Treat and Stop Acid Reflux with Natural Medicine - Dr. Patti Kim, ND

04:57
Low stomach acid causes most Acid Reflux symptoms, according to Dr. Patti Kim, ND (Naturopathic Doctor). In this video interview, Dr. Kim discusses: 1) The symptoms of Acid Reflux, including burning, heat or pain sensation in chest and/or throat area, regurgitation, belching due to the sphincter being weakened, feeling full sooner than normal, chronic sore throats or laryngitis. 2) The conventional treatment for Acid Reflux, including calcium carbonate antacids such as Tums, Maalox, Mylanta; or proton pump inhibitors such as Prilosec, Nexium, Prevacid and Protonix. 3) That neutralizing stomach acid or stopping stomach acid production with artificial drugs can be harmful to the body because of the numerous side effects associated with the drugs, and that this type of conventional symptom treatment does not treat the root cause. 4) That stress is a primary cause of lowering stomach acid. 5) That stomach acids leak into the esophagus because of a weak sphincter (often due to stress). 6) Factors that influence acid reflux: poor nutrition, foods that cause inflammation, eating spicy foods and alcohol. 7) Natural Medicine treatment of acid reflux includes: stomach pH may be tested; goal is to raise stomach acid (or lower if too high) through dietary changes, exercise, herbs, nutritional supplements, digestive supplements and Homeopathic remedies. 8) Especially important is removal of processed foods and eating whole, organic foods. 9) Dr. Kim has a great success rate of stopping acid reflux: most of her patients are symptom free within a week. How to avoid Asian-Glow!

13:57
@monkeyeatsworld and I put Reedee patches, an alcohol flush support product to the test. Can we drink a bottle of sake without turning red? Check out the video to see if this is the miracle cure for Asian-Glow that you have been searching for. Disclaimer: The views expressed are my own. The actions of one person need not affect your own. Do your own research, question the “facts”, and proceed with caution. According to google: “H2 (histamine) blockers (like Zantac and Pepcid) slow the metabolism of alcohol, increasing peak blood alcohol concentration to potentially dangerous levels.” In other words, antihistamines increase the rate at which blood alcohol levels rise, and can cause you to reach your limit much more quickly. If you’re not careful, you can reach toxic levels more quickly than you anticipate, making it more likely to experience alcohol poisoning and requiring hospitalization”. I myself have been using this method for years and have encountered no issue. Nonetheless please proceed with caution. Howard Ain, Troubleshooter: Over-the-counter drug dangers

01:50
CINCINNATI (Howard Ain) -- It sounds like a great deal, over-the-counter drugs on sale online at deeply discounted prices. But buying those pills may actually be bad for your health. Pepcid AC, Tylenol, Advil; these piles of pill boxes look like they belong in the stock room of your local drug store. In reality all of these over the counter drugs were stolen in an elaborate shoplifting ring. David Arminio, a US Postal Inspector, said, Shop lifters will go into stores. They will steal the product. Ultimately they will sell it to a middle man. That person will then try to sell the product online. Sometimes for 30-percent less than retail stores. But this is a crime that poses a real physical danger. Arminio explains, A lot of these products have temperature requirements, they have to be stored within a certain degree. When they are stolen they are either stored in big warehouses, cars, or in hot weather. Postal inspectors say the criminals involved in these schemes are focused on money, not temperatures or expiration dates. If someone consumes a product that is possibly spoiled they can get sick and one of our main concerns was a lot of products in this scheme were baby formula, Arminio said. Some advice, be wary of online deals with price tags far below typical market value. When it is that much cheaper than the store, you have to wonder where that product is from. No one has more buying power than the national retail chain. The suspects in this case were discovered from leads provided by some retail stores and then developed with undercover purchases made by postal inspectors.Follow us on Twitter @Local12 and LIKE us on Facebook for updates!

Acid Reflux Drugs http://acidreflux.product-truths.com - Acid reflux and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) are closely related, however the terms are not necessarily interchangeable. Acid reflux may be the backward flow of stomach acid in to the esophagus - the tube that connects the throat and stomach. Acid reflux is additional specifically called gastroesophageal reflux. In the course of an episode of acid reflux, you could possibly taste regurgitated food or sour liquid in the back of the mouth or feel a burning sensation in your chest (heartburn). Sometimes acid reflux progresses to GERD, a extra severe form of reflux. The most typical symptom of GERD is frequent heartburn. Other indicators and symptoms may possibly include things like regurgitation of meals or sour liquid, difficulty swallowing, coughing, wheezing and chest discomfort - especially whilst lying down at evening. In the event you have occasional acid reflux, life-style alterations can help. Shed excess weight, eat smaller sized meals, and steer clear of foods that appear to trigger heartburn - like fried or fatty foods, chocolate and peppermint. Avoiding alcohol and nicotine may well assist, as well. If needed, occasional acid reflux is usually treated with over-the-counter medication, like: - Antacids, which include Tums - H-2-receptor blockers, such as cimetidine (Tagamet HB) or famotidine (Pepcid AC) - Proton pump inhibitors, which include omeprazole (Prilosec OTC) If you suspect that you simply have GERD, your indicators and symptoms worsen, or youencounter nausea, vomiting or difficulty swallowing, speak to your doctor. Prescription medicines may perhaps assist. Within a couple of instances, GERD may possibly be treated with surgery or other procedures.

Link to Buy - http://amzn.to/2szHMs3 - Affiliate Heartburn happens when acid escapes from your stomach up into your esophagus. Your lower esophageal sphincter is supposed to prevent that. But sometimes it relaxes or doesn’t close properly and the acid escapes. Unlike the stomach, the esophagus isn’t meant to house acid, so that’s when you feel the burn. Pepcid Complete starts to neutralize acid in seconds. Pepcid AC starts to relieve heartburn in 15 to 30 minutes. Based on 9-hour acid control studies during the day and 12-hour acid control studies during the night. Acid control does not imply symptom relief. Using Heartburn Drugs That Are Over-the-Counter To Reduce Heartburn

02:55
transcript There are a variety of heartburn medicines available over the counter to relieve symptoms. If these fail to relieve your symptoms, talk to your doctor about other available heartburn treatment options. Your doctor may want to evaluate you for gastroesophageal reflux disease, or GERD. Non-prescription medications used to treat heartburn include: Antacids for Heartburn Antacids neutralize stomach acid to help relieve heartburn, sour stomach, acid indigestion, and stomach upset. Some antacids also contain simethicone, an ingredient that helps eliminate excess gas. Some antacids contain ingredients that can cause diarrhea, such as magnesium, or constipation, such as aluminum. Examples of antacids include: • Alka-Seltzer • Milk of Magnesia • Alternagel, Amphojel • Gaviscon, Gelusil, Maalox, Mylanta, Rolaids • Pepto-Bismol You should take antacids exactly as directed by your doctor, or according to the package label. If you are using the tablets, chew them well before swallowing for faster relief. Serious side effects can occur with an overdose or overuse of antacids. Side effects include constipation, diarrhea, changes in the color of bowel movements, and stomach cramps. Acid Reducers for Heartburn There are two types of drugs that work to reduce the production of acid in the stomach: histamine antagonists (H2 antagonists or H2 blockers) and proton pump inhibitors (PPIs). Examples of H2 blockers available over the counter include: • Nizatidine (Axid AR) • Famotidine (Pepcid AC) • Cimetidine (Tagamet HB) • Ranitidine (Zantac 75) The FDA has approved the proton pump inhibitors lansoprazole(Prevacid 24HR), omeprazole (Prilosec OTC), and esomeprazole(Nexium 24HR) for over-the-counter use to treat frequent heartburn(two or more times per week) for 14 days. All of these drugs are also available as prescriptions. Take these drugs according to the directions on the package or as advised by your doctor. If these medications don't relieve your symptoms, or if your heartburn symptoms get worse or persist for longer than two weeks, you should see your doctor. Combination Antacid/Acid Reducer for Heartburn Pepcid Complete combines the acid-neutralizing capability of an antacid and the acid-reducing actions of an H2 blocker and ZegeridOTC combines a PPI with sodium bicarbonate. So Which Works Best for Heartburn? All of these over-the-counter medicines, to a varying degree, can be effective in relieving the symptoms of heartburn. People who have more severe heartburn symptoms that aren't relieved with these medications or who have been using these drugs for more than two weeks should contact their doctor. They may need a stronger prescription medicine and testing to see what is causing their symptoms.

Antacid Products and Asian Flush (A.K.A. Asian Glow)

01:12
http://www.deltanutra.com - Our Founder Spencer Gordon explains why it's not helpful, and can also be harmful to take antacid products to hide facial redness from alcohol flush reaction. It is very popular with some people with ALDH2 Deficiency to take Pepcid AC or other Antacid products prior to drinking alcohol to reduce redness in the skin. This products work by acting as as anti-histamines so it reduces the amount of blood flow that occurs in the skin. This can actually cause harm especially when drinking alcohol. First it can increase the level of intoxication after drinking the same amount of alcohol and damage the lining of the stomach. This happens because of an overproduction of stomach acid particularly when drinking. It can lead to stomach ulcers. Taking Pepcid AC doesn’t lower the amount of acetaldehyde in the body, which is the source of the negative physical symptoms of alcohol flush reaction and the source of the inflammation that’s causing the facial redness. So when you take Pepcid AC, it’s not doing your body any good to protect it from the dangerous compounds that would cause this reaction to occur.
