Reliance Large Cap Fund Detail ANALYSIS | Best Large Cap Funds | Top Large Cap Mutual Funds
Reliance Large Cap Fund (Reliance Top 200)Earlier predominantly invested in Top 200 companies now will be an open ended scheme investing in Large Cap Companies (predominantly in 1st to 100th Company in terms of MCap) Reliance Top 200 Fund (AUM: Rs10,126 crore ) Now Reliance Large Cap Fund 1) A shift in mandate from the top 200 listed stocks by market capitalisation to the top 100 is drastic 2) It makes the fund a much more large cap one. Its previous mandate allows its equity component (65-100% of total) to be invested in companies falling in the S&P BSE 200 Index. 3) The new mandate will hike the equity component to 80-100% and require that 80% be confined to India’s top 100 companies by market capitalisation. In other words, the fund can become more equity-heavy and more large-cap heavy. CHANGE IN PORTFOLIO ? 1) The fund, even at present, has exposure to large caps (as defined by SEBI) greater than 80%. Hence, there is absolutely no change in the positioning of the fund 2) The Fund had to be renamed, since Top 200 is not aligned to SEBI’s definition of large-cap, which is based on Top 100 Suitability of Reliance Large Cap Fund Large-cap oriented funds are better poised to handle market volatility vis-à-vis mid-and-small caps. Stable businesses, greater market share, quality of management and the sustainability prospects are factors that seem convincing to take exposure to large-caps at the current level. Reliance Large Cap Fund has been amongst the few large-cap funds that take opportunistic allocation to mid-caps, to generate higher alpha. However, with the revision in its investment mandate and universe the fund may go slow on its mid cap bets. It will be interesting to see, if the fund can still sustain the alpha over the benchmark in momentum driven markets. Given the funds exposure is heavily skewed towards index heavyweights, the returns of the fund could be expected to be broadly in line with the benchmark. However, the active management and selection of weightage in the stocks may lead to margin of deviation in performance over the index To umeed hai apko ye video pasand ayegi Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/MARKETMAESTROO Twitter : https://twitter.com/marketmaestroo Youtube : https://Youtube.com/marketmaestroo For any BUSINESS INQUIRY - marketmaestroo@gmail.com

The Advantages of Investing in Small Cap Stocks
You can download a free list of Russell 2000 stocks here: https://www.suredividend.com/russell-2000-stocks/ Many investors focus on large-capitalization stocks, which are loosely defined as stocks with more than $10 billion of market capitalization. While this strategy works for most, it has the effect of artificially narrowing your investment universe. Moreover, the rise of online brokers, index funds, and other passive investment products has made it easier than ever to invest in small cap stocks. In this video, I explain the advantages of investing in small cap stocks. What are Small Cap Stocks? To begin, let’s talk about the definition of a small-cap stock. Small cap stocks are defined as stocks with market capitalizations between $250 million and $2 billion. Stocks that are smaller than this are called microcaps or nanocaps, while stocks that are larger than this are called midcaps or largecaps. ------------------------------------------------------ Reason #1: A Broader Investment Universe The first reason why investing in small-cap stocks is attractive is because of the sheer number of companies that dwell in the small-cap space. This is appealing from the perspective of diversification, and also because it allows you to be more selective when hunting for investment opportunities. For evidence of this broader investment universe, consider the major market indices for large-cap and small-cap stocks. The main index for small-caps is the Russell 2000, which contains about 2000 companies. The main index for large-cap stocks is the S&P 500, which contains about 500 companies. Said another way, the small-cap stock universe contains about four times as many companies as its large-cap counterpart. ------------------------------------------------------ Reason #2: A Less Efficient Market Small-cap stocks receive much less attention from the financial markets. They receive less analyst coverage and less consideration from the media. What this means for investors is that small-cap stocks can remain quite mispriced for prolonged periods of time. When large-cap stocks become disconnected from their intrinsic value, investors quickly take notice. This is not the case in small-cap stocks, which creates opportunities for self-directed investors to acquire shares below their intrinsic value and profit from potential valuation expansion. ------------------------------------------------------ Reason #3: No Institutional Ownership On the surface, it may not be clear why a lack of institutional ownership in small-cap stocks is beneficial for self-directed investors. It comes down to the fundamental principles of supply and demand. When institutions begin to buy a stock – particularly a small-cap stock – it creates significant buying pressure in the market. This increases stock prices. As we know, higher prices result in lower future returns, all else being equal. Small-cap stocks do not have this problem. They are outside the realm of most institutional investors, which creates more favorable prices for investors that are willing to venture into this space. In fact, one of the “sweet spots” of investing is when a small-cap business grows to the point that it is included in some of the major market indices. This means that a great number of ETF providers and other passive investment products are forced to buy the stock, which drives its price higher. A recent example occurred when it was announced that Walgreens was joining the Dow Jones Industrial Average. Walgreens’ stock rose by 4% on the day of the announcement. ------------------------------------------------------ Reason #4: Small-Cap Stocks Naturally Have More Upside Some of the best gains that are available in the stock market are when investors can purchase shares in an attractively-valued business, and then that business sustains a high growth rate for a very long period of time. In fact, each of the world’s largest businesses grew to their current size by following this blueprint. However, large companies are limited in how much they can grow. Apple has a market cap of nearly $1 trillion dollars. It is unlikely that the company will double in size over the next several years. Instead, shareholder returns will come from dividend payments, share repurchases, and perhaps some modest business growth. Small cap stocks have a completely different total return profile. Their growth potential is much greater, which often creates spectacular returns for investors that have the ability to recognize these businesses early. If you do not have this ability, passive funds that track the Russell 2000 index will also capture this growth.

MY #5 FAVORITE DIVIDEND STOCK OF ALL TIME (I surprised myself with this stock pick!)
I am about to reveal my #5 favorite dividend growth stock of all time. I actually had a really difficult time choosing this particular stock pick. I was able to narrow down the selection to a variety of Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) companies that I own: Procter & Gamble (PG), Kimberly-Clark (KMB), Unilever (UL), Clorox (CLX), and Colgate (CL). While I was able to dismiss Colgate from the list quickly, I had a difficult time choosing amongst the others. Today's video shows my exact thought process in choosing my favorite investment out of these stocks. First, some background. Here are my top four favorite dividend stocks of all time: 1) Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) 2) PepsiCo (PEP) 3) McDonald's (MCD) 4) United Technology (UTX) Given my top four, I knew that my fifth must be a consumer staple company. Everyone has been wondering what my #5 is, so I'm excited to share my thought process today in how I finally determined the right stock. (My final conclusion totally surprised myself.) More than anything, I really needed to do this analysis for myself. I want to clearly reassess my personal dividend stock portfolio in 2018 so I know exactly where I should be prioritizing my time and focus in coming years. While I love owning 38 stocks, I also want to really focus my effort on my favorites. Comparing all of the consumer non-cyclical CPG companies I own, today's video covers a to of topics: * Starting yield - Helps give an overall picture of how the companies stack up. * Dividend growth rate - I want to utilize dividends (true passive income) to pay my bills. The dividend growth rate is everything to me (as long as it's sustainable). Unfortunately, this sector has been plagued with some shorter term pressures on dividend growth rate, so this particular analysis is really important. * Market Capitalization - Given that my first four stock picks are large mega caps, I wanted my number five to be a bit smaller. * International Exposure - I love companies that have solid international exposure. * Revenue and Operating Profit - During these difficult times, which of these companies are actually growing? At the end of this matrix analysis, I finally determined my #5 favorite stock of all time - Clorox (CLX). I totally surprised myself. I am way up on this stock and have not been adding much in recent years. It's time to reframe my thought process on this stock, although I will not be buying just yet (really expensive here). Stay tuned - In my next video, I will go into a ton of depth on this particular stock. Although, today's video does showcase my favorite Clorox products. I love to invest in the companies that make a difference in my life. DIVIDEND INVESTING MEET-UP ALERT: Want to meet me (and other PPC Ian community members) in-person? U.S. equity outlook—see our case for long large caps, short small caps
Valuations for U.S. small-cap stocks are too high compared with their large-cap counterparts, says Adam C. Rudd, CFA, investment director at Standard Life Investments. He walks through the team’s U.S. equity relative value strategy of obtaining long exposure to large caps and shorting small caps, which are more vulnerable to the wage growth, inflation, and interest-rate pressures that tend to mount as the business cycle matures. Top 3 Healthcare Penny Stocks To Watch
Top 3 Healthcare Penny Stocks To Watch ------------------------------------------------------------------- The healthcare industry can be precarious for stocks of large companies, much less penny stocks. Nevertheless, smaller companies that capture a niche can grow much faster than large caps. That higher reward potential comes with higher risk. Of course, small-cap healthcare companies can be nudged out of the market by big competitors, and they can simply become unable to service debt when products and services don't sell quickly enough. All of this makes the small-cap healthcare stalwarts on this list more attractive. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Disclaimer : My videos, presentations, and writing are only for educationals / entertainment purposes, and are not intended as investment advice. Small Cap Mutual Funds | Small Cap Funds for 2018 | Mutual Fund Review | Small Cap Mutual Fund Schemes According to the new SEBI’s guidelines, small cap funds can now invest in any company that falls after 250th in the market capitalization list. Small Caps versus Blue Chip Stocks
The major stocks or blue chips represent large companies and industry. http://www.contracts-for-difference.com/Smallcap-vs-blue-chip.html Usually there is another tier of corporate size, called the medium-cap stocks, and then small cap, which is the rest of the companies which have gone public. Even though they are called small or low cap, they can still be a reasonable size. There are several factors that affect your choice of large cap or small cap trading. When you first set out to trade with contracts for difference (CFDs) it can be very confusing, particularly if you have not done much trading of any sort before.

Microcap Stock Investing Mini Guide
If you've ever considered buying microcap stocks, you should watch this microcap stock investing guide first. In this video, I share a valuable tool to help you find microcap stock ideas, break down the pros and cons of investing in microcap stocks, and show you my own results when I bought my own microcap stock using value investing principles. This video shows a lot of performance history on various types of stocks, as well as showing a breakdown on some of the obvious differences between megacap and microcap stocks. Some of the variables considered (in real-time using a stock screener) include: --The volatility (using beta) difference between mega and micro caps --The obvious difference in liquidity between mega and micro caps I also show the microcap stock I purchased back in 2014 and show you the exact value investing variables that led me to purchase the stock. Then we track its performance since I bought it and compare it to the S&P 500. I talk about the viability of using value investing to buy and analyze microcap stocks and the effects of industry competition on any microcap stock. The video shows a look back on some of the most successful dividend paying stocks in the past 25 years and tries to determine whether they were micro cap, small cap, nano cap, or mid cap stocks at the beginning of their compounding journey. Finally, the video concludes with a screencast stock analysis of a microcap stock recommended by a subscriber, with my thoughts on whether it looks like a good buy based on its valuation, earnings and dividend track record. ===RESOURCES USED IN VIDEO=== http://finviz.com https://www.google.com/search?q=microcap+stocks& http://sec.gov http://valuetrapindicator.com https://www.google.com/finance https://einvestingforbeginners.com/dividend-investing-success-stories/ https://einvestingforbeginners.com/top-dividend-stocks/ http://cagrcalculator.net/result/ ===INVESTORS: WHAT TO DO NEXT=== --Subscribe to the YouTube Channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4TX... --Download the FREE Investing for Beginners EBOOK, which shows you 7 Steps to Understanding the Stock Market, here: http://stockmarketpdf.com --Check out the "How to Analyze Stocks Using Valuations" playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list... --Get quick stock market tips from me on Twitter: https://twitter.com/ValueTrapBlog --My personal Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/houseofsloth/

Here Are 5 Best Performing Mutual Funds To Invest In
Mutual funds are arguably the best investment options available for investors in terms of ease of investments and different risk/return paradigms available. For those looking for funds to invest in this year, here's a list of 5 best performing mutual funds in India: 1.ICICI Prudential Focused Bluechip Equity This is a pure large-cap fund. Given that mid-caps are overheated and likely to correct further, sticking to large-caps is a prudent move. Rolling ICICI Focused Bluechip’s returns for a three-year period over the past five years, the fund has been well ahead of both its benchmark and its category all the time. 2. Birla Sun Life Frontline Equity A quality large-cap fund, it beats the Nifty 100 index, the representative index for large-cap stocks, all the time in both the short-term and long-term. It is similarly consistent in beating category average. 3. Mirae Asset India Opportunities This fund is the best in its category in terms of consistency in beating the Nifty 500 index and category average. Its risk-adjusted return is also well above the category average. 4. Franklin India Prima Plus This fund is able to beat its category average and the Nifty 500 index almost all the time when 3-year returns are rolled over 5 years. It is especially good at containing downsides during market corrections. 5. Tata Balanced Rolling this fund’s 3-year returns over 5 years has it beating the CRISIL Balanced Fund – Aggressive index all the time by an average margin of 7 percentage points. Its risk-adjusted returns, though, hold strong above the category. Read More: http://www.financialexpress.com/money/10-best-performing-mutual-funds-to-invest-in-india-this-year/512455/

Large Iceberg Breaking near Ilulissat
Iceberg breaking up in the Ilulissat icefjord, close to an archaeological site called Sermermiut. **A quick note - some of the external links to this video have mixed information. To be more precise, this is a large iceberg breaking up, which had already calved from the icecap. The large ones often collect at the end of the fjord, where it is a bit shallower. The NASA image at the end of the video shows this a bit more clearly** For more information about the Ilulissat Icefjord: http://svs.gsfc.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/details.cgi?aid=3806 http://whc.unesco.org/en/list/1149 For any licensing requests please contact licensing@break.com

Mike's Friday Watch List: $STZ $NKE $SPY
FREE eBook: "How to Day Trade" | Download Now: http://webinar.warriortrading.com/signup $STZ (Constellation Brands, Inc. Class A) is going to be at the top of my list because of the range it can put in and it's technical support. We have major ascending support that intersects with the 200 day moving average. This stock could possibly fade below to 214.50. It's also a very volatile name and has the potential to move quickly. $NKE (Nike Inc) can run if the $SPY is strong. Watch for a move above pre-market highs. This stock also has an ascending support line going back twenty years! We are looking for stocks that we expect will move in a predictable direction. We want to take a position with a predefined stop level and profit target. Sounds easy right? In a lot of ways it is. But there are literally thousands of different strategies for trading the market. Every trader has a unique approach to trading. Our goal is to teach you our strategies. I have developed a series of profitable trading strategies for beginners. Our Trading Courses focus on the most fundamental aspects of a successful trade. // Chart Patterns After you understand risk management and proper stock selection, we teach you how to find stock patterns on charts. These patterns are how we base our risk and reward. We look for chart patterns that have well defined areas of support and resistance. We will use previous support levels as our stop price, or our risk, and we look at previous resistance areas as our initial profit target, or our reward. If the profit vs loss ratio is 2:1 we will take the trade. I teach both day trading strategies and swing trading strategies. For day trading we focus primarily on 5min charts while swing traders focus more on daily charts. The patterns in general are the same. I teach traders how to find patterns in real-time including Bull Flags, Bear Flags, Flat Tops, Flat Bottoms, and Rubber Band Reversal Setups. // Trading Strategies Learning risk management, proper stock selection, and chart patterns is important, but those alone don’t create a trading strategy. A trading strategy requires details on the time of day you take these trades, what type of stocks you like to trade, what percentage to success you expect. All our students are required to paper trade and prove to me that they can trade on a percentage of success that is high enough to justify real trading. If you can’t make money in a demo account, you have no business trading a real account. We have saved students hundreds of thousands of dollars by encouraging paper trading while they are learning. The market will be here for a long time to come. The important thing for you right now is to build up the skills to trade the market successfully. You will learn that once you possess the skills to consistently make $20.00/day all it takes to make $200 is larger share size. Then all it takes to make $2000 is again, larger share size. The hardest part is being consistently green just $20/day. So that is our initial target for all of our students. Profitable trading 4/5 days per week for at least 3 months. This Mushroom Starts Killing You Before You Even Realize It | Deep Look
Support Deep Look on Patreon!! https://www.patreon.com/deeplook The notorious death cap mushroom causes poisonings and deaths around the world. If you were to eat these unassuming greenish mushrooms by mistake, you wouldn’t know your liver is in trouble until several hours later. The death cap has been spreading across California. Can scientists find a way to stop it? SUBSCRIBE to Deep Look! http://goo.gl/8NwXqt DEEP LOOK: a new ultra-HD (4K) short video series created by KQED San Francisco and presented by PBS Digital Studios. See the unseen at the very edge of our visible world. Get a new perspective on our place in the universe and meet extraordinary new friends. Explore big scientific mysteries by going incredibly small. Find out more on KQED Science: http://ww2.kqed.org/science/2016/02/23/this-mushroom-starts-killing-you-before-you-even-realize-it/ Where do death cap mushrooms grow? In California, they grow mainly under coast live oaks. They have also been found under pines, and in Yosemite Valley under black oaks. Why do death caps grow under trees? As many fungi do, death cap mushrooms live off of trees, in what’s called a mycorrhizal relationship. They send filaments deep down to the trees’ roots, where they attach to the very thin root tips. The fungi absorb sugars from the trees and give them nutrients in exchange. Where do California’s death cap mushrooms come from? Biologist Anne Pringle, at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, has done research that shows that death caps likely snuck into California from Europe attached to the roots of imported plants, as early as 1938. How deadly are death cap mushrooms? Between 2010 and 2015, five people died in California and 57 became sick after eating the unassuming greenish mushrooms, according to the California Poison Control System. One mushroom cap is enough to kill a human being, and they’re also poisonous to dogs. Death caps are believed to be the number one cause of fatal mushroom poisonings worldwide. What happens if you eat a death cap mushroom? A toxin in the mushroom destroys your liver cells. Dr. Kent Olson, co-medical director of the San Francisco Division of the California Poison Control System, said that for the first six to 12 hours after they eat the mushroom, victims of the death cap feel fine. During that time, a toxin in the mushroom is quietly injuring their liver cells. Patients then develop severe abdominal pain, diarrhea and vomiting. “They can become very rapidly dehydrated from the fluid losses,” said Olson. Dehydration can cause kidney failure, which compounds the damage to the liver. For the most severe cases, the only way to save the patient is a liver transplant. Approximately 320 million tons of ore and over 700 million tons of waste rock were mined from the pit. 5. Mir Mine This is a diamond mine, and one of the largest excavations in history. This mine in Russia is the 2nd largest man made hole in the world. Located in outside of Mirny, a small town in Eastern Siberia, this place is 1,722 feet (525 meters) deep, and 3,900 feet (1.25 kilometers) across. 4. IceCube Neutrino Observatory There are many different ways to make holes in the Earth as you know, or will soon learn. But for the University of Wisconsin, they wanted to do a study of the Earth from a different perspective. They decided to go to Antarctica and drill a massive hole into the very ice caps of the Earth to see what's down there. Thus, the IceCube Neutrino Observatory was made. 3. Kimberley Diamond Mine Also known as the Big Hole, the Kimberly diamond mine in South Africa, is home to the world’s largest diamond mine! It is so large it is visible by space and has produced some of the world’s largest diamonds. 2. Bingham County Mine Also known as the Kennecott Copper Mine in Utah, this mine definitely takes the cake. This copper mine has been in use for over a century, and it's still open to this day. It's the biggest copper mine in the world and provides about 25% of the country’s copper needs. 1. Kola Superdeep Borehole Have you ever wondered what's at the center of the Earth? Fact is, no one really knows which is why the Kola Superdeep Borehole is so important. While the Bingham County Mine may be the largest manmade hole in the world, the Kola Superdeep Borehole is the deepest hole in the world! Spread betting on small cap stocks
Spreadex is a specialist in small cap shares. We offer one of the largest selections of AIM listed stocks in the industry. Small cap stocks often have a lower price, which makes them accessible to more traders. However, please note there is often a larger minimum stake size for shares with a price lower than 50p. Another thing to consider is that if you're making a trade on a less liquid stock, you might pay a wider market spread -- and guaranteed stops are not available. Read the market information sheet before you carry out your trade. We have some of the most competitive margin rates around for trading small caps with Notional Trading Requirements starting from 20% of nominal stock value. Our margin rates are a flat rate per particular stock and don't incorporate tiered rates of margin. Most of our spreads are listed on our website, but if you don't see the particular stock you want to trade, please call our financial room and we'll do our best to accommodate your request. We're happy to list shares with a market capitalization of as low as £1 million unlike many other spread betting providers. To give an example of a Non 350 Daily Share bet; if you placed a £200 buy of Physiomics with Spreadex at 0.30 and the market closed at 0.50 that day you would make £40 -- the 0.2 point difference from your winning bet, multiplied by your £200 stake. However, if the market had closed down at 0.2 you would have lost £20 -- the 0.1 point difference from your losing bet, multiplied by your £200 stake. http://www.spreadex.com http://www.spreadex.com/betting/Financial/online_share_trading.aspx

Stock Market Videos: European Fears Crush Market, Small Caps Win
The markets were slammed today on the back of fears from Europe. While Greece seems to be through the fire, all eyes are now on Italy, Spain and Portugal. As fears rise, the Euro tanks. As the Euro drops, the Dollar spikes higher, killing the markets. Banks are extremely weak today on credit default swap worries due to exposure in Europe. JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo and others are taking a sharp hit. Commodity stocks are also under pressure today with Chevron leading the fall. Fears over the global economy are surging again after Friday's jobs report and the issues with Europe. On the bright side, the long trades on China small caps are paying off nicely. SCEI, KNDI are both popping nicely. It is always a pleasure to be short large caps and the market yet be long on China small caps and make money on both sides. How to Lose Money in Cannabis.
"Some of the massive cannabis stocks will die and disappear. The global market simply is not large enough to justify the combined market caps of these stocks. Why? It’s a risk-return scenario and a lot of cannabis investors happily sit back chewing on a bag a Doritos instead of looking at the risks underlying the market and police involvement in Canada is a massive risk." States Peter Clausi in an interview with InvestorIntel Corp. CEO Tracy Weslosky. Tracy Weslosky: Today I have the pleasure of speaking with Peter Clausi about Canada's legalization of marijuana. How are you today Peter? Peter Clausi: Overall I am very pretty good but I am still confused about the process. Tracy Weslosky: Are you confused about the legalization process or what exactly are we talking about here? Peter Clausi: I have been calling for decriminalization for years. You knew it was coming. No reason why it shouldn’t have come but the Liberals have a done a terrible job in managing this process and as a result municipalities are unprepared, provinces are unprepared and most importantly police departments are unprepared. There is going to be a terrible social cost to the liberals mishandling of this process. Tracy Weslosky: I am going to ask you to dumb that down for some of us that are involved more specifically in investing in the cannabis sector. How is this going to impact cannabis stocks? Peter Clausi: You remember WorldCom? Too big to fail? It failed. How about Global Crossing? Too big to fail? It failed. Enron, the list goes on and on. Some of the massive cannabis stocks will die and disappear. The global market simply is not large enough to justify the combined market caps of these stocks. Why? It’s a risk-return scenario and a lot of cannabis investors happily sit back chewing on a bag a Doritos instead of looking at the risks underlying the market and police involvement in Canada is a massive risk...to access the complete interview, click here #CannabisInvesting #Cannabis #Marijuana
