Withdrawal symptoms when you quit smoking cigarettes
I quit smoking during both my pregnancies and then STUPIDLY went back to it a year after having my second child. Even though I have only been smoking for the last 4 months I feel COMPLETELY ADDICTED again and the withdrawal symptoms since I quit smoking 2 weeks ago are very strong. What Happens To Your Body When you Quit Smoking For 1 hour, 1 Day, 1 Month and 1 Year
Already feeling sick and tired of smoking? Considering quitting? If yes, you're not alone! Today, there are a whole lot of reasons to quit smoking and the good news is, it's never too late to make the decision! As we already know, smoking is incredibly bad for your health — it's more like a way drawing yourself closer and closer to the grave! But the good news is, you can quit today and start getting your life back. Yes, the benefits of quitting smoking are almost instant — you're likely to see great improvements in as little as 20 minutes! It's however important to note that quitting smoking can be pretty tough in the beginning, but trust me, it's totally worth it! Just try to figure out a plan to handle those cravings, especially in the first few weeks — do this and you'll be well on your way to a new super healthy life. Here are some of the amazing benefits that come along with your decision to quit cigarettes. After 20 minutes to 1 hour As mentioned earlier, smokers are likely to experience impressive improvements in their health just minutes after quitting the habit. For the most part, after 20 minutes, your blood pressure starts to drop back to normal and overall circulation begins to improve. After 12 hours At this point, you should be aware that the cigarettes are chock full of harmful toxins including carbon monoxide. Of course, this gas is present in cigarette smoke and it turns out that excessive inhalation can be incredibly harmful to the body. What's more, carbon monoxide in cigarettes inhibits oxygen from getting into the lungs and blood, and prolonged inhalation within a short time can trigger suffocation. But the good news is, after just 12 hours without a cigarette, the body gets rid of the excess carbon monoxide and improve oxygen levels. After 24 hours Worried about suffering a heart attack as a result of smoking? If yes, you'll be glad to know that the risk decreases just after one day of quitting. Essentially, smoking lowers good cholesterol which eventually increases the risk of developing coronary heart disease. What's more, smoking raises blood pressure and even increase the risk of stroke. But as mentioned earlier, these risks can be alleviated in as little as one day after quitting smoking. Of course, within a short time, the body's oxygen levels increases making it easier for you to exercise and perform other heart-healthy habits. After 48 hours Smokers are also at risk of having damaged nerve endings; more like the ones responsible for senses of smell and taste. But the good news is, after just two days of quitting, the nerve endings may heal and of course, the person will begin to notice a heightened sense of both smell and taste. After 72 hours Made it to the third day? Well, at this point, the nicotine levels in the body are already depleted. Of course, this is a good thing but you should brace yourself for nicotine withdrawal. In essence, after three days of quitting, there's a high chance of experiencing irritability, moodiness, terrible headaches and even cravings. This is just the way your body readjusts to the change. After 1 month At this point, your lung function starts to improve — you may notice less coughing and less shortness of breath. What's more, you're likely to notice a renewed strength to perform cardiovascular activities including running and jumping. After 9 months After nine months of quitting smoking, your lungs will start getting its life back. For the most part, the cilia would have recovered from the harmful effects of cigarette smoke and you'll notice a significant decrease in the frequency of lung infections. For those who might not know, the cilia are delicate hair-like structures inside the lungs that help fight infections. After 1 to 5 years Right now, your risk of developing coronary heart disease will decrease by half and after five years, blood vessels and arteries will begin to widen. It's good to know that this widening indicates that blood is less likely to clot, and that's great. Of course, this improvement lowers the risk of stroke significantly and it continues to reduce as the body heals more and more. I Stopped Smoking and After 1 Month Here's What Happened
Let's face it; smoking is bad. Besides impacting your health, the habit takes its toll on your appearance, clothes and of course, your wallet! As a new ex-smoker, I can say for sure that smoking affects your body in more ways than one, but the good news is, it's never too late to quit. Of course, after many years of smoking, I decided to take the big step towards cessation. Although it hasn't been easy, I can say that I've been seeing the fruits of my labor — it's really amazing! So far so good, I've stayed away from cigarettes for one month — of course, I started experiencing the incredible health benefits right from day one up until this moment. In this video, I'm going to let you in on how my health changed during the first month of giving up on the habit. And of course, I hope it motivates you to quit smoking once and for all! Here's What Happened After I Stopped Smoking For One Month For starters, you're likely to experience the amazing benefits of quitting in as little 20 minutes — that's just how fast your body heals! Fast forward to one month, I started noticing great improvements in my respiratory health. Yes, I always experienced nasty coughs and shortness of breath in the past. Even cases of sinus pain and congestion was a norm. But the good news is, I've been recovering from these symptoms ever since I quit — one month down the road, I know for sure that I feel better now. Essentially, the moment you stop inhaling cigarette smoke, cilia in the lungs comes back to life. In essence, the delicate lung tissues begin to regrow and function like they ought to. For the most part, cilia help to move particulates (in this case, toxins from cigarette smoke) we breathe in back out of the lungs. But unfortunately, smoking causes them to be clogged with tar. There is physical withdrawal and there is emotional withdrawal. For the physical withdrawal there are nicotine replacement therapies which have nicotine in them and will help you withdraw slowly physically. Nicotine addiction is 80 percent psychological, it's 20 percent physical. Either way it can be a very difficult withdrawal. One of the first suggestions I have is to treat yourself like a little kid, like a child. Get plenty of rest. Eat proper nutritious meals. Nap when you're tired if you can. Take walks around the block. Or, if you live near a body of water or in the mountains, take a beautiful walk and look at the sky. Deep breathe. Breathe in and out. Drink a lot of water. That will also help you with cravings. And the deep breathing will help you when you're feeling panicky and full of anxiety. It's the first thing a paramedic will tell you when you're feeling terrified. When you see a tragic accident a paramedic would tell you, take deep breaths slowly in through your nose and out through your mouth. Well, it works the same way with the nicotine withdrawal. There are many things that you can do to also help you with nicotine withdrawal. Don't let yourself get too lonely. I've already mentioned tired. If you're angry try to deep breathe. Try to talk it out with a friend whatever's going on, because these things can be exacerbated by the withdrawal. You could end up picking up a cigarette instead of dealing with the actual situation. I recommend you try all of these things. Please, reward yourself. Be good to yourself. Don't pick up a cigarette.

So there are wonderful side effects and there are some side effects that are little painful and very uncomfortable at times. Either way they are still side effects. Most people see smoking as just being some bad habit, just one little piece, just one little aspect of their lives that they wish didn’t happen once they are thinking of quitting. However I’m here to tell you that it goes through the threat of your entire life if you are anything like me. I was a pack a day smoker for many years, and I did everything, I smoked over everything, I smoked with everything, so it went through every aspect of my life. So there were great side effects, good side effects, bad side effects and hopeless side effects. Focus on the really good ones. Focus on the fact that you won’t smell bad, you won’t look bad, you’ll have one less thing that people will be getting on your nerves about saying, WHY DON’T YA? That’s always very helpful and in fact that should you’ll be teaching people, if you have children you will be showing them that you can overcome the most difficult things. So those are the good side effects. Some of the bad side effects can be that, well maybe good actually; you might have to get rid of some people in your life. But, some of those people you may not want in your life anyway. Either way you are going to stay away from some people for a little while. Even people you love if they still smoke because that’s too triggering. And the other side effects can be really bad also like a little, weight gain, but I’m here to tell you, I gained some weight, I don’t know if you could see, but I think you can that I’m not crazily overweight anymore. Because one of the good side effects came out of that bad side effect. I gained some weight which made me decide to start exercising, which ended up being a good side effect. So you’re getting the drift? It’s a big life change and it’s a day at a time and it’s a process. So get into your process, don’t be afraid of it, get excited about, of where you are going to end up.

3 Things You Must Do To Quit Smoking Weed

Currently I'm on day 5 of no smoking after 4 years of addiction. Rule 1. You need to break away from your environment, that's one of the biggest fights. In the video i suggest disbanding from friends, temporarily. B But breaking away from your environment means so much more, what are your triggers ? You have to break away from your triggers/environment, for me it was friends, so that's why i recommend temporarily going solo. Rule 2. You need proper sleep. It's a complete bitch to sleep when you're quitting weed. Your brain doesn't produce the chemicals to put you to sleep. If you'll take Melatonin, it will re-create that 1 chemical to help you sleep but it's natural and non addictive. Use it temporarily, the first week is the hardest to sleep. Rule 3. NUTRITION. You must eat, but it's not fun and all food tastes like shit, your body will hate eating and will refuse food. (feeling like throwing up) With weight gainer, i can easily drink down 400-600 calories from weight gainer and not need to eat. You need the calories to stay focused, you can't fight your hardest battle without being well prepared, so nutrition is extremely important. You must eat, if eating is too difficult, you can resort to drinking your meals, like i've been doing. The weight gainer has been my solution to stay well fed and keep focused, without being forced to eat, plus there's no more feelings of throwing up BECAUSE I'M NOT EATING! If you try to quit, these 3 rules will help you so much, but if you're not even at the stage of quitting, then you need to start preparing for when you do quit. Destroy all your paraphernalia, cut your money source and fight because you can't keep going how you have been, it's time for a change.

Everyone goes through different feelings when they quit drinking. Some people have ups and some downs, others will get emotionally charged while others will just feel completely drained. I didn't know what to expect. I knew it was time... I was sure I knew that... I didn't notice any tiredness when I quit... the opposite in fact... I felt invigorated and full of life... The tiredness kicked in after a month or so. I put on a lot of weight over the years and a lot of toxins (mostly from alcohol) are nicely tucked away in the cellulite... Once my weight started to drop off, the previously stored toxins began to be released into my body. Because I'm losing weight, storing the toxins is no longer an option. So my body has no choice but to deal with them. Plus, I felt young and vibrant again. I felt like I was no longer in a 46 year old body, and I was able to push myself. The more I pushed myself, the more I felt I could do.... Plus, I wasn't really getting enough sleep in the first few weeks. I had been using alcohol to knock me out for years... He always enjoyed drinking from 16 y/o and onward. He binge drank but never thought he had a problem. Further, he never saw himself not drinking because it was ingrained in his social behavior and life. In this video men's style, grooming, fitness and lifestyle expert, Aaron Marino of IAmAlphaM, AaronMarino, and Pete & Pedro talks about how he quit drinking by accident. I try to describe ASMR experience to people using something common like visiting a hairdresser, do you find the experience of someone focusing on you, the gentle touching of your hair, the sound of the scissors moving around you relaxing? That would be a relaxing experience, watching ASMR video is like recreating that type of experience.
