How my parents lowered their cholesterol by 30 pts in 30 days - no diets or drugs. An all natural alternative to statin drugs. ►►►http://drsam.co/yt/NoMoreStatin =============================== 5 Important & Clinically Proven Reasons You Should NOT Take Statin Drugs =============================== Statins are HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors. They work by blocking the enzyme (HMG-CoA reductase) in your liver, that is responsible for making cholesterol. Now, this is very important topic to me personally, because over 15+ years ago my parent’s were prescribed these toxic drugs and they had a ton of negative side-effects. Unfortunately back then, we didn’t have all the data we have now. The pharmaceutical companies did a great job of hiding them. Today I’m going to reveal the top 5, clinically proven reasons, why you should NOT take statin drugs and one of my favorite, natural alternatives that my own parents use. Reason #1 - They DON’T Work! Statin drugs DO lower your cholesterol levels, but don’t think they lower your risk of heart disease, heart attacks or strokes. Based on the statistics of “Relative Risk Reduction (RRR)”, statins reduce the risk for only 1% of the population - that’s it!8 Reason #2 - Increase Your Risk Major Disease, Including Cancer! Statins increase your risk for diabetes. And what’s interesting is that over 50% of people who have heart disease, have elevated glucose and blood sugar levels. So the irony is that the statin drugs will indirectly INCREASE your risk of heart disease by increasing your blood sugar levels. Statins also cause neurodegenerative diseases, such as memory loss, Alzheimer’s, Huntington’s and Parkinson’s. Statins also cause musculoskeletal disorders, leading to muscle pain and weakness (myalgia), muscle cramps and other muscular problems. Statins also cause cataracts, which is a clouding of your eye lens and is a main cause of low vision among the elderly. Finally, statin drugs are known to cause cancer. Reason #3 - Deplete Important Nutrients Statin drugs deplete two very important nutrients in your body. The first is Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10). CoQ10 is used for energy production by every cell in your body, and is therefore vital for good health, high energy levels, longevity, and general quality of life. What’s important to know is that your heart is the most energy-demanding organ in your body. By depleting CoQ10, your heart slowly becomes weaker and ages faster. In addition to CoQ10, statin drug also reduce Vitamin K2. This is important for you to know because Vitamin K2 protects your arteries from calcification. Without it, plaque levels worsen. Reason #4 - Liver Problems & Toxicity Of all the negative side-effects associated with statin drugs, the most common was “drug induced liver injury”… This accounts for a whopping 57% of all statin related “adverse drug reactions”, which included potentially severe and some cases, deadly consequences such as: Death from acute liver failure Liver transplantation Jaundice Liver problems are so bad with statin drugs that each year there are millions of people diagnosed “moderate to serious liver dysfunction”! Remember, your liver detoxifies and cleanses your entire body. Poor liver function greatly accelerates aging! Reason #5 - Natural Alternatives Exist You don’t need to take statin drugs because natural alternatives already exist. Nature already has the answers, NOT the pharmaceutical companies. I’m sure you already know this…. Drugs can be used SHORT-TERM, to quickly improve a health problem … TEMPORARILY. But positive, long-term benefits can only be seen and felt using natural means. This way, you have a proven, simple and convenient solution for your high cholesterol, while being so much safer than statin drugs. Mayo Clinic Minute: Should You Take Statins?

01:07
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than 100 million Americans have high cholesterol. Statins are medications that lower cholesterol levels. But, who should take them? A study in the New England Journal of Medicine reports that statins lower the risk of cardiovascular events in people at medium risk without cardiovascular disease. In this Mayo Clinic Minute, reporter Vivien Williams talks to cardiologist Dr. Stephen Kopecky about statins and the study. Stopping Statins pt1 (Lipitor, Simvastatin...): There are many reasons to stop statins. Is it SAFE?

15:47
ford brewer md mph Info@PrevMedHeartRisk.com There are many reasons to stop statins, ranging from side effects to cost to fear to the need to switch to a more effective statin. Two studies are mentioned: one saying that it's safe to stop statins, and another says it's not. Although these studies, like all studies, have problems. But I think they both reflect biologic medical realities. The study showing safety was on stable patients. The study showing danger in stopping statins was on patients post strokes. Plaque instability is systemic; there is no such thing as one vulnerable plaque. The VULNERABLE PLAQUE THEORY is rapidly dying. Therefore the patients in the post-stroke study selected for patients with an arterial tree full on unstable plaque. The study showing safety selected for patients with stable plaques. Plaque instability appears to be a cyclical phenomenon, with cycles taking many months. So I would love to see a 2 year follow-up on the study showing safety in stopping plaques. I bet it would show regression to the mean. About Dr. Brewer - Ford Brewer is a physician that started as an Emergency Doctor. House Call: Should I Stop My Statins?

03:20
You've probably heard of Lipitor, Zocor, and Crestor. You may even be taking one of these cholesterol-lowering drugs, which are known as statins. They are the most commonly prescribed medication, and for years, they've been touted as the best way to manage cholesterol. Now top Harvard cardiologists are questioning current cholesterol guidelines. The data to support this claim isn't as solid as we thought, and we are now seeing that statins can cause some serious side effects, such as: • Muscle pain, damage, and aching • Mitochondrial damage • Type 2 diabetes • Neurologic problems such as memory loss • Sexual dysfunction Watch or read this week's House Call with me, Dr. Hyman to learn more about the health risks associated with statins and to find out how you can lower your cholesterol naturally. Learn more about how to take care of your heart in a way that supports your health rather than damages it. Wishing you health and happiness, Mark Hyman, MD

Side Effects Of Cholesterol Medicine

03:10
Hi! I'm robo-Suzie and today I'll talk to you about Side Effects Of Cholesterol Medicine. Also don't forget to subscribe for more tips in the future! But back to our topic. Any prescription medication can have side effects. Most of these are not pleasant. The reasoning of why we put up with these side effects is that it is better to deal with them than the condition which the medication treats - in this case, elevated cholesterol levels. Such drugs work to lower cholesterol which, in turn, reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease. There are two popular classes of drugs used to treat high cholesterol. They are specifically aimed at lowering LDL cholesterol. One is the group known as statins and the others are bile acid sequestrants. The most well known of the latter group is Niacin (nicotinic acid) which comes in both prescription form and as a dietary supplement. Popular statin brands are Lipitor, Crestor, Zocor, and Pravachol. Both classes of cholesterol medicine can have troublesome side effects. Higher doses of statins may be associated with a greater risk of side effects such that side effects tend to be dose-related and may disappear after reducing the dosage or, if necessary, withdrawing the medication. However, even if side effects are experienced, cholesterol medication should not normally be discontinued without consulting a physician. But speak to your doctor immediately. Do not wait for your next visit. Side Effects Of Cholesetrol Lowering Drugs include: Constipation. Nausea. Loss of appetite. Pain in the upper right part of the stomach. Fever. Flu-like symptoms. Hoarseness. Extreme tiredness. Lack of energy. Rash, hives or itching. Muscle pain, tenderness, or weakness. Yellowing of the skin or eyes. Unusual bleeding or bruising. Difficulty breathing or swallowing. Swelling of the face, throat, tongue, lips, eyes, hands, feet, ankles or lower legs. Lowering Cholesterol Medication Should Not Be Taken In Isolation. In addition to taking a cholesterol-lowering medication, making certain changes in your daily lifestyle can also lower your cholesterol blood levels. Eating a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol with little to no grains and sugars and exercising for 30 minutes on most, if not all days, will make a big difference. As will losing weight if you are overweight. Eliminating sugar and grains will inevitably cause beneficial side effects, such as normalizing your weight, increasing your energy and lowering your blood pressure and triglycerides. Lifestyle changes will work in the majority of cases of high cholesterol so why not try those first and give yourself the chance to avoid the cholesterol medicine side effects. Your physician will be able to advise you on this. That's it! Thank you. Please subscribe, comment and like this video if it was helpful! See you soon!

Among the risks of statins, it blocks the enzymes that produce cholesterol. Why is that important? It's because your body makes cholesterol naturally everyday for vital functioning of your body. Without it, your body will start to break down. It's one thing to lower your cholesterol in your diet so you have the normal levels of cholesterol, but it's completely different to make your body stop producing it altogether. Lipitor

28:33
Reducing cholesterol levels with Lipitor or its generic version atorvastatin may reduce risk of atherosclerosis or fatty deposition in the vessel walls. The new theory is to simply take the pill based on initial cholesterol levels and not pay too much attention to the final level. Some even more recent ideas question cholesterol as a major precipitant of cardiovascular disease.

Cholesterol Animation: Stop Killing Yourself With Statins (Lipitor, Crestor, Zocor)

03:11
Statin drugs block cells from replicating. This induces a life-saving reflex in cells which causes cholesterol to exit the blood and enter the cells of tissues and organs. Blood cholesterol lowers (your doctor is happy!) but cells are being poisoned by cholesterol toxicity and by blocking DNA replication and cell reproduction. All cells die and that is why they replicate. If cells cannot replicate, they die. There are various ways that statin drugs, for lowering blood cholesterol, kill cells -- and you are the sum of your cells. Read all about how you've been sold a deadly bill of goods in the easy-read book "Serial Killers" or the expanded book written for concerned attorneys and caring physicians: "How Statin Drugs REALLY Lower Cholesterol (And Kill You One Cell at a Time)" available at Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com.

Taking Lipitor? Consider CV inflammation

13:14
ford brewer md mph PrevMedHeartRisk.com Inflammation was shown to be an independent risk factor for heart attack and stroke for years. Even in the MRFIT study and Framingham, over 20 years ago - showed that elevated CRP causes heart attack and stroke. Paul Ridker and Gavin Blake noticed in the WOSCOP trial that the decrease in heart attacks and stroke were higher than you'd expect from the impact on LDL and the minor impact on the size of the plaque. Also, they noticed an improvement in the major available marker for inflammation (at that time) C reactive Protein. So they designed the JUPITER study and published it in the New England Journal. They selected only people with low LDL and high CRP. They had a big decrease in heart attack and stroke. Paul Ridker made the headlines in August 2017 with the topic of inflammation and CV risk. The study was CANTOS, using the major anti inflammatory drug Ilaris. It made a big decrease in not only heart attack and stroke, but even with cancer. Unfortunately, the number of lives saved from prevented heart attacks, strokes and cancer were all given back with increased deaths due to serious infection. That's not surprising; Ilaris is a heavy duty anti inflammatory used to stop inflammation associated with major auto immune diseases. That level of anti inflammation is likely to cripple the body's immune system. In these cases, it resulted in death due to serious infection. Are you one of the millions of people who has taken the cholesterol-lowering drug called Lipitor? If so, you'll want to watch this video about the increased risk of developing type 2 diabetes. For more information, visit our website at http://www.lawmed.com/. And don't forget to watch our other videos at http://www.youtube.com/hensonfuerst/. (Principal office of Henson & Fuerst, PA: 2501 Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh, NC 27607) Do you—or have you ever taken—Lipitor? If so, you’ll want to watch this video to learn about drug side effects that could threaten your life. Hello, I’m David Henson, a partner with HensonFuerst Attorneys. Lipitor (atorvastatin calcium) is prescribed to patients for cholesterol management. Pfizer, Inc., the drug’s manufacturer, markets Lipitor as a medication that can lower the risk of heart attack, stroke, certain types of heart surgery, and chest pains in patients who have, or are at risk for, heart disease. But because the drug can also cause increased blood glucose levels, patients who take Lipitor may face increased risks of developing Type 2 diabetes. We’ve seen this in women who have taken Lipitor for at least 30 days, especially within the last 6 months of use. Lipitor is part of a class of cholesterol-lowering drugs known as statins. In 2012, the FDA released a report citing serious health risks for people using statins, including Lipitor. Those risks include development of diabetes, and worsening glycemic control. As a result, statin drug packaging was updated to include information about these risks. Before then, Lipitor’s label failed to warn patients of any potential relation between changes in blood sugar levels and taking Lipitor. Despite scientific data suggesting that Lipitor was linked to the development of Type 2 diabetes, the drug was marketed as safe and effective. If you are a woman who took Lipitor and developed Type 2 diabetes, contact HensonFuerst Attorneys today to discuss your legal options at 1-800-4-LAWMED.

Lipitor Linked to Diagnosis of Type 2 Diabetes

00:46
Statins are a class of drugs used to lower cholesterol. One of the most popular brands is Lipitor.   Now, you may have heard that one of the adverse side effects is type 2 diabetes and patients taking the drug have a 9% increased risk of developing type 2 diabetes -- but it has also been documented that patients taking the drug at a higher dosage than the recommended dose have a higher increased risk above 9%.   The manufacturers of Lipitor failed to put the warnings of such devastating side effects on the labels until 2012. If you or a loved one has developed type 2 diabetes before, during or even after 2012, you should contact an experienced lawyer as soon as possible. You may be able to recover medical bills, time off from work and pain and suffering. -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Please watch: "Metal on Metal Joint Replacement Surgery Complications - Hughes & Coleman Injury Lawyers " https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFGT3WD_Ndg -~-~~-~~~-~~-~-

CoQ10 and Statins - CoQ10 To The Rescue

04:48
CoQ10 and Statins: You should not take statins without CoQ10. Smart people have established this. Link to Ultra Accel ll for mitochondrial biogenesis and statin protection: https://bit.ly/2bxIboB As we age, our bodies make less CoQ10. CoQ10 is vital to life. Not only should you consider taking CoQ10 as an adult, but especially so if you take statins such as Crestor, Lipitor etc. Statins compete with and displace CoQ10 from enzyme sites. There are many additional benefits to supplementing with CoQ10. Some benefits include resistance to fatique, improved mental clarity, cardiovascular energy augmentation and much more. Dr. Al Sears M.D. noted anti-aging clinician and spokesman, has a special supplement combining the recommended natural form of CoQ10 with PQQ & the Immortality Vine into Ultra Accel ll. The latter 2 components boost cellular energy and help create NEW mitochondria in the case of PQQ. If you or someone you know takes statins, they should supplement the statins with CoQ10. That is a requirement in Japan and the trend is growing in the U.S. Click the link in the description. The Dangers of Statins (Cholesterol lowering statin drugs Side Effects LDL cholesterol Myth CoQ10)

18:07
Statins (cholesterol-lowering medication) are heavily promoted, used by millions of people and one of the most widely prescribed drugs in the world. Health authorities claim statins reduce the risk of heart disease and strokes because they lower 'bad' LDL cholesterol. Yet these claims are contradicted by statistics and medical studies. http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2010/07/20/the-truth-about-statin-drugs-revealed.aspx http://next-level-nutrition.com/?p=6075 http://naturalnews.com/032448_statin_drugs_scam.html http://www.ravnskov.nu/cholesterol.htm#a The hypothesis is that 'bad' LDL cholesterol clogs up arteries leading to heart attacks and strokes. However, medical research has shown that: 1. People with high cholesterol tend to live longer. 2. People with heart disease tend to have low levels of cholesterol. 3. Lowering cholesterol in a population does not reduce the rate of heart disease. 4. Statins increase(!) the risk of heart disease and strokes. http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2005/05/28/cholesterol-heart.aspx http://drbenkim.com/articles-cholesterol.html http://drmalcolmkendrick.org/the-great-cholesterol-con http://cholesterolconspiracy.blogspot.com http://amazon.com/The-Great-Cholesterol-Myth-Disease/dp/1592335217 Statin drugs have become a huge global industry, generating more than $29 billion each year. However, cholesterol and CoQ10 are essential for optimal body and brain function! http://naturalnews.com/CoQ10.html http://products.mercola.com/coq10-ubiquinol Statins can cause serious side effects, including chronic fatigue, muscle pain, muscle weakness, memory loss, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, diabetes, kidney and liver damage, birth defects, heart failure and cancer. Lipitor Lawsuit - Type 2 Diabetes

03:02
If you developed Type 2 Diabetes while on Lipitor, visit http://www.infinitylawcenter.com Lipitor is the brand name for the drug atorvastatin. Made and sold by the American pharmaceutical giant Pfizer, this prescription medication is used to treat high cholesterol. The FDA approved Lipitor in December of 1996, and doctors can prescribe it in 10 mg to 80 mg tablets to be taken daily. Pfizer's Lipitor patent expired on November 30, 2011, at which time competitors immediately began offering cheaper, generic formulations of the drug. Like other drugs belonging to the statin class of hypolipidemics, Lipitor prevents the creation of low density lipids (LDLs) in the liver. LDLs are the type of cholesterol that block arteries, so inhibiting their production reduces users' risks of developing heart disease. On January 9, 2012, the medical journal Archives of Internal Medicine published a study analyzing a possible link between statin use in women and type-2 diabetes. The researchers investigated 161,808 women between the ages of 50 and 79 years old who participated in the Women's Health Initiative over the course of several years. They found that women who took drugs belonging to the statin class were 48 percent more likely to develop type-2 diabetes than women who did not. This 2012 study came after two previous ones published in the Lancet and the Journal of the American College of Cardiology. The Lancet study found statin use correlates to a nine percent increase in developing type-2 diabetes. The JACC study specifically focused on Lipitor and found that daily doses of Lipitor at 80 mg increased the risk of developing diabetes by 37 percent over a placebo. In February of 2012, the FDA changed Lipitor's drug label to reflect the fact that it increases a user's risk of developing type-2 diabetes. In addition, Lipitor can cause skeletal muscle side effects such as myopathy and rhabdomyolysis, a condition characterized by atrophying skeletal muscle tissue. The lost muscle mass (myoglobin) collects in patients' blood and can cause severe kidney problems and even death. Primary symptoms include: • Pain • Tenderness • Weakness • Swelling The broken-down muscle mass can cause other problems throughout the body such as: • Electrolytic disturbances • Nausea • Vomiting • Confusion • Coma • Cardiac arrhythmia • Dark urine • Oligura or Anuria (decreased or non-existent urine production, respectively) • Internal blood clotting Also in February 2012, the FDA informed the public that it was investigating reports of Lipitor memory loss that occurred to users who had been on the drug for several years. Symptoms arose in every age group, though more often in patients over the age of 50. Examples include: • Memory loss • Forgetfulness • Confusion • "Fuzzy" or unfocused thinking Patients who have taken Lipitor and developed type-2 diabetes have filed lawsuits against Pfizer, Lipitor's manufacturer, for injuries caused by Lipitor's potential side effects. These lawsuits are currently pending in courthouses throughout the country. Many of them allege that, way before 2012, Pfizer was aware of—but nevertheless failed to warn customers about—Lipitor's propensity to increase serum glucose levels. If you took Lipitor and believe it caused an injury, you might be entitled to compensation from the manufacturer. Infinity Law Center will consult with you for free, possibly filing a lawsuit on your behalf. You will not be charged a penny until you receive compensation for your injuries.
