According to Reuters on Tuesday a large group of U.S. states are calling out key players in the generic drug industry accusing them of a broad price-fixing conspiracy. The move brings broadens an earlier lawsuit moving to add many more drugmakers and medicines an action that sent some company shares tumbling. 45 attorney generals, along with the District Of Columbia raised the allegations against 18 companies and subsidiaries and named 15 medicines. Two individual executives have also been included in the allegations, Rajiv Malik, president and executive director of Mylan NV, and Satish Mehta, CEO and managing director of India’s Emcure Pharmaceuticals.
