The Supplement Timeline (What Age - Which Supplements!)

Stop taking supplements you can’t trust. Get Jeff Cavaliere’s exact supplements here http://athleanx.com/x/supplements-trusted-to-deliver When it comes to taking supplements, there are a lot of questions as to when you should begin taking them and which ones are better than others. I think you have to start by breaking down the nutritional supplements into categories. In this video, I categorize multivitamins, specialty vitamins, protein powders, pre workouts, creatine, BCAA’s, creatine, omega-3’s and joint recovery formulas. Each group is discussed in relation to one of four age brackets regarding their appropriateness. All of the supplements discussed are ones that I take myself and would recommend to others. You will not see any testosterone boosters or pro hormones because I don’t believe in them or recommend them to my viewers. Even the pre workout supplements must undergo severe scrutiny based on the dangers that have been shown to riddle that product category for the past couple of years. All that said however, I make it very clear that any supplementation plan must start with a commitment to good nutrition. If you think that you are going to make up for a bad diet by taking supplements you are flat out fooling yourself, and likely wasting a lot of money. Supplements are meant to supplement a good nutrition plan. When you have a dedication to eating well, not perfect, but well…supplements can be a savior and a huge difference maker as they really help with the consistency needed to see great results. Some manufacturers want you to believe that their supplement will help you overcome poor nutrition. They will make you think that you can simply sleep your way to a six pack. It’s laughable and dishonest to say the least. The hard truth of the matter is that high quality nutrition is a must if you want to really see the fastest and best results possible. That said, ATHLEAN-X is committed to both proper nutrition and high quality, safe supplements. Through our X-Factor meal plan, available in the ATHLEAN-X Training System, and the Rx supplements we provide our program followers with all the tools needed to make a big difference in how they look in just 90 days. If you want to get either or both, you can head to http://athleanx.com and start eating and training like an athlete. Key Vitamins & Minerals on a Ketogenic Diet Plan

Recommended Nutrients: B-vitamins: https://shop.drberg.com/nutritional-yeast-regular Minerals: https://shop.drberg.com/electrolyte-powder-regular Take Dr. Berg's Free Keto Mini-Course: http://pxlme.me/-i717vtY or go here: https://www.drberg.com/how-to-do-ketosis Download Keto Essentials https://m.me/drericberg?ref=w2128577 Dr. Berg talks about what key multivitamins and minerals on a ketogenic diet plan. The first vitamin that is needed is the B-vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B6, etc.). Minerals are also needed as in potassium (4700 mg), magnesium and sodium - these electrolytes are need to prevent deficiencies. You also need D3, omega 3 and even trace minerals. This provides you the key nutrients to make this transition from glucose to fat burning efficiently. Hi guys, I recently have a question what multivitamins and minerals do I need in a ketogenic diet. Well, the first thing you need to do and a lot of people will use vitamins because they don’t want to consume the amount of vegetables that they really need. You really need to do that because we want to get as many vitamins and minerals from the vegetables as possible, 7 to 10 cups. Not just for the vitamins and minerals but to flush out the fat, we need that greens and healthy vegetables. However, when you are switching from sugar burning to fat burning, when you are adopting, you need more of certain nutrients and you definitely need more B vitamins, vitamin B6, B5, B1 and B12. I recommend getting this in the nutritional yeast, you can get it in powder. I have nutritional yeast in tablet form to make it easier to consume and this is a non-fortified. When you consume nutritional yeast, you don’t want to fortify or enrich it with synthetic vitamins but I also added some natural B12. You also need minerals specifically potassium, magnesium and sodium. When you are in a low carb diet you need more salt, consume about 1teaspoon of salt. If you are in a high carbohydrate diet only have a quarter teaspoon of salt. We do need a lot of potassium and a good amount of magnesium. I use electrolyte powder because it has a thousand mg of potassium citrate, good amount of magnesium and has a little bit of sodium. You may need to enhance sodium because this is not have a lot of sodium but this is cool because it doesn’t have a lot of maltodextrin, it doesn’t have the sugar and it has the trace minerals on it as well. You also need vitamin D3, you can get this on sunlight or fish oils, in that way you can kill two birds in one stone and you can get you omega 3. If you can get high quality cod liver oil, you can get D3 and Omega 3. And you have trace minerals which are those minerals are needed in much smaller amounts, and it is hard to find that in the diet and it can really help you. An example would be chromium, iodine, selenium. Again, the goal is to get as much of the vitamins and minerals from the food but I also recommend enhancing it with B vitamins, minerals, D3, Omega 3 and trace minerals. The Ultimate Guide To Vegan B12 Sources

10:01
Konniche wah, GojiMan here. Its good to see all your smiling faces again. In todays vlog I give you the Ultimate Guide To vegan b12 sources all the way from sunny Cornwall. Now a lot of this information you won’t have heard before so you aren’t going to want to miss this. Roll the titles. If this is our first time meeting, hello. I vlog on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on vegan health and nutrition. I am currently just finishing a masters in nutrition and qualifying as a nutritionist and next year I will be doing a Phd in nutritional science. So hit that subscribe button, hit that bell notification and make me a happy smiling vegan! So lets get to the video. Vitamin B12 (also known as cobalamin) is critical in the body. It plays a pivotal role in DNA synthesis, blood and bone health, heart health, detoxification as well as being critical in the maintenance of your nervous system and brain health. Although rare, long term severe b12 deficiency can lead to anemia, paralysis and even death, so you want to ensure that you get enough B12 to ensure optimal health. A common B12 myth is that since b12 is found in meat, dairy and egg products, you have to eat these products or you will run into deficiency. It is also suggested that b12 proves that we were born to eat meat. It is really important for your health though to understand that animals do not make B12. It is made by microorganisms living in the soil and water. So simply put, B12 is made by bacteria. B12 is found in animal products because they eat grass, plants and small amounts of soil that contain B12. This B12 is then swallowed by the animal and then deposited in their muscles. In years gone by, humans got their sources of vitamin B12 in the same way. Our ancestors would spend hours every day foraging for fruits and vegetables that were pulled from the ground and contained sufficient levels of B12. If they were thirsty then they would drink well water that contained B12. Fast forward to today and these same fruits and vegetable are sprayed with every type of pesticide/herbicide possible and washed within an inch of their lives. Tap water is also heavily chlorinated. So the traditional and optimal sources of B12 have been obliterated. Vegans therefore need to find alternative sources. Before supplementing, everyone should look at getting tested for B12 levels. But it doesn’t just stop there. You need to test for B12 in conjunction with homocysteine and serum folate. And let me explain why. Firstly you need to ensure you have B12 levels are in the range of 600ng/l or above. The reason for this is there is not enough circulating B12 in your tissues, or enough serum folate, then a troublesome molecule called homocysteine is able to build up. And this is something you really want to avoid at all costs. Homocysteine damages artery walls and allows plaque formation. The net result of this is heart attacks and strokes. So please please please never listen to anyone who says that heart attacks are simply cause by eating meat, dairy and eggs. This is why I always recommend that people test for b12, homocysteine and serum folate at the same time because it gives you a true picture of what’s actually happening in your body. Your homocysteine score will tell you if your B12 and folate levels are adequate and vice versa. Testing for just B12 will not give you a true picture. Ideally homocysteine should be below 12 micromols/L. If it is above this coupled with low b12 levels then you know your body is not getting adequate sources of b12. You will therefore need to increase b12 supplentation intake. If your folate levels are also low then consume dark leafy greens on a daily basis and then retest all levels after three months. I would suggest that you retest after 3 months after starting to optimise your b12, homocysteine and folate levels to ensure your body is absorbing ok. If not then you could have an absorption problem…… but that is a topic for another video. Once you have everything optimised then I would advise testing b12, homocysteine and folate levels on a yearly basis. The best source will be dependent on your needs and your genetics. There is no one size that fits all. I personally take a supplement every day. Before I tell you which one and why let me break down your options. There are 4 types of b12: cyanocobalamin, hydroxycabalamin, methylcobalamin adenosylcobalamin Cyanocobalamin is least expensive and most stable (so doesn’t degrade as quick on the shelf), but there are concerns around that fact that it releases a small amount of cyanide as it is metabolised in the body. Cyanocobalamin and hydroxycobalamin are forms of b12 that can also be difficult for people to convert into the active forms of B12 if they have the homozygous MTHFR mutation. You need MTHFR enzymes to produce the active form.

7 Recommended Supplements on a Keto and Intermittent Fasting Plan

Minerals 2. B1 (in conversion from sugar to fat burning) 3. B3 (to remove fat and cholesterol from the liver) 4. B5 (in the conversion from sugar to fat burning); helps in the keto adaption and prevent ketogenic fatigue, flu, and rash. 5. Vitamin A (improves insulin resistance) 6. Vitamin D (improves insulin resistance) 7. Choline - to help a fatty liver Virgin Cod Liver oil helps provide vitamin D and A equally. Nutritional Yeast provides B vitamins, Electrolyte Powder helps provide minerals. Hey guys, we are going to talk about the 7 recommended supplements on a Ketogenic diet and intermittent fasting plan. The first one I am going to recommend is minerals. You want to potassium, magnesium, sodium and calcium those were electrolytes, and then trace minerals. Because minerals helps reduce insulin resistance and it puts you into fat burning a lot better. Plus, these minerals are alkaline which offset some of the uric acid buildup that comes from the ketogenic diet to lessen the chance to get a gout or the uric acid kidney stones. Number 2 vitamin B1, this is essential in the adaptation of sugar burning into fat burning, and it is also great to relieve stress. Vitamin B3 is really good for lowering cholesterol that is coming out of the fat cells or liver and it is also good to support the liver in general. Vitamin B5 is another key B vitamin that is essential in the adaptation to fat burning. If you are deficient in B5 and B1, you may notice more fatigue, keto flu and keto rash, any of those symptoms. Number 5, vitamin A which is also essential in dealing with insulin resistance and you would get vitamin A in cod liver oil, grass-fed cheese, grass-fed liver and egg yolks. No. 6 vitamin D and I recommend vitamin D3 version, this is really good for insulin resistance and improving that. It is also in cod liver oil, egg yolk. In fact if you consume cod liver oil, you get a 50/50 split of vitamin A and vitamin D so you could kill 2 birds at 1 stone. No. 7 choline which is essential of getting the fat off the liver. I recommend doing electrolyte powder for the minerals. I recommend nutritional yeast for B1, B3, B5 and it even has choline. I have a version that has non-fortified, it is in a tablet form with added B12. You have electrolyte powder, nutritional yeast, and cod liver oil and if you really have fatty liver you could have choline in addition to the choline that is in nutritional yeast to strip off the fat from the liver. POTASSIUM: The MOST Important Electrolyte - MUST WATCH!

Get Dr. Berg's New Electrolyte Powder: http://bit.ly/ElectrolytePowderCart10 (use this code: IK7H05 to get 10% off) Take Dr. Berg's Free Keto Mini-Course: http://pxlme.me/-i717vtY or go here: https://www.drberg.com/how-to-do-ketosis Download Keto Essentials https://m.me/drericberg?ref=w2128577 Dr. Berg discusses potassium and the importance of this electrolyte. Your heart, your fluid, your energy, your nutrients in and out of the cell is dependent on the sodium and potassium pump. However, potassium is the most difficult to get from the diet. High levels of cortisol (stress), insulin, sugar, diuretics, excessive salt, surgery, all can deplete potassium. However, you need between 7-10 cups of salad or veggies to get your daily requirement of 4700mg. Hey guys, Dr. Berg here. I want to do a video on the most important electrolyte. Let me explain what an electrolyte is, if you ever take salt and put it in the water and dissolve it, the sodium and chloride disconnect and they become two separate minerals and that fluid is very electrically conductive. Basically electrolytes have to do with minerals that help conduct electricity in the body. They help with a lot of different things. As far as the electrolytes, it will be like potassium, sodium, magnesium, calcium, chlorides, and all those minerals. Potassium out of all the electrolytes is the one that we need in a very large quantities. Why is that? Why do we need potassium in a large amount? I am talking 4,700 mg to 6,000 mg every single day and that is equivalent to 7 to 10+ cups of salad or vegetables every single day. Let’s go dig further into exactly to why we need potassium. There are something in the body called sodium-potassium pump. It is built in a little protein connected to an enzyme, it forms a whole enzyme in the surface of your cells and you will have between 8,000 to 30million of this little tiny pumps and they are little generators that generate electricity to allow things to go through the cell so it take a lot of energy, in fact the energy of 1/3 of your diet goes to running those pumps. You also have another pump in the stomach called the hydrogen potassium ATPas, it is basically another pump that is built with a potassium that allows you to create stomach acid to help you digest. This pumps are also in the muscles, nervous systems and the pumps in the nervous system used about 60% of your body’s chloric intake of energy. In other words, these pumps are really critically important in exchanging nutrition, glucose, amino acids and other minerals to allow them to transport in other cell. Potassium is essential for building the pumps to allow these functions right here, they charge the cell electrically, so your cells have a certain voltage to allow things to work and go in and out of the cell to create different energy. In fact your energy that you have that controls your metabolism is controlled partly by these little pump. So it charges the cell electrically, it gives you energy. It helps the muscle contracts and relax because it allows calcium to go into the cell as well. It controls the transport of calcium. Humans, unlike most animals, are unable to synthesize vitamin C endogenously, so it is an essential dietary component Vitamin C is required for the biosynthesis of collagen, L-carnitine, and certain neurotransmitters; vitamin C is also involved in protein metabolism. Collagen is an essential component of connective tissue, which plays a vital role in wound healing. Vitamin C is also an important physiological antioxidant and has been shown to regenerate other antioxidants within the body, including alpha-tocopherol (vitamin E) Ongoing research is examining whether vitamin C, by limiting the damaging effects of free radicals through its antioxidant activity, might help prevent or delay the development of certain cancers, cardiovascular disease, and other diseases in which oxidative stress plays a causal role. In addition to its biosynthetic and antioxidant functions, vitamin C plays an important role in immune function and improves the absorption of nonheme iron , the form of iron present in plant-based foods. Insufficient vitamin C intake causes scurvy, which is characterized by fatigue or lassitude, widespread connective tissue weakness, and capillary fragility Sources of Vitamin C Food Fruits and vegetables are the best sources of vitamin C (see Table 2) [12]. Citrus fruits, tomatoes and tomato juice, and potatoes are major contributors of vitamin C to the American diet [8]. Other good food sources include red and green peppers, kiwifruit, broccoli, strawberries, Brussels sprouts, and cantaloupe (see Table 2) [8,12]. Although vitamin C is not naturally present in grains, it is added to some fortified breakfast cereals. The vitamin C content of food may be reduced by prolonged storage and by cooking because ascorbic acid is water soluble and is destroyed by heat [6,8]. Steaming or microwaving may lessen cooking losses. Fortunately, many of the best food sources of vitamin C, such as fruits and vegetables, are usually consumed raw. Consuming five varied servings of fruits and vegetables a day can provide more than 200 mg of vitamin C. What is Limcee? Accutane- 5 tips by Dermatologists

06:06
http://www.fioriinstitute.com For tips on having acne free skin Accutane – 5 Tips by Dermatologists Accutane or Roaccutane is a tablet is also known as isotretinoin and is a form of vitamin A. It has been the mainstay for the management of severe acne or scarring acne in Australia, Europe, US and Asia for the past 30 years. Accutane works by targeting the oil glands, and reducing oil production. In lower does it can help remodel dermal collagen and reduce scar formation- including acne scars, Accutane can also reduce blackheads, whiteheads, zits, cysts and pimples. Should I go on Accutane for my acne? Roaccutane should only be used if your acne is severe, cystic or scarring. An off label indication of Roaccutane is if your acne does not respond to normal acne medications. An assessment and discussion with a Dermatologist is needed to ascertain if you are suitable for this medication, as there are numerous side-effects associated with this drug. Accutane has a 99% success rate for the treatment of acne. An average person will need a course lasting between 7-10 months. Improvement is seen within a few weeks of starting this medication. In severe cases of acne, an early and transient ‘flare up’ maybe seen, however your Specialist will undertake steps to minimise this side-effect. What side effects can I expect on Accutane? The most common side effect is dryness of the lips and skin. Universally seen common and very easy to manage. Moisturise frequently and you will sail thru the course of treatment. Use a lip balm at least 3-5 times per day, and moisturise your skin at least twice a day. Some patients may get dry eyes on Roaccutane/ Accutane and using eye drops may help, especially if you wear contact lenses. Your Dermatologist will also order special blood tests throughout your treatment course, making sure your Liver and Cholesterol levels are in check. Female patients are warned in regards to the serious consequences in regards to birth defects whilst on Accutane. Other side effects that are less common including- Flare up of acne (usually early in the course of treatment) Headaches Abnormal period cycles Muscle aches and pains Ingrown toe and finger nails Abdominal symptoms Mood changes and depression How long is a course of Roaccutane treatment? The course of Roaccutane/ Oratane is variable and will depend on many factors including the type of acne, your body weight, the location of your acne and the side effects you may experience on this tablet. As a guide- Average length of treatment 6-9 months Severe acne involving bacne acne, trunkal acne 10-12 months Low dose Roaccutane / Oratane program 14-20 months Your Dermatologist will decide as to what is the optimal course of Roaccutane/ Accutane treatment based upon your acne type and your lifestyle. Will a course of Accutane treat my acne scars? That is a difficult question to answer, as results are variable. Accutane is not designed as a treatment for acne scars, but a treatment to treat and cure acne. Treating active acne forms the foundation for acne scar treatment. In regards to Accutane and acne scars the following facts apply- Some patients can receive mild improvement of acne scars on this drug. Low dose Accutane has been shown to remodel scars and increase collagen production. Roaccutane/ Accutane patients are not candidates for laser scar revision during the course of Roaccutane, and a wash out period of 3-6 months will be needed. We now have a method of treating acne patients on Roaccutane with a non- laser method of scar revision called RF or RadioFrequency. This treatment has proven to be safe and effective in the majority of patients, however careful monitoring is needed. This forms the basis of the Acne Free RF Program, which was designed by Dr Davin Lim. What skin care should I use whilst on Accutane/ Roaccutane Treatment? Looking after your skin whist on Roaccutane/ Oratane/ Accutane is vitally important and can markedly reduce the side effects of this medication. Keep your acne skin care regime simple, and moisturise frequently! Clean your skin twice a day with a low irritant cleanser- I recommend Cetaphil, QV Wash or Neutrogena Gentle wash. Moisturise your skin twice a day- I recommend Cetaphil moisturiser. Moisturise your lips 4-6 times a day, most importantly just before bedtime as this will reduce severity of ‘dry lips on roaccutane’. Using a high factor SPF sunscreen twice a day can reduce the incidence of sunburn on this medication. I recommend La Roche Posay. Follow us on Twitter: @foods4health1 Recipes4Health: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2bZhXBHIb51n1fE3VWPmcQ/videos To learn more about the health benefits of food, visit: http://www.benefitsoffood.blogspot.com Oranges are one of the most popular fruits available. They are consumed around the world for their sweet and pleasant taste. Importantly, oranges don’t just taste great, but also are very nutritious and can promote our overall health a number of important ways. They are loaded with nutrients and can fit into almost any diet. Lets discuss some of the important ways that oranges can improve your health when consumed. 1. First, oranges are incredibly nutrient dense, and contain many important vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Well known for their high vitamin C content, they also contain good levels of vitamin B1, folate, copper, potassium, pantothenic acid and calcium. They also contain high levels of fibre, with just one medium orange containing almost 15% of the daily recommended intake of dietary fibre. 2. Due to its high fibre content, regular consumption of oranges can also help to improve digestion. The fibre in them helps with the proper digestion of food and can increase nutrient uptake from the healthy foods we consume. As well, oranges help by releasing digestive enzymes that promote effective and efficient digestion. 3. Oranges can also help to boost our immunity and support a healthy immune system. They can help to prevent certain diseases, such as common cold and flu. Also, they are very high in vitamin C content, which can help with the production of white blood cells and strengthen our immune system. They are also packed with immune system boosting antioxidants. 4. Oranges are also incredibly heart healthy when consumed regularly. They can help to reduce the risk of heart disease many different ways. The pectin and hesperidin compounds found in them can help to lower cholesterol levels in the body, especially “bad” cholesterol. Hesperidin and magnesium can also help with the effective control of blood pressure levels. If that wasn’t enough, oranges can also help prevent the hardening of the arteries due to their high levels of vitamin C while improving circulation. 5. Oranges also have tremendous benefits for improving the health and look of our skin. Their rich source of vitamin C helps to improve both the texture and look of the skin, as well as provide anti-aging benefits. The nutrients and healthy compounds in oranges can also help with the production of collagen, which prevents premature aging. The powerful and potent antioxidants in them also help to eliminate skin damaging free radicals. 6. Lastly, regular consumption of oranges can help with weight loss and promote proper weight management. They are rich in fibre content, which can help us to feel more full and promote satiety. As well, their sweet taste can help to stop sugar cravings while being lower in calories. Just be sure to eat them in moderation. Thank you for watching the video! Please like, comment and share. How To Use Protein Powder: Simple Step-By-Step Guide

Although many beginners tend to think of protein powder as being some sort of fancy, high-tech muscle building supplement, it's really nothing more than a way of meeting your daily protein needs in a more convenient manner. Protein powders are derived from whole food sources, and so asking "how to take protein powder" is really no different from asking "how to take chicken" or "how to take salmon". So, if you enjoy the taste or convenience factor of protein shakes and/or protein powder recipes, then including them in your diet is obviously a good idea. However, if you'd prefer to just meet your daily protein intake from regular solid food sources, that's fine too and your bottom line bodybuilding results won't differ in the big picture. As for the 3 questions above... How To Use Protein Powder: 1) Best Protein Powder To Take: When it all comes down to it, any basic protein powder is ultimately fine to use as part of your muscle building or fat loss diet. Although certain sources like whey or egg are higher quality on a gram for gram basis, the issue of quality gradually becomes less important in the context of a complete diet where overall protein needs for the day as a whole are being met. This is because your body only requires a finite amount of amino acids to max out your muscle building capability over a given time period, and as long as you're getting enough total protein from a variety of sources (about 0.8-1g per pound of body weight daily), those amino acid needs will usually be met pretty easily. My default recommendation is to use a blend of whey isolate/whey concentrate because it tastes good, mixes well and is cost-effective (check above for my recommended powders), but egg or casein are also acceptable choices if you prefer them for some reason. Or, if you're vegan or would just prefer a plant based protein powder, then brown rice protein, soy protein, pea protein or vegan blends are fine as well. (Side note: I would recommend men consume no more than 30g of total soy protein per day just to be on the safe side) The only other thing to make sure of when selecting the best protein powder for you is that the product is not amino spiked. (More info: http://www.SeanNal.com/articles/supplementation/amino-acid-spiking.php) 2) How Much Protein Powder To Use: This is just an issue of personal preference and depends how much of your protein intake you prefer in liquid form or in solid form. My general guideline is that having up to half of your total protein intake in the form of protein powder is fine depending on your preference. 3) Protein Powder Timing: There won't be anything special about taking protein powder at any one specific time of day over another. So, if you prefer it for breakfast, pre or post workout, after dinner or before bed, any of these times will be fine. Just base it on what is most convenient and most enjoyable for you. So, is protein powder necessary? No, but for most average lifters it is a good way of improving the convenience of your diet, and shakes/protein powder recipes can be quite enjoyable taste wise as well. If you do decide to include a whey protein powder or some other form of protein powder in your diet, just follow the 3 guidelines above and you'll be all set. The question of "how to use protein powder" is very straightforward as you can see, and much of it is just a matter of your own personal preference in terms of taste and convenience. Hope you found this basic protein powder guide helpful.

♂ 4 Clinically Proven Ways To Increase Your Testosterone Levels, Naturally

07:32
My favorite, clinically proven formula for naturally increasing your testosterone and sex drive: ►►http://drsam.co/yt/MoreTestosterone Or you can look at this complete A to Z video about testosterone: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wAaxL3UMuY =============================================== 4 Clinically Proven Ways To Increase Your Testosterone Levels, Naturally =============================================== Healthy testosterone levels is important for optimal health, bone density, positive mood, sex drive, maximum muscle and strength, and also disease and cancer prevention for BOTH sexes. The good news is that many people, including doctors are aware of the numerous benefits of optimal testosterone levels. Unfortunately, many people are looking for a quick fix with “exogenous” (outside) testosterone -- such as injections, creams and pills. Unfortunately, when you add testosterone into your body, it has many negative side-effects if it’s not managed properly. It can actually cause the OPPOSITE effects over time. Doing it naturally is much better because you won’t have the negative effects and you’ll easily be able to maintain all the benefits long-term. Besides, even if you wanted to take exogenous testosterone (injections, creams, pills, etc.), utilizing today’s “natural” methods will only ENHANCE the positive effects and give you even more benefits. Diet What you eat, is just as important as what you DON’T eat. Food controls your hormones. PROTEIN About 25-35% of your protein source should be from fish, eggs and free range, grass fed bison/buffalo. All the other sources, even the “free range” chicken and cow/beef, still have lots of negative hormones -- despite what the government or “label” tells you. Make sure you also have WHOLE eggs daily because the cholesterol is needed to produce testosterone and other sex hormones. Just make sure it’s free range eggs. CARBS Have about 40-50% of your diet from healthy carbohydrates -- vegetables, fruits, lentils, yams, quinoa, and some white rice is fine in small amounts. FATS Make sure you have some healthy fats, about 25-30% of your diet. It helps produce many of your sex hormones, including testosterone. Most people eat the WRONG forms of fats, which can lower testosterone.13,14,15 Good fats are RAW coconut oil, macadamia oil, hemp oil, avocado, raw nuts/seeds and egg yolks. Exercise The RIGHT type of exercise can have dramatic effects on your hormones -- positive OR negative. Lifting heavy weights (6-10 repetitions) increases testosterone. You only need 3-4x weekly because too often will do the opposite because it’ll increase your stress hormone, Cortisol. Eliminate intense cardio such as running because it lowers testosterone and increases Cortisol, your stress hormone. Life-Style Lifestyle changes has to do more with stress management and rest. Sleep is very important. Most of us don’t get enough. So try to get to bed earlier. Squeeze in a little nap in the day as well if you can. This means negative thoughts, information, media … as well as negative people. You can’t eliminate it, but you can certainly REDUCE some of the negatives in your life. Supplements -- Natural Herbs & Vitamins Most of us are deficient in numerous herbs, vitamins and minerals. In fact, it’s estimated that we would need to eat at least 27,575 calories daily to get all the nutrients our bodies need. Because of this, I HIGHLY suggest you take specific herbs, vitamins and minerals to help boost your testosterone levels naturally, from within. Not only will your libido and sex drive increase, but you’ll feel younger, have more energy, increase your muscle mass and lose belly fat because of the naturally higher testosterone levels. And because this all happens naturally from WITHIN your own body, it’s safe for long-term use. Some of most effective and clinically proven herbal remedies boosting your testosterone are: Testofen® Fenugreek Extract (Trigonella foenum-graecum; 50% fenusides, 50% Saponins) Avena Sativa Extract (Oat Straw 100:1) Tongkat Ali Extract (Eurycoma Longifolia Jack 100:1) Maca Root (6% Extract) Bulgarian Pro-Tribulus™ Terrestris Extract (90% Sapongenins + 40% protodioscin) Stinging Nettle (95% Extract) (Urtica Dioica) L-Arginine Zinc + Copper Click here for a proven, 100% natural solution: ►http://drsam.co/yt/MoreTestosterone Or you can watch other videos related to erectile dysfunction: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_z5fqph5YU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGfazrFHi70 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eT8_UoaqTC4 ========= Thank you for watching. Top 3 Best Fish vs. Worst Fish to Eat: Thomas DeLauer

09:07
Learn the 3 Safest fish to eat! I'll teach you more at http://www.ThomasDeLauer.com We are going to go over the top 3 fish to eat and the fish that you may want to avoid. Fish can become contaminated in a number of ways - size, species, age and location determine contamination levels. Heavy Metals: Mercury and Lead- Mercury is known to cause many health problems and is especially dangerous for children and women who are or may become pregnant. It can take 12-18 months for mercury to pass through the body, so women who may become pregnant should also work hard to avoid mercury. The nervous system and kidneys are the main targets of mercury. Children exposed to mercury may cause mental development problems, including coordination and learning handicaps. Anyone can experience mercury health effects, including: fatigue, dizziness, numbness or tingling, memory and coordination problems, irritability. If enough mercury is consumed, permanent brain and kidney damage can occur. Large, older, or predatory fish have more time and eat more contaminated foods, allowing heavy metals to bioaccumulate. Industrial Chemicals- PCBs, dioxins, DDT and other chemicals can leach from factories or garbage into our waters. These chemicals are related to cancer risk. Bottom dwelling fish are the most susceptible to these toxins, including the American eel, sea trout and wild striped bass. Radiation- The Fukushima nuclear disaster is one of the most widely discussed radiation events that has an impact on what we eat. Radiation is known to cause cancer, so avoiding foods high in radioactive compounds is important. Researching your fish choices online is the best way to avoid consuming fish that come from an area high in radiation. Choosing Fish for Your Family- The Environmental Defense Fund Seafood Selector is a great benefit when deciding what fish to avoid and what fish to load up on. Given the above concerns while also weighing in health and deliciousness, here is the list of the top three fish: (1) Pacific Sardines (US and Canada): -Low in mercury -Sustainably fished -High in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins B12, B2, B3, D, selenium, phosphorus, calcium, copper and more -They are inexpensive and easy to find canned. (2) Wild Alaskan Salmon: -Salmon is one of the most delicious fish, rich in healthy fats. -Low in mercury and sustainably fished -Contains bioactive peptides that may support for cartilage, insulin and inflammation. -High in vitamins B12, B3, D, selenium, omega-3 fatty acids, phosphorus, B6 and many others. (3) Muscles: -Low in mercury and one of the most sustainably fished seafood sources out there -High in selenium, omega-3s, B12, iron, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus and many others. Seafood to Avoid: Due to toxins and sustainability, it is best to stay away from these types of seafood. (1) Shark: -Anything this high up on the food chain is going to be a red flag when it comes to toxins.Predators consume other fish and their toxins. The higher up on the food chain, the higher the levels of mercury and toxins in the fish. Adding to the health dangers is the unsustainable fishing practices. Sharks have long gestation periods, taking a long time to mature and have offspring. This makes overfishing or depleting their numbers easy to do. Most shark species are experiencing a large decline due to fishing, being caught as bycatch and for fins in Asia. (2) Tuna: A favorite among many sushi goers is unfortunately very high in mercury and horrible for sustainability. Some tuna is much better for you and the environment than others. If you do consume tuna, US yellowfin is the best option. Canned albacore tuna is high in mercury and should be avoided. Bluefin and imported albacore are the worst tuna options for health and sustainability - do your best to avoid these. Canned light tuna is better for you than canned white tuna when it comes to mercury, with about ⅓ the mercury content of canned white tuna. (3) Farmed Tilapia: Farmed tilapia in the US is often imported from China and Taiwan where the conditions and chemicals used are very troublesome. (4) Swordfish: All swordfish, being large hunters, are high in mercury. They are also fished very unsustainably, with large bycatch of sea turtles, sharks and seabirds. References 1. 6 Foods You Should Avoid To Lose Weight

06:05
These are 6 foods you need to avoid to lose weight. These are not necessarily things you should never eat again, but if you're looking to lose body fat you want to stay away from these. Learn what to eat to get six pack abs 🔥 FREE 6 Week Challenge: https://gravitytransformation.com Fat Loss Calculator: http://gravitytransformation.com/macro-calculator/ Are you trying to lose weight? You’re working out, you’re counting calories, but still, you’re not getting any results? It might be because you’re eating these 6 foods that keep you from shedding those extra pounds. In this video, I’ll show you exactly what foods you must stop eating to lose weight permanently… and which foods to replace them with. You’ve probably heard that the one thing that truly matters for weight loss and weight gain is calories in, calories out. If you burn more calories than you eat, you should lose weight, right? True, however, if you only eat donuts and cake, will you get the protein, healthy fats, vitamins and minerals you need for a lean, healthy body? You won’t - and that’s why a proper diet is so important. A calorie is not a calorie - some food are simply better for you than others. A 100 grams of fructose won’t have the same impact on the body as 100 grams of quality protein. The fructose will lead to insulin resistance, higher ghrelin levels and increased appetite, The protein will give you a feeling of fullness which will prevent overeating, not to mention that it will help you build muscle. Now that you know that calories aren’t all that matters, let’s take a look at the 7 foods you should drop if you want to lose fat. 1. Sugar With a nickname like “white death”, it’s no surprise sugar is at the top of this list. Sugar is nothing more than empty calories. It has no nutritional value, no vitamins and no minerals. It spikes your blood glucose and in the long term leads to metabolic syndrome, obesity, cardiovascular disease and especially type II diabetes. You can even get addicted to it and suffer withdrawal symptoms because sugar causes a release of dopamine in the reward center of the brain. Not to mention that it is extremely bad for you teeth. So what can you when you get the sweet tooth? Raw honey is a great substitute that won’t spike your insulin and actually has a ton of amino acids, vitamins, minerals and enzymes. 2. Refined grains Pasta, bread, and pizza are delicious. However, most of them are made out of refined grains. Refined grains are high on the glycemic index and can spike your blood sugar levels, leading to weight gain and type II diabetes. One study found that eating just two slices of white bread per day was linked to a 40% greater risk of weight gain and obesity (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25335643/). In the process of refinement, the bran and germ of the grain are removed, along with most of the nutrients. But don’t worry, you can still eat grains - just make sure they’re whole. 3. All sodas and sugary drinks, diet or not What goes for sugar goes for sugary drinks as well. If sugar is just empty calories, then sugary drinks are liquid calories. The problem with these is that we don’t really detect them. You can drink a whole meal’s worth of calories and still be hungry. A single bottle of Coca-Cola “only” has 184 calories, but even if you just have one or two a day, they add up quickly. The best solution is to simply cut them out completely and drink water. 4. Alcohol Alcohol has more calories per gram than carbs or protein - 7. That means it is easy to go over your week’s calories on a Friday night out. But it’s not just the calories. Alcohol is a poison to the body. When you drink it, the liver burns alcohol instead of fat - stopping your fat burning for several hours. For example, a regular beer has 150 calories. A few of those, and some fast food at the end of the night can quickly come out to over 1000 in calories. If you want to drink, do it in moderation. 5. Salt Unlike most of this list, salt is the one thing you shouldn’t give up on. The two minerals found in it - sodium and chloride - are both necessary for optimal function of the body. Going too low leads to higher LDL levels, increased insulin resistance, increased risk of death from heart disease, heart failure and type II diabetes. However, too much salt has been linked to stomach cancer. In fact, people with high salt intake have a 68% higher risk of stomach cancer. (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22296873) Over 90% of Americans eat too much salt (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22854410/). But most of that comes from processed foods, which we know are bad. If you stop eating processed foods most of the time, you don’t need to worry about salt too much. Trans fat Eating fat doesn’t make you fat and not all fats are bad for you. However, trans fats should definitely be avoided. Short for trans fatty acids

A small fraction of our health is determined by our DNA and our genes. 08:30 Effects of Toxins: It is your internal adaptations that determine the effect that toxins will have on you. For example: toxic metals can be a serious problem, but if you have enough healthy metallothionein to take up and detoxify those metals, they do not stay in your body. If you have switched from this elective/protective mode into survival mode, then your body cannot devote the energy to detoxification in order to deal with the immediate crisis. 10:41: How Does Metallothionein Work? Metallothionein is a protein made of two amino acids: glycine and the sulfur-containing cysteine. Metallothionein is a magnesium/zinc rich protein that gives up its magnesium or zinc and irreversibly binds to any of the toxic metals, like mercury or lead. They are then excreted from the body through sweat, stool, or urine. Metallothionein is everywhere in our bodies and is measureable. When we shift to survival mode, toxic metals begin to accumulate. The same happens with persisting pollutants, volatile chemicals and the risk of exposure to radioisotopes or other environmental pollutants. 12:44 How to Upregulate Metallothionein: A diet rich in sulfur foods, you can build metallothionein, if you stay alkaline and you have a balanced nutrient intake, appropriate for your lifestyle. Metallothionein is very important to our long term health and survival. Nutrition begins in the kitchen, in the cooking pot. It begins with whole foods that you consume in as whole a form as possible. GGOBE is an acronym he uses for top sulfur-rich foods. It stands for garlic, ginger, onions, brassica sprouts and eggs. 16:55 Whey Protein: Whey protein is high in cysteine. 19:22 Metallothionein and Glutathione: The purpose of both of these is to protect us. Glutathione is synthesized inside of cells. Oral glutathione may help the gut and the mucosal barrier, but it does not go to your body’s cells. Glutathione is an important intermediary in keeping oxidative stress low. If we give the precursor amino acids for glutathione production in cells, GGOBE foods or supplements that contain cysteine, methionine and we have a healthy alkaline cell with mitochondria are healthy, we can make glutathione. 21:58 Mitochondria and Cell Health:The cell protects the mitochondria and the mitochondria give the cell ATP. The mitochondria also detoxify things like pesticides, persisting pollutants and hormone disruptors. These must be detoxified inside the mitochondria. If the mitochondria are overwhelmed, then the energetics of the cell slows and uses up Coenzyme Q10, which is the electron shuttle, impairing things further. About 66% of our detoxification happens in the liver. Maybe 15% of detox happens in the kidneys. A small percentage takes place in the spleen. Some also happens in our skin. Every muscle, every cell of the body does some detoxification and utilizes mitochondria to do that. 24:50 Ascorbate and Raising Glutathione: Unlike vitamins, ascorbate does not activate catalysts. It is used directly. It is a sub straight. It is used up in the course of detoxifying, energizing and protecting the other antioxidants in the body. Ascorbate is the correct name. It is the mother protective molecule for all other protective molecules in the body. The best way to raise glutathione in the cell is to give ascorbate. The amount of glutathione that you generate is proportional to having enough ascorbate. 27:42 C-Cleanse: Quickly saturate the body with mineral ascorbate, so you have calcium, magnesium, potassium and zinc minerals along with the ascorbate. Are Cherries Good for You

02:49
Cherries are bursting with antioxidants, phytochemicals, vitamins, nutrients, and fiber. All of which can help support a healthy system and may reduce the risk of certain types of cancers. Antioxidants It’s the high anthocyanin content that gives tart cherries that telltale dark red shade. In fact, the more sour the cherry, the higher the amount of anthocyanins. These powerful antioxidants, a type of phytochemical, help your body’s cells protect themselves from free radicals and are likely the source for the cherry’s other health benefits. Cherries also have two other potent antioxidants: hydroxycinnamic acid and perillyl alcohol. Phytochemicals This large category of substances protects your body against certain enzymes that can lead to inflammation, which can help reduce arthritis pain. Vitamin C and potassium Cherries are a good source of vitamin C and potassium. Potassium can reduce the risk of hypertension and stroke, and cherries have more per serving than strawberries or apples. Dietary fiber This has been linked to a reduced risk of colorectal cancer, and a diet high in fiber can also help with weight loss by contributing to a feeling of fullness and reducing the spike of insulin and blood sugar. Seven different cancers are associated with excess body fat, so maintaining a healthy weight is important. Cherries are a wonderful addition to a nutritious diet. Whether you add sweet or tart cherries, this little fruit is versatile and delicious. Eating cherries are an easy way to get important nutrients and lots of flavor, too. As the Russian chess grandmaster Gary Kasparov -- himself a harsh critic of Putin -- has noted, the entire structure of Russian political power rests on one man. When the czar died, you knew the structure that would endure and the process by which his successor, his son, would be elevated. When the general secretary of the Soviet Communist Party died, the Standing Committee and the Politburo would select his successor. But when Putin dies, what will happen? No one knows. Doctor Mike on Diets: Ketogenic Diet | Diet Review

06:56
Hey guys! I am back with the next installment of my diet review series. This week I am covering the incredibly popular ketogenic diet. Within the last year or two, the keto diet has soared in popularity and I can understand why. It is a simple diet where counting calories isn't important (who wants to count calories) and you get to eat a bunch of really delicious foods. If you are curious, the name of the diet comes from the ketone bodies produced within your body as a result of switching your body to fuel itself through fats instead of carbs. This is also referred to as a state of ketosis. Video Breakdown: Opener- 0:23 Nutrition Basics- 0:28 How it Works- 1:05 Keto Claims- 2:12 Potential Harms- 5:07 Final Thoughts- 5:27 Bloopers- 6:18 I know many of you want to lose weight and there are tons of videos on weight loss out there. But I want to give you an honest doctor's take on the keto diet, which is essentially a high fat low carb diet. Its claim to fame is that helps to burn body fat for energy, therefore helping you lose weight quickly. But is fast weight loss even healthy? + Is this the best weight loss diet? Anyway, I could go into more detail covering the smallest intricacies of the diet but I did not want to weigh down the video, both literally and figuratively. Please let me know if this is too little, too much, or just the right amount of information about intermittent fasting. Also, I want you to remember that diets are not all about weight loss but more importantly about eating healthy. So let's get started with the Keto diet explained / Ketogenic diet explained diet review! I sincerely hope you enjoy, and definitely let me know if you want more videos like this by giving it a like and a share. Whey Protein: Everything You Need To Know!

09:17
Stop throwing your hard earned money in the toilet! http://athleanx.com/x/top-trusted-supplements Whey protein is definitely one of the most popular supplements used by anyone training hard or serious about their workouts. The problem is, there are plenty of differences between the types of whey protein, and not knowing them can change your results significantly. In this video, I show you the differences between the three main whey proteins. I break down whey protein concentrate, whey protein isolate and the most expensive (but lacking) hydrolyzed whey protein. I will show you the benefits and drawbacks of each form so you can decide which is right for your particular training and supplementation goals. In general, the more processed and refined the whey is, the more expensive the product and the more concentrated the protein becomes. That said, there are many subfractions in whey that are vitally important to your immune health that get stripped away as you increase the level of processing. Whey concentrate has the greatest immune boosting benefits when compared to the more processed isolate and hydrolysate forms. That said, it also has the most amounts of lactose and non-protein components like carbohydrates, fats and sugars. Isolate protein itself can have many differences as well since the way the protein is isolated to this stage can vary considerably. Heated processes, chemical splitting, and cold micro filtration are all available (each with their own rationale and benefits or negatives) and are further discussed in the video). If you're looking for the highest quality whey protein from a brand that you can trust, I would suggest you visit http://athleanrx.com and see why today's top professional athletes are turning to our brand. In an industry where scumbags rule the day, we're doing everything we can to not only change that reality but most of all the result you see from using the best. Quick Tip: Let your potato cool before eating. Research shows that doing so can help you burn close to 25 percent more fat after a meal, thanks to a fat-resistant starch. photo: D.Hurst/Alamy 5.Salmon Why It's Healthy: -- A great source of omega-3 fatty acids, which have been linked to a reduced risk of depression, heart disease, and cancer. -- A 3-ounce serving contains almost 50 percent of your daily dose of niacin, which may protect against Alzheimer's disease and memory loss. Quick Tip: Opt for wild over farm-raised, which contains 16 times as much toxic polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) as wild salmon. photo: FoodCollection.com 6.Walnuts Why They're Healthy: -- Contain the most omega-3 fatty acids, which may help reduce cholesterol, of all nuts. -- Omega-3s have been shown to improve mood and fight cancer; they may protect against sun damage, too (but don't skip the SPF!). Quick Tip: Eat for dessert: The antioxidant melatonin, found in walnuts, helps to regulate sleep. Photo: www.fitnessmagazine.com 7.Avocados Why They're Healthy: -- Rich in healthy, satisfying fats proven in one study to lower cholesterol by about 22 percent. -- One has more than half the fiber and 40 percent of the folate you need daily, which may reduce your risk of heart disease. Quick Tip: Adding it to your salad can increase the absorption of key nutrients like beta-carotene by three to five times compared with salads without this superfood. photo: Tim Hill/Stockfood 8.Garlic Why It's Healthy: -- Garlic is a powerful disease fighter that can inhibit the growth of bacteria, including E. coli. -- Allicin, a compound found in garlic, works as a potent anti-inflammatory and has been shown to help lower cholesterol and blood-pressure levels. Quick Tip: Crushed fresh garlic releases the most allicin. Don't overcook; garlic exposed to high heat for more than 10 minutes loses important nutrients. photo: www.fitnessmagazine.com 9.Spinach Why It's Healthy: -- Spinach contains lutein and zeaxanthin, two immune-boosting antioxidants important for eye health. -- Recent research found that among cancer-fighting fruits and veggies, spinach is one of the most effective. Quick Tip: Spinach is a healthy and flavorless addition to any smoothie. You won't taste it, we promise! Try blending 1 cup spinach, 1 cup grated carrots, 1 banana, 1 cup apple juice, and ice. Photo: Chris Gallo 10.Beans Why They're Healthy: -- Eating a serving of legumes (beans, peas, and lentils) four times a week can lower your risk of heart disease by 22 percent. -- That same habit may also reduce your risk of breast cancer. Quick Tip: The darker the bean, the more antioxidants it contains. One study found that black bean hulls contain 40 times the amount of antioxidants found in white bean hulls. photo: Ted Morrison Article information provided by: Originally published in FITNESS magazine, October 2008. http://www.fitnessmagazine.com/recipes/healthy-eating/superfoods/the-10-healthiest-foods-on-the-planet/?page=10

🤷🏼‍♂️ #1 Exercise For Preventing Erectile Dysfunction & Improving Your Performance In The Bedroom

05:10
My favorite, clinically proven formula for improving ED, boosting testosterone and sex drive: 🤜 http://drsam.co/yt/BeHarderLonger You can also watch this video on my channel: http://drsam.co/yt/BestVitaminForED ======================================= 🤷🏼‍♂️ Kegel - #1 Exercise For Preventing Erectile Dysfunction & Improving Your Performance In The Bedroom ======================================= Today I’m going to reveal the #1 exercise for preventing erectile dysfunction and improving your “performance” in the bedroom. This simple exercise will also help avoid the embarrasing “premature ejeculation”, allowing you to statisfy your parter, better and long than ever before. If you’ve been following my work and watching my videos, you would know that certain exercises can either increase or decrease your libido, erection strength, hardness and even size, because of hormonal changes. If you didn’t already know, testosterone is the primary hormone that increases your libido, sex drive and “muscle size”. Unfortunately, this hormone starts to decrease around the age of 25. However, certain exercises can increase your decrease your testosterone. For example, doing too much cardiovascular exercise - like running, jogging, etc. can decrease your testosterone because of the increase in your stress hormone, cortisol. TWO things you do NOT want to do. One of the best forms of exercise for increasing your testosterone is lifting weights. However, too much of that isn’t good either. About 3-4x weekly, no more than an hour is just the right amount to increase your testosterone and help improve your libido and sex drive. The Non-Exercise, Exercise However, today I’m NOT going to discuss anything about lifting weights, cardio, etc. I’ve done that in the past. What I want to talk about is a very simple “non-exercise”, exercise... that you can do RIGHT NOW, while watching this video and that’s called, the Kegel Exercise. I call this the “non-exercise” exercise because it requires no gym, equipment or even real movement. Now, some of you may have heard of this. Unfortunately most do it incorrectly. Kegel exercises are done to strengthen the perineal muscles. To “flex” this muscle, it’s very simple. One way to describe how to do it is, by contracting your anus muscle, as if you’re trying to hold in gas. Go ahead and give it a try now... Another way to do it is stop peeing midway through. Thus, as you’re peeing, “contract the muscle” that will STOP the pee, midway through. That’s it - that’s a kegel exercise. Super simple, but extremely effective. You can literally do it anywhere, anytime and nobody would know. Sets & Reps You should do kegel’s about 3x a week to start with. Over time, slowly build up to 5x weekly. Just don’t do it every single day because like any muscle, it requires rest to gain strength. Contract the muscle (holding in gas or stop peeing) and hold for 3-5 seconds. Relax for 1-2 seconds. That’s ONE repetition Do this 10 of these, for 10 repetitions. That’s ONE set Do one set of 10 repetitions, 3x weekly. Then maybe the next week do 2 sets of 10 reps and work up to 3 sets of 10 reps, 3x weekly. You can do it all at once, or break it up 2-3x daily. Nothing it set in stone. What matters is consistency, persistence and patience. Benefits There lots of benefits when this muscle is strong Stronger, full erections Last longer, more stamina and the prevention of premature ejeculation. Stronger orgasms. Healthier prostate. Improvement for those who have overactive bladder or urinary incontinence. How To Improve Results Of course, doing the right exercises is a great start. However, the bottom line is that you need to have optimal levels of your anti-aging, “pro-sexual” hormones such as total and free testosterone levels. And if you’re over the 30, then I can guarantee that your “youth” hormones just aren’t where they used to be and are going lower and lower each year. Because of this, I’ve got a special link below, to a bonus video about how you can dramatically improve your testosterone levels and fix erectile problems in a few short days or weeks. ======================================== Thank you for watching.
