Happy New Year!! This last year has been a bit of a whirlwind. We bought our first house, had our second baby, I turned 30, and we celebrated our 10 yr wedding anniversary. It has been an adjustment for sure. Life with two babies and an Ozzy pup has been fast paced and a new adventure everyday. I've always felt this channel was a lifestyle channel revolving around self care and improvement. I guess I'm sharing part of my journey on this channel, and I hope it can become more and more authentic yet still professional in the approach. I feel like I could go into more depth with some of these ideas, and I will continue to do so over the next year. As a mom of two, my day& nights are filled with responsibilities, taking care of two littles + running a household alone side my husband, AND keeping my brain screwed on straight amidst it all.. These are the things I try to include into my life for me. It may sound selfish to some, but I want to show my boys that mom can run and play, work to be better, take care of herself & pursue her dreams and passions. I may not be able to do it as often as I could before I started my family, but little by little is ok with me.

Following My Passion-
A lot of you ask me about singing & music. If you didn't already know a very basic history of my story; my mother is an elementary school music teacher, and my dad is a musician. He is currently touring with Ringo Starr & the band Toto. I grew up singing professionally as a kid session singer for various small Disney projects, nickelodeon, power rangers etc. haha I've just always loved to sing and make music. It's honestly one of my biggest life passions, and has been ever since I could remember. I've written many songs over the years, but I've been experimenting a lot more with writing my own songs more often, and very basic arranging in Logic Pro X. I have edited vocals in pro tools in the past, but I'm a bit intimidated by Pro Tools for arranging anything at the moment. My musicianship skills are a constant work in progress.. I do wish I had the time I had back in college to practice, and funny enough, I didn't practice enough back then. I notice a huge difference when I practice, and sometimes I just can't as much as I know I should to improve. I hardly practived at all for most of my pregnancy and after giving birth. I knew I had to get back into it, and not lose sight. I want to give myself the chance to actually learn a program that will help me have creative control over my self expression. I wanna challenge myself and curate more of my own music. I want to share this part of my journey with you, and for now I've been sharing a lot of my music room journey on insta stories.. I will do a tour of the room once I finish setting it up, but for now I'm just working out the kinks and making a conscious effort to honor my passion—even if it's only for a few minutes a day. We have to push ourselves to do what we can, when we can, and as long as we try our best, that's what matters.
