This is the second video clip I have watched by (you) Ms. Raynier. Tony Robbins coined the term "coach" in the context of personal life management. Mr. Robbins set the bar. 5 minutes ago, I discovered (you) Ms. Raynier, and my first question is why is she calling herself a "coach?" She is not nearly as energetic, charismatic, or alluring in her presentation. This speech is not pursuasive like Tony Robbins, Jim Rohn, or Cicero.
In short, I feel her presentation needs work. Thank you for sharing.
my weakness is sometimes I'm late it takes me a week or two weeks used to my new work schedule and once I caught onto my new work schedule I come by in an hour or two hours early how would I use that as a weakness and a strength?
I stumbled on this video 2 hours before my interview, and I'm glad I did. It helped me with my responses to the panel of interviewers, I'm so excited and hopeful. I look forward to coming back with great news that I got the job. You're doing an amazing job, please don't stop. Your tips are clear and practical... Thank you for all the tips.
Can I put classmates instead of co-workers for the part where she said about impatience? I'm practicing my interview questions and I never had a job before, just want to make sense here and be prepared beforehand.
Thank you so much for this video I always have trouble with interviews because I am a very shy but, I have very good skills, your videos give me good tips on how to be confident. I have a phone interview for a Supervisor position tomorrow wish me good luck!
Hi, I'm from Mexico, and I need to practice my English with a native speaker, because I want to practice my pronunciation, could I have a video call with you? I'm learning English because I want to travel to London.
I send you a warm greeting.
Linda, I so appreciate this advice. I have a major job interview for a position that is my heart's desire. Did you hear about the part of California where Oprah Winfrey lives & the torrential rains & boulders came down that ripped homes off the foundations & killed 23 people? Well, I have a chance to be the senior library technician for their little quaint library. I'm very excited & watching tons of your videos to prepare. :-) Please say a prayer for me! I love my community & just want to serve. You're the best coach ever! Hugzzzz, Melissa
I feel like your example isn't too far off a strength disguised as a weakness. If someone pulled that on me I'd be like 🙄🙄
As long as your weakness isn't something terrible or that will directly effect the job you're going for, I would appreciate a candid answer rather than a canned answer.
Can't something like: "I have not had a training/course or experience with this thing that would come in handy for the job." could be a weakness? Or if your qualifications fall a bit short for the position? Or do it have to be interpersonal? I have social anxiety, act socially awkward, and don't want it to ruin my interviews and possible career.
i have so many terrible and chronic weaknesses. i'm slow and don't have a sense of urgency, therefore I'm terrible at time management and organization of tasks. I'm also forgetful. Sometimes i'm very attentive, but i feel like i'm mostly floating in space. I procrastinate SOOOOO much and I'm late 90% of the time. I'm also kind of awkward and can't speak well. I am not good at making others feel comfortable especially when I'm intimidated or unfamiliar with others. did I mention I procrastinate? A LOT? *sigh* i feel like crying in the corner of a dark cave... i never got great grades... my peak was in elementary and middle school and then it got worse later in high school and horrible in college... and now i'm older than everyone and have nothing going for me
Hello Linda I just watched "Tell me about yourself" and this is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for this and I will be subscribing because there is a lot of great interview styles and I think I just found mines. Have a nice day.
PLease tell how to answer a question when asked what's your notice period and employee notice is 3 months and cannot be curtailed. Please tell how to reply such question when one's notice period is 3 months fixed.
I once said in an interview that my weakness is that i have handwriting like a Doctor and it's dreadful. the interviewer looked at me and said my mom is a Doctor and i just laughed out LOUD " Said sorry for laughing " then the other 3 people Laughed... I got the job purely on that i think lol
To add to my reply before--couldn't the interviewer just think the person with the "impatient" weakness is more "bossy" than impatient? See I would just much rather be honest and say I get impatient when things do not get done when they are promised. I don't see the negativity in that. With that, I attempt to transform impatience I have in other's work by taking on more responsibilities I can handle, attempting to coach teammates through difficulties, and offer any mentoring possible rather than nag my teammates about deadlines. Weakness 2 strength...... In a perfect world, everyone can just be themselves, sound worldly anyways and get hired
I'm going for my first job and was wondering if this would be consider a weakness.
I think I'd say that this would be my first job, but that I have had experience in 'list some areas and examples' to make sure that I've prepared myself and that said job would really help me to further improve that.
For anyone wondering, I said this and that I had however had experience volunteering (gave examples and skills learnt in each), and that I am a fast learner and able to learn to best suit said company, so not having a job before was something that I thought company would be able to help me with.
your commentary on having a personal brand pretty much nails it! Thanks for such a great overall understanding of how to sell yourself via storytelling and confidence in who we are, what we have to offer, and getting past the "oh, I don't have any experience for this job"
