Addtabz, a legal alternative to the prescription pill Adderall, has been advertised lately in The Harvard Crimson, Harvard's student newspaper. It promises to "improve memory and learning," "enhances cognitive ability," "improves total brain function," and "reduces anxiety and improve mood." Should Harvard be advertising for Addtabz? Will it end up becoming illegal? And what are the short term and long term side effects? Find out all the details with John Iadarola and Lisa Ferguson on TYT University.

Oh my God, you guys sound like some old geezer that think pot and heroin are the Same thing. " ooh look at me, I'm a young whipper snapper and I snort the marijuanas and play my Pac man video games." Friggin' chodes.
I looked into it and there's nothing harmful in addtabz. Of course, there's nothing good or effective either. In fact, the most effective substance in them is simply caffeine. The other ingredients are akin to herbal supplements. They will do nothing for you and they won't harm you unless you have a bad reaction to caffeine. In which case, you would already know about it and wouldn't be trying things like this.
If you need a boost, buy some adrafinil. If you need something stronger, try CRL 40, 940. The CRL 40, 940 is kinda expensive and really f'ing strong though. You have been warned. At least it's legal.
Adderal is not bad for you, stupidity is. A lot of bad reveiws of this are also sabotaging from drs and competition. They get things for selling certain drugs and certain amounts. Now it is a risk and there are plenty of bs vendors. Its up to you if you want to take or eat anything and weather you choose to look into it or not. Its only helped me both adderal and this. Its fine and greatly improved my life.
Stop saying Adderall is bad for you like it's a drug intended to destroy people's lives. It is supposed to be therapeutic to people who actually need it, and the only bad connotation associated with it is people who don't need it, abusing it. You guys are just too ignorant.
Absolutely right. And do we actually think ADHD is real? Before anybody says anything I take Adderall for ADHD. Back in the day you did what you were good at but now you're expected to be good at everything. If you were hyperactive and had a hard time focusing you picked a career that's Suited your abilities. Usually (not always) Something more physical. That's not because you're any less intelligent than someone without those traits. Most people with so-called learning disabilities are usually well above average in intelligence. There's much more I could say but I don't want to I'm getting bored and losing my focus lol
I'm not trying to be a jerk or rude to you but I think you don't understand what Adderall does to a person physically and mentally. it's a horrible drug. Nobody should take it. There's a reason why "speed" isn't legal. Its because it's an amphetamine and it can kill you. People talk about how bad crystal meth is right? Well what do you think methamphetamine is? I take Adderall but I'm not naive to its effects. And I don't mean it can kill you if you take too much. You can be taking the lowest dose and it could cause cardiac arrest even in a healthy person. The physical and mental effects are awful whether you "need" the medication or not. The pharmaceutical companies are not here to help us they're here to harm us and I know that might sound out in left field but it's true. I don't give a crap about us it's a cash cow. look up pharmakeia
+Noelkins Gonzalez In my experiences with them I have not had any denationalization or depression or detachment from reality. They do almost nothing for me physically but mentally wake me up similar to coffee. I did happen to notice that it would make me more hot headed- more of a temper and angry easier- feel rage.
This girl seems really uneducated and knowledge when it comes to things like this. Not sure why she thought she should have any input on this whatsoever considering how she doesnt have a damn clue about a single thing she's talking about, when it comes to things like this.
This substance is NOT amphetamine such as adderall is. It is as simple as that. You can not match the narcotic substance amphetamine with Addtabz. By the way, It is WAY over priced. You are better off drinking a redbull than using addtabz.
+Ahmetcan Töre Not really. I have used adderall, vyvanse and ritalin more times than I can count. Addtabz is such a sorry product that indeed, yes, as shocking as it may be to you, a ENERGY DRINK will leave you more well off, its safer and will leave you in better physical condition than addtabz will.
Daniel Musgrave addtabz is not an amphetamine derivative. All amphetamines are placed in schedule 2 of the controlled substances list. The only exceptions are research chemicals such as 4-fluoroamphetamine and otc meth analogs such as propylhexedrine
Its not narcotic or even as strong as coffee. Ephedrine plus will give you more energy and concentration and you can buy that over the counter. Ephedra tea is stronger than these pills!!! Dont fall for the scam. It is a energy product, maybe so, whatever. But IT is NOT a comparable alternative to adderall. IS NOT!
Well its been over 3 years or so. Has anyone's balls fallen off? lol. But honestly, Im struggling a lot in life and im 110% sure I have ADD but I really don't want to be diagnose with it. Does anyone have experience with this alternative?
I had to take ADHD medicine for 8 years and I got all my medicines prescribed to me by my doctor. I would not recommend take a non-perscription version of a perscription medicine because your doctor is not going to know you are taking it and will not be checking up on your health every month or year like he would with a perscription medicine. You could then have rapid heartbeat or some other problem and the doctor will think that there's something wrong with your heart but, in conclusion, it could be just a side effect to the non-perscription medicine you are taking. Also, you could have a side effect and not know it which could be doing damage to your body. If you take a prescribed medicine and you have rapid heartbeat or some other problem then the doctor will know right away that it might be a side effect to the medicine he prescribed to you and if he detects that you have a side effect to the medication then he could catch it early before it gets worse. That is my opinion.
I take these everyday and love them. Anyone have any questions? Personally, I'm just wondering how safe these are. Like he said, they seem like the kind of thing that might get recalled in a couple years.
i buy addtabz 1 month ago >>> 60 tablets i dont feel like i'm smarter but i feel anxiety uncomfortable and some chest muscle contraction on wright side <<<<
i have checked my Blood Pressure its 160/90 in my first dose but in 1 week decreased to 140/90
i have cold extremities excessive sweeting and fatigue in after drug withdrawal
adderal alternative is myth
Apparently, Addtabz are just 1,3-dimethylamine (aka DMAA) and CDP-choline. The former was used as a 'dietary supplement' and both are reported to increase mental focus/memory. The patent on DMAA ran out years ago so they can sell this without being sued. However, it has recently been banned and the effects aren't that well known so you're taking a risk here.
Meth isn't an amphetamine analog, it is an amphetamine. If it were methamphetamine the company would have been shut down, methamphetamine can only be taken when legally prescribed.
That's right folks, ask your doctor if Desoxyn (methamphetamine) is right for you!
unsure why people still use drugs. binaural audio can treat pain, allow you concentrate long through the night and allow you lucid dream among a host of other things. It's been around since Monroe Institute pioneered the research in the 70s. search: Study Aid 6 - Alpha + Gamma (Helps With ADD/ADHD) - Brain Entrainment
Benzo's are easy too, but pain pills are a bitch. Used to be easy, but DEA raided pharmacies and doctor offices in our city so doctors send you to a pain specialist if you need diluadid, oxys, and so on now-a-days. I am sure there are doctor/doctors who still gives scripts out like candy but they used to be all over the place in my town. Now you need to see a pain specialist to get those kind of meds.
We've got to be in different states because in Texas to get addy's you need to have a reason and I can get a 240ct bottle of 8mg diluadid easier than a pack of skittles, due to past injury but around here benzo's and pain pills are the easiest to obtain.
Let's talk about the fact that the US military uses a much finer drug to keep people awake called Dexadrine. It is now being marketed for ADHD. Few side effects as most women in the 60's and 70's took 5mg 3X a day so they did not get fat when they were pregnant.
its an analog just like the bath salts and incense they basically try to copy the chemical in a lab as close as they can and hope it has similar effects but that incense is nothing like pot it gets you high just not the same way so i would say this stuff is going to be the same deal almost the same chemical and a slightly different feeling it wont be legal long especially if they are advertising it
From my experience, kids/young adults who take adderall think they are doing a good thing. Often not viewing it as a drug, but as a academic tool to help them pass tests or study. Also they tend to look down on actual "drug" users, not considering their addiction and usage to be the same thing. Guess what smart ass frat-pill heads, marijuana is 10000000000 safer and more productive than pills. Fucking pill popping white America.
If you are under 25 getting a prescription for adderal is like hitting the lottery then having sex with Jim Jong Il. Unless of course you have actual add ad/hd the doctors know whats going on with Adderal and they gotta be crooked to give it to you unless you need it.
Another problem with those online drugs/supplements is that in the fine print of the ordering disclosure, it usually says it will charge you like a $100 and keep sending it to you until you call them to cancel, and you usually don't find out until after it has happened and in that fine print, it does not allow returns or refunds.
Beyond the study aid stuff a nonperscription ADHD drug could be a very good thing. I have ADHD and due to being on a very limited budget where I can't afford a psychiatrist to get a prescription for the meds I had been taking I am currently off my meds. So a nonperscription version might be something worth checking out for me and other poor ADHD folks.
If this product is in fact safer than Adderall; whether or not it actually works as well or better, then it is more productive to advertise that versus students sticking with the unhealthy Adderall. Not that students should be encourage to take drugs to perform better, but for those who already do, I believe its better to promote the safer alternative than not mention it at all. Again, this is assuming that it is in fact safer.
Energy booster that can make you stay up all-night without feeling tired. It helps cramming, because you remember more information not being tired from staying up all-night. Adderall scientifically proven raises test scores slightly. It is supposed to be an ADHD drug
I am not in college anymore so I dont take it.
When you take adderall what are the results? I mean do you feel light headed or good or what? I took some before and it did nothing at all. I just got thirsty. Does adderall make people high or something?
Community pharmacists are the health professionals most accessible to the public. They supply medicines in accordance with a prescription or, when legally permitted, sell them without a prescription. In addition to ensuring an accurate supply of appropriate products, their professional activities also cover counselling of patients at the time of dispensing of prescription and non-prescription drugs, drug information to health professionals, patients and the general public, and participation in health-promotion programmes. They maintain links with other health professionals in primary health care.
