Objections are like road blocks. You can always choose another route to get where you need. But, the dead end is when the customer shuts you out completely. Mentally, they have no more time, patience, etc to let you continue your presentation.

You do not use profanity, and your podcast are always insightful. One thing the others who are out here - is the use of profanity. Profanity is like this. The speed bump is the message you aim to emphasis. But, what you do will either make it a smooth, and safe ride or bumpy, and dissembling. When you increase your speed right before the bump the cars swooops up and bashes down- NO PASSENGER LIKES THAT. In fact, I think now what did you? As a passenger I wouldn't want to ride with you again, and ill anticipate youll rush throught the speed bump again if i did ride with you.

Before a presentation, have these in mind: 1. What is the key point that you're trying to make? You need 3 supporting messages/3 proof points to show customers why you/your product better 2. Demonstration: show them your product and show them how the service works. 3. Social proof: to prove that what you're saying is absolutely true. It can be a Case Study of similar customer in that industry, in that market. 4. Always think of the Outcome once you're done with your presentation. Always have the obvious end in mind. 5. Presentation is all about Reducing Resistance. Customers have objections in their head. Raising objects during presentation will help you have more control. 6. Moving towards the end, you're going to have "Commitments" . What are you going to ask to move the conversation forward? 7. 3 big questions customers always ask: 1. Why should I change? 2. Why NOW? 3. Why buy from YOU?

Hi Victor!! I’m a licensed esthetician and massage therapist, I work in a spa. I’ve been struggling for the longest time trying to understand sales. I have to sell myself to the client because it’s a repeat business, I want clients to keep coming back to see me, not only that but I provide services and there’s a sales to that as well, then on top of that I have products that we retail. So it’s a constant sales. I have started watching your videos and I think they are starting to really help me understand more. I still have a problem with verbiage. But everyday I work to be better than the day before. I just wanted to say thank you for your knowledge. I want to keep learning more!! Hopefully I’ll be able to talk the talk and really see my sales improve. Any help on verbiage in upcoming videos would be amazing!! But again thank you for sharing your skills and knowledge

I'm very impressed with your videos that is very great but i just want to let you know that i am trying to start a school service bushiness .I can start the introduction but i have a problem how to make a good presentation and know weather the customer is going to buy or not and how to start advertising to let them know about me.

Hi Victor First I would like to thank you very much for your podcasts they are very helpful! You are definitely a great mentor! Wanted to ask , what do you do in case that in the first meeting with the decision maker I didn’t create the sense of urgency ?( I saw your podcast too late…..) my problem now is that the decision maker send me ( via his secretary) to meet with different functions in the organization and this process could last forever….Thanks, Michal

I am a mission based/nonprofit consultant and I have always shunned any sales and marketing webinars, tools, and more. Unwisely, I did not understand that while I do not have a tangible product, service is still a product. I am still in the business of sales.  Your videos are really shifting my mindset on sales and how to present my storyline of  my product!

This episode had me thinking about my service/product and asking potential customers the question: "What is your main objective when you have a sales meeting or event?" (I sell group room blocks for my resort). I then started asking myself "Are business conferences off-site productive?" I started wondering if there were any studies about the effectiveness of off-site meetings/conferences. I thought I may be able to use any positive information from that to sell my service. I'll do some research today. Thank you for the inspiration!

I found this excellent article https://hbr.org/2006/06/off-sites-that-work that has gives me an upsell that I have never seen before! After the first off-site meeting, don't wait until the next year for another off-site, have follow-up meetings to implement what was learned at the annual event to implement the goal of the meeting. That way the players don't forget or lose what the meeting was for in the first place. This is a great article for meeting planners as well. I am going to share it with my clients! I'll keep searching for more insights.
