In this lecture, Dr. Michael Klaper discusses the critical importance of gut bacteria, lists diseases and conditions that can be caused by “leaky gut syndrome,” and details how to cure it.
How do you know if you have a leaky gut? What is an Intestinal Permeability Test? What should you do if you have a leaky gut? How can you repair gut integrity and the barrier function? How long does it normally take?
Dr. Klaper answers these questions. He talks about the difference between eating sugar as a flavoring versus eating sugar as food, explains what happens when you kill off “good” bacteria in your body, and how to defend yourself against “modern life’s assault on friendly intestinal bacteria.”
Dr. Klaper says, “In any complex natural system, you can’t do just one thing.” He reminds us that everything is connected and that what we do have repercussions and consequences.
“Leaky Gut” may underlie dozens of serious medical conditions – from acne to autism and AIDS to autoimmune arthritis – and it affects far more of our population than is realized, which is why its clinical importance is being acknowledged. Dr. Michael Klaper, a practicing physician for more than 40 years, says the causes of “leaky gut” are dietary and environmental.

I've been vegan for 3 years and recently got diagnosed with crohns disease. I eliminated gluten and yeast from my diet and started eating healthy. Instantly my symptoms cleared up, firm stall, less cramping, less mucus and blood in stool etc. Doctors need to wake up. Up am a living example of this evidence above!!
Is there any connection between Proton Pump Inhibitors (heartburn meds) and Ulcerative Colitis? I've heard the lack of stomach acid can let the bad bacteria thrive? I'm currently weaning myself off Prilosec and have been vegan for almost 6 months.
I was a Pescatarian for 3 1/2 years and then started to eat meat again, and thats around the time my symptoms started. I wonder if theres some connection there?
This is why I wanna go vegan. I have Crohn’s disease and I’m only 15, I’m sick of having to stop doing stuff because I have a cramping stomach every hour and bloody diarrhea. My parents aren’t supporting me being vegan and they won’t listen to me when I say it will help. For some reason my doctor told me to NOT eat lettuce! I think it’s so he can just prescribe me a ton of medicine because I was taking around 8 pills a day! I live with my stepmom and my Dad and they treat my baby brother with a different type of care. He doesn’t even have any disease but they get him separate juice for nutrients but they don’t get any juice for me. I just want to go vegan because I’m sick of suffering, does anybody have any advice?

Thanks for the Video clip! Excuse me for the intrusion, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you ever tried - Franaar Strong Immunity Formula (search on google)? It is a good one of a kind guide for Curing Leaky Gut Syndrome without the normal expense. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my GF finally got cool success with it.
Crohn’s disease the vegan diet helps but you must take one more step. You must also eliminate yeast or any yeast associated products like alcohol. Crohn’s is.possibly due to pathogenic cousin of yeast. Unfortunately, standard yeast has proteins shared by the pathogenic yeast and the immune system reacts to them. Do search in nutritionfacts.org for Crohn’s to see the video about the association. The vegan diet aspect to it helps because it changes gut ecosystem so less pathogenic yeast stays around.
katyavideos i did use pressure cooker to make Kamut wheat which works well. I tried hard red winter wheat before and i think its too tough but the Kamut works well. Barley is a very good food for the pressure cooker.
