My brother also has it and it has been really hard for him having to deal with it for many years. My brother has other things like adhd, autism, ocd, MADD, and many other things. I wish the best for both of them though there Battle!
I have the same syndrome mines not as bad as hers though I would put my hand in a fist and if I didn't I would feel tingley just like she said. I also blink a lot more then other people I know. I have gotten used to not putting my hand in a fist anymore so that's good. I told my teacher about me having it and she said that I had to get diagnosed to prove that I had it but I know I have it cause my dad has it and i show symptoms of it.
I have Tourette’s and it’s gotten better as I’ve gotten older, if I could give any advice, I’d say that it gets better, you might feel like the worlds judging you but you’ve gotta press through, it gets better, I know from experience
Living with that condition is quite hard. I can kind of understand what the situation is like. My twin sister has epilepsy. She frequently has big seizures, and I have more than one occasion had to be passed over to emergency services. It’s a hard situation to be in. I hope for the best for this bright girl
Don't worry at all!! My older brother has Tourette's and they used to be really bad when he was around 11 and now he's 16 and we barley even does them anymore!! He would chirp, twirl his hair and roll his eyes. He doesn't do any of it anymore!! The more you get older, the easier it is to control
I was diagnosed with TS last year a few weeks after my 17th birthday. I've had tics my whole life but my parents always just tried to force me to stop. they thought it was annoying and embarrassing. but after so many years my dad finally took me to see a doctor and they diagnosed me. but my mom refuses to believe it and continues to tell me to stop doing my tics. she tells me they're annoying and that all I have to do is just take a deep breath and calm down. Idk what to do :^//
I think I may have minor Tourette syndrome...I do mess with my shoulders a lot and when I blink I realise that I squint my eyes every time and I probs blink 2x more than the average human per minute, is this ok? There is no cure, but it is it really something i need to be checked out for?
Well, One Girl In My School Had Tourettes And Was Swaring Uncontrollably. It Stressed Me Out When She Was Interrupting The Class By Swaring/Refusing To Listen. And She Was Taunting, Swaring, And Hit Me 2 Times. She Didn't Have *Any* Ticks While In Class, I'm Just Surprised That You Can Get Uncontrollable Body Movements From This...
I'm Thanking This Channel For Helping Me Understand Tourettes More :)
I knew somebody with Tourette syndrome. It’s was very sad hearing that they had passed away. She was a very nice girl that everybody loved. They started a program for her that hundreds of people helped made happen. Whenever I attend a party for her my mother says not to be sad. She will always be smiling down at us 💜
I'm 11 and I have tourettes too. I only have like 3 or 4 tics that happen like once a day each. They are "Looky looky lion!" I will shout that randomly! Also I violently shake my hand for a minute. And I roll my eyes uncontrollably. That happens a lot. I hurts my eyes. Other than that I am completely normal just like this beautiful young girl. I think we would be great friends!
I have this and I had an episode in my Christian school... I’m sure you all know how that went. I got things like “are you feeling God?” and “are you being possessed?” and I simply said:
Aaaaraghhga... I couldn’t talk 😂
I’m being triggered by her. My tics are getting up. And yeah, the mom has nothing to worry about. I have a boyfriend I love and he’s taken me to our home coming and prom dance, and we’ve graduated together too just recently. He has uncles with TS so he understands for the most part but he’s loved me despite all of this.
I am really fat and I get bullied at school and I am going to go to middle school. 1 tip bullies are going to get your weak spot but friends stand up so, don’t listen to the bullies just follow your friends
Those of u guys that don’t have turrets are lucky be blessed Bc I go through of what she goes through and I know how she feels of how u hold it in, in school so people don’t look at u so funny it’s stressing and those of u that do have turrets we r gonna have to fight and deal with it that’s life there’s always gonna be drama but there’s always hope🙏🏼
