Using hands, shape meatballs & place on parchment lined baking sheet. Bake at 375ºF for 25-30 min, or until golden & cooked through. Glaze with remaining hoisin sauce Red Cabbage & Carrot Slaw 1 small red cabbage, shredded 4 carrots, julienned or shredded ½ red onion, diced 3 tbsp olive oil 3 tbsp white wine vinegar 1 tbsp honey Salt & pepper In a large bowl, mix together cabbage, carrots & onion. Season with oil, vinegar, honey & salt & pepper Brown rice Lime & Cilantro garnish Menu 2 Fajita Chicken 2 red bell pepper, sliced 2 orange bell pepper, sliced 1 red onion, sliced 4 chicken breasts, cut into strips 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tbsp chili powder 1 tsp cumin 1 tsp paprika 1 tsp onion powder ½ tsp dried oregano Salt & pepper Oil In a small bowl, whisk together spices & set aside. In a large pan over med-high heat, add peppers, onion & chicken. Season with spices. Cook, stirring occasionally until cooked through. Black Bean & Corn Salsa 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained 1 cup corn kernels, cooked 1 red pepper, diced ½ red onion, diced 1 lime, zest and juice 1 tsp chili powder ¼ cup cilantro, chopped Salt & pepper Cilantro Lime Rice 1 cup white rice 2 cups water 1 garlic clove, minced 2 limes, zest and juice ¼ cup cilantro, chopped Salt & pepper In a medium saucepan, bring rice, water & garlic to a boil over med-high heat. Reduce to low, cover & simmer for 10 min. Turn off heat & let rest, covered, for 5 min. Stir in lime juice & cilantro. Menu 3 Greek Chicken 4 chicken breasts ½ lemon, zest and juice 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp dried oregano Salt & pepper Place chicken on nonstick or parchment lined baking sheet. Season with lemon zest & juice, garlic powder, oregano, & salt & pepper. Bake at 375ºF for 15-20 min, or until chicken is cooked through Cucumber & Tomatoes with Feta 2 cups cucumber, diced 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved ½ cup feta, crumbled 2 tbsp dill, chopped 1 tsp greek seasoning 3 tbsp oil 2 tbsp red wine vinegar Salt & pepper Tzatziki 1 cup plain Greek yogurt 1 cucumber 1-2 garlic cloves, grated ½ lemon, zest and juice ¼ cup dill, chopped Salt & pepper Peel, seed & grate cucumber. Using a clean kitchen towel, squeeze out excess water. In a med bowl, combine greek yogurt, cucumber, garlic, lemon zest & juice, dill & salt & pepper Cooked Quinoa Menu 4 Lemon Dill Salmon 4 6oz salmon fillets 1 tsp garlic powder 2 tbsp dill, chopped Salt & pepper to taste. 1 lemon, sliced (with rind on) Season salmon with dill & salt and pepper to taste. Place on nonstick or parchment lined baking sheet & top with lemon slices. Bake at 375ºF for 10-12 min, or until salmon is cooked through. Steamed Broccoli & Asparagus 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed & cut into thirds 1 broccoli crown, cut into florets Heat 1 inch of water in a large pot. Combine veggies in a steamer basket. Steam for 5-7 min or until vegetables turn bright green but still retain some of their crispness. Run under cool water to prevent further cooking White Rice with Parsley 1 cup white rice 2 cups water 1 garlic clove, grated Salt & pepper ¼ cup parsley, chopped ½ lemon, juiced In a med saucepan, bring rice & water to a boil over med-high heat. Reduce to low, cover & simmer for 10 min. Turn off heat and let rest, covered, for 5 min. Stir in garlic, parsley & lemon juice. Season with salt & pepper Menu 5 Garlic Shrimp 1lb shrimp, peeled 3 garlic cloves, minced ¼ tsp chili flakes (optional) Salt & pepper oil In a large skillet over med-high heat add oil. Add shrimp & cook for 2-3 min. Add garlic & season with salt & pepper to taste. Continue to cook, stirring occasionally until shrimp is cooked through. Green Beans 2 lbs green beans, tips removed In a large pot with 1 inch of water & a steamer basket, bring to a boil. Add beans to basket and cover. Cook for 5-7 min, or until beans are cooked to your liking. Run under cold water to stop cooking Chinese Fried Quinoa 2 cups quinoa, cooked 1 small onion, diced 1 garlic clove, minced 1 cup frozen peas and carrots 2 eggs, beaten (optional) 1-2 tbsp soy sauce oil In a large wok or skillet, heat oil over high heat. Add onion & carrots & cook for 3-4 min. Add peas, carrots & garlic & cook for another min. Push veggies to one side of the pan and scramble eggs on the opposite side. I tried the Wim Hof Breathing & Cold Therapy Method for 7 Days. The results are pretty profound, but not in the way I expected it. The method is pretty intense and extreme. Will I continue doing this? Is it safe? Is this just a fad or is this a proven method? The Wim Hof Method includes breathing exercises, cold therapy, some strength building exercises (push ups) and a special stretching technique. It's a widely followed technique and the popularity is growing. My interest in this technique started when I was fed up with winter and wanted to see what my body was capable of. I'm an Australian living in Iceland and I don't want to be afraid of the cold. And so my journey of discovery has begun. Warning: This is a VERY dangerous technique if not followed properly. Never do the breathing exercises whilst standing up, driving or underwater. Why are you swinging that ball of metal around? Doesn't that hurt your back? Can A kettlebell workout really get you results? Questions I am asked all the time. Yes, you can definitely injure yourself if you are not careful with these types of weights. It works off your momentum which can lead to injury if your not careful with your movements. However, with practice, you can also get in the best shape of your life utilizing this specific piece of machinery for a complete full body workout. Form is everything Strategically placing the weight at certain heights will improve your strength in endurance and in your stability muscles that you may miss out on with barbells. An excellent example is the Squat and Hold. You start by gripping the handle of the kettle bell with the ball towards the ground. Keeping your feet about shoulder width apart, lower yourself into a squat position bringing your hips back as far as possible. Use the kettle bell to counter balance the weight for a deeper squat. Once you lower yourself into a squat hold for 3 seconds, driving your heels into the ground. Come back to the start position and do it again. If you want to see it in action, click the video below. The Secret to Success Light weight is key. If you are new to this equipment, you don't have to show off. You may be shocked about the way your muscles feel after the workout because these workouts can be quiet intense. One size fits all. You don't have to invest in a line of kettlebells. I recommend getting 3 sizes, from light weight to moderate then heavy for when you get stronger. In one fluid motion, stand up straight as you pull kettlebell up to left shoulder and rotate weight with wrist, ending with palm facing in toward chest. Lower to start Lunge and Row: hold kettlebell in one hand. Step opposite leg forward, bending knees into a shallow lunge. Rest arm on front thigh, and hinge forward at hip, maintaining a flat back. Lift kettlebell to chest level keeping elbow close to side Kettlebell Swing: Grab the kettlebell with both hands. Bend knees slightly, hinge forward at hips and swing kettlebell between legs. Use momentum from hips to swing weight to chest height. ATTENTION: You should consult your physician or other health care professional before starting this or any other fitness program to determine if it is right for your needs. This is particularly true if you (or your family) have a history of high blood pressure or heart disease, or if you have ever experienced chest pain when exercising or have experienced chest pain in the past month when not engaged in physical activity, smoke, have high cholesterol, are obese, or have a bone or joint problem that could be made worse by a change in physical activity. Do not start this fitness program if your physician or health care provider advises against it. If you experience faintness, dizziness, pain or shortness of breath at any time while exercising you should stop immediately.

Box 17963 Chicago IL 60617 "Saddlebags" are an optical illusion, an underdeveloped area just under your tush where the back of your thigh (your hamstring) “ties into” your glutes. We call this area the "glute-hamstring tie-in." When the muscles of this area are underdeveloped, the area becomes soft, fat accumulates, and it falls outward to the side, causing the appearance of what people refer to as "saddlebags." The solution here is to strengthen the muscles that lay under the body fat in this region. This makes the corresponding muscle stronger and more metabolically active, thereby pulling up and inward on the area. Muscle is also a great way to combat extra body fat. Workout : 2 Sets | 30 Seconds Reps | 15 Second Break 1. Inner Thigh Leg Lift 2. Squat and Lateral Raise 3. Doggy Style (Fire Hydrant) 4. Clam Shell How To: -Inner Thigh Leg Raise: Lying on your side, lengthen your bottom leg and cross your top leg over it. Rest either your knee or foot on the floor. Prop your head up with your hand, or rest your head on your arm. As you exhale, lift your bottom leg up, and inhale as you lower it back down. Your torso should stay still while you do this. Do AMAP reps, then repeat on the other side. -Doggy Style (Fire Hydrant) Position yourself on your hands and knees on the ground. This will be your starting position. Keeping the knee in a bent position, abduct the femur, moving your knee away from the midline of the body. Pause at the top of the motion, and then slowly return to the starting position. Perform this slowly for a number of repetitions, and repeat on the other side. -Clam Shell Keep the spine in a neutral position – neither arched or hunched. Keep the hips stacked vertically one on top of the other, and perfectly still while you perform this movement. This ensures the glutes provide the movement, not the hips. Slow, controlled movement while maintaining a mental focus on the butt muscles will make this exercise most effective. Squeeze the glutes and pause for a moment at the top of the movement to work the butt even more. -Squat and Lateral Leg Lift Stand with your feet shoulder-width distance apart, feet parallel. Hold your hands out in front of you for balance. Bend your knees, lowering your hips deeply so your thighs are parallel with the floor, keeping your weight back in your heels. Then rise back up, straightening the legs completely and lifting the left leg out to the side, squeezing the outer glute. As you step the foot back into shoulder-width distance position, squat down again. Then stand up and do a side leg lift on the right side. Lower the leg back to the starting position. This counts as one rep. Here are 7 more tips to lose weight even faster: Eat a high-protein breakfast. Avoid sugary drinks and fruit juice. Drink water a half hour before meals. Eat soluble fiber. Drink coffee or tea. (hold the sugar) Eat mostly whole, unprocessed foods. Eat your food slowly. These three principal classes crossed fertilized between themselves resulting in countless varieties that are beginning to gain ground in consumer markets. In 1935 a new variety of avocado called “Hass” was patented in the United States, in California. The fruit is initially green; when it is mature and suitable for consumption, it´s a very dark purple, almost black. It has rough skin and yellow flesh and its flavour is similar to that of dried fruit. This variety is relatively smaller than the rest of the varieties that are marketed, but has a higher proportion of pulp. It is known as the heart fruit, not only because of its similarity to this vital organ, but also because its oils help to reduce cholesterol and protect the cardio-vascular system. It is rich in vegetable fat which provides the body with vitamins E, A, B1, B2, B3, fatty acids, proteins and minerals. Most importantly it has high potassium content, more than 60% than that of a normal fruit. The avocado has more dietary fibre than any other fruit. It is rich in vitamin B and high in folic acid, it is especially important during pregnancy, as this acid is responsible for the formation of the neural tube of the baby. It also has a lot of glutamine, an antioxidant that serves to capture free radicals that can damage our bodies. But, without a doubt, its dominant feature is the quantity and quality of its monounsaturated fats, popularly known as good fats, such as olive oil, which helps to reduce bad cholesterol and increase the good, helping to protect the heart. It is extremely rich in the three antioxidant vitamins that fight against the free radicals, cancer (A, C and E), premature aging and heart disease. This fruit is suitable for people with high cholesterol and diabetes. TROPS is a cooperative association; a partnership of farmers and producers of fruit and vegetables. Established in 1979, the group's main activity is to sell fruit directly from the farmers to the consumer, bypassing intermediaries. This society has established itself as a company leader in the marketing of Spanish tropical fruit both organic and conventional. TROPS specialises in avocados and mangos, but also sells custard apples, litchies, carambolas, kumquats, loquats (nisperos) and aromatic herbs like parsley and coriander. In the last ten years the company has gone from having 300 partners to more than 1800 from Portugal to Alicante. As a society the company offers direct advice to the farmer, training, provision of appropriate fertilisers and pesticides, research, proper handling of the fruit, distribution and technical and financial support. The main social objective of TROPS is to maximize the profit and production of the farms in the short, medium and long term in a sustainable environment; making sure to always give good value to the consumer and to the farmer. The land is of exceptional agricultural value and together with the ability of the farmer and the excellent phytosanitary conditions, Southern Spain ranks as the number one mango producer in Europe. This, coupled with rigorous quality and hygiene procedures, gives us a fresh and tasty product which keeps all its nutritional properties. TROPS tracks the fruit from the farmer to the consumer and in this way ensures the quality of the fruit 100%. It also has all certificates required by law to sell in any European market. TROPS annual production is made up by 57% mangos and 28% avocados and 60% of this is organic, supplying more than 22 countries. Mangos have been cultivated in India for over 4000 years. From the sixteenth century on, this fruit has been gradually distributed around the world coming to Europe on Portuguese merchant ships. The mango is universally considered as one of the most significant and exquisite fruits in the tropical and subtropical parts of the world. The growth in the areas destined for this crop and the improvement in the methods of handling and shipping have increased their popularity and availability in the international market.

No worries, I have the best way to cook oatmeal that will turn the hardest of critics into a fan! Not to mention how healthy it is to have a bowl of oatmeal everyday, but to do so, it helps that it tastes great! Okay, so "The Best Oatmeal Ever" might be just my own opinion, because I know there are a lot of people who don't like the taste of oatmeal mainly because of it's bland taste. I used to think the same way until I tried Quaker Oats old fashioned oatmeal the way you see me cook the oatmeal in this video, and from then on I've been hooked. To me it is the "best oatmeal ever"! So I hope you learn my secret and learn to enjoy oatmeal the way I do. The way I cook oatmeal gives it a whole new meaning to lumpy oatmeal. Everyone has different preferences in how they like their oatmeal and how to cook their oatmeal. Whole discussions will ensue on how oatmeal should be eaten. But not a lot of talk on how to cook oatmeal. Why? Well, because how to cook oatmeal should be a given. Probably one of the simplest way to cook anything. Just add water and let the oatmeal cook for a few minutes and add a whole lot of other stuff (sugar, salt, syrup, cinnamon, etc) to hide the flavor, and that's it! Right? Wrong!! How to cook the best oatmeal ever takes a whole new way to cooking oatmeal. To cook oatmeal takes about five minutes and a careful eye to make sure you cook the oatmeal just right. After that, you can add any combination of healthy fruit of your liking, even nuts, which is my favorite, for a completely delicious breakfast. This is the way how I cook the best oatmeal ever: 1 1/2 cups of water 3/4 cup of Quaker Oats Old Fashioned Oat Meal Optional: 1 banana and a handful of blueberries First pour 1 1/2 cup of water in a medium size pan and let it boil. When water boils, add 3/4 cup of Quaker Oats Old Fashioned Oatmeal, stir it just to soak it into the water. Let it cook for about a minute and a half, or until the foam gets too high in the pan. Just as a side note: I only use Quaker Oats Old Fashioned Oatmeal, because it is the only oatmeal that will, once cooked, have the texture that makes the best oatmeal ever. After a minute and a half stir it a few times just to move things around a bit, and let it cook for another minute or so, then start stirring it until you start seeing the bottom of the pan each time your stirring utensil goes through the oatmeal. Once you start seeing that happen, then it becomes your preference on how you like your oatmeal; you can make it as dry as you want or leave it that way because at this point, you just have cooked the best oatmeal ever! Personally, I like it on the dryer side. Then I add a banana, which I split into four long strips and then chop it in bits to give me the maximum amount to little bits of banana through out my oatmeal. I also add blueberries. Sometimes I'll add almonds, which is also awesome. And there you have it! How to cook the best oatmeal ever! Probably one of the best breakfast food you'll ever have in a daily basis. How to get a Flat Tummy Quick and Easy! A flat tummy is easy to achieve if you take the right steps in no particular order. In the process, remember there isn't a miracle drug and nothing is going to happen overnight. Consistency is key! Give yourself a month to stay dedicated and watch the results roll right in.
