These exercises are really good! Tried them last night. Didn't realize I had so many tight spots on my feet. I have bunion because my mum have them. I managed to reposition the bone on my right foot without surgery however there is still a bump on my foot and I will probably get a surgery in the future to get rid of it because I want to wear shoes that I like without leaving a bump on the side of them. How I did it was basically using my fingers on my left hand to pull my toe away from the foot while I use the palm of my left hand to push the bunion part towards the inner part of my foot until I hear a click made by the joint and you have to do it probably a few months. I am not sure if this can work for painful bunions because mine are painless so don't force yourself if you can't endure the pain. I also wear bunion correctors for a few months when I sleep at night and bunion toe spreader a few months when I wear shoes to go outdoors to make sure that the chances for the bone to go back to an incorrect position are minimised.

Had both of my feet operated on....4 screws in left foot, 3 screws in right foot....had so much pain in my feet....go have surgery if you have bunions....had 2 Drs tell me this is almost always hereditary and I believed that before they said it!!!
Do not go for traditional bunion surgery. You’ll need 6 months to a year to recover fully, with possible complications. The incision is large. Look up “minimally invasive bunion surgery”. There’s a orthopedic doctor in LA, Dr. K (Ali K.) who does it. You’ll be in a boot and walking that same day and back to work in a week. He was on The Doctors show. But I’m sure there are others who do that too.
ness joud Hi,yes we have the NHS so we are lucky,Most of the ladies I know have had the keyhole surgery and recovered well and could walk within a couple of days, obviously if it is quite extreme it may need a more extensive operation,I have one on my left foot which I was told was a stage 3 bunion,I am looking into having it done,I was worried because I have a disabled daughter so didnt want to be incapacitated for long,but if I can have the keyhole option I would.

I guess some doctors here follow the old way and make a 5-7 cm incision which is too large, but the doctor in LA i was referring to, he does it with only a 3 cm incision so i guess it depends who you go to here in the US. So in the UK, if you get it done, you can walk and recover quickly from first day?
ness joud I dont know where you are but its a very common op here in the uk,I know several ppl who have had it and they had no problems,although one lady had to have it done again on one foot as it came back,as she suffers from arthritis,I am considering it next year for myself as I have one on my left foot.

This is rubbish. I have had them since childhood, never wore tight shoes, they were hereditary. These exercises wouldn't work, have tried similar and separators, no use. It is the bones. The pain can be bad and burning on other toes which are all out of alignment and get pushed to wrong part of shoes.

yes. this video is all rubbish, Ellie Green is correct. parents gave me wide tow box shoes but I grew these as a child from hereditary reasons only. maternal bunions, granparent had bunion, its pure hereditary, no excercises or gadgets fix this , medical condition/deformity with one exception: very quality surgery.

Many bunions are caused from wearing heels, which is why they predominately effect women.
Even if yours were caused by something else it doesn't make this information rubbish as shoes are still the most common cause.
I always had properly measured & fitted shoes as a child but had to wear them for far too long. Instead of being replaced several times a year I would be sometimes wearing them for a year or more. They should have been replaced much more often.
Therefore I did develop crushed toes from ill-fitting shoes.
I also wore very high shoes for much of my adult life.
My feet, toes knees and hips have all improved greatly by these exercises and wearing toe stretchers, so they DO WORK .

I never wore I'll fitting shoes..but who has time to do these exercises?? I'm a single mom and I've had bunion since I was a teen and they are larger at 30 but due to circumstances I wouldn't have any one to help me with my kids and it's my parents job. I get up at 7:30 to get my kids ready for school and recovery for surgery is 6-8 weeks!! My kids are 8&5 years old.
