What Causes Painful, Numb or Tingling Feet?

More Data on Nutritional Yeast Tablets: https://shop.drberg.com/nutritional-y... Dr. Berg talks about painful feet and potential reasons for this. It could be too much uric acid in the body from your kidneys not functioning, too much protein in the diet or even when you start a ketogenic diet, your uric acid levels can temporarily increase in which case you can take lemon juice, citrates or even potassium citrates. However, many times if the feet pain is burning, tingling or numbness, this could related to high sugars. High sugar destroys the nerves, it also depletes the B-vitamins, interfering the nerve conduction in the body. Nutritional yeast is a good source of B-vitamins. Peripheral neuropathy can be helped with the fat soluble B1-vitamin called benfotiamine. PINCHED NERVE in NECK Symptoms, TREATMENT to HELP Pinched Nerve and NECK PAIN, Shoulder Pain CAUSES

15:29
9 Remedies for a PINCHED NERVE: A pinched nerve refers to a certain kind of damage to a nerve or group of nerves. It’s caused when a disc, bone, or muscle places increased pressure on the nerve. It can lead to feelings of: numbness tingling burning pins and needles A pinched nerve can cause carpal tunnel syndrome, sciatica symptoms (a pinched nerve can’t cause a herniated disc, but a herniated disc can pinch a nerve root), and other conditions. Think of it like an expressway. Your spine is like the main on-ramp for the nerve. As the nerve leaves your neck, it has on- and off-ramps throughout your body. A pinched nerve is like a blocked entrance ramp. The compression on the nerve leads to inflammation and irritation, sending tingling, numbness, or a pain sensation down your limb. – Erin Hassett, PT, DPT, OCS, orthopedic physical therapist in Chicago Some pinched nerves will require professional care to treat. If you’re looking for a way to alleviate mild pain at home, here are nine options you can try. Some of them can be done at the same time. What’s important is to find what works best for you. 9 Treatments 1. Adjust your posture You may need to change how you’re sitting or standing to relieve pain from a pinched nerve. Find any position that helps you feel better, and spend as much time in that position as you can. Pinched nerve in your neck For a pinched nerve in your neck, check to be sure that your chin is in a neutral position, not jutting too far forward or pulled too far back. Also make sure your shoulders are in the right position, gently squeezing your shoulder blades together to ensure upright posture. Strengthening scapular muscles like the rhomboids, middle trapezius, and lower trapezius can help better support your neck once symptoms have resolved. The most comfortable position for a pinched nerve in the neck varies, but often lying down helps to alleviate the compression on the nerve. – Erin Hassett 2. Use a standing workstation Standing workstations are gaining popularity, and for good reason. Mobility and standing throughout your day are crucial to preventing and treating a pinched nerve. If you have a pinched nerve or want to avoid one, talk with your human resources department about modifying your desk so that you can stand while working. If you can’t get a standing workstation, be sure to get up and take a walk each hour. Roller balls for tight muscles and an hourly stretching program are a good idea if you use a keyboard frequently. (Wrist braces or supports aren’t recommended as an early treatment strategy.) 3. Rest No matter where you have a pinched nerve, the best thing is usually to rest as long as possible. Avoid the activity that is causing you pain, such as tennis, golf, or texting. Rest until the symptoms have completely resolved. When you do start moving that part of your body again, pay attention to how it feels. Stop the activity if your pain returns. 4. Splint If you have carpal tunnel, which is a pinched nerve in the wrist, a splint can help you rest and protect your wrist. This can be especially helpful overnight so that you don’t curl your wrist in a bad position while you’re sleeping. 5. Stretch Gentle stretches can help relieve the pressure on your nerve and improve your symptoms. Don’t go too deeply into a stretch. If you begin to feel pain or discomfort, ease up on the stretch. Remember that small movements can have a big impact. Anything that makes you feel better you should do, as long as it isn’t increasing your numbness or pain. Try to spend time in the positions that help alleviate the symptoms. Relieving the pressure on the nerve will help decrease irritation and pain. – Erin Hassett 6. Apply heat You can use heat to relax the muscles that might be tight around a pinched nerve. Heat also increases blood flow, which can help the healing process. You can find heating pads in various sizes at a drugstore. Hold heat directly onto the pinched nerve for 10–15 minutes at a time. 7. Use ice Ice reduces swelling and inflammation. Wrap a towel around an ice pack and hold it directly onto the pinched nerve for 10–15 minutes. 8. Elevate your legs For a pinched nerve in your lower back, try elevating your legs with a 90-degree bend in both your hips and knees. You can place a wedge or ottoman on your bed and rest your legs on top while lying on your back. This position helps relieve compression on the disc and nerve in your back. You can also lie on the floor, resting your legs on top of the couch to achieve the same effect. – Erin Hassett 9. Take an over-the-counter pain reliever If you want to try a pain reliever, you can take over-the-counter nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, like ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin IB) or aspirin (Bufferin). Follow the instructions on the bottle, and be sure to check with your doctor before taking any new medications.

I Had No Idea Feeling THIS At Night Could Be So Serious… Thank God I Know!

06:25
Statistics put out by Florida Hospital show that over five million adults in the U.S. suffer from moderate to severe restless legs syndrome (RLS). On average, one in 10 adults suffer from this condition, and over one million school-aged children in the country have RLS. Symptoms include an overwhelming urge to move the legs, and aching, itching, throbbing, and even creeping sensations on the legs at night. Not many physical tests can be done to properly diagnose this frustrating condition, but there are some highly likely causes that are thought to trigger and aggravate restless legs syndrome. In an exclusive look below, we explore some of these causes, and go through a few simple ways you can make changes to your lifestyle, to better remedy your symptoms. From spending time outside to cutting out harmful substances, these tips will undoubtedly help soothe your symptoms. Scroll down to read more about the causes and treatments for restless legs syndrome, and let us know your thoughts in the comments section below! It’s tricky to pin down the exact definition and triggers of RLS, but generally, it can be considered as a type of sleep disorder. It stems from a disorder of the nervous system, and is characterized by an overwhelming urge to move the legs during sleep, according to WebMD. Symptoms include intense burning and itching sensations, aching in the legs, and a throbbing and creeping feeling on the legs. It occurs when a person is resting, relaxing, or sleeping, and normally gets worse as the night goes on. Most people with RLS have trouble falling and staying asleep, and according to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, the condition often leads to extreme exhaustion and fatigue during the day. In the worst cases, RLS can lead to impaired memory and even depression. Though there are no specific tests to diagnose restless legs syndrome, doctors usually observe the symptoms and other possible existing health conditions to determine the severity of RLS. In many cases, genetics play a role in RLS. According to the NIH, many people with RLS also have family members who suffer from the disorder. One of the known factors associated with RLS is that of chronic diseases. WebMD states that symptoms of certain medical conditions including Parkinson’s disease, kidney failure, peripheral neuropathy, and diabetes, among others, are known to overlap with symptoms of RLS. Some medications are known to worsen the symptoms of RLS. Anti-nausea drugs, antidepressants, allergy medications, and antipsychotic drugs all contain some levels of sedatives and antihistamines, making them prime suspects for affecting the nerves during sleep, according to NIH. In some cases, RLS symptoms dissipate after patients stop taking these medications — but remember that it’s always crucial to speak with your doctor first, before doing so. Some women note that they have experienced symptoms of RLS during their pregnancy, particularly during the last trimester, according to NIH. According to the Journal of Midwifery & Women’s Health, about 26 percent of pregnant women in the country have RLS, starting in the third trimester. This could be caused by a range of factors, including mineral deficiencies, hormonal changes, or imbalances in their dopamine levels, according to Healthline. On the bright side, RLS symptoms disappear almost completely within a month after delivery. RLS can probably also be caused by the lack of sleep, insomnia, or fluctuations in sleep patterns. According to WebMD, the most natural way to start reversing these symptoms is to sleep on time and to sleep earlier during the night, and to eliminate as many noises and disturbances as possible. Substances including alcohol and tobacco are also thought to be culprits that may aggravate and even trigger symptoms of RLS. Doctors advise against the overconsumption of alcohol, in case it might intensify already existing symptoms of the condition. There are helpful medications to deal with restless legs syndrome, but the truth is, not all drugs are effective for everyone. Additionally, many medications may start to lose their effectiveness over time. But you can do a variety of things to ease the symptoms. Start by implementing slight lifestyle changes, including simple exercises, a more regular sleep schedule, and the elimination of alcohol and tobacco. You can also massage your legs frequently to ease the irritation. WebMD recommends gently massaging your legs to “counter-stimulate”... 7 Surprising Arthritis Symptoms Everyone Needs To Know! Natural Remedies

7 Surprising Arthritis Symptoms Everyone Needs To Know! Natural Remedies You know sore, achy joints are arthritis's hallmark. But pain isn't the only symptom an arthritis sufferer may have to contend with. In a lot of cases, people notice other things showing up before they ever have pain There are more than a dozen different types of arthritis, and each type is associated with its own set of symptoms. Also, every individual arthritis sufferer may experience the disease in her own way. Why keep an eye out for these symptoms? "Depending on the type of arthritis, if you catch it early your doctor may be able to help you slow its progression Early detection could also give your doc the chance to administer anti-inflammation drugs, or recommend lifestyle changes that will keep you on your feet and active. So what are those non-pain symptoms you need to watch out for? Keep reading. 1. Fatigue You may feel unusually fatigued well before any other symptoms become obvious. Fatigue can precede the onset of other symptoms by weeks or months. It may come and go from week to week or day to day. Fatigue is sometimes accompanied by a general feeling of ill health or even depression. 2. Joint stiffness Stiffness in one or more of the smaller joints is a common early sign of arthritis. This can occur at any time of day, whether you are active or not. Typically, stiffness begins in the joints of the hands. It usually comes on slowly, although it can come on suddenly and affect multiple joints over the course of one or two days. 3. Joint pain Joint stiffness is often followed by joint tenderness or pain during movement or while at rest. This also affects both sides of the body equally. In early arthritis, the most common sites for pain are the fingers and wrists. You may also experience pain in your knees, feet, ankles, or shoulders. 4. Minor joint swelling Mild inflammation of the joints is typical early on, causing your joints to appear bigger than normal. This swelling can also cause joints to feel warm to the touch. Flare-ups can last anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, and this pattern can be expected to increase with time. Subsequent flare-ups may be felt in the same joints or in other joints. 5. Fever When accompanied by other symptoms like joint pain and inflammation, a low-grade fever may be an early warning sign that you have arthritis. However, a fever higher than 100 degrees Fahrenheit (38 degrees Celsius) is more likely to be a sign of some other form of illness or an infection. 6. Numbness and tingling Inflammation of tendons can create pressure on your nerves. This may cause numbness, tingling, or a burning feeling in your hands referred to as carpal tunnel syndrome. The joints of your hands or feet may even produce a squeak or crackling noise as damaged cartilage grinds against joints when you move. 7. Decrease in range of motion Inflammation in your joints can cause tendons and ligaments to become unstable or deformed. As the disease progresses, you may find yourself unable to bend or straighten some joints. Although your range of motion may also be affected by pain, it’s important to engage in regular, gentle exercise. Other early symptoms of arthritis- During the early states of artheritis, you may feel a variety of symptoms, including: general weakness or a feeling of malaise dry mouth dry, itchy, or inflamed eyes eye discharge difficulty sleeping chest pain when you breathe (pleurisy) hard bumps of tissue under the skin on your arms loss of appetite weight loss

Hand Pain ,Fingers pain - Everything You Need To Know - Dr. Nabil Ebraheim

05:40
Dr. Ebraheim’s educational animated video describes possible conditions that may cause pain within the hand and fingers. Hand pain Common hand problems Carpal tunnel syndrome •Pressure on the median nerve causing pain over the wrist and fingers. •Compression of the median nerve at the wrist. •Can lead to numbness, tingling or weakness in the hand and fingers. •These symptoms are found in the thumb, index, middle and half of the ring fingers. •Can lead to atrophy of the hand and finger muscles. Cubital tunnel syndrome •Pain at the small finger and half of the ring finger. •Pain originates at the medial elbow. •Increased pressure on the ulnar nerve at the elbow where the nerve passes under the medial epicondyle or “funny bone”. •The connective tissue over the nerve will sometimes thicken, causing the patient to have numbness and tingling in the little finger and ulnar half of the ring finger. •Ulnar nerve compression below the elbow that can cause a “claw hand”. Osteoarthritis •Pain typically affecting the interphalangeal joints of the fingers and thumb. •Degenerative joint disease causing gradual deterioration of the cartilage forming the joints of the hand. Rheumatoid arthritis •Pain located at the knuckles of the fingers and the wrist bone on the side of the small finger. •Inflammation or irritation causing pain, swelling, weakness and over time loss of the normal shape and alignment of joints. •The joints between the hand and fingers well and move upward ( dorsal subluxation) •Tendons over the joints slip and cause the fingers to bend towards the little finger (ulnar drift). Flexor tendonitis (trigger finger) •Pain may be located in the palm at the base of the finger. •Condition that affects the tendons of the fingers causing the finger to remain in the bent position when attempting to straighten it. •The flexor tendon becomes thick and irritated as it slides through the tendon pulley causing a thickened nodule and triggering of the tendon. De Quervain’s syndrome •Pain is located over the radial side of the wrist. •Pain and swelling over the thumb side of the wrist that may cause difficulty in gripping with the thumb. •Inflammation of the sheath or tunnel that surrounds the two tendons that control movement of the thumb. Basal thumb joint arthritis •Pain is located at the base of the thumb (CMC joint). •Arthritis of the basal joint or thumb CMC (carpometacarpal joint). •Basal joint arthritis results in pain with restricted movement of the thumb across the palm. It is hard to differentiate between De Quervain’s syndrome and basal thumb joint arthritis. Finklestein’s test ( De Quervain’s) and Grind test (basal thumb arthritis). Finklestein’s test •The test is conducted by having the patient make a fist with the fingers closed over the thumb and the wrist is bent towards the little finger. •The hand is pulled so that the involved tendons are stretched, causing sharp, local pain if injury and inflammation is present. Grind test •By axial loading, pushing and rotating the thumb metacarpal bone, grinding may be felt within the joint. Flexor tenosynovitis (kanavel’s sign) •Pain is located in the finger at the flexor tendon sheath. Cardinal signs 1-Uniform swelling of the entire finger 2-The finger is flexed 3-Intense pain when attempting to straighten the finger. occurs early 4-Tenderness along the course of the tendon sheath.

Common Conditions Of The Thumb - Everything You Need To Know - Dr. Nabil Ebraheim

04:32
Educational video describing injury conditions of the thumb.. Many different conditions can affect the normal function of the thumb. It is important to recognize the most common conditions with appropriate treatment can be given. 1-Stenosing tenosynovitis (trigger thumb). One of the most common abnormalities of the hand associated with painful triggering or locking of the thumb. When the patient tries to straighten the thumb, the nodule jams beneath the pulley proximally. 2-Extensor pollicis longus tendon The EPL tendon is responsible for the thumb’s distal interphalangeal joint. When a rupture occurs, the patient will experience loss of thumb extension and this typically occurs due to fracture of the distal radius. 3-Entrapment of the posterior interosseous branch of the radial nerve The posterior interosseous nerve is a continuation from the radial nerve and runs through the forearm. The nerve passes through the supinator muscle of the forearm, found on the outside of the elbow. The nerve becomes entrapped at the proximal edge of the supinator. Injury of the nerve may also be associated with fractures or dislocations of the radial head or the elbow joint. The patient will be able to perform wrist extension, but no finger extension. Patient with a proximal radial nerve injury will lose wrist extension and finger extension including the thumb. 4-Unable to do OK sign The anterior interosseous nerve branches from the median nerve just below the elbow and supplies the deep muscles on the front of the forearm. Typically there will be weakness of the long flexor muscle of the thumb (flexor pollicis longus) and the deep flexor muscles of the index and middle fingers. 5-Injury to the ulnar nerve (Froment’s sign) Cubital tunnel syndrome occurs due to compression of the ulnar nerve at the elbow. As a result of cubital tunnel syndrome, the patient is unable to cross or abduct the fingers. When pinching a piece of paper between the thumb and index finger, the thumb IP joint will flex if the adductor pollicis muscle is weak. 6-Rheumatoid arthritis of the thumb Inflammation or irritation causing pain, swelling, weakness and over time, loss of the normal shape and alignment of the joint. This deformity can lead to the loss of the ability to grip, grasp and pinch. We see athletes anywhere from baseball, triathletes, golfers, basketball, cyclist, runners and so on. We provide Active Release Techniques (ART), chiropractic care, strength training and corrective exercises. The Performance Place Sports Care is located in Huntington Beach, CA. 714-502-4243 An infraspinatus tear will be found with pain in the shoulder joint. Anatomically the infraspinatus is found on the back, attaching inferiorly along the spine of the shoulder blade, also known as the scapula, out to the humeral head where it turns into a tendon. Just below this tendon, the infraspinatus bursa is found. The infraspinatus is part of the rotator cuff muscle group of the shoulders. Other muscles that make up the rotator cuff: Supraspinatus Teres Minor Subscapularis More about the function of the Infraspinatus and who gets a strain of the Infraspinatus? The main function of the infraspinatus is external rotation and stabilization of the shoulder joint along with elevation and depression of the shoulder. The first muscle susceptible to a tear within the rotator cuff muscles is the supraspinatus and following is the infraspinatus. An infraspinatus tear is generally due to an overuse injury that has been putting stress on the shoulder joint and leading to instability and joint laxity. Baseball players and volleyball players are known to have this injury due to the constant overheard motion. Other repetitive stress motion injuries of the infraspinatus can be from driving with the arm held stretched out on top of the wheel or reaching back persistently with a computer mouse. Symptoms of an infraspinatus tear: Pain radiating into the neck and upper back areas and down into biceps Inability to raise the arm above head because of stiffness and feeling numb Weakness in the shoulder Discomfort with sleep when rolling onto side How can an Infraspinatus Strain present and how can it be treated? When observing the shoulder for motion, the patient may experience pain through the range of motion, also known as the arc of pain, which is a positive indicator of a tear. Muscle weakness will come secondary to shoulder pain and you may also observe abnormal motion of the scapula. If a tear is concluded, scar tissue will be built up along the tendon and around the infraspinatus bursa causing a catching or grinding motion of the shoulder. The degree of a rotator cuff tear is difficult to determine without imaging. Some patients may present will decreased range of motion and in a great amount of pain, and some patients may have no pain and have limited range of motion. The first source of imaging is X-ray, however it will not be able to show any soft tissue damage but it will help rule out other conditions. An x-ray will tell you if there is any joint degeneration, impingement from an osseous structure, or arthritis in the joint. Possible treatments for an infraspinatus tear: RICE (rest, ice, compress, elevate) Surgery based on the severity of the tear to reattach the muscle tendon Steroid injections Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory medications Addressing the scar tissue formation in the shoulder joint Stretching Rehabilitative strengthening exercises Addressing the scar tissue and rehabilitation of the shoulder is very important, avoidance of this can lead to further conditions such as frozen shoulder. Warm up of the muscles is important before beginning any strengthening protocol and can be done with stretching such as the doorway stretch or threading the needle yoga pose. Exercises to strengthen the muscles associated with an infraspinatus tear: Resistance band- external rotation motion Face pulls Approximately 6-8 weeks of treatment will be needed, depending on the severity of the injury, to decrease the pain and strengthen the muscles. How does the Performance Place treat a Infraspinatus Strain? At Performance Place Sports Care, we approach injuries in a conservative manner that will give the patient the most weighted benefits. Finger Tingling with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

01:11
WHAT CAUSES OF CARPAL TUNNEL TINGLING? The pins-and-needles sensation of carpal tunnel syndrome is also called carpal tunnel tingling. It happens as a result of the median nerve getting compressed deep inside your wrist joint, in the carpal tunnel passageway. Most symptoms like carpal tunnel tingling do not begin abruptly. Rather, sensations like tingling, burning, itching, numbness start in the palm of the hand and fingers. It is especially pronounced in the thumb, index and middle fingers. Often, your fingers feel swollen, even though they are not. Usually, carpal tunnel tingling appears at night first. Many people must wake up and shake out their hands. As carpal tunnel tingling gets more severe, the sensations last into the day. You might begin feeling a decrease in your grip strength and find it difficult to make a fist or pick up tiny objects. In untreated, the muscles at the base of your thumb will decrease in size. HOW IS CARPAL TUNNEL TINGLING IS TREATED? Relieving the pressure on the median nerve is the only real and effective way to treat carpal tunnel tingling, and you must do so as early as possible. Start by resting your affected hand for at least 3 weeks and avoid activities that aggravate the tingling. Wear a splint or brace when you sleep to avoid damage from twisting or bending your wrist. Most physical or massage therapists confirm that when you have carpal tunnel syndrome, the absolute best remedy is myofascial release massage. A therapist uses their fingers to drain fluids and reduce swelling inside your wrist joint. With repeated treatments the swelling declines and symptoms like numbness and pain vanish. GET THE SAME THERAPY AUTOMATICALLY Engineers and doctors designed the Myo Massager to give you this identical myofascial massage therapy without having to go to a therapist every day. In fact, it’s the only product that can successfully treat carpal tunnel syndrome and wrist tendinitis. Early Signs of Rheumatoid Arthritis

03:59
Early Signs of Rheumatoid Arthritis What is rheumatoid arthritis? Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disorder that causes chronic inflammation of joints. Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) tends to begin slowly with minor symptoms that come and go, usually on both sides of the body, and progress over a period of weeks or months. Symptoms of this chronic disease vary from person to person and can change from day to day. Bouts of disease activity are called flare-ups, and inactive periods are called remission. Fatigue You may feel unusually fatigued well before any other symptoms become obvious. Fatigue can precede the onset of other symptoms by weeks or months. It may come and go from week to week or day to day. Fatigue is sometimes accompanied by a general feeling of ill health or even depression. Morning stiffness Morning stiffness is often an early sign of arthritis. Stiffness that lasts for a few minutes is usually a symptom of a degenerative form of arthritis. Stiffness that lasts for several hours is generally a symptom of inflammatory arthritis and is typical of RA. You may also feel stiffness after any period of prolonged inactivity like napping or sitting. Joint stiffness Stiffness in one or more of the smaller joints is a common early sign of RA. This can occur at any time of day, whether you are active or not. Typically, stiffness begins in the joints of the hands. It usually comes on slowly, although it can come on suddenly and affect multiple joints over the course of one or two days. Joint pain Joint stiffness is often followed by joint tenderness or pain during movement or while at rest. This also affects both sides of the body equally. In early RA, the most common sites for pain are the fingers and wrists. You may also experience pain in your knees, feet, ankles, or shoulders. Fever When accompanied by other symptoms like joint pain and inflammation, a low-grade fever may be an early warning sign that you have RA. However, a fever higher than 100 degrees Fahrenheit (38 degrees Celsius) is more likely to be a sign of some other form of illness or an infection. Other early symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis During the early states of RA, you may feel a variety of symptoms, including: general weakness or a feeling of malaise dry mouth dry, itchy, or inflamed eyes eye discharge difficulty sleeping chest pain when you breathe (pleurisy) hard bumps of tissue under the skin on your arms loss of appetite weight loss See your doctor to get a proper diagnosis if you’re experiencing some of the early symptoms of RA. Three Steps to Take for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

03:36
Hand pain car result from one of a number of conditions broadly called musculoskeletal disorders, or MSDs. When it comes to hand pain, the most common MSDs in the world are carpal tunnel syndrome, wrist tendonitis and repetitive strain injury (also called repetitive strain injury, or RSI). Tens of millions of people are affected worldwide. All three conditions are characterized by pain in the hand, wrist or forearm. The pain is often accompanied by numbness, tingling, burning and a difficulty using your hand. These MSDs occur because the tendons and connective tissues in the wrist and forearm become stressed beyond what they can normally handle, usually due to the hands being over-used. The stressing causes tendons to become inflamed and swollen, and that causes nerve endings to irritate. Carpal tunnel syndrome is a special kind of tendon disorder because the inflamed and swollen tendons exert pressure on the median nerve inside the wrist joint. The median nerve controls sensations from the palm side of the thumb and fingers (not the little finger) and compressing it causes extreme pain and other symptoms. It is extremely rare for symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome to begin quickly. Instead, the symptoms generally start gradually, often with sensations like tingling, burning, itching or numbness in the palm of the hand and the fingers. It is especially pronounced in the thumb, index and middle fingers. Often, the fingers feel swollen, even though they are not. All of these conditions are quite treatable using some simple methods. All in all, if you catch symptoms early, before you find yourself in agonizing pain, you have a better chance of getting rid of them fast and permanently. Proper treatment involves three separate but related steps. They must be performed together in order to relieve symptoms and keep them from returning. First Step: Virtually every remedy for whatever ails you begins with rest. In the case of carpal tunnel syndrome, wrist tendonitis and repetitive strain injury, rest means to stop doing the things that stressed your hand and forearm tendons. It's almost impossible to totally stop using your hands, especially on the job, but if you have these conditions you must do everything possible to refrain from the activity that caused your hands to become stressed in the first place. A proper rest period should last from 2-4 weeks, and longer if your condition is severe. You should also take frequent breaks from doing other hand activities. Second Step: Avoid the hand activity that caused your problem. For instance, many people use keyboards all day, and this could be the source of your hand stress. If so, optimize your workstation, limit using the mouse, and take frequent breaks from typing (even several seconds to shake out your hands helps). Watch your sitting posture and use proper typing technique. Third Step: Deeply massaging your wrist and forearm with technique called myofascial release relieves tendon inflammation and also drains fluid that causes swelling inside your wrist and forearm. Since inflammation is the source of your symptoms, this massage is very effective in reducing swelling and promoting healing. Massage and physical therapists are trained to perform this technique. You must have it at least twice daily for your entire rest period, of 2-4 weeks. If you cannot see a therapist, the medical product called the Carpal Rx performs the same massage automatically and in your home. In clinical tests, 93% of patients saw complete or near-complete elimination of symptoms. That's because the Carpal Rx gets rid of inflammation, which is at the root of carpal tunnel syndrome. And you don't have to visit a therapist every day! Thus, carpal tunnel massage performed using Carpal Rx Therapy is the best and most effective carpal tunnel treatment available. And you can get this relief without surgery! http://www.CarpalRx.com

Carpal Tunnel Finger Pain

00:32
Carpal tunnel finger pain is a term used to describe the painful sensations of carpal tunnel syndrome that occur in your fingers. Carpal tunnel finger pain occurs because the median nerve gets compressed inside the carpal tunnel passageway inside your wrist joint. The median nerve controls sensory information from the palm side of your thumb and fingers (but not your little finger). The nerve passes through the carpal tunnel in between the wrist bones along with several hand tendons. Carpal tunnel finger pain also describes different kinds of pain sensations, like sharp stinging, dull grinding or burning pain. The pain is felt differently in different people and is often accompanied by tingling, weakness or numbness in your hand and wrist. Sometimes carpal tunnel finger pain will radiate up your arm to your elbow. These symptoms usually begin gradually, mostly with the sensations of tingling, burning or itching in your thumb or index finger or your palm. Sometimes your fingers feel swollen even though they aren’t. Also, carpal tunnel finger pain usually first appears at night, waking your up with a need to wring out your hands. As carpal tunnel finger pain worsens, the sensations (mostly tingling) are felt in the daytime as well. As it progresses even further you will likely feel a loss of hand and grip strength and feel clumsy handling small objects. Left untreated, your thumb and hand muscles will waste away. DON’T WAIT UNTIL YOU CANNOT USE YOUR HAND! If you have carpal tunnel finger pain then you should know about the CPR. It’s simply the best remedy you can get today – and it’s VERY affordable. It’s not a medicine that dulls your symptoms but a highly effective technique designed by doctors to widen your wrist joint. That puts traction on your carpal tunnel and gives you immediate relief. Stop your symptoms today. Get the CPR, and get fast relief. http://www.CarpalPainRelief.com

Until I was 20, I ate the typical American diet. While I always loved and ate plenty of fruit and a fair amount of vegetables, I ate pork chops, steak, and roast beef like it was my job. My consciousness began to shift in my early 20s, and by the time I was 26 I had left meat behind for good. 98% of the time I have been dairy-free (ghee–have a weakness for Indian food). For a few years in between 2007 and now, I ate fish/seafood but those days are long gone. I am grateful for this shift in consciousness, even if it took quite a while.”… 22:10 – Farnas – “How can we move our lymph? Sport? Rebounding? But what if my kidneys are not filtering how can I move my lymph?? My whole life I had excessive sweating. I'm a 17 year old female just graduating high school; and I really need your help! I have a question regarding detoxification. I went on all fruit (mostly organic) for over a year; with absolutely no cheating whatsoever. In this time several of my teeth began to rot and I lost all my enamel. With this in mind; I also never felt better. I want to return to this diet; however I am extremely fearful that this will happen again(I spent over 3000 on my teeth to fix it). Thanks!” 45:48 – Susanne – “Hi, my name is Susie and I have had very dry skin since I was a baby. My mum tried to find cures and went to any doctor she could find, but they all only gave her creams and she was/is determined it comes from the inside. I still have not found the cause after 39 years and was wondering if you have any ideas? My skin is dry and cracks in dry cold climate and gets better in the sun. No eczema or sensitivity, get red very easily and extreme points are heels, chins and calves, but all over really.” 50:40 - Nicolas - Are sprouted Fenugreek seeds a good addition to our diet? I read very good things about them, apparently a good expectorant and act as a broom for the digestive track. Any thoughts? Can I do GI broom morning and evening or is it too much? I did it once and I felt very tired the following morning. Maybe too much pulling at once drained my nerve energy in the detox process? But I am wondering what exactly do you consider to be fruits? For instance, I have always heard that foods like cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, squash ect are all considered fruits as well. Is this your belief as well? 01:14:33 – Jenn’sPOV - Thank you. You're so helpful. How does one "go after the lymphatic system"? Since your nervous system controls every aspect of your body, chiropractic can have a major impact on multiple areas of your health. Founded in 1895, it is the world's largest drug-free healthcare system and the 3rd largest primary healthcare system in the USA behind medicine and dentistry. Over 25 million Americans will see their chiropractor this year. This is the practice which is very common in Huntington. The Huntington Beach chiropractor is based on the fact that every structure and function of your body is controlled by the nervous system. If there is interference to the nervous system, then whatever body part or function that nerve was controlling will stop working at 100%. Chiropractor in Huntington Beach is a safe, reliable and effective option available because of which a person can get relief easily within quick span of time. Chiropractors focus on the spine because this is where the delicate nerves are most likely to be compressed or irritated as they pass through on their way to control all parts of your body. The majority of spinal problems arise from physical, mechanical stress to your body such as accidents, injuries, prolonged sitting etc. These stresses and injuries result in stiff immovable joints which in turn cause surrounding joints to become overworked, loose and eventually damaged. The treatment to correct these problems also has to be physical and mechanical in nature. For most people the chiropractic treatments, called spinal adjustments, are not only comfortable but is actually an enjoyable experience. All treatment is geared to each individual's comfort level and the old "No Pain No Gain" approach is never used. It is heartwarming to see children who are so small they can't even get up on the adjusting table by themselves, fighting with their siblings to be the first one adjusted. Pediatricians would be green with envy to see how even the smallest kids are happy to be in the chiropractic office and how they love to get adjusted.

I'm pregnant, and my hands swell, feel numb, and hurt at night. What can I do?

You mentioned that you're about 7 months along and having very numb and swollen hands, especially at night. This can be very uncomfortable and contribute to losing a good nights sleep because you just cant get comfortable. It would be best to bring this up with your ob provider and they can ask you more specific questions and decide if further investigation or treatment is warranted. It is normal to have this during pregnancy because the accumulations of fluids in your body during pregnancy sometimes this extra pressure puts pressure on the nerves of your arms and causes numbness and tingling. Actually some studies show that 35% of pregnant ladies have some degree of carpal tunnel syndrome and it can help if you splint your wrist at night and put it in a neutral position. Sometimes additional treatments are warranted, again this is why it would be good to talk to your doctor and they can decide if these other treatments will work for you. While there are obvious causes equivalent to a traumatic damage of the wrist that can result in carpal tunnel syndrome, most of the time there is no precise explanation for the CTS situation that can be identified. Nonetheless, for anyone who performs work that requires repetitive hand and wrist movement or activities that exert direct and sustained pressure on the wrist (and hence the median nerve), these potentially causative elements will often be named because the culprits. Early Signs of Rheumatoid Arthritis

05:09
Early Signs of Rheumatoid Arthritis. What is rheumatoid arthritis? Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disorder that causes chronic inflammation of joints. Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) tends to begin slowly with minor symptoms that come and go, usually on both sides of the body, and progress over a period of weeks or months. Symptoms of this chronic disease vary from person to person and can change from day to day. Bouts of disease activity are called flare-ups, and inactive periods are called remission. Fatigue. You may feel unusually fatigued well before any other symptoms become obvious. Fatigue can precede the onset of other symptoms by weeks or months. It may come and go from week to week or day to day. Fatigue is sometimes accompanied by a general feeling of ill health or even depression. Morning stiffness. Morning stiffness is often an early sign of arthritis. Joint stiffness. Stiffness in one or more of the smaller joints is a common early sign of RA. This can occur at any time of day, whether you are active or not. Typically, stiffness begins in the joints of the hands. It usually comes on slowly, although it can come on suddenly and affect multiple joints over the course of one or two days. Joint pain. Joint stiffness is often followed by joint tenderness or pain during movement or while at rest. This also affects both sides of the body equally. In early RA, the most common sites for pain are the fingers and wrists. You may also experience pain in your knees, feet, ankles, or shoulders. Minor joint swelling. Mild inflammation of the joints is typical early on, causing your joints to appear bigger than normal. This swelling can also cause joints to feel warm to the touch. Flare-ups can last anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, and this pattern can be expected to increase with time. Subsequent flare-ups may be felt in the same joints or in other joints. Fever. When accompanied by other symptoms like joint pain and inflammation, a low-grade fever may be an early warning sign that you have RA. However, a fever higher than 100 degrees Fahrenheit (38 degrees Celsius) is more likely to be a sign of some other form of illness or an infection. Numbness and tingling. Inflammation of tendons can create pressure on your nerves. This may cause numbness, tingling, or a burning feeling in your hands referred to as carpal tunnel syndrome. The joints of your hands or feet may even produce a squeak or crackling noise as damaged cartilage grinds against joints when you move. Decrease in range of motion. Inflammation in your joints can cause tendons and ligaments to become unstable or deformed. As the disease progresses, you may find yourself unable to bend or straighten some joints. Although your range of motion may also be affected by pain, it’s important to engage in regular, gentle exercise. Other early symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis. During the early states of RA, you may feel a variety of symptoms, including: -general weakness or a feeling of malaise. -dry mouth. -dry, itchy, or inflamed eyes. -eye discharge. -difficulty sleeping. -chest pain when you breathe (pleurisy). -hard bumps of tissue under the skin on your arms. -loss of appetite. -weight loss. See your doctor to get a proper diagnosis if you’re experiencing some of the early symptoms of RA.
