Getting Headaches When Doing Keto and Intermittent Fasting?

04:12
Take Dr. Berg's Free Keto Mini-Course: http://pxlme.me/-i717vtY Dr. Berg talks about getting headaches on a keto (ketogenic diet) and intermittent fasting. This is a hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) situation, your cells have not yet adapted to running on ketones. The brain is the first organ affected by low blood sugars because it depends on glucose. We are going to talk about headaches in a relationship to doing Keto and Intermittent Fasting. This is really a hypoglycemic type of issue or the low blood sugar situation, your cells have not yet adapted to running on ketones and is still running on glucose. If you implement intermittent fasting and try to go in a long period of time, it drops the sugar. The problem is that low blood sugars add a tremendous amount of stress to the brain, central nervous system and the nerves overall. In fact, the brain is the first organ greatly affected by low blood sugars because they depend on glucose. There is an alternative fuel called ketones but if you don’t know how to do it you are going to run in glucose and if you implement intermittent fasting, you are gonna crash and burn. Headaches are very common symptoms of hypoglycemia but to really know if your headaches are really connected to blood sugars, all you have to do as soon as you start getting headaches is to start to consume some protein because that should instantly improve your headaches and if it doesn’t then it could be another source. The solution to the headaches is to realize that it is a blood sugar thing and go into this more gradually. For example you are going through this and eating twice a day and you are getting headaches, add another meal because you are not ready to go to 2 meals a day. If you are doing 3 meals a day then you might really need to add more protein. Are You Overtraining? | The Effects of Overtraining on Hormones- Thomas DeLauer

04:31
Are You Overtraining? | The Effects of Overtraining on Hormones- Thomas DeLauer: Balancing Workouts, Diet, Career, and Family is all a balancing act, and that's why I specialize in it at http://www.thomasdelauer.com So you found the inner fire inside of yourself and it is go time - time to eat healthy and workout hard! But you have heard that it is good to start slowly and work your way up. It may surprise you that this is not only for the purpose of not injuring your body. Working out is one of the quickest ways to affect your hormone production. Working out is a stress on your body. When you have healthy amounts of stress your body has time to heal and recover, leaving it stronger than it was before. When you do not give yourself that time to recover from stress, this can lead to a whole bunch of issues. We all know that too much stress is a bad thing; chronic stress has been linked to headaches, overeating and obesity, restlessness, illness, and digestive problems. Our body’s stress response is similar when we exercise as when we experience a life stress, such as traffic or losing a job. Signals are sent that queue the release of stress hormones, such as cortisol and adrenaline, into our blood from our adrenal glands. Elevated cortisol levels can signal that your body is undergoing chronic stress, which could be caused by life situations or by over exertion during workouts. One study from the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research found that cortisol levels in saliva were higher for those who underwent long duration, high intensity exercise (over 59 minutes of high intensity cardio.) Studies have also found that a similar increase in cortisol is experienced during heavy weight training workouts. Another study looked at cortisol levels in those performing the same workout under two conditions: no additional emotional stress and additional emotional stress. Those that were exposed to emotional stress at the same time as working out had higher cortisol levels. This signifies the importance of both our wellbeing and our workout load on our hormone levels. Alright, so we see that high intensity exercise can lead to raised cortisol levels. How does this impact us? Overtraining Syndrome: If you work out too hard and do not allow adequate recovery time, you may suffer from OTS. Symptoms include: -Problems sleeping -Disrupted mood and behavior -Fatigue -Hindered athletic performance -Sexual dysfunction - reduced sexual desire, even infertility -Bone loss -Weakened immune system -Difficulty losing weight -Amenorrhea (absence of menstrual bleeding) -Physical injuries What causes these symptoms? One of the large factors is an imbalance in your hormones. Hormones: Chronically high cortisol levels can lead to your body being in a catabolic state, where your body is not breaking down fat but rather muscle for fuel. It can also lead to a weakened immune system. If you have one hormone that is out of whack, it is likely to impact your other hormones. Chronically elevated cortisol levels lead to a decrease in the level of testosterone, estrogen and progesterone. These are the sex hormones, and are very important to our daily wellbeing. These changes reflect a change in the balance of catabolic hormones and anabolic hormones. This danger is particularly of concern for women. When your sex hormones are imbalanced you can experience amenorrhea, when your body enters a state where it no longer is able to menstruate. Eventually the adrenal glands go into a state of exhaustion, known as adrenal fatigue, where hormone production overall is slowed. In this state your body is not as capable of dealing with stress. At this state even your cortisol levels are low, leading to many of the down feelings associated. Tips: If you think you may be experiencing OTS, it may be time to take a step back and do what is best for your body. Give yourself time to recover. If you are experiencing high stress at home or work, do a more relaxing exercise, such as yoga. This can help to reduce your cortisol rather than raise it, which will happen if you run hard for a long time or lift heavy weights. References: 1. 04:42
20 Symptoms That Tell You That You May Have Cancer And You Did Not Know When we feel some discomfort, a slight pain or see some change in our body, we usually have the bad habit of not worrying. When these symptoms get worse, we ask for an appointment with the doctor, but in many cases, the appointments available are for at least two or three weeks. It is therefore important to know that there are certain symptoms that, although they do not seem serious, are indicators that you suffer a more severe disease. These are the 20 symptoms you should be concerned about! 1- Back pain and low back pain Many patients diagnosed with liver cancer claim to have back pain. Sometimes back pain may indicate breast cancer as the tumor presses on the chest and ribs. Whitish nails Whitish nails are often a sign of liver cancer, while brown spots on the nails may indicate skin cancer. In addition to this, the curvature of the nails can be a sign of lung cancer. 3- Puffy face Many lung cancer patients have a swollen or red face due to the fact that lung tumors block the blood vessels in the chest and restrict blood flow to the face. 4- Red, swollen, or tender breasts It is a clear sign of breast cancer 5- Changes in the nipples Changes in the nipple are the most common sign of breast cancer. 6- Painful skin lumps These lumps or bleeding may indicate skin cancer or basal cell melanoma. 7- Painful or irregular period This often indicates uterine cancer, so be sure to check it out urgently 8- Chronic cough or chest pain A persistent cough may be a sign of various types of cancer, tumors and leukemia. Lung cancer causes chest pain that extends to the shoulder and arm 9- Breathing short A potential sign of lung cancer. 10- Fevers and infections Fevers and frequent infections can indicate leukemia, as infectious blood cells remove all energy shields from the body. 11- Inflammation of the lymph nodes, neck, armpits and English Swollen lymph nodes often indicate lymphatic cancer. 12- Fatigue or weakness It is not very worrisome, but if it occurs repeatedly and without apparent cause it can be a sign of cancer 13- Hematomas and hemorrhages that do not stop This is a sign of leukemia, as this disease inhibits the transport of oxygen and leads to coagulation. 14- Difficulty swallowing This problem may be a sign of cancer of the throat, esophagus or lung. 15- Abdominal fat and swelling Weight gain in the abdominal area and swelling are often signs of ovarian cancer. 16- Abdominal or abdominal pain They can be a sign of colorectal cancer. 17- Pelvic pain, cramps around the pelvis and swelling They may indicate ovarian cancer or leukemia, because the spleen is enlarged. 18- Little appetite It is a common sign of ovarian cancer and many sufferers report having less appetite than normal. 19- Hemorrhage in the stool or rectal bleeding They are another sign of colorectal cancer, this is more evident, so you should go to the doctor right away. 20- Sudden weight loss Unexplained weight loss may indicate cancer of the rectum or of some digestive organ. If it affects the liver, it inhibits the body’s ability to remove waste material. https://youtu.be/zlv-69ESPfc

6 Thyroid Pain Symptoms, You Should Not Ignore

06:25
6 Thyroid Pain Symptoms | You Should Not Ignore Descriptions of thyroid pain symptoms: About 4.6 percent of the United States population suffers from underactive thyroid . The risk for developing hypothyroidism and infertility is higher in women over age 50 and postpartum females. If you have multiple signs and symptoms of this problem, ask your doctor to check your thyroid hormone levels and get treatment of thyroid. Here are the signs and symptoms that you have an underactive thyroid. 1. Unexplained Weight Gain Weight gain without any change in diet or physical activity may indicate low levels of thyroid hormones. These hormones help regulate basal metabolism and thermogenesis as well as the metabolism of fats and glucose. An underactive thyroid contributes to a lower metabolic rate, which may cause excess weight gain. If you have unexplained weight gain, it is essential to consult your doctor to determine the exact cause and get hypothyroidism treatment weight loss. 2. Dry and Flaky Skin If you are following your usual beauty and skin care regimen and haven’t changed any of the products you use but your skin is dry and itchy, it could be a symptom of hypothyroidism or thyroid dry skin. The change in skin texture and appearance can be due to reduced blood circulation, one of the side effects of having low thyroid hormones. In addition, a slowed metabolism due to low thyroid hormone production can reduce sweating. Without proper sweating, the skin becomes dry and flaky. As these skin signs are rather nonspecific and often subtle, people tend to ignore them or attribute them to other causes. It is best to consult your doctor to see if there is an underlying health condition causing these skin changes. 3. Muscle Soreness and Pain People suffering from hypothyroidism often experience muscle weakness, pain, stiffness, or cramping. There may also be general joint pain. Low metabolism disrupts how your body burns energy, which can affect how your muscles feel after doing your regular exercises. Low thyroid often increases inflammation that may be contributing to your muscle and joint pain. In fact, about 40 percent of the hypothyroid patients had predominantly sensory signs of a sensorimotor axonal neuropathy early in the course of thyroid disease. 4. Hair Loss hypothyroidism hair loss and Proper functioning of the thyroid gland is essential for the development and maintenance of the hair follicles, and an underactive thyroid can result in significant changes in hair growth and texture. It may also affect eyebrows and body hair. The thyroid hormones thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3) modulate several aspects of hair anatomy, from the hair growth cycle to the hair’s pigmentation. If you are worried about hair loss and other hair-related issues, see your doctor to get your thyroid checked. 5. Constant Fatigue and Tiredness Fatigue and extreme tiredness are very common in people who have an underactive thyroid. When low thyroid hormones flow through the blood, cells do not function properly, leading to less energy, fatigue and constant tiredness. These symptoms persist even after getting proper sleep and rest. A 2012 study published in the European Journal of Endocrinology notes that autoimmune hypothyroidism patients had significantly higher levels of fatigue as compared with differentiated thyroid carcinoma patients health thyroid. 6. Menstrual and Fertility Problems Women with hypothyroidism may experience menstrual as well as fertility problems. Thyroid hormones have a great influence on menstruation, thyroid pregnancy, lactation and even uterine involution after childbirth. In fact, the study puts emphasis on the assessment of thyroid function in all patients with menstrual disorders to avoid unnecessary interventions like curettage and hysterectomy. Infertility can also be due to undiagnosed thyroid conditions. For any change in menstrual pattern as well as problems becoming pregnant, it is important to get your thyroid checked. Symptoms of Female Hormone Imbalance & Impact on Weight Loss

07:07
http://getleantoday.com - Dr. Raj Banerjee introduces a series of videos that show you step-by-step how to stop your suffering and literally hand your life back to you - no matter how hard you've tried before. Here are the tough but true facts: - North America is facing an epidemic of obesity and chronic diseases. - 50 percent of Americans will have some form of cancer in their lifetime. - One in six Americans is either pre-diabetic or diabetic. - 66 % of Americans are overweight. - Over ten million Americans are taking anti-depressants. - 50% of people over 85 will have Alzheimer’s Disease. - Someone dies of heart disease every 34 seconds. - One in six Americans suffers from an Anxiety Disorder. - For the first time, in the history of our species our life expectancy is going down. That means that our children will get sicker and die younger than their parents. Dr Raj is going to share with you how you can make it stop and how he can help you feel yourself again! What are the symptoms of Hormone Imbalance that Dr Raj can help with? Fat, fatigued, depressed, food dependency, compulsive overeating, chocolate craving, bread or carbohydrate cravings, low sex drive, cry easily, PMS, mood swings, hot flashes, night sweats, insomnia, irritability, sweet cravings, bloating, fluid retention, gas, weight gain without changes in diet even when you are exercising more, drinking alcohol or wine daily to relax cramping, irrational thoughts, anxiety, waking up at night around 2 to 4am, poor bladder control, osteoporosis, breast cancer, heart disease, infertility, irregular cycles, poor reactions to estrogen. The first 3 are the most common: Fat, fatigued and depressed. Here's the summary of hormone imbalances. Putting on weight that you can’t lose with all the typical strategies you have done in the past. Being tired all the time. Even though you are getting enough sleep, so you shouldn’t be tired. And having low mood, or depression. Those are the cardinal symptoms of adrenal exhaustion and female hormonal imbalances. He shares a case study of Sara, a big, beautiful, 40 some year old woman who charged into his office and demanded to know what Dr Raj can do to help her. Watch how he helped her figure out the cause of her hormone imbalance and safely and naturally led her to a healthy balance. Mary is another client case. She was on very heavy dosage of HRT, a synthetic hormone therapy, She had hot flashes and night sweats. And her symptom? She wanted to kill her husband, though she had a great marriage, and been married for 27 years, but couldn’t stand him. Dr Raj helped her make a transition from synthetic hormone to natural hormone over the course of 6 months. She now wants to get off the natural hormones because she feels in control. Her mood and energy is great, her sex drive is back, and she is happy with her husband again. She has made a transition in her life, from heavy dependency on a synthetic hormone to dependency on a safer, natural hormone to even thinking about stopping that. Its pretty simple once you do the detective work and find out what is actually causing your problem. and fix the underling cause and not just the symptoms. Dr Raj wants you to know ovarian hormones and female hormones do not spontaneously malfunction by themselves. They are responding to stress as a stress hormone called cortisol. Every molecule of cortisol that you produce comes from progesterone. When you under stress guess what happens? Your cortisol goes up and your progesterone drops. Dr Raj can test your cortisol and fix it. He can test your female hormones and fix your whole hormonal system at the same time and eliminate all your symptoms. This will help eliminate depression and fatigue, night sweats, hot flashes, mood swings and it will improve your metabolism so you will able to start losing weight effectively. 7 Symptoms of Dangerous Diseases Many Women Ignore

08:21
How to Prevent Serious Diseases in Women. Prevention is definitely better than cure when it comes to serious diseases such as diabetes or even cancer. How can you know when something’s seriously wrong when everything seems so normal to you? In fact, there are some pretty obvious signs of dangerous diseases developing most women simply ignore. Pay attention to the list of signs of health problems we underestimate to protect yourself and stay healthy. More frequent urination 0:35 Increased urination can be a sign of something more than just problems with your kidneys or urinary tract. It can point to hormonal imbalance or indicate that there’s something wrong with vaginal pH levels. Constantly feeling thirsty and urinating more frequently can also be a symptom of diabetes. Unexplained weight loss 1:24 If you've all of a sudden lost a few pounds in a short period of time, hold off before you start celebrating your new dress size. Unexplained or unintentional weight loss is often a sign that something’s not right in your system. According to tons of medical resources, it could be a symptom of Crohn’s disease, type 2 diabetes, or even cancer. If you’ve lost 10% or more of your total body weight in the past 6 months without changing your diet or exercise habits, it's time to sound the alarm and see your doctor. Any changes in the breasts 4:33 Just like with your weight, if you notice any sudden changes in the look, size, or feel of your breasts, don’t take them lightly. The thing is, the first signs of breast cancer can be really hard to notice. And when it comes to pain in the breasts and lymph nodes, it can already be too late. So don’t underestimate the importance of doing monthly self-examinations. This can help you catch breast cancer at an early stage. According to the American Cancer Society, swelling, skin irritation, breast or nipple pain, thickening of the breast skin, and lumps can all be symptoms of breast cancer. Heavy periods 6:23 Having extremely heavy periods is reason enough to get concerned about your health. The possible causes of it can be pretty simple, like a hereditary condition, seasonal changes, or pushing yourself too much at the gym. But the reasons can also be very serious, such as uterine fibroids, endometriosis, thyroid dysfunction, and uterine cancer. Even if you’re convinced that it’s just hereditary, you should still see a doctor since heavy menstruation can easily lead to anemia. Music: End of Time - Ugonna Onyekwe https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music TIMESTAMPS More frequent urination 0:35 Unexplained weight loss 1:24 Excessive body hair 2:12 Bleeding after menopause 3:20 Any changes in the breasts 4:33 Abnormal discharge 5:40 Heavy periods 6:23 SUMMARY -Increased urination can point to hormonal imbalance or indicate that there’s something wrong with vaginal pH levels. -Unexplained or unintentional weight loss could be a symptom of Crohn’s disease, type 2 diabetes, or even cancer. -Excessive body hair can lead to such unpleasant consequences as infertility, a metabolic disorder, or even an increased chance of developing breast- and uterine cancer. -Bleeding after menopause can be a result of uterine cancer, cervicitis, uterine fibroids, and other dangerous conditions. -Don’t underestimate the importance of doing monthly self-examinations. She was seriously ill and didn't absorb the nutrients she was eating so she lost a lot of weight. But that was not the only problem because she also had headaches, hair loss, brain fog, unwanted gut bacteria and chemical sensitivity. She was diagnosed with adrenal fatigue and she worried that she was going to die. Then she came by a shop called Arnolds Way and Arnold convinced her to try raw fruits and vegetables. Even though she didn't believe in it she gave it a chance and within two weeks she felt a lot better. Now 5 years later she has her health back and inspires others to do the same. ----------------------------------- ABOUT FRUITY LOUISE ----------------------------------- Louise aka FruityLou is a Danish coach, speaker, author, television journalist and event maker. She used to be really ill herself but got well through a diet and lifestyle change. She has written the two most comprehensive books on natural healing and the 80/10/10 raw food diet published in Scandinavia. On top of that she has also written three e-books in Danish where her first one, the 'Get started Guide' has been translated into English - http://fruitylou.com/get-started-guide. Amongst others the doctor told her she had so severe cell and DNA damage that she was close to cancer and that she probably could not get pregnant either. Being a television journalist she knew that she had to research to find a new solution. She promised herself that if she ever got well she would use it in a positive way to help others and luckily she did. In 2009 she came across a super healthy diet and lifestyle that became the turning point in her entire life and in only a few years she healed herself naturally without any treatment or medication. Today she feels better than ever and she has dedicated her life to inspire and help others get their life and happiness back too. HIV signs and symptoms

02:15
HIV signs and symptoms HIV symptoms vary depending on individual and stage of disease. Acute Retroviral Syndrome - ARS 2 to 4 weeks after initial HIV infection a person may start developing symptoms. This is called acute retroviral syndrome or ARS. Common symptoms of ARS include fever, swollen glands, sore throat, rash, fatigue, body pains and headache. You should not assume you have HIV if you have any of these symptoms. These symptoms can be also caused by other illnesses. Conversely, not everyone who is infected with HIV develops ARS. Many people who are infected with HIV do not have any symptoms at all. Clinical Latency Stage The disease will progress to clinical latency stage where the virus is developing in the body but no symptoms are seen. During this stage, HIV in the body multiplies and causes the immune system to weaken; as the viral loads increases, CD4 decreases. When CD4 decreases, a person will be prone to opportunistic infections. Since a person with HIV can remain symptom free, it is impossible to know his or her HIV status without a HIV test. If you are on antiretroviral therapy (ART), you may live with clinical latency for several decades because treatment helps keep the virus in check. For people who are not on ART, this clinical latency stage lasts an average of 8 - 10 years, but some people may progress through this phase faster. Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome - AIDS HIV progresses to AIDS when your immune system is seriously damaged. AIDS can cause severe symptoms including rapid weight loss, recurring fever, profuse night sweats, extreme tiredness, swollen glands, diarrhoea, mouth sores, lung infections and neurological disorders. It is impossible to know your HIV status unless you get tested for HIV. Dehydration Symptoms, Signs You Need More Water

03:14
http://serious-fitness-programs.com/weightloss Follow Us On Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TheSeriousfitness Ever felt so thirsty that you are wondering if this is a sign that something is wrong? Have you ever noticed an abnormal drop of your body weight? Feeling weak and lethargic? Perhaps the cause of all these symptoms and more is Dehydration. Dehydration is nothing minor to play with and if you don’t pay attention, it may even threaten your life in extreme cases. In this video we will discuss the common dehydration symptoms and signs. Dehydration basically occurs when you lose an excess number of water and fluids from your system. There are many things that may cause this. One cause is intense workout which expels much of your body’s fluids through sweat. If fluids are not replaced by drinking water, you can become dehydrated. Another common cause that leads to dehydration is when you are exposed to hot environments. Heat causes in this case a rise in internal temperature and your body has no other option that to sweat to compensate for the heat, which of courses expels liquids out of your system. Nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea are also conditions that may cause dehydration and you are making matters worse if you fail to drink water when while nauseous. Many will ask at this point--how do I know if I’m dehydrated? Apart from obviously feeling thirsty, you may experience many different symptoms that show that you are not properly hydrated. A common symptom is memory lapses. Since our brains are made up from 90% water, they are the first organ to show signs of dehydration which will come in the form of memory lapses, headaches and possible dizziness. Another sign of dehydration is if you pee in an infrequent basis or if your pee has a strange color. Yes, it may sound disgusting but its actual color actually gives you a hint on the status of urine and water in your system. If it’s a pale orange or brown color instead of pale yellow, it probably means that you are dehydrates beyond normal levels. Performance-wise, you may notice that you really struggle to make it through the gym or a sport game. Our bodies need water to oxygenate the blood and if oxygen levels fall, our body’s performance and energy will simply suffer. Finally, take a look at your skin’s condition. Since our skin is the largest external organ connected to internal circulation of liquids and nutrients, anything we put or don’t put in our systems will have a great impact on how our skin looks. If you have noticed that your skin looks dry, rough, patchy, or less stretchy than before, dehydration might be among the top causes. So how do you keep dehydration at bay? By ingesting a good portion of fruits veggies with a high water content and low calorie drinks and plain water without any sugars and fat. Dry and processed junk food as well as alcohol are also a big no-no as they exaggerate dehydration issues and make your system expel liquids faster. 20 early warning signs that cancer is growing in your body

04:14
20 early warning signs that cancer is growing in your body 1. Wheezing/shortness of breath Lung cancer patients remember noticing this as one of their first symptoms but didn't initially connect it to cancer. 2. Frequent fevers or infections Frequently a sign of leukemia, a cancer of the blood cells that starts in bone marrow. It causes the marrow to produce abnormal white blood cells that hinder your body's infection-fighting abilities. 3. Difficulty swallowing Most commonly associated with throat cancer, but can be a good indicator of lung cancer too. 4. Weakness and fatigue Such a common symptom of cancer that it should be looked at in combination with other symptoms to determine which it is. 5. Feeling full and unable to eat This is a sign of ovarian cancer. A loss of appetite even when you haven't eaten for a while is a tip-off. 6. Anorexia Could be an early sign of pancreatic cancer. A sudden disgust for coffee, wine or smoking can be linked to this as well. 7. Rectal bleeding or blood in stool Common sign of colorectal cancer. Blood in the toilet should be a big enough sign to see a doctor immediately. 8. Lumps in the neck, underarm or groin area Swollen lymph nodes indicate changes in the lymphatic system which can lead to cancer. 9. Excessive bruising or bleeding that doesn't stop Suggests abnormalities with the platelets and red blood cells, which can be a sign of leukemia. Leukemia cells crowd out red blood cells impairing your blood's ability to carry oxygen leading to clots. 10. Bloating or abdominal weight gain Ovarian cancer patients reported unexplained bloating that came on suddenly and continued for a significant amount of time. 11. Unexplained weight loss An early sign of colon and other digestive cancers. Also a sign of cancer that has spread to the liver, affecting your appetite and the body's ability to get rid of waste. 12. A red, sore, or swollen breast Indicates inflammatory breast cancer, unexplained changes should be told to a doctor immediately. A nipple that appears flattened, inverted or turned sideways had also been noticed by patients diagnosed with breast cancer. 13. Swelling of facial features Lung cancer patients have reported noticing puffiness, swelling or redness of the face. Small cell lung tumors commonly block blood vessels in the chest preventing blood from flowing freely to the head. 14. Sore/lump on the skin that bleeds, becomes crusty or doesn't heal Different types of skin cancer (melanoma, basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma) can cause these, so be aware of any odd-looking growths or spots. 15. Changes in nails A brown/black dot under the nail can indicate skin cancer. Pale or white nails can be a sign of liver cancer. "Clubbing", which is the enlargement of the fingers with nails that curve down over the tips, can be a sign of lung cancer. 16. Unusually heavy or painful periods, bleeding between periods A common sign of endometrial or uterine cancer. A transvaginal ultrasound should be considered if the problem persists. 17. Chronic cough or chest pain Leukemia and lung tumors (among others), show symptoms that can mimic a bad cough or bronchitis. Some patients also reported a chest pain that extended to the shoulder and down their arm. 18. Pelvic/Abdominal pain Pain and cramping in the pelvis can be linked with the bloating signs of ovarian cancer. Leukemia also does this because it enlarges the spleen. 19. Pain in back or lower right side Often an early sign of liver cancer. Breast cancer can also be found through this as a breast tumor can press backward into the chest or spread to the spine/ribs. 20. Upset stomach Stomach cramps or a frequently upset stomach can be a sign of colorectal cancer. Subscribe ► https://goo.gl/1dVtUS Thank you for watching. Liver damage is serious and can even be fatal, so it's important to recognize what the symptoms are as soon as possible. Generally speaking, there are often no early signs of liver damage. The liver is a remarkable organ that can continue to function even though it has suffered significant harm from any number of biological or chemical threats and diseases. It can literally take years before any symptoms of liver damage present themselves. When liver damage symptoms do begin to appear, however, they usually include one or more of the following: abdomen pain in the upper right part of the stomach abdominal distention, caused by a condition called ascites, which is the buildup of fluid in the abdominal cavity darkened urine depression, malaise, or a vague feeling of illness diarrhea fatigue and listlessness generalized itching hypoglycemia or low blood sugar jaundice, which is apparent in a yellowing of the skin. Jaundice is often the result of cholestasis, which is the blockage or stoppage of bile flow. Jaundice is often the first symptom of liver damage. light-colored stools loss of appetite lowered of sex drive low grade fever muscular pain and aches nausea unusual weight loss or weight gain varicose veins (enlarged blood vessels) vomiting Sleeplessness, confusion and mental disorientation are symptoms of severe liver problems. The patient may even go into a coma Although liver damage may be caused by physical trauma, such as a severe blow to the body, it more often occurs gradually as a result of liver disease or some other form of liver disorder. These typically include hepatitis B, hepatitis C, over indulgence in alcohol, cirrhosis, poor diet and nutritional habits drug abuse, including an overdose of acetaminophen and reactions to certain prescription medications. Certain foods can cause liver damage, especially poisonous mushrooms. Alcohol abuse is, of course, one of the most prevalent causes of liver damage around the world. And even overuse of certain over-the-counter drugs may harm the liver. And then there are illegal drugs that can be especially devastating. Once again, the liver is an extremely efficient, sturdy and resilient organ, liver damage symptoms may not begin to appear as soon as damage begins.
