How to Naturally Overcome Vitamin B12 Deficiency

Surprisingly, about 40% of the population is deficient. Some of the big warning signs that you are Vitamin B12 deficient are if you struggle with low energy, fatigue, lack of focus, poor memory, poor cellular function, autoimmune disease, anemia, or thyroid condition. The biggest reason most people have Vitamin B12 deficiency is because they don’t have a healthy digestive system to digest this vitamin properly, also known as leaky gut. If you can’t absorb nutrients and vitamins properly, then you won’t be able to absorb the vitamins you need for optimal health. People who struggle with leaky gut or digestive issues, vegans or vegetarians, and people who don’t have enough probiotics in their diet all tend to have a Vitamin B12 deficiency. I don’t think you need meat to be honest, if that was the case I would’ve been feeling better 🤷🏾‍♂️, maybe I should look up more type of defiencies cause I yet iron and I eat meat, maybe I need more vegetables?? Cause I feel light headed and weak a couple days after lifting and I don’t mess around I get my protein and I eat my carbs, so whats up??? 🤔 Reading all the comments, I don’t think I’m that bad, It’s just when I workout, possibly I’m lacking the proper micros. Or maybe I just have too much tension in my brain and I need to eat to recover and regain mentally. Idk 😬

Didn't the video say a 'natural' way to overcome... :/ The whole animal product consuming stuff is just getting so frustrating, especially if you're working with meat eating- gut leakers with deficiencies! More education about where the animals get the vit b12 from please.

You are wrong buddy, b12 use to be found in soil and streams eating plants straight out of the ground and brushing it off will leave b12 on it, well use to until we destroyed the soils and polutted it, and also b12 is found in cereals

the basic Foundation about what B12 is was good but the sources you recommended for getting B12 instead of going directly to the source of the actual vitamin and getting it directly is what you should be doing. Animals are often supplemented with B12 so go directly to B12 and take it in forms of either cyancobalamin or methylcobalamin which is an active form of the vitamin which means that even if you have intrinsic factor that doesn't allow you to digest the first form, if you take the second form it's already active and intrinsic value won't make a difference.

I'm not sure what to think you're number one cause for vitamin be deficiency is an inability to absorb... in the same breath you significantly played down vitamin B12 shots and suggested eating vitamin B rich foods... foods that according to you very likely may not be absorbed?

The reason I am plant based and not vegan is b12. I respect vegans (you folks can be scary lol) but I personally feel all my necessary nutrition should come from food. I eat clams or free range eggs for b12.

Grass fed is high in b12 because b12 comes from the fucking grass they eat. It is a on the surface of vegetables. The industry washes it off before you eat it. Then tries to sell you a supplement .

You have forgotten people who have Pernicious Anemia, and are completely unable to absorb vitamin B12. While I support your efforts to help with this issue, it is a good idea to determine WHY you are b12 deficient before starting to treat it. If you have PA, you cannot help this condition with food or probiotics, you will simply raise serum b12 levels but not actually raise your active b12 levels and mask a more serious problem. In order to test whether you have a condition like PA, you have to be supplement free for at least four months in order to be accurately tested. Vitamin b12 deficiency is very serious, not well understood by doctors (clearly), and in the case of Pernicious Anemia, if not properly treated can lead to serious health issues and death. Please Dr. Axe, learn more about this condition.

The only organisms to produce vitamin B12 are certain bacteria, and archaea. Some of these bacteria are found in the soil around the grasses that ruminants eat; they are taken into the animal, proliferate, form part of their gut flora, and continue to produce vitamin B12. so you say it only comes from meat? B12 in meat farming is supplied to the animals, not occurring in the meat. It´s not about eating meat or not.. It´s about eating food with it! Dont mislead people into thinking they need meat for this vitamin.

My level was recently 192, and I was having so many of the typical symptoms.It was very scary. I didn't eat red meat or eggs for years. After a series of 6 injections of cyanocobalamin and oral supplements at home of methylcobalamin, and probiotic gummies. I felt better. I've been eating b12 foods, greek yogurt, fermented carrots, and homemade sauerkraut. It's been a month now since the last injection and I have crashed. Do you think I may have a malabsorption issue?

Sorry but any doctor who recommends that the number one source for B12 is animal products is just dumb. I’d rather take a supplement, than gain all the risks and poor health that comes with animal products. I mean seriously, the amount of misinformation here is ridiculous. I’m just confused to why he says eating meat and dairy is the best, when many people who do eat it are also deficient in B12 as well.

and what about the ppl you lack the enzyme to even absorb the b12?! not all ppl can just eat different foods and take a sub lingual spray or something similar and all is good. Some of the advice was good - but left out a great big part of the puzzle!

Some Fermented vegetables have B-12 and they are extremely high in probiotcs so they heal your gut, restore absorption and supply the B-12 ;) WIN/WIN! Although Vegans/Vegetarians actually are less deficient in b-12 because they eat more vegetables and sometimes a bit of dirt you didn't wash off well has all the b-12 you need.

Iv,e had immflamitary bowel disease for years and duodenitis due to helicobacter pylori in stomach so I don,t absorb my food easily however since I had my appendix out 4 years ago my problems have worsened plus iv,e developed mental issues like anxiety and depression.  I,ve had blood tests and they came back ok but I,m sure I have a B12 deficiency. Iv,e also developed tinnitus and this is driving me to the edge of insanity.  Iv,e just bought some B12 injections and intend to take them has the B12 tablets don,t work.  Iv,e heard B12 deficiency doesn't always show up in a standard blood test so I hope this sorts things out because I have all the symptoms.

Fluids high in Vitamin B12 are; Almond milk, milo, and the guarana drink 'V'. Foods are; sardines, and feta cheese. No need to eat red meat people.

I was found to have vitamin B12 deficiency, all the things you said at the beginning, I have. I was getting treated like I was making things up till one doctor did a whole blood run! I had an endoscopy was found to have inflammatory bowl and six stomach ulcers. My Mum, my Gran and my Grans sister were anaemia all their lives, so it’s possible they had the same. My grans sister died in the 1920’s of pernicious anaemia, she was 24. My gran lived to 90 and Mum to 83. I’ll be 60 this year and so glad it’s been found, it’s caused so many things gone wrong with my body and like I said got treated like I was making it up, till I was totally black all over from falling down, not even black and blue but risen black patches. I’m now getting treatment, my diet is good, I was a special diets cook so knew what to eat. Anyway this video is good letting folks know exactly what happens, thank you.

This gout treatment “unique vovom press” (Google it) decreased my pain in 72 hours. It truly appears to function. For now, I`ll need to keep taking the product to see whether the signs and symptoms will go away or come back. I`ve tried out lots of products for my gout problem, however this is the best so far! There`s no need for meds every day, as well. Glad I`ve got this to help keep my body performing and the gout away!

Well, vitamin B-12 is found in Tepeh, Seewead, Spirulina and Tea so YOU ARE WRONG MISTER :D So You can be even vegan who don't suplement B-12 and still dont get deficiency. he's wrong. the use of supplements b12 is what vegans use so they are not b12 deficient. u get more from absorbtion from taking a supplement when you eat meat because they feed the meat you eat b12 and the meat absorbs most of the b12 and give you much less through the second digestion of you eating meat.
