Original Medicare is the Medicare parts A & B and D that we have detailed in previous videos. In this video we will talk about Medicare Advantage plans. In our next video of this series we will discuss Medicare Supplement or Medigap plans. You are only allowed a Medicare Supplement plan if you keep your Original Medicare. You cannot have a Medicare Supplement or Medigap plan and a Medicare Advantage plan at the same time. So, let’s talk about Medicare Advantage plans. 1. Medicare Advantage plans replace your Original Medicare. They are not supplements. They do not supplement or enhance your Medicare coverage, they replace it. (show book) When you choose a Medicare Advantage plan the benefits and appeals processes outlined in this guide are no longer relevant. You can throw this book away. Your benefits will be detailed in an “Evidence of Coverage” provided by the insurance company you choose to replace your Medicare, along with their “Annual Notice of Change”. You no longer need to show your doctor your red, white and blue Medicare card or Medicare number, you will have a new card provided to you by the insurance company. You can no longer appeal your benefits to Medicare. Medicare is out of the picture as far as your personal service in concerned. If you decide to appeal an insurance decision, you must appeal to the insurance company. 2. Medicare Advantage plans are typically HMOs or PPOs and on occasion a Private-Fee-for-Service plan. HMO stands for Health Maintenance Organization. PPO stands for Preferred Provider Organization. We will talk more about both of those in a minute. What is important to understand is that Medicare Advantage plans are not standardized, they are regulated to meet a certain minimum coverage. That is an important concept, so let me explain further. Medicare Part A & B is standardized. Medicare Supplement plans are standardized. Everyone in those plans receives the exact same benefits, they can see the exact same doctors and should have the exact same experience. With Medicare Advantage plans, each plan has different benefits, different co-pays, and deductibles, covers different medical services and has a different network of doctors and hospitals. Everyone’s experience is different and depends on which plan they have chosen. In additional; all the benefits, co-pays, deductibles and the doctors and hospitals in the network can and will change each and every year. It will be your responsibility to keep up with the changes via their mandatory Annual Notice of Change. It’s your responsibility to study this annual notice and determine how the changes may impact your healthcare. Medicare Advantage plans are regulated to meet a certain minimum standard. That minimum standard dictates that they must be actuarially equivalent to Medicare Parts A and Part B. That’s an interesting term “actuarially equivalent”. What does that mean? What Are The Best Medicare Supplement Plans (Medigap) In 2018?

08:32
Best Medicare supplement plans. Get a free quote: http://medicaresavingscenter.com or call 800-208-4974. This video explains what the best Medicare supplement plans are in 2018. There was a change in benefits for 2017 on the Medicare level; the Part B deductible went from $166 (in 2016) to $183 in 2017. This did affect all Medigap plans and not just the plans that don't cover the Part B deductible. The premiums on Plan F will have to increase to cover this change as the insurance companies will have to pay for the difference in benefit. In 2018, the best Medicare supplemental insurance plans are plan F, G and N. Plan G is the #1 plan with plan N and F as runner ups. If you are in CA or another state that has a birthday rule, then going with Plan F to start is usually a good idea. Please refer to my video about Medicare supplement plans in California if you are a resident there. The lower rates and most importantly lower rate increases on Plan G and N make these plans far more superior over Plan F. In almost every case the premium difference between F and G more than covers the only benefit difference which is $183 for the year. For example, the most you would pay out of pocket for the year with Plan G is $183 and the premium difference between F and G is almost always more than $183, thus saving you money. The best way to save money is to allow us to shop the rates for you and ensure you will not be overpaying for your supplement plan. IN addition, by being one of our clients you will have the benefit of annual rate reviews to ensure you will not be in the situation in the future where you are overpaying! As the rates go up over time, the best defense is a broker (us) who will shop the rate each year. Call us at 800-208-4974 for a FREE quote comparison. Our service is always free and the rates are exactly the same weather you go direct to the company or work with us. Frequently Asked Questions On Medicare Advantage Plans

18:06
Frequently Asked Questions On Medicare Advantage Plans Medicare pays a fixed amount for your care each month to the companies offering Medicare Advantage Plans. These companies must follow rules set by Medicare. However, each Medicare Advantage Plan can charge different out-of-pocket costs. Each plan can also have different rules for how you get services, like: • Whether you need a referral to see a specialist • If you have to go to doctors, facilities, or suppliers that belong to the plan for non-emergency or non-urgent care These rules can change each year. How To Compare Medicare Advantage Plans You want the broadest possible choice in doctors and other medical providers. More doctors and other providers accept original Medicare than private Medicare Advantage insurance. Private plans tend to be restricted to a home network, like an HMO doctor network. If you travel frequently, you may want to consider staying with original Medicare for this reason. Medicare Advantage Plans Compared (verus) To Medigap/Supplements With a Medicare Midigap/Supplement you will continue to be covered by original Medicare. After Medicare has paid your claims, it will automatically forward them to your Medigap plan. The Medigap plan will then pay its portion of the bill. Medigap plans do not cover prescription drugs. Therefore you must also purchase a stand-alone Part D plan if you want drug coverage. With a Medicare Advantage plan, you continue to pay your Part B premium as usual. You may also pay an extra premium for the plan. You are not allowed to have a Medigap and Medicare Advantage plan simultaneously. Medicare Advantage plans typically come with deductibles and co-pays. But unlike original Medicare, they have an annual out-of-pocket limit. That means that once you have paid deductibles and co-pays that add up to the annual out-of-pocket limit, the plan will pay 100 percent of your medical bills for the rest of the year. Medicare Advantage Plans With Zero Premium If you can't afford or don't want to pay additional monthly premiums. Medicare Advantage plans, like other private health plans, typically charge premiums. The recent average was about $30 a month for an HMO and $32 to $63 for a PPO, Medicare Advantage Plans Under 65 If you are under 65 but have Medicare because of a disability or other qualifying condition, after 2 years of disability you have the blanket right to buy a medicare plan guaranteed issue and a Medicare Advantage Plan. Coverage while traveling. Many plans will only pay for emergency care when you are away from home. If you divide your time between two homes or pay extended visits to your adult children, this could pose a problem if you need something routine such as a lab test. A few plans have national networks you can use, but you can't see this information on Medicare.gov. You will have to call the plan directly to ask about it. The plan's listing on Medicare.gov has numbers for you to call. Which Medicare Advantage Plan To Choose The first thing to do is make sure you are seeing all the plans in your area. Does the plan have a good star rating? What are the Co-pays, Deductibles, out of pocket limit? Is your Hospital & doctors in the networks list of providers? Does it offer dental and vision coverage and additional benefits? Medicare Advantage Plans With Dental Dental coverage through Medicare Advantage plan. You may be able to get dental coverage under some Medicare Advantage plans. Medicare Advantage plans (Medicare Part C) can include extra benefits like routine dental, routine vision, and Medicare prescription drug coverage. Medicare Advantage Plans With Dental & Vision coverage. Many Advantage plans come with some dental and vision coverage Medicare Advantage Plans With Silver Sneakers SilverSneakers is the premier fitness program provided at no cost by more than 60 health plans nationwide. Millions of members. Thousands of gyms. Medicare Advantage Plans With Nationwide Coverage If you divide your time between two homes or pay extended visits to your adult children, this could pose a problem if you need something routine such as a lab test. A few plans have national networks you can use Enrollment Periods If you decide to buy a Medicare Advantage plan, you must enroll between Oct. 15 and Dec. 7 – the period known as open enrollment – in order for your coverage to start the first of the following year. (Original Medicare has separate enrollment periods for seniors who aren't automatically enrolled.) Because of government regulation, Medicare Advantage premiums are not influenced by age, health status or the method by which a consumer signs up (through an insurance agent, for example, or directly through an insurer).

Medicare supplement plans vs. Medicare advantage plans

05:27
-------- Click link ----- http://Medigaplist.com Medicare supplement plans vs. Medicare advantage plans are a typical topic that people research for while using Google or Bing. In this video I talk about the difference between Medigap plans and Medicare advantage plans. Medicare supplement plans vs. Medicare advantage plans can be a confusing comparison because you are really talking about oranges and apples. Medicare supplement plans are always labeled with a letter like Medicare supplemental plan F or Medicare supplement plan G. The Medicare advantage plans will not have a letter label unless someone points out they are also called Medicare Part C. Medicare supplements vs. Medicare advantage plans are easy to compare because of the upfront payment or out of pocket costs when you use them. A Medicare supplemental plan F doesn't have any out of pocket costs and a Medicare advantage has all the out of pocket costs. The Medicare supplemental plan F might have a premium every month of $200 but doesn't have a co pay or deductible cost. The Medicare advantage plan might have a "0" premium but has an out of pocket cost of $6700 a year. Medigap plans are always known to be better coverage with no networks and the Medicare advantage plans are always cheaper. When you speak to AARP or Humana ask them if it is a Medigap plan F you are looking at or a Medicare advantage plan HMO or PPO. Medicare Advantage - Overview - 877-88KEITH (53484)

What is Medicare Advantage? Complete Medicare Resource Center here: http://www.medsupsavings.com/ 877-88KEITH (53484) Medicare Advantage Plans and Important Points You Must Know Medicare advantage plans help consumers pay for related services through private plan options chosen by the consumer. Also known as Part C there is some confusion about how it is used and classified. Advantage plans are available through private companies approved by Medicare. They are network plans featuring PPO and HMO service options. There are different plans that offer different levels of coverage and they can include a wide range of services. This is a popular option since people can choose their doctor and hospital, as long as they are in network with your plan. Here is a list of points to help you understand Medicare advantage plans in further detail. • This plan is available to those who enroll in Medicare. It is used with Part A and Part B. When you use these plans you have the same protection and rights as a Medicare recipient. • Enrollment for this coverage is done on an annual basis. There are specific times during the year to sign up for coverage. This could occur prior to turning 65 years old, if you enroll at the beginning of the year for Part A or B, or if you have a disability while being under age 65. If you have a preexisting condition you may still qualify for coverage. • You can learn services covered with the plan before getting the service. This helps you save of costs and you have an idea of what you may be responsible for when the service is completed. • Check your plan before seeing a specialist to ensure their services are part of network coverage. You will be responsible for paying related costs not covered by your plan. You plan may have rules in place you should follow regarding referrals. • If you use an HMO (health maintenance organization) or PPO (preferred provider organization) your costs may be higher if related services are not covered in your plan. This includes services through health care provider or doctor. You could pay more for services if they are not in network. • Even though you can choose a provider part of your plan’s network, they can choose to leave the network anytime. The plan can also make changes to providers offering care in your network. This means you will need to consider another provider when they decide to leave. • Costs related to clinical research studies may be covered. You will need to review plan details carefully or contact your plan for additional details on what, if anything, is covered. • Certain costs related to Medicare Advantage Plans should not exceed costs found in Part A and Part B coverage. This may include skilled nursing services and dialysis for example. • The Advantage plan will pay for all medical costs after you satisfy out-of-pocket costs for the year. The amount of out-of-pocket costs varies by plan and what you pay is based on your needs and income. • You have the option to select another Medicare plan if the plan you select through the Advantage plans changes or is no longer part of Medicare. ================================================== QUICK AND EASY MEDICARE SUPPLEMENT QUOTES http://www.medsupsavings.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Med-Sup-Savings/1709195569306815 Twitter: https://twitter.com/MedSupSavings LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/pub/keith-armbrecht/5/11b/3a0 YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/BigHealthGreatWealth

Medicare Annual Wellness Visit Information For You

05:07
Go To http://www.InsuredMeds.com for FREE Quotes & Info Medicare Annual Wellness Visit Information For You If Medicare covers you, you have a number of free preventive care services available to you to promote your health and wellbeing. All Medicare beneficiaries are eligible for an annual wellness visit, a yearly appointment with your health care provider to update or develop a five to 10-year prevention schedule based on your needs. If you have been receiving Medicare Part B benefits for at least 12 months and have not had an initial "Welcome to Medicare" exam, you are now eligible for this free benefit. There are no deductibles or coinsurance payments associated with this visit. Be sure when you are scheduling the appointment you do not indicate you want a physical, which you will be charged for. This is not a head-to-toe physical, but more of a health risk assessment. The exam will include checking to be sure your heart, lungs and other body systems are working properly. You should be prepared to answer questions regarding your medical history, current medications, cognitive functioning, and any concerns you may have about your health. The health professional you choose will also take routine measurements like your height, weight and blood pressure. No charge for Medicare beneficiaries. If you have Original Medicare, in addition to the annual wellness visit, there are a number of preventative care services available to you with no coinsurance deductible if you see a doctor who accepts the assignment. The physician is not able to charge you separately for more than the Medicare covered amount for the service. If you are in a Medicare Advantage plan, your plan will not be able to charge you for preventative care services that are free for people with Original Medicare, as long as you see in-network providers. Other preventive services Depression screenings, diabetes screenings, heart disease screening, hepatitis C screening, HIV screening, medical nutrition therapy, obesity counseling, osteoporosis screening, sexually transmitted disease screenings, smoking cessation counseling as well as a number of vaccinations. Some of the other Medicare preventive services that can be provided without coinsurance or a deductible include: abdominal aortic aneurysm screening, alcohol counseling, breast, cervical, colon lung, and prostate cancer. These services will not be a part of your annual wellness visit, but may be suggested by your health professional as follow-up care following your visit. The best way to stay healthy is to live a healthy lifestyle by exercising, eating well, keeping a healthy weight, and not smoking. Preventive services like the annual wellness exam can help, too, by finding health problems early, when treatment works best. Call 1-800-MEDICARE for more information on any of these screenings or visit www.medicare.gov to get the most current information on what is covered. What are various parts of Medicare Part A, B, C, and D? Medicare Parts Explained!

03:29
please subscribe to our channel for more videos! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUT2dLC-nsm36IzOkemXRbA Are you confused about Medicare Parts? Part A, B, C and D? Don’t panic. I’ll explain what all this alphabet means! There are four main “parts” of Medicare insurance: Part A, Part B, Part C, and Part D. Medicare Part A (hospital insurance) and Medicare Part B (medical insurance) together make up Original Medicare. Medicare Part C, also known as Medicare Advantage, and Medicare Part D (prescription drug coverage) programs that let you get Medicare plans through private insurance companies that contract with Medicare. Let’s look at each part individually. Medicare Part A typically pays for your inpatient hospital expenses, hospice services, home health care, and care in a skilled nursing facility. You don’t have to pay extra for Part A if you have worked and paid Social Security taxes for at least 40 calendar quarters ( or 10 years); Medicare Part B typically covers most medically necessary doctors’ services, preventive care, durable medical equipment, hospital outpatient services, lab tests, x-rays, mental health care, and some home health and ambulance services. You pay a monthly premium for this coverage. Medicare Part C (Medicare Advantage) are private health plans These policies, must cover at least the same benefits covered under Medicare Part A and Part B; however, your costs may be different, and you may have extra benefits, such as coverage for prescription drugs or extra days in the hospital. If you want, you can choose to get your Medicare coverage through a Medicare Advantage Plan instead of Original Medicare. Some plans also cover Part D as part of your Medicare Advantage benefits package. You may pay a monthly premium for this coverage, in addition to your Part B premium. Part D is the part of Medicare that provides outpatient prescription drug coverage. Part D is provided only through private insurance companies that have contracts with the government — it is never provided directly by the government (like Original Medicare is). If you want Part D, it is very important to select Part D coverage that works with your Medicare health benefits. If you have Original Medicare, choose a stand-alone Part D plan (PDP). It is very important to choose a plan that covers your medications. Every Medicare Prescription Drug Plan has a formulary that lists the drugs it covers. A plan’s formulary may change at any time, so make sure to check it periodically. I hope this information was helpful! If you have a question, feel free to comment under the video or contact us directly! We love helping people!

If you don't want Medicare at 65 years old

03:19
-- click here- http://www.Medigaplist.com Very important video! You could do the wrong thing if your turning 65 and don't want Medicare. If you leave it alone you could be penalized. Watch closely. ----- If you decline Medicare Part B, then you are really not on "Medicare" in real terms. You will not lose your Medicare open enrollment status, you will not pay any penalties for Medicare Part D, you will be able to come into Medicare at a later date....smooth sailing. So what's the big deal about Medicare Part B? Everything!!! If you are not on it, you will not need a Medigap plan. You also will not need a Medicare advantage plan. You most likely won't need a Part D prescription drug plan, and you won't be hit with any penalties. If you want to get on Medicare and want the Original Medicare "package" you will have to take these steps: 1. Get your Medicare A and B card set up right at 3 moths before your 65th birthday 2. Call a Medicare Supplement agent like Medigaplist.com and see the different prices for Medigap Plan F or Medigap Plan G. ( or any other plan that is available) 3. Choose a company that supplies that Medigap plan in your state ( Florida, Pennsylvania, Texas, California, Kansas etc are all different) Make sure you look at some well known companies such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, AARP, Mutual Of Omaha, Aetna. Also look at some smaller companies such KSKJ life, Royal Neighbors of America, Forethought, Medico etc. 4. Choose a prescription drug plan with a good company with low deductibles and copays. Many companies have drug plans such as AARP, Aetna, Blue Cross and Medico. 5 . And get an agent that really understands the system. We at Medigap list understand how the system works and you don't get charge any more than you would going directly to a company. Come on you say? Try us out. We give you a list of Medigap companies with the best rates. You compare prices with the cheap Medicare Supplements and shop around to beat the price if need be. You will see we can't be beat on price or service. Do all Medicare Supplement plans have price increases? Check us out. You can call your Medigap list agent every year to compare Medigap prices if you like. It's all free of charge. Start now by viewing your rates up top. 2018 Medicare Enrollment Period- Change Medicare Supplement, Medicare Plan or Medicare Part D Plan

05:06
2018 Medicare Enrollment Period- Change Your Medicare Supplement, Medicare Plan or Medicare Part D Plan. What is the 2018 Medicare Enrollment Period and why is it important to you? This video outlines what you can do and the changes you can make during the 2018 Medicare annual enrollment period, regardless of the type of Medicare coverage you have. The Annual Enrollment (Election) Period (AEP) takes place October 15 to December 7 and is available to all Medicare Advantage and Part D eligible beneficiaries. During the Annual Election Period: Beneficiaries may add or drop MA (Medicare Advantage) and/or drug coverage, or return to Original Medicare. No action is needed if the beneficiary chooses to keep his/her current plan. She/he should check for any benefit changes under the plan. Beneficiaries may make more than one enrollment choice during the Annual Election Period, but the last one made prior to the end of the Annual Election Period, as determined by the date the plan or marketing representative receives the completed enrollment form, will be the election that takes effect. Medicare Supplement Plan N vs Plan G (& Plan D)

29:08
Medigap Plan N, Medicare Supplement Plan N or Plan N vs Plan G and Plan D. In this video, I am going to review Medicare Supplement Plan N and compare the benefits and cost to Medicare Supplement Plan G and Plan D. Independent Brokers licensed in almost every state in the country. Subscribe to see all my Medicare videos! Call us at 800-847-9680 email: info@medigapseminars.org Get a free quote comparison of Medigap plans: https://medigapseminars.org/medigap-plans-independent-medicare-insurance-broker/m-quote-request/ Link to the Medicare Supplement benefit table for 2020: https://tinyurl.com/ycfnwlj5 Subscribe to Our youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4vgYKig-7gkHDsBTIlR_3A or visit https://MedigapSeminars.org Medicare supplement Plan N can be a better value than Medicare supplement Plan G. This is especially true in states that have specific laws reducing the value of Plan G. In addition, some insurance companies are preparing for Medicare Supplement Plan D to be one of the top selling plans in Medicare. To be clear, I am referring to the Medicare Supplement Plan D and NOT Medicare Part D prescription drugs. Medicare supplement Plan D is a direct competitor to Medicare supplement Plan N. Is Medicare Supplement Plan N the right plan for you? Let’s take a look. When comparing Medigap Plan N vs. Plan G, people that prefer the Plan G to the Plan N tend to be people who would rather pay a little extra each month and avoid having to do the extra work to avoid excess charges. The plans are identified by letter across the top row. The category of Medicare services are in the left hand column. In the column below the Plan letter you can see the percentage of insurance coverage offered by that plan. You can find this table on our website and in various Medicare publications. With Medigap Plan N we see that it covers 100% “Medicare Part A coinsurance and hospital costs (up to an additional 365 days after Medicare benefits are used up.). Notice that all the supplements have this coverage. Also, notice down here that Medicare Supplement Plan N pays the Medicare Part A deductible. In 2017 that deductible is $1,380 per event. It will change every year, but with a Medigap Plan N that doesn’t matter. Your supplement will pay it. Without a supplement you pay the deductible up front, then have 60-days of hospital coverage before you start paying a copay. With Medicare supplement Plan N you can be an inpatient in the hospital for more than 365 days with 100% coverage. You will have no out of pocket costs for Part A. The asterisks indicate that you have the Medicare supplement Plan N copay. You will be required to pay up to a $20 co-pay for every doctor visit and a $50 copay for every emergency room visit unless you end up an inpatient in the hospital. Then the $50 copay is waived. The important qualifying words here are “up to”…$20. Here is what you can expect. So notice that with Medicare supplement Plan N you have 100% coverage until you get down to this line item referring to the Medicare Part B deductible and Medicare Part B excess charges. Here Medigap Plan N has no coverage at all. You are expected to pay those fees out of pocket. That’s important. Later in this video I am going to go over a real life example using a common joint replacement that will clear up some of the most common questions and misunderstandings about Medigap Plan N. In order to evaluate if Medicare supplement Plan N is right for you, you need to know what the Medicare Part B deductible is and what it is expected to be in the future. It’s also critical that you understand Medicare Part B excess charges. So let’s focus on these and then go over a real life example to show you how Medicare supplement Plan N works with office visits, hospital stays and physical therapy. If a doctor or hospital does not accept Medicare assigned rates, they are paid 5% less from Medicare, but allowed to charge you 15% more. The amount the doctor or hospital charges you that is more than what Medicare pays the doctor for that service is called an excess charge. Excess charges are only allowed on Medicare Part B services. Those are outpatient and physician services. There are also some states that either forbid or severely restrict Medicare Part B excess charges. These state laws are called Medicare Override Measure or MOM laws. If you live in either Connecticut, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Rhode Island or Vermont your state either forbids or limits Medicare Part B excess charges. for Part D drug plan info visit: http://www.medicare.gov Also visit : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medigap Get your Medicare Guide to supplements here: https://www.medicare.gov/Pubs/pdf/02110-Medicare-Medigap.guide.pdf And your Medicare & You Guide here: https://www.medicare.gov/pubs/pdf/10050-Medicare-and-You.pdf

Medigap vs Medicare Advantage plan

03:16
-- click here- https://Medigaplist.com _____ Explanation of Medicare advantage vs Medicare Supplement/Medigap plans. Medicare advantage plans can without a doubt lower your monthly spending if you are HEALTHY! If you notice the key to that sentence is if you are healthy. Medicare Supplements are very popular with doctors because they pay their bills on time and they don't argue the cost, because they can't. Lets take a look at the comparison between the Blue Cross Medicare Advantage plan in Pennsylvania and the Aetna Medicare Supplement Plan F. One advantage plan from Blue Cross (HMO) has a zero premium. The out of pocket cost for the year could possibly be over $6500 for a year. It may cost you $20 for a doctor visit or $200 per day in the hospital etc etc. The point is it is $0 for the premium which gets everyone excited, but if you need to get a surgery done in December, it could cost you $6000 out of pocket. Also, the hospital may or may not take the Medicare Blue Cross Advantage plan. The Advantage Plan from Blue Cross that is "0″ premium is an HMO plan and some hospitals and doctors won't take it. The Medicare supplement plan F from Aetna is a Medigap plan that could cost around $150-$200 a month premium depending on if your a Male or Female, what zip code you live in etc. The difference is, the out of pocket cost for Medicare approved procedures is "0″. Also, any hospital that excepts Medicare has to except the Medigap plan F from Aetna. Also, this Medigap supplement Plan F could be from any company including, KSKJ life, Family Life, Mutual of Omaha, New Era, ANTEX, AARP, etc etc. The out of pocket cost is going to be your premium not copays and deductibles. The bottom line is do you want to pay in the front or in the back. Do you want to pay a zero premium and pay deductibles and copays, or do you want zero deductibles and copays with a higher premium. Your going to pay either way. Put your zip code into Medigaplist and we can give you the best Medigap rates possible. Medicare Supplement Plan G vs F vs N (What's Changing?)

21:35
Medigap Plan G. I discuss what you need to know about Medicare supplement Plan G vs Plan F and Plan N. I also compare Medicare supplement Plan G vs Plan N and Plan F. I compare Medicare supplements (aka Medigap Plans) to help you make an informed decision about which Medicare supplement is best for you. For most people turning 65, Medicare supplement Plan G will offer the best value today. However, there are changes in the relationship between Medicare supplement Plan G and Medigap Plan F and Plan N that you should be aware of before you make a decision. In this video, I will show you these changes and discuss how they may impact your decision making as you decide if the Plan G Medicare supplement is right for you. Plus a simple technique you can use to evaluate which plan is right for you. This is for two reasons – first; because the previously popular plans Medicare supplement Plan F and Plan C are being phased out as of January 2020. Second, Medicare supplement Plan G is usually a lower premium AND a better value. Most people shopping for a Medigap Plan today find Medicare supplement Plan G as their best value. Let’s take a quick look at the Medicare supplement plans so you can see why: . In the column below the Plan letter you can see the percentage of insurance coverage offered by that plan. For example; Medigap Plan F show 100% coverage in each category all the way down. That means that Medicare supplement plan F covers 100% of all the co-pays and deductibles that you would normally have to pay with Medicare Part A (inpatient hospital coverage) and Medicare Part B (outpatient coverage). It’s a great plan and would be an easy decision for many people entering Medicare, except that it is being phased out in January 2020 and Plan G usually offers equal benefits for less money. Take a look -- Medicare supplement Plan G has all the same benefits except this row right here: Medicare Part B deductible. That is a calendar year annual deductible. It resets every January 01. It can change every year. In 2017 it’s just $183. We expect it to increase to $250 over the next five to seven years. That’s it. All you pay is the annual Medicare Part B annual deductible and your premium. Other than that, Medicare and your Medigap Plan G pay all your Medicare related in-patient and outpatient expenses. The math here is simple, if Plan G is $183 less in premiums per year, then it would be exactly equal to Plan G. You pay the $183 deductible out of pocket, then you have all the same benefits as a Plan F. However, Medicare Supplement Plan G is usually $300 to $400 a year less in premiums than a Medigap Plan F. That means you can pay the $183 Medicare part B deductible out of pocket and have money left over. That makes it a better value. People considering a Medigap Plan G often compare the price and benefits to a Medigap Plan N. Plan N usually cost much less than Plan G, but there is a catch! In fact, Medicare supplement Plan N can cost 25% to 35% less than a Medigap Plan G. However, Plan N has less coverage and an asterisks you need to be aware of. Just like with Medigap Plan G, with Medigap Plan N you pay that Medicare Part B deductible out of pocket. The asterisks indicate that you will also pay a small co-pay of up to $20 when you see a doctor, $50 for an emergency room visit. Medicare supplement Plan G is for those who want peace-of-mind. Once you have a Plan G you don’t have to worry about co-pays or excess charges or anything. You can see any doctor, whether they charge excess charges or not. You pay a little extra, but you have peace-of-mind that your healthcare is taken care of. for Part D drug plan info visit: http://www.medicare.gov Also visit : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medigap Get your Medicare Guide to supplements here: https://www.medicare.gov/Pubs/pdf/02110-Medicare-Medigap.guide.pdf And your Medicare & You Guide here: https://www.medicare.gov/pubs/pdf/10050-Medicare-and-You.pdf

Basics of Medicare turning 65

02:46
----- click here- https://Medigaplist.com Medicare basics for people going on Medicare or turning 65 years old. So many people ask the question, What are the steps that I take when I first go on Medicare. As an agent, my client base consists of around 90% people who are just entering Medicare. Why? People turning 65 and aging into Medicare need someone they can trust. They want to know, should I get an AARP (United Healthcare) Medicare supplement with aN Aetna prescription drug plan? Should I get a Blue Cross Blue Shield Medicare Advantage plan if I live in Pennsylvania or California or Florida? Is New Jersey a good state to look at medigap plan F or is it too expensive? At Medigaplist.com we help you answer all of those questions. How do you make money if you are not charging me more than the companies charge? If Aetna charges $125 a month for a plan how can you charge the same amount and make money? The answer is simple. We service so many seniors that Aetna gives us a commission and doesnt charge you. Why you ask? Because if they didn't give us a commission, they would lose business to another company such as Gerber life or Family life because so many clients come to us. Why do they come to us? Because we are honest and trustworthy. I tell my clients, shop around. If you can find a better deal, I am going to be very confused, because it doesnt happen. So, what do you do when you first get on Medicare. The chart tells you, but besides call us I would... 1. Get your Medicare A + B card. (Call SS office and ask) 2. Michigan Medicare Supplement Plans | Medigap Insurance In MI Explained

05:01
Medicare supplement plans in Michigan. Get a free quote: http://medicaresavingscenter.com or call 800-208-4974. This video explains Medicare supplement insurance plans in the state of Michigan. It is important to learn about Medicare supplement plans before you go out and purchase a plan. If you live, or are moving to the state of Michigan this video will explain, in detail, what Medigap plans are best and how to go about comparing the plans. Medicare supplement plans also known as "Medigap" plans are insurance plans sold by private insurance companies. They are designed to pay for what Medicare does not pay in full. The three most popular plans are F, G and N. The other plan letters available are not worth purchasing after comparing premium and benefits across all plans. Plan G provides the most value for your premium dollar, and I explain why in the video. One thing, the insurance companies don’t want you to know is that the Medigap plans are exactly the same no matter what company is offering them. They are standardized. For example, Plan F is exactly the same weather it is being offered by UHC, Aetna, Cigna or any other carrier. The only difference is the price! This is why it is important to allow us to help you compare plans, this ensures you won’t be overpaying for your supplement. Moreover, all the Medicare supplement plan letters (Plans A-N) are accepted anywhere in the country that accepts Medicare, regardless of what compay the plan is with. For example; you can have a Plan G with any company and it will be accepted everywhere in the country, provided that they take Medicare. There are not any networks or referrals needed with a Medigap Plan! If you are unsure about which plan is best for you, please give us a call at 800-208-4974. Many folks think Plan F is the "best plan" when in fact you will get much more value out of a Plan G or Plan N. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Our website: http://www.medicaresavingscenter.com Our YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQ_yu7GyDaUjm4Owrmx5QZg Medicare Supplement Plans By State: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLhENX2SJv7MsH105gzUFOZGZ3FOL-hDAw Medicare Supplement Plan G vs. F: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nTikSGP502k

Medicare Part D for Diabetes

02:22
click here----http://www.medigaplist.com When you are on Medicare with the biggest worry for most people are the prescription drug plans because the out of pocket costs are pricey. If you are taking Novolog or another Diabetes insulin pen you must do some work so that you are not going to automatically hit the Medicare part d donut hole. It isn't the same for someone taking a generic drug such as Lisinopril or lovastatin. These are the generic drugs that might cost $3 at Walgreens, CVS, or Walmart. The diabetes insulin injections can be costly and can put you into the donut hole in the first quarter of the year. Especially in 2014 when the donut hole is around 50% of your prescription drug retail cost. Many people that are taking Novolog or another diabetes insulin drug will be on a Medicare supplement plan F or a Medigap plan N and think that the costs are really low. They are. The costly part of Medicare plans are the part d Medicare prescription plans. If you compare the best Medicare part D plans and look at some of the out of pocket costs they can be very similar. A list of Medicare supplement plans with part d plans can show a person how to save money. I am using Novolog as an example but it is costly with all of the diabetes drugs. Medicare Supplement Plan G vs Plan F Difference Explained: Compare Prices

11:38
http://www.medicareforher.com/supplement-plan-g-vs-plan-f ... In today’s episode we compare the exact difference between a medicare supplement plan g and plan f. We will also link to reviews and prices so you can get an even better idea of what choice you should make. Here is the conversation written out: Wendy: So today's episode we have Catherine...hi Catherine! She writes in and says “Tripp, can you please tell me the differences between a Plan F and a Plan G. I am trying to weigh them out and decide the best option for myself.” So first let's make sure that everyone understands; a Plan F and a Plan G is a Medicare Supplement… Tripp: Correct. Wendy: And these plans are called standardized, they are regulated by the government. Tripp: Correct. So all the Plan F by this particular carrier, say it is Humana and it's AARP or it is New Era or Aetna, a Plan F has the standardized benefits. Wendy: Meaning they're all the same across the board. Tripp: They are identical. So the same doctors, the same hospitals; the difference being how much each carrier just chooses to charge you the client per month on the premium. Wendy: And when he told me this I was just astounded. Tripp: Same plan. Wendy: And I think a lot of people don't realize that. They assume okay well if this carrier charges this amount and this carrier charges this amount, it must mean better benefits. Tripp: Right and it may be a carrier that they have “heard of” but the coverage is the same...it is identical. Wendy: It’s amazing. Tripp: A Plan F is a Plan F; a Plan G has the exact same benefits as another Plan G from Florida to North Carolina to Maine to Arizona, it doesn't matter. An F is an F and a G is a G. Wendy: Okay. So once we have that figured out, the next thing we have to determine is which plan is the best for your situation. So they are supplements; a Plan F is what is known as, they call it… Tripp: The Cadillac of all plans. And I think still a high majority of retirees and mature women, this is geared for the women, typically go with the Plan F because it is the most complete plan; so when they hear that knowing that your major objective is peace of mind and no headaches and you want to make sure everything is taken care of, that is why a lot of keep automatically “Gimme that Plan F!” Wendy: Yeah, and I can see that. It is like all inclusive, like when you choose a resort if you are traveling, you see one that covers everything, you realize you can just relax on your trip and you don't have to worry about being nickled and dimed and you can just kick back. So that would be a plan F, it covers pretty much everything. Tripp: It covers your Part A deductible, Part B deductible; the original Medicare, they are going to pay eighty percent, your Medicare Plan F is going to pay the remaining twenty percent for Part A and Part B. Wendy: Okay. And one other thing I just remembered, when you are deciding between the two, it was just released in recent legislation that the government is going to stop all Plan F’s in January 2020, so that is something to keep in mind. Trip: Now if you have already got a plan F, you are grandfathered in, as they say; but somebody that is aging into Medicare in 2020, like your father, he will not be able to get a plan F, they are taking it away. Wendy: Yes he turns sixty five in October 2020. Tripp: Right. So he will not be eligible to get a plan F. If you already have it you can keep right on rolling with it. Again I, as of the last couple of years we have written more Plan G’s than Plan F’s and we are getting ready to cover why as far as the cost effectiveness you will see. Best Medicare Supplement Plans - Best Medicare Supplement Plans Review

16:12
What are the best medicare supplement plans – What is the best medicare supplement plan? 1-800-566-1002 http://www.RetireSharp.com . What are the best types of medicare supplement plans and learn how you can avoid the most common mistakes that individuals have made when looking to purchase the top medicare supplement plans. Best Medicare Supplement Plan What is the best Medicare supplement plan that is currently out in the market? Trying to answer that question without putting the situation into context actually does not mean anything for any prospective Medigap policy owner. At face value, it would be tremendously easy to say Plan F carries the most comprehensive and can therefore be called the best Medicare supplement plan, but when you begin considering premium cost and suitability, you might not be so keen to agree. The truth is that there is no single best Medicare supplement plan that suits everyone. Getting the right plan for you requires analyzing the trade-offs and implications of each selection. Consider the following important pointers when assessing Medigap plans: The more comprehensive the plan coverage, the more expensive is a specific plan. The most basic Medigap offers would fall in the range of $90 to $110 per month and the most comprehensive plans cost about $450 or even higher depending on your location. The wide difference in premium cost is a very big determinant of what constitutes as the best Medicare supplement plan on the market. As an extension of the cost consideration, suitability is also critical when assessing and comparing Medigap plans. Suppose you can pay for $450 Medigap plans because money is no object. However, if your medical needs can be suitably met by $180 plans, would you really be as keen in purchasing the more expensive Medigap policy? If so, doesn't that mean that you're only throwing money away, money that you'll never end up using? Striking a balance between coverage and need is the most important criterion before one can say they have chosen the best Medicare supplement plan for themselves. Keeping these considerations in mind, here are some tips on how you can get the best Medicare supplement plan for your needs. Assess your needs properly. A year before you become eligible for Medicare and Medigap, talk to your doctor about your most common medical needs and make a list so you know in which areas a Medigap policy will help you best. Shortly before choosing your plan, narrow down your selection to 2 or 3 plan options. Before seeing the quotes, don't limit yourself to just one plan type. You never know when you can get favorable offers that can address your needs and still meet your budget. Get as many available quotes and offers as possible so you have a wide array of comparison. Many websites offer a listing of quotes in your state. Alternatively, you can directly ask for a quote from companies you are familiar with. Don't limit your options. Think it through before choosing. The best Medicare supplement plan is a product of a deliberate decision-making process. You cannot find it with impulse decision-making. You always have the option to change your plan later on. Assess and think about the other options even after you've chosen and signed up for a specific plan. Good luck on your search for the best Medicare supplement plan for your particular situation. May the plan that you choose serve your needs well in the long run. This means no interruption of coverage and nothing is excluded. You can keep the same benefits, just pay a lower price when your agent has found the best price on a Medicare Supplement plan. What is a deductible for health insurance coverage?

03:12
-- click here- https://Medigaplist.com Medicare insurance coverage deductible is what the company makes the consumer pay before the plan starts paying for your service. Medicare part D can also charge a deductible. What is a deductible for health insurance? There are a lot of different angles for insurance companies. When you purchase your health insurance plan they have what they call a premium. This is what the insurance company charges you to have the health insurance coverage. Let's say the health insurance premium is $200. Many people think this is all they will have to pay and the rest of the coverage is free. This is not the case in many instances. Premium is what you pay the company each month to carry the plan. The deductible is what you would pay before the company would start paying for your coverage and the co-payment is what you pay out of pocket when you go to the doctor or hospital each time. If you had a $3000 deductible and a co-pay of $50 for each time you went to the hospital, you pay the 1st $3000 and then pay $50 each time you go to the doctor. tags: AARP drug plan, Actos, Alabama, Alaska, Altocor, Amturnide, Anthem, Arizona, Arkansas, Avandia, Aviane, best Part D, best plans, best plans in Colorado, best rates, Black Forest, Boulder, Broomfield county, California, cheapest plan F, Chipita Park, Cigna, Cimarron Hills, Co Springs, Colorado, Colorado Springs, Connecticut, Crestor, Delaware, Delta Dental, Denver, drug plans, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Heartland F, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, inexpensive plan G, Iowa, Jefferson County, Kansas, Kentucky, lisinopril, choices, companies, list of Medigap insurance companies, list of Medigap insurance costs, list of Medigap insurance plans, insurance rates, list of Medigap plans, list of Medigap prices, list of Medigap rates, Louisiana, lovastatin, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Medicare, Medicare beneficiaries, Medicare PArt A, Medicare Part B, Medicare part C, Medicare Part D, Medicare Plan C, Medicare Plan F, Medicare Plan G, Medicare Plan N, Medicare supplement plan A, Medicare supplement plan B, Medicare supplement plan C, Medicare supplement plan F, Medicare supplement plan G, Medicare supplement plan J, Medicare supplement plan N, Medigap, Medigap companies, Medigap insurance costs, Medigap list, Medigap plan A, Medigap plan B, Medigap plan C, Medigap plan D, Medigap plan F, Medigap plan G, Medigap plan K, medigap plan L, Medigap plan M, Medigap plan N, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Mutual of Omaha, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Obama, Obamacare, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Pueblo, Pueblo County Colorado, Rhode Island, simvastatin, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tekamlo, Tekturna, Tennessee, Texas, Utah Vermont, Valturna, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming, Gap drug plans, Marcia, simvastain, West Chester, Blue Bell, Media, Havertown, Newtown Square, Radnor, Villanova, Chester Springs, Highmark, Ardmore, Broomall, Pinellas, Key Biscayne, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Allentown, Erie, Reading, Scranton, Bethlehem, Lancaster, Harrisburg, Altoona, York, State College, Wilkes-Barre, Chester, Williamsport, Easton, Lebanon, Hazelton, New Castle, Johnstown, Chambersburg, McKeesport, Carlisle, Royersford
