacin increases the risk of tendon rupture and worsening muscle weakness in people with the neurological disorder myasthenia gravis.[2] Rates of side effects appear to be higher than some groups of antibiotics such as cephalosporins but lower than others such as clindamycin.[3] Studies in other animals raise concerns regarding use in pregnancy. No problems were identified, however, in the children of a small number of women who took the medication. It appears to be safe during breastfeeding. It is a second-generation fluoroquinolone with a broad spectrum of activity that usually results in the death of the bacteria. Ciprofloxacin was introduced in 1987. It is on the World Health Organization's List of Essential Medicines, the most effective and safe medicines needed in a health system.[8] It is available as a generic medication and not very expensive. The wholesale cost in the developing world is between 0.03 and 0.13 USD a dose.In the United States it is sold for about 0.40 USD per dose. Medical use: Ciprofloxacin is used to treat a wide variety of infections, including infections of bones and joints, endocarditis, gastroenteritis, malignant otitis externa, respiratory tract infections, cellulitis, urinary tract infections, prostatitis, anthrax, and chancroid. Ciprofloxacin only treats bacterial infections; it does not treat viral infections such as the common cold. For certain uses including acute sinusitis, lower respiratory tract infections and uncomplicated gonorrhea, ciprofloxacin is not considered a first-line agent. Ciprofloxacin occupies an important role in treatment guidelines issued by major medical societies for the treatment of serious infections, especially those likely to be caused by Gram-negative bacteria, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa. For example, ciprofloxacin in combination with metronidazole is one of several first-line antibiotic regimens recommended by the Infectious Diseases Society of America for the treatment of community-acquired abdominal infections in adults. It also features prominently in treatment guidelines for acute pyelonephritis, complicated or hospital-acquired urinary tract infection, acute or chronic prostatitis, certain types of endocarditis Thanks. Top 5 Oral Antibiotics for Acne Treatment. Are they safe and effective ?

02:26
http://www.cysticacnehelp.com/antibiotics-for-acne/ Antibiotics are the most commonly used method for treating acne. There are different antibiotics used to treat acne. They all work in more or less the same way. Acne antibiotics can either be used orally or applied on the skin. Although they can help reduce and clear acne breakouts, these antibiotics have their associated side effect. Oral antibiotics for acne There are different types of oral antibiotics prescribed for the treatment of acne. The most common of these include the following. Tetracycline is one of the commonly prescribed acne treatments. For effectiveness, the patient has to take the medication on an empty stomach. Taking the medication with meals reduces its effectiveness. It has a derivative, minocycline which is commonly prescribed for treatment of pustular acne. Doxycycline is an acne treatment antibiotic commonly prescribed for patients whose acne conditions don't respond to treatment with tetracycline or minocycline. It should be taken with food. Two other antibiotics for acne: Erythromycin and Clindamycin Possible side effects of oral antibiotics for acne Nausea and vomiting Candida vaginal yeast infection in women Interaction with birth control pills lessening their effectiveness Increased skin sensitivity to the sun Allergic reactions to the medication Many acne sufferers have found the antibiotics to be quite effective in combating acne breakouts. However, effectiveness comes down to the type of antibiotics for acne used and the individual's condition. A study showed that the acne causing bacteria is becoming resistant to some of the antibiotics making them less effective for treatment. Finding the most effective antibiotics for acne to treat your breakouts can be a costly affair. The problem is that not all antibiotics available guarantee great results. If you want effective acne treatment methods which guarantee results despite your acne condition, I have compiled a short report detailing 5 easy steps to get rid of acne. Antibiotic Body Damage Recovery (Levaquin Cipro Side Effects and How I Healed)

09:06
It is my opinion only, that the damage these antibiotics are causing to people's bodies may be partially or fully due to the drug's destruction of crucially important healthy forms of bacteria in the gut. This, along with leaky gut which I believe is epidemic, may cause both a fungal version of yeast called candida to breach the barrier in the gut, and give the immune system a particularly difficult time managing it, as well as oxalate to also permeate the entire body causing a potential double-whammy that if addressed, may reverse the condition. Lots to be pissed off about with this situation. But one biggie is in how people are being told this condition is permanent. Although I believe it can be difficult to reverse, I believe it is entirely possible if approached from the above theoretical standpoint. That is how I approached it, and have had tremendous results. See my programs as well as the free info over at http://MaintenanceMotions.com. If you have some organic expeller-pressed coconut oil...or oil of your choice according to options available via Ayurvedic tradition...I'd give oil pulling a try, sticking with it for a solid few months. I have found it to be incredibly effective for joint/tendon issues, with dietary change, gut health with probiotics, and candida management to offer profound improvements. I need to consistently maintain the effort, but it's a part of my lifestyle regardless. Then I added some high quality ubiquinol to assist with mitochondrial damage, and energy production. http://FacelessFatloss.com My Over 40 program: http://Over40andRipped.com And Facebook: http://facebook.com/tim.ripped Love, Happiness, Health and Peace.........Tim .

No More UTI, No More Antibiotics - I Found A Solution

07:45
I can relate to your frustration. As someone who suffered from UTIs almost every month, I finally found a solution. I haven't had a UTI in over a year! Urinary Tract Infections, also known as UTI. I wanted to share this video with those of you who suffer from UTIs. When I would get the UTI, I would have to go on antibiotics because the infection processed through my body so fast that drinking lots of water or cranberry juice did not help make it go away. For me, once I get a UTI, the only way to make it go away is to go on antibiotics. For some people, they can drink a lot of water or cranberry juice and it goes away. That just never worked with me. Prevention was my only hope. I had tried many things to prevent from getting the UTI (baking soda, cinnamon, concentrated cranberry pills, purest cranberry juice) and I would still get UTI and have to go on antibiotics over and over again. I believe taking antibiotics whether from UTI or whatever type of infections (ear infections, etc) is not good for you. It slowly breaks down your immune system and ruins your stomach. I believe it is the cause of my allergies and also causes my stomach to react unnaturally to certain foods, which I hadn't had a problem previously. I've heard that if taking antibiotics for a long time, your body becomes immune to it and one day when you need it, it won't work anymore. Sounds so scary. Therefore, I wanted to find a solution to never getting another UTI again. I have been UTI free for over 1 year now. I'm so excited to share this with especially those that are similar and also want to find a solution. This product that I use is called D-Mannose Powder and the brand is NOW. Who would have thought a simple sugar powder could help so much to the point I no longer get UTIs. Believe me, I was so skeptical at first. But I had another round of antibiotics waiting for me if it didn't work. First I followed what the suggested usage on the back of the bottle mentioned. That did not work. Then, I altered the way I take it so that it would work for me. It mentioned to take it every day as a dietary supplement. I only take it at certain times (please view my video to see details on how I made it work for me). When I mention flushing with 5 cups in my video, that means drinking 4 - 5 cups of water in 1 hour after waiting 45 minute for the teaspoon of D-Mannose to set in. This bottle is not cheap. So I wanted to make sure I only use it when needed. Not sure which way would work best for you. I'm only sharing my experience and how I have made it work for me. Disclaimer: I am not claiming that it would cure the UTI or treat the UTI. Please consult with your physician before using. I have mentioned this D-Mannose to my physician and she is happy I no longer get the UTIs. I have successfully used it to prevent me from getting a UTI for over 1 year now. You can purchase this item at a health food store called Sprouts. This is a local health food type grocery store that also sells vitamins. As mentioned in the video, I will update this description section when I know of a sale. There is currently a sale going on from 01/03/18 to 01/10/18. I believe it is 25% off. For those who do not have a Sprouts near you, you can also purchase it online. I hope this video has inspired you to find solutions. I was hesitant to put up this video because it is a very sensitive subject. But I know so many people suffer from UTIs so perhaps this video would be helpful and valuable. Take care! Cheers!

What are the commonly used Painkillers available in India?-Dr.Preeti Doshi

01:35
We have various classes of drugs to treat pain. Depending on the severity of pain, your doctor will decide which is most suitable drug for you. For mild pain, you can take drugs like paracetamol or if the pain is a little more in severity, moderate severity, then you can take a drug, along with paracetamol, you can also take containing ibuprofen, this can be used for pains like if you have an injury or sore throat or headache, these drugs can be taken in the recommended doses. If the pain is even stronger or sever in intensity, then we prescribe certain stronger dugs like tramadol or opioid like drugs like morphine. But these drugs are generally reserved for very severe cases of pain and they have to be strictly given under prescription and supervision by a medical practitioner.

How To Take Finasteride (Propecia) Without Side Effects

07:02
One of the best FDA-approved hair loss medications on the market to slow down male pattern baldness is finasteride, also known as Propecia. Finasteride works by blocking testosterone from converting into DHT. Studies show that up to 86% of people using 1mg of finasteride daily did not experience any more hair loss since the start of the prescription. Despite the effectiveness of finasteride, many people over the years have complained of numerous side effects, ranging from sexual problems such as erectile dysfunction and low libido to even depression. Finasteride is such a great drug for balding males but many have been turned off by it’s many side effects. I’ve been taking finasteride since my first hair transplant in Nov. 2016 and have yet to have any side effects. In this video, I will try to explain how you can take finasteride without having any side effects. Please note that I do not have any side effects from finasteride and the following information is from research that i have gathered online and from other user’s personal experience with finasteride. also, Before trying any of the following methods, please make sure to first consult with your doctor for proper medical advice. 1. Some users of finasteride claim that lowering the dosage from 1mg to 0.2mg has reduced or eliminated the side effects of finasteride. An medical study by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) revealed that taking finasteride at dosages of 0.2mg/day or higher was still effective in treating male pattern baldness, although it wasn’t as effective as taking the 1mg pill. this will lower the efficacy of the drug, but many will agree that something is always better than nothing. I’ll leave the link to the scientific study so that you can read about it if interested. 2. For those individuals who have been looking for a safer way to take finasteride, a topical form is now available. Many claim that it halts the progression of male pattern baldness effectively, with little chance of any unwanted side effects due to the minimal absorption into the rest of the body. The only bad thing is that finasteride is not as easily available to find in topical solution. However, customers in Canada can obtain a prescription for topical finasteride from hair transplant surgery Hasson&Wong, or if you based in Europe, you can purchase it online. 3. Finasteride works by eliminating testosterone from converting to DHT. If we eliminate DHT, it gives the body a chance for estrogen to dominate, which causes hormonal imbalances that may actually be the cause of unwanted side effects from taking finasteride, not from the drug itself. If a male’s estrogen level goes out of range, this can cause symptoms such as erectile dysfunction, low libido, depression, etc. The key here is to ensure that estrogen does not increase. Zinc has been known to prevent the conversion of testosterone to estrogen. Calcium D Glucarate also removes excess estrogen from the body. Indole-3-Carbinol is another strong excess estrogen eliminator that is found in veggies such as broccoli. Finasteride dosage scientific study: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10495375 =========================== Welcome to my Youtube channel Hairliciously. Finasteride 1mg/day (generic brand for Propecia/Proscar) - Finasteride is approved by the FDA for male pattern baldness and is effective in slowing hair loss for men. 2. Biotin 10,000mcg/day - Biotin is effective in thickening hair, nails, and beautifying the skin. I've noticed thicker and stronger hair after using Biotin for the past few months. 3. Vitamin D 3,000IU/day - Vitamin D helps maintain a healthy body 4. Minoxidil (Rogaine) - Minoxidil slows hair loss progression and promotes hair regrowth. I've noticed that using Minoxidil helped me grow my transplanted hairs a lot more quicker.
