Watch more How to Quit Smoking videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/501815-What-Are-the-Side-Effects-of-Quitting-Quit-Smoking Side effects of quitting smoking. Boy! What a big topic that is. So there are wonderful side effects and there are some side effects that are little painful and very uncomfortable at times. Either way they are still side effects. Most people see smoking as just being some bad habit, just one little piece, just one little aspect of their lives that they wish didn’t happen once they are thinking of quitting. However I’m here to tell you that it goes through the threat of your entire life if you are anything like me. I was a pack a day smoker for many years, and I did everything, I smoked over everything, I smoked with everything, so it went through every aspect of my life. So there were great side effects, good side effects, bad side effects and hopeless side effects. Focus on the really good ones. Focus on the fact that you won’t smell bad, you won’t look bad, you’ll have one less thing that people will be getting on your nerves about saying, WHY DON’T YA? That’s always very helpful and in fact that should you’ll be teaching people, if you have children you will be showing them that you can overcome the most difficult things. So those are the good side effects. Some of the bad side effects can be that, well maybe good actually; you might have to get rid of some people in your life. But, some of those people you may not want in your life anyway. Either way you are going to stay away from some people for a little while. Even people you love if they still smoke because that’s too triggering. And the other side effects can be really bad also like a little, weight gain, but I’m here to tell you, I gained some weight, I don’t know if you could see, but I think you can that I’m not crazily overweight anymore. Because one of the good side effects came out of that bad side effect. I gained some weight which made me decide to start exercising, which ended up being a good side effect. So you’re getting the drift? It’s a big life change and it’s a day at a time and it’s a process. So get into your process, don’t be afraid of it, get excited about, of where you are going to end up.

Are headache, stuffy nose with dry mouth after smoking ceasation normal? - Dr. Satish Babu K

Once you stop smoking, there is a lot of changes happening in the body, so as to repair the damages that are being done during the time of smoking. When you smoke, chemicals and the dust, carbon particles, nicotine everything was going into the chest or respiratory passage, and getting deposited there. This leads to lot of damage because of the chemicals that can injure the cells, this reduces the lung’s capacity. So, till you continue smoking there is only influx of chemicals, once you stop it, the body tries to repair itself, so wherein the chemicals will be slowly removed from the lungs and will be sent upwards the throat through the windpipe. These chemicals coming out of the wind pipe will induce a lot of local reaction both in the windpipe and in the throat leading to a lot of symptoms like flu, cough, excess mucus production, mucus can look even blackish because of the carbon particles. That inflammation gives flu like symptoms, it also leads to dry mouth because of the constant irritation, chemical induced burning sensation. Once you have the irritation in throat, you start having the tendency to clear the throat regularly and spit out the mucus which worsens the dryness, and dry mouth will keep continuing for a long term. This outflux of chemicals and carbon particles will happen till such a time that lung is sufficiently cleared itself. So, these symptoms are more prominent within the first few months of cessation of smoking. If the person smokes again, the outflux will be stopped, and the person feels better. This is the reason for most of the relapses of smoking, they start feeling better whenever they smoke, so they go back to that smoking again. If you understand that it is the outflux of chemicals cleansing the body, then you’ll not go back to smoking.Simple remedy is just to retain the mucus back in the throat whatever color, quantity or thickness it is. Body will take care of itself automatically. You do not have to put any effort whatsoever to clear the mucus. That will bring back the moisture in the throat, and things will be better.Drinking more liquids on a day to day will also help in moisturizing the throat, reducing the irritation, reducing the congestion, so you can do. Do steam once or twice a day also helps. If there is any nicotine withdrawl symptoms, then you can go for simple toffees like nictoneco, nicorite only when necessary.

Feeling like you are getting sick after quitting smoking

04:35
Some people may start to feel as if they are getting cold or flu kind of symptoms when first quitting smoking. Some complain of burning sensations in their lungs. There is a regeneration of nerve cells throughout the larynx, trachea, and bronchi which may very well cause these kind of sensations. At the same time though, it is also always possible that the recent quitter is in fact coming down with a cold or a flu. The following resources explore the issues involved with why these symptoms may be happening from having just quit smoking, but also discusses the importance of getting them checked out if they are prolonged, intense or accompanied by other indicators of actual infection. Smoking Will Ruin Your Sinuses--But If You Quit, They'll Heal In Ten Years

00:41
Smoking can jack up pretty much every system in your body--especially your sinuses. According to UPI, chronic rhinosinusitis, or CRS, leads to facial pain, poor sleep and trouble breathing. Happily, new research from Harvard shows symptoms reverse within 10 years after throwing out those nasty cancer sticks. The severity of CRS decreased to the levels of nonsmoking CRS patients over about 10 years. Likewise, the severity of symptoms, medication usage and quality-of-life improved steadily over that same timeframe. https://www.upi.com/Health_News/2017/07/13/Study-Sinus-damage-from-smoking-reverses-within-a-decade-after-quitting/3091499978590/ http://www.wochit.com This video was produced by YT Wochit News using http://wochit.com

What Happens To Your Body When you Quit Smoking For 1 hour, 1 Day, 1 Month and 1 Year

05:13
Already feeling sick and tired of smoking? Considering quitting? If yes, you're not alone! Today, there are a whole lot of reasons to quit smoking and the good news is, it's never too late to make the decision! As we already know, smoking is incredibly bad for your health — it's more like a way drawing yourself closer and closer to the grave! But the good news is, you can quit today and start getting your life back. Yes, the benefits of quitting smoking are almost instant — you're likely to see great improvements in as little as 20 minutes! It's however important to note that quitting smoking can be pretty tough in the beginning, but trust me, it's totally worth it! Just try to figure out a plan to handle those cravings, especially in the first few weeks — do this and you'll be well on your way to a new super healthy life. Here are some of the amazing benefits that come along with your decision to quit cigarettes. After 20 minutes to 1 hour As mentioned earlier, smokers are likely to experience impressive improvements in their health just minutes after quitting the habit. For the most part, after 20 minutes, your blood pressure starts to drop back to normal and overall circulation begins to improve. After 12 hours At this point, you should be aware that the cigarettes are chock full of harmful toxins including carbon monoxide. Of course, this gas is present in cigarette smoke and it turns out that excessive inhalation can be incredibly harmful to the body. What's more, carbon monoxide in cigarettes inhibits oxygen from getting into the lungs and blood, and prolonged inhalation within a short time can trigger suffocation. But the good news is, after just 12 hours without a cigarette, the body gets rid of the excess carbon monoxide and improve oxygen levels. After 24 hours Worried about suffering a heart attack as a result of smoking? If yes, you'll be glad to know that the risk decreases just after one day of quitting. Essentially, smoking lowers good cholesterol which eventually increases the risk of developing coronary heart disease. What's more, smoking raises blood pressure and even increase the risk of stroke. But as mentioned earlier, these risks can be alleviated in as little as one day after quitting smoking. Of course, within a short time, the body's oxygen levels increases making it easier for you to exercise and perform other heart-healthy habits. After 48 hours Smokers are also at risk of having damaged nerve endings; more like the ones responsible for senses of smell and taste. But the good news is, after just two days of quitting, the nerve endings may heal and of course, the person will begin to notice a heightened sense of both smell and taste. After 72 hours Made it to the third day? Well, at this point, the nicotine levels in the body are already depleted. Of course, this is a good thing but you should brace yourself for nicotine withdrawal. In essence, after three days of quitting, there's a high chance of experiencing irritability, moodiness, terrible headaches and even cravings. This is just the way your body readjusts to the change. After 1 month At this point, your lung function starts to improve — you may notice less coughing and less shortness of breath. What's more, you're likely to notice a renewed strength to perform cardiovascular activities including running and jumping. After 9 months After nine months of quitting smoking, your lungs will start getting its life back. For the most part, the cilia would have recovered from the harmful effects of cigarette smoke and you'll notice a significant decrease in the frequency of lung infections. For those who might not know, the cilia are delicate hair-like structures inside the lungs that help fight infections. After 1 to 5 years Right now, your risk of developing coronary heart disease will decrease by half and after five years, blood vessels and arteries will begin to widen. It's good to know that this widening indicates that blood is less likely to clot, and that's great. Of course, this improvement lowers the risk of stroke significantly and it continues to reduce as the body heals more and more. All in all, quitting smoking is totally worth it — it's a way of bringing your body back to life. Now it's up to you take the decision and live the super healthy life you've always wanted. What Smoking Does to Your Skin | Skin Care Guide

01:41
Watch more Skin Care Guide videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/514584-What-Smoking-Does-to-Your-Skin-Skin-Care-Guide I know you don't want to hear this. I can tell right away if you're a smoker, just by looking at your skin. Smoking really dirties up the skin and it's going to make you age faster than you can imagine. When I look at someone's pores and you've been smoking, you're going to have black tar all in your pores, all over your mouth, all over your nose, everywhere you're breathing in. Why? Because you're breathing in all of that yucky smoke all the time. If that doesn't stop you from smoking, maybe it will stop from smoking to hear that you're going to age faster than everybody else you know. All of those really nasty vertical lines on your lips are from smoking. You're going to get deeper lines, here around the sides of your mouth. You're going to lose the elasticity in your face so much faster then you would if you were just a clean, healthy non-smoker. I know that women are not persuaded to quit smoking because of things like cancer and what it is doing internally. But I can be pretty persuasive by telling you you're just going to age so much faster than someone who doesn't smoke. Your cheeks are going to lose elasticity super fast because you're holding that cigarette with all of that nasty smoke right by your face. Think about it before you pick up a pack of cigarettes and try to consider, "what am I doing to my skin when i smoke this cigarette?"

How Smoking 30 PACKS of Cigarettes Wrecks Your Lungs ● You Must See This !

03:56
The average smoker smokes a pack a day and this is what goes into your body after smoking for 30 days. I decided to do a simple test using cotton balls as lungs to determine what the effects of smoking a pack a day for 30 days, that's 600 cigarettes!! This is not a scientific test, it's an analogy of what could happen and what could accumulate and what it could do to your mouth, throat and lungs not to mention how it compromises every system in your body in order to try to tell you to stop smoking and stop slowly killing yourself. The average smoker smokes a pack a day or even worse some are chainsmokers that will chainsmokers from morning to night. The effects of smoking on your body is no secret and if you don't know by now, here is another reason why you need to quit smoking. It's never to late to quit and once you see what a pack a day for a month does to your lungs and body it will give you the fuel you need to fire up the will power and quit! Good luck on your journey to quit smoking. Remember, waiting another day could be one day too late. ● MY CANON CAMERA https://amzn.to/2K36NFB ● MY RODE MICROPHONE https://amzn.to/2HLWO6B ● MY GOPRO SESSION CAMERA https://amzn.to/2K3UnNq ● MY GOPRO CAMERA https://amzn.to/2K3UnNq ::::::::::::: ANSWERS to ALL YOUR CONCERNS about the test :::::::::::::::: *This is not a scientific test, but is an analogy, a correlation. It's for you to decide and understand how this could effect your body in the same way. *The exhale hose is clearly shown at the start. *if all the smoke had been blown back through the cotton, the results would have been twice as bad! *The smoke was drawn through and around the cotton, catching some, not all, of the chemicals and tar (evident by the accumulation in the hoses) *The average smoker smokes one pack a day. (Google) *The machine was set to smoke each cigarette at the same pace each time. * Every single cigarette was smoked. 30 packs, 20 per pack equals 600 cigarettes. . *Each cigarette was smoked 3/4 of the way to reflect real world smoking allowing a quarter of it to just burn away while talking or thinking. *It took a day to set up and another 3 days for the machine to smoke all of the cigarettes. *The results are real and actual from the cigarettes. Nothing was altered. *Between each cigarette that was smoked, the chamber was cleared of smoke. *The scenes were sped up or time lapsed to keep the video interesting and not too long. *Each cigarette that was smoked, the smoke was drawn through and past the cotton balls, through the connecting hoses, into the pump and exhausted into the air. *The smoke was not held in the glass chamber which many commenters have suggested. *The black tar goo accumulation in the hoses showed up after only 10 packs. Tar from the next 20 packs overflowed and got sucked into the pump. It eventually ruined the pump. *With actual smoking, you also blow the smoke out past all of the same organs twice which could actually be worse than this test. *Whether the machine smoked the cigarettes all at once, or bit by bit, it's the same amount of smoke, the results would be the same. *Your lungs aren't cotton balls and plastic tubes. At least with cotton balls and tubes you can swap them out. You can't buy new lungs. *Lungs do self clean. That self cleaning mechanism is supposed to take care of dust and debris from normal breathing in poor environments. They weren't meant to be overwhelmed on an hourly basis by smoke from a burning object. *The smell of the tar and cotton balls at the end was vile. I felt quite ill afterwards. Can't imagine how a smoker feels on a daily basis. *Not scientific but the analogy speak volumes. FANTASTIC MUSIC BY Joakim Karud, Luvly http://youtube.com/joakimkarud

How To Get Rid Of Dry Mouth - Xerostomia - 3 Natural Home Remedies To Cure Dry Mouth

My name is Dr. Ray Hinish, nutritional pharmacist and host of the wellness show, Wake Up Healthy, which you can subscribe to for free through iTunes! Let me start by saying, dry mouth is more than a nuisance, it can lead to major dental problems and many of my patients report that it interferes with sound sleep, causing them to wake up multiple times with cotton mouth. And let's face it, when you don't sleep you feel terrible on top of whatever aches, pains, and health hassles you may have. That's why it angers me when doctors just brush off patients with dry mouth, usually telling them to chew gum or pick up some Biotene mouthwash at the local pharmacy. Dry mouth is usually caused by one of six main things: first is a condition called Sjogrens where the body attacks the fluid producing cells, literally killing off the saliva producing cells in the mouth; number two, prescription and non-prescription medications, in fact, there are literally hundreds of drugs that can cause dry mouth as an unwanted side effect, third, mild dehydration, makes sense, lack of fluids of course leads to drying of the tissues; four, mouth-breathing, this is usually caused by sinus problems; fifth is smoking, and sixth is extenuating circumstances, this would include things like radiation therapy, nerve damage, and use of a sleep apnea machine. So, now that we know the causes, I want to give you three recommendations that can work regardless of why you have the dry mouth. I will say though, if you know the cause and that cause is something you can fix, such as with smoking and dehydration, then you owe it to yourself to correct those malfunctions in your lifestyle. If it's not something under your control, then here are three things to do to decrease the dry mouth and protect your teeth from the negative consequences of long term dry mouth. First, is something you can buy online that will deliver immediate results and it is a favorite of my patients. It's called Xylitol Melts. If you have dry mouth, this is a must for you. I have placed a link to buy the Xylimelts online in the description below this video. Xylimelts are little discs that you stick to the inside of your gums and it slowly melts (over many hours), delivering a natural sugar called Xylitol, to lubricate the mouth and prevent bacterial growth. Best of all, it's safe with all medications and fine for diabetics as well. Simply stick a disc on the inside of your gum as needed. You can also stick two discs at night before bed on opposite sides of the mouth and you'll get the moisturizing effect all night long. The next supplement that is essential for anyone with dry mouth is omega-7 fatty acids. You've probably heard about omega-3 fatty acids from fish oil, however, omega-7 fats are especially helpful for those suffering from dry mouth because it seems to lubricate the body from the inside out. Now, before you go out and purchase sea-buckthorn oil, which is the most commonly found omega-7 supplement, there is a better source of omega-7 called Provinol. There's a link to the product I recommend in the description below this video. The recommended dose is 1 capsule twice daily. The third and final supplement is a product called N-Acetyl-Cysteine, or NAC for short. NAC is an amino acid supplement that helps to increase the lubricating nature of the fluids of the body so that the saliva that is produced lubricates and hydrates the mouth better and for longer. Aside from that, NAC has additional anti-aging benefits that are beyond the scope of this video, just know that you may get some additional benefits beyond the wetting effect of NAC. So, there you have it. The quick and easy ways to improve dry mouth. Now before I set you loose let me tell you the biggest mistake that people make when trying to treat their dry mouth. It's ignoring the fundamentals...Look, my mission in life is to answer two questions, first is, "Why do we get sick." and second is "how do we heal, I mean, really heal!" The presupposition in those statements is that there is a cause to your health problems and there is a solution to that cause. Use the tools we discussed in this video to get fast results, but always try to get to the cause. If you take medications that dry you out, ask your doctor for a non-drying alternative. If they tell you that there is no non-drying alternative medication then try to find a non-drug way of treating your health problem...or better yet...start there. Stay hydrated, use a humidifier, quit smoking, I

THIS IS HOW YOU’LL STOP BAD BREATH COMING FROM YOUR MOUTH - BAD BREATH REMEDIES

THIS IS HOW YOU’LL STOP BAD BREATH COMING FROM YOUR MOUTH - BAD BREATH REMEDIES This is how you’ll stop bad breath coming from your mouth - Bad breath remedies Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SUxKlAVpt5s Please subscribe our channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/livehealthylifeofficial Like us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Live-Healthy-Life-1645151002425115 Follow us on Twitter : https://twitter.com/livehealthylif1 Follow us on Google+ : https://plus.google.com/+LiveHealthyLifeofficial This is how you’ll stop bad breath coming from your mouth The intensity of bad breath differs during the day due to the consumption of certain foods (such as garlic, onions, meat, fish and cheese), smoking and alcohol consumption. Also because the mouth is exposed to less oxygen and is inactive at night, the odor is generally worse upon awakening. The most common location for bad breath related to the mouth is the tongue. The bacteria of the tongue produce compounds and fatty acids and represent 80 to 90% of all cases of bad breath related to the mouth. Common Causes of Bad Breath: 1. Food: This is the main source of bad breath, especially food, such as garlic, onion, meat, fish and cheese. In addition, food can get trapped between the teeth, causing bacteria to grow that causes a bad smell of respiration. 2. Dry mouth - Dry mouth (xerostomia) can also cause bad breath because the body does not produce enough saliva to help clean the mouth. 3. Smoking - chemicals that remain in the mouth can cause bad breath. 4. Dental problems - such as gum disease, cavities, or plaque buildup. 5. Health problems - such as sinus infections, throat infections, acid reflux, liver and kidney disease, stomach problems, alcoholism and more. 6. Medications - Some medications can cause dry mouth which can cause bad breath. How You’ll Stop bad breath Digestive enzymes When you have poor digestion, consume digestive enzymes. Digestive enzymes containing hydrochloric acid (HCl) are highly recommended. Stomach acid causes symptoms such as bad breath, bloating, gas and fatigue. Probiotic supplement Intestinal health also depends on the proper balance of bacteria. In this case, a good probiotic supplement, acidophilus and / or Bifidus, is a great idea. The recommended dose is 1 or 2 capsules, three times a day or as directed. You can also take the powder form with water. Here are 9 reasons to take probiotics and why it is so good for you. A diet for bad breath If there is no balance between "good" and "bad" bacteria in the intestine, it can cause bad breath. In this case, oregano capsule oil is a good idea to kill "bad" bacteria. It is recommended to take 2 capsules, three times a day. Since "bad" bacteria live on sugar, you can have a diet that removes sugar, bread, pasta, rice, cereals or even fruit for a couple of weeks. Instead, consume proteins, vegetables and good fats like olive oil. More fiber in your diet is also a good idea to remove toxins from the body. The whole foods you consume in your diet, better, like processed foods are high in bad fats and sugar that can contribute to digestive problems and bad breath. Charcoal Another great supplement to reduce bad breath and toxins in the gut is activated charcoal. It is recommended to take charcoal tablets between meals with plenty of water, not at the same time as nutritional supplements or medications, as it may interfere with their absorption. Chlorophyll Chlorophyll acts as an active ingredient to eliminate odors from the mouth. Clorets gum is a line of chewing gum and mints generally contains Actizol, a proprietary ingredient that has chlorophyll inside it. Some doctors recommend taking a few capsules of chlorophyll or tablets on an empty stomach to eliminate intestinal toxins and support intestinal health. There are also "green drinks" found in health food supermarkets that contain herbs that contain chlorophyll.

Imagine this alternative could help millions of people quit smoking and came with only a fraction of the harmful chemicals that cigarettes do. Well, you don’t have to imagine it. It exists. E-cigarettes are the most innovative and promising smoking-cessation product yet invented. So, public health officials and anti-tobacco activists are all in favor of this life-saving innovation, right? Actually, they’re almost all totally against it. Why? Because, incredibly, they make no substantial distinction between e-cigarettes and real cigarettes -- even though they are completely different products. To begin with, e-cigarettes aren’t cigarettes. They contain no tobacco. Instead, a liquid containing nicotine derived from tobacco leaves is vaporized, and users of e-cigarettes inhale that vapor. Vapor, mind-you – not smoke. This is significant because the real harm from tobacco comes from the combustion process, which releases hundreds of toxic compounds known as tar. Since e-cigarettes have no tobacco and no combustion, they release no tar. This makes them, according to Britain’s Department of Health, at least 95% less harmful than tobacco cigarettes. E-cigarettes do contain nicotine, an addictive drug. However, there is little evidence that nicotine alone is bad for you, making it similar to, say, caffeine--a drug used every day by millions of people. Brad Rodu, an oral cancer specialist at the University of Louisville, put it this way: “I love coffee, and I’m sure I could get caffeine if I smoked my coffee beans…but I would be paying a much different price in overall health [if I did].” In other words, when it comes to addictive substances like caffeine or nicotine, it isn’t the addictive substance that’s harmful; it’s how it’s delivered. As South African psychiatrist Mike Russell said about cigarettes: “[People] smoke for [the] nicotine, but they die from the tar.” And again, there’s no tar in e-cigarettes. Does this all mean e-cigarettes are completely safe? Of course not. Nothing is completely safe. E-cigarettes are a relatively new innovation so more research is needed, especially on long-term effects. There’s also a place for sensible regulation to ensure consumer safety. But unlike normal everyday products, any potential risk posed by e-cigarettes is far outweighed by a real – not potential – good: saving lives by providing the nicotine that smokers enjoy without delivering the deadly toxins that can kill them. Many former smokers have successfully used e-cigarettes to help them kick their nicotine addiction altogether. A recent study in an Oxford Journal peer-reviewed publication, Nicotine and Tobacco Research, said that e-cigarettes could reduce smoking-related deaths by 21 percent. That’s thousands of lives every year. For the complete script, visit https://www.prageru.com/videos/whats-wrong-e-cigarettes

10 Ways to Stop Bad Breath and Get Rid of Mouth Bacteria

08:12
How to Get Rid of Bad Breath. Somewhere between 35% and 45% of people suffer from bad breath at some point during their day. In case you’re one of them and are looking for simple DIY remedies for bad breath – we have something just for you. You can keep your breath fresh as it can be following some secret tips and using products you most likely already have. TIMESTAMPS Use natural mouthwashes and breath fresheners. 0:42 Drink at least 0.5 gallons of water every day. 1:48 Try herbal teas. 2:22 Watch what you eat! 2:56 Experiment with essential oils. 3:49 Scrape your tongue. 4:36 Brush twice a day, and floss once. 5:05 Keep your gums healthy. 5:37 Try breathing exercises. 6:06 Chew fruit peel. 7:18 Use natural mouthwashes and breath fresheners. 0:42 Try chewing on fresh mint leaves. Toothpaste and chewing gum smell like mint for a reason: it’s fresh and strong. Spices like cloves, cardamom, and fennel seeds are excellent at fighting mouth odor. Cloves and cardamom both have antibacterial properties – just what you need to kill the source of that stinking odor! Chewing on fennel will aid saliva production and combat any nasty mouth bacteria. Drink at least 0.5 gallons of water every day. 1:48 Keeping yourself hydrated has many health benefits, and avoiding bad breath is just one of them. Saliva prevents bacterial growth, and water is needed to keep the salivary glands working efficiently. Drinking water is paramount when it comes to preventing the bacterial growth and bad breath caused by inadequate moisture and saliva in the mouth. Avoid sugary juices at night because they can aid bacterial buildup during the night. Scrape your tongue. 4:36 Your tongue can be a breeding ground for smelly bacteria. After you brush your teeth, use your toothbrush to scrape your tongue of any bacteria, byproducts from the bacteria, or plaque. You can also use a tongue scraper for this. Keep your gums healthy. 5:37 Bacteria gathers in pockets at the base of the teeth, which creates an odor. Gum diseases are known to cause bad breath. To keep your gums healthy, choose toothpaste that contains fluoride. In case you’ve been looking for another good reason to quit smoking, here it is. Smoking weakens your immune system and is strongly associated with the onset of gum-related problems. Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music SUMMARY -Try chewing on fresh mint leaves. Spices like cloves, cardamom, and fennel seeds are excellent at fighting mouth odor. -Saliva prevents bacterial growth, and water is needed to keep the salivary glands working efficiently. -Make green tea your best friend after water. The antioxidant army in it will easily beat the bacteria troops in your mouth. -Onions and garlic are the most common culprits when it comes to causing bad breath. Also, avoid foods that are high in fructose and acids as they encourage bacterial growth. -You can try gargling with peppermint essential oil, or use clove or orange oil diluted in water for dental emergencies. -After you brush your teeth, use your toothbrush to scrape your tongue of any bacteria, byproducts from the bacteria, or plaque. -Brush your teeth for 2 minutes twice a day, and floss at least once. -To keep your gums healthy, choose toothpaste that contains fluoride. -The proper way to get oxygen into your system is through your nose, not through your mouth. You can try breathing exercises to train yourself to breathe only through your nose. -Chewing a fruit peel will not only give your breath a burst of freshness but the citric acid will also encourage your salivary glands to work more efficiently. How to Get Rid of Smoker's Cough Fast - Smokers Cough Homey Remedy

01:35
How to Get Rid of Smoker's Cough Fast. Have you ever wondered why you cough? When you take a deep breath there are times when your throat will involuntarily shut itself off from air intake. That brief hesitation causes the muscles in your chest and lung to constrict. The resulting action is to cough. Your body performs this service because it is convinced there is a reason for you to cough. This could be due to an illness such as a cold or flu or it could be the sign of foreign matter in your lungs, trachea or bronchial tubes. Your body was designed to keep your air passages as clear as possible. Coughing is a direct response to that inner directive. If you should find yourself in the hospital you will often be given a small handheld devise you will be asked to breathe into. These devices were created to induce coughing. Your health care professional realizes that when you stay in bed long enough phlegm can build up in your body, but isn't eliminated because you are not in a position to exert any pressure on yourself so you don't use your lungs efficiently. That's why they work to force you to cough. For those who smoke it can be easy to cough. In fact morning coughing is not only typical it is often routine. The term generally used for this scenario is "smoker's cough". An individual who has spent much of their life smoking may find they are prone to extended sessions of coughing in the morning. Generally phlegm expulsion is normal and may seem more abundant than it should. In normal circumstances the phlegm will bring up foreign matter for elimination. Smoker's cough only seems to result in the production and elimination of phlegm without the elimination of tar and nicotine residue. Sometimes when a long-term smoker laughs you can hear a rattling sound that indicates a significant buildup of phlegm. One of the reasons it becomes harder for smokers to eliminate mucus has to do with a strange phenomenon that incapacitates a part of the coughing process. Inside your trachea there are small hair like protrusions called cilia. When responding to phlegm normally the cilia will move the phlegm upward where it can be eliminated. Smoking causes the cilia to either be paralized or, in a worse case scenario, destroyed. When the cilia can no longer function correctly the only recourse smokers have is to engage in regular and sometimes harsh bouts of coughing to eliminate what the normal body does easily. Recent research seems to indicate that "smoker's cough" can often lead to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Researchers now believe that the trouble smokers might experience with smoker's cough is a strong indicator of COPD. It appears that smokers cough is not a passing symptom, but an indicator of a potentially greater threat to the health of the smoker. Smokers often respond to their coughing fits by self-medicating with cough suppressants. Many in the medical community strongly discourage suppressing a smoker's cough. For the smoker this action remains the only reasonable mechanism for the removal of phlegm. To suppress the cough only contributes to declining health. Should you quit smoking the cilia inside your trachea can regenerate. You should know that while they regrow and resume their role in your health care management you will likely continue to experience smoker's cough. Once the cilia are fully functional the coughing symptoms should decline. smokers cough, smoker cough, how to stop smokers cough, smoking cough, how to get rid of cough, how to get rid of a cough, cough, throat, health, homeyog, health tips, cough syrup, dry cough, quit smoking, treatment, lung (anatomical structure), mucus, rid, smoker, natural remedy, viagra, how to get rid of a sore throat fast, diy, cough remedies, vaginal odor, sore throat remedies home, how to cure a sore throat instantly, cough remedy, coughing, tobacco smoking (disease cause) About HomeYog: HomeYog is here to help you live life to the fullest. He always enjoyed drinking from 16 y/o and onward. He binge drank but never thought he had a problem. Further, he never saw himself not drinking because it was ingrained in his social behavior and life. In this video men's style, grooming, fitness and lifestyle expert, Aaron Marino of IAmAlphaM, AaronMarino, and Pete & Pedro talks about how he quit drinking by accident. Alpha used to dip tobacco for 16 years. He was crazy addicted and ashamed. He decided to quit in 2010, and he knew he had to quit alcohol because it was a trigger to nicotine. He went from drinking 30 - 40 drinks a week to 10 drinks a year. He loves a bourbon every once in a while as well as wine at a nice dinner. He hasn't been drunk in a LONG time. Ultimately, he has a better respect for alcohol. The moment he stopped tobacco and alcohol everything has exponentially and astronomically changed. All of the sudden, all of the cloudiness dissipated, and it felt incredible! His life is 1,000xs better in every aspect. Changes for Alpha as a Result of Not Drinking 1. He stopped doing stupid things 2. He felt awesome every day when he woke up 3. His mind was so much clearer, and his senses were heightened 4. He became more creative due to not being clouded by a hang-over and not feeling good 5. His productivity sky-rocketed 6. He started making more money due to more focus & productivity (as well as not spending as much money as drinking is expensive!) 7. He looked better including his skin 8. Staying in shape was so much easier after quitting drinking (combine calories from alcohol with crappy food that typically goes along with drinking) 9. He was proud of himself rather than hating himself for being self-destructive 10. He is happier! All of the benefits to not drinking outweigh that beer / wine / bourbon. He wouldn't trade all the money in the world for all of this clarity and sobriety. It's remarkable.

Side Effects of Vaping on health

02:53
Side Effects of Vaping on health https://youtu.be/nYCySx6BP3A When you first make the switch to vaping, there are several effects, that will take place in your body, both positive and, usually temporarily, negative. Most of the negative symptoms experienced during this period are typically associated with withdrawal from tobacco smoke and are not due to the e-cigarettes themselves. A list of tobacco withdrawal symptoms can be found here. Possible Side Effects of Vaping. 1. Dry Mouth, Dry Lips, and Sore Throat. E-liquid, used in e-cigarettes to produce vapor, is a humectant (an agent that attracts moisture), which can dry your mouth and throat, and possibly leave them feeling sore and/or irritated. Increased thirst is also commonly reported by smokers transitioning to vaping. This effect can be combated by increasing daily water consumption, drinking small amounts often over the course of the day, especially when vaping. 2. Headaches, Nausea or Racing Pulse. Negative effects such as headaches, nausea, or a racing pulse can result from the change in the body’s nicotine levels within a short period of time. If you experience any of these symptoms, it’s recommended to lower your nicotine concentration and consult with your doctor. 3. Muscle Pain, Cramps, and Aches. The vegetable glycerine in e-liquid converts to lactic acid in the body, which can sometimes cause muscle pain, cramps, and aches. Most people experiencing this symptom find that drinking more fluids helps to flush the lactic acid from their system, in addition to soothing other effects, such as dry mouth and sore throat. Persistent problems of this nature can indicate an allergy to vegetable glycerin. In this case, medical consultation is highly recommended. 4. Allergic Reaction to Propylene Glycol. A persistent sore throat and muscle pain may also indicate an allergy to propylene glycol, another ingredient in e-liquid. Allergy symptoms may include night sweats, body rash, diarrhea, and a dry, irritated, or a sore throat. If you are experiencing any of these specific symptoms, we recommend you seek the advice of your doctor and switch to a vegetable glycerin (VG) only e-liquid. Thanks for watching this video. My Favorite Brain Hack/Psychological Trick To Stop Your Cravings When You Are Quitting Smoking

04:23
The Bring It On Technique from the book: The Smoking Cure, How To Quit Without Feeling Like Sh*t http://amzn.to/2cGruZB http://www.thesmokingcure.com/ http://carolinecranshaw.com/ I believe the most important skill you need to quit smoking permanently, is to learn how to manage your cravings to smoke. When we give in, to our unhealthy desires, we stay on the addiction merry-go-round. Just because you have an urge to do something, it doesn’t mean you should act on it. 1. Wait until you are craving a cigarette. 2. Take a deep breath and ask that desire to grow as quickly as possible. Continue to breathe deeply as you focus on the craving growing stronger and multiplying throughout your body. You may experience anxiety or intense feelings but deal with it by asking the desire to increase. 3. Now imagine smoking 3 cigarettes at once, and as soon as you finish those, imagine doing it again. Taste the acetone, ammonia, arsenic, butane, carbon monoxide, formaldehyde, insecticide, lead and tar you're pulling into your lungs. Really feel the 4,000 chemicals, which at least 69 of those chemicals are known to cause cancer - burning your tongue, your throat, and your lungs. 4. Imagine indulging your craving until you're sick… The horrible taste in your mouth, the smoke singeing your throat and your lungs. Feel your throat and lungs constricting, your chest hurting as your muscles spasm in protest of the poison you're sucking into your lungs. Your body racked with a coughing fit. 5. Tell yourself you can smoke, but you're going to go hard. Feel the dizziness, your head spinning, and wave of nausea washing over you. Remember how you felt when you first smoked, how you felt lightheaded, your body breaking out in a cold sweat just like before you get sick. Feel how disappointed you would feel if you had a cigarette, how disappointed the people that care about you would be. Within a few minutes, your desire to smoke will vanish or be greatly reduced, and instead, you'll feel calm and accepting of your desire to smoke and know you will be able to handle the feelings that come up when you are craving a cigarette. 6. Repeat every time you have the urge to smoke. Your craving will vanish faster each time, usually in seconds, and be replaced with a genuine feeling of exceptional well-being and energy. This technique works well with anxiety and panic attacks, and any type of craving that you are trying to resist. Part of what causes cravings is that your subconscious believes it needs nicotine to survive since it’s in your system all of the time - like water or oxygen. By asking the desire to increase, you are telling your body and mind that you are okay. Through accepting and not resisting the cravings, you shift them very quickly. There really is something to the 12 step program’s motto of “one day at a time”. Stay in the present. You don’t need to commit to not ever smoking again for the rest of your life, you’re just not going to have one right now. "You can have just one…" your brain may tell you, but it's most likely that you won't stop at one. And then what? You end up smoking for the rest of your life. Do you really want to risk it? Each time you deny the desire to smoke it will be an effort but, in time, the cravings will fade. You won't always be struggling with it. A good acronym to remember is N.O.P.E (Not one puff, ever!) After a while, it may recur only for 30 seconds once every couple of months, but even if the urge strikes for only a few seconds, that's enough time to light up, so it's smart to be mentally prepared. At that moment, you don't want to forget how much you like not smoking.

Throat Cancer Symptoms -- You Need to Know!

04:01
http://utahtexans.com/ Click on the link above for a free video guide to herbal remedies and supplements! Today I'm going to talk about the major throat cancer symptoms and ideas on preventing this health problem. Cancer is a very scary word because it can strike without warning, grow and kill almost like an assassin. The thing with throat cancer is that many of the symptoms do not 100% inform someone they have this medical problem. Sure everyone gets a sore throat at times, but how do you know if it's cancer? This is where you need professional help. The million dollar question is when do you seek medical help? My thought on this question is that a person should see a medical professional the second they feel they should. You know your body better than anywhere, so if something feels serious then there is no point hoping it will go away. It's best to see a professional, that way if there is a problem you can nip it in the bud right away and eliminate it. When problems are left unchecked they grow bigger and cause more damage. One of the most common symptoms of throat cancer would be a sore throat that does not get better in 1 or 2 weeks, even with medicine and antibiotics. Another sign would be an unusual swelling or lump in the neck. Sure, if you recently had an injury there that could make sense, but if it appears out of nowhere that is a cause of concern. If a person has difficulty swallowing then that could be a concern and indicator of cancer. Maybe hoarseness with a person's voice that doesn't improve within 1-2 weeks could be a symptom. Also, abnormal breathing, neck pain and weigh loss all could be indicators of throat cancer. The truth is that nobody 100% knows for certain what causes cancer. Sure smoking cigarettes isn't good for you as well as eating 50 donuts a day. One of the best things someone can do to not only prevent cancer, but stop it would be to take their vitamins. I know it sounds dumb, but many vitamins like the B ones have to do with improving cell health. Plus they play a big role in the immune system that can fight off a cancerous cell. Apart from these vitamins there are a lot of herbal remedies, which can work wonders. If you are interested in how herbal remedies and supplements can improve health I strongly recommend you check out a report and video guide I created. It talks about what someone should be looking for when buying herbs and supplements. Also, it talks about other alternative health strategies and what to take for skincare, fitness and even weight loss. You can learn more about this free guide by clicking on the link http://texasvitamins.com/go/youtube.html.

The key is pressing on the exact opposite part of your next. STEP 1 Rate your pain from a scale from 0 to 10 (10 being the worst, 0 being no pain) STEP 2 Draw an imaginary circle from the sore throat to the back part of your neck. STEP 3 Press equally on the exact opposite points on the back part of your neck. Do this for 2 minutes.
