Do you prefer taking non-stop long haul flights or do you divide the trip into 2 or more flights? My limit is about 8 hours in one go so I tend to have 1-2 layovers depending how far I'm flying. Also, I like mixing airlines and try new ones I haven't flown before. Risky but exciting :D
If the trip is up to 3 hours I always choose the window seat, it's kinda more private. Over that always an isle seat so I can stand up and move around whenever I feel like it.
I'm obviously referring to coach and not business or first class.
I prefer a non stop flight if I can get one. If I have to connect then I prefer to break it up in the middle rather than a short flight and a long flight. The more connections the higher the chance I won't get where I'm going :)

Hi Chris, my husband & I accidentally found your YouTube clips while searching for Maui travel tips. You have quality information (unlike some other youtubers), quality images, plus you have a magic spell to make us laugh. I wonder how we missed you out in the past. Now we watch your videos every night. BTW, we live in San Diego, too (near Balboa Park). Thank you for your hard work!
Take hygene wipes to clean tables and arm rest, toilet seats etc. If you haver to take off your shoes make sure your feet are clean with clean socks.
Question: Why don't peope adhere to instructions when landing. Anouncements always state "Do Not Unfasten Seatbelts Until Plane Has Come To A Halt." No one ever does this and it's a free for all. So annoying.
We run a thousand people a day through every one of our airplanes. The carpets are filthy with germs from around the world. Don't take off your shoes. You also do not want to be searching for them in case of an emergency evacuation.
