Man. I had a couple of those vinyl cape Jawas. I remember being annoyed that they weren't the 'proper' cloth version. I ended up getting at least one of those as well.
If only i hadn't sold all my SW & ESB figures 20 odd years ago for a measly $500.
My collection of vintage star wars back in the 1980s was amense with everything ranging
From ships like the millennium falcon space ship , Darth Vader star destroyer base.,
Rancor monster and tatooine skiff and not forgeting the figures I had hundreds of the
Vintage figures including 4,lom , bossk , Han hoth,imperial gunners,boba fett,barada,
Wicket w Warrick, and dengar.
Dam I truly feel like throwing up.
I remember as a kid in 1977 having those jawas and Darth Vader figures. I had several of them cause
I would always lose or ruin them.
Boba fettcas well. My parents bought so many of those Star Wars toys. I even had the Death Star which had the garbage compactor.
Just wanna cry
I had Yakface, I even had a vinyl caped jawa, i also owned a 12inch bobo fett which had a lens in the back of his head that you could look through, you cannot find this for love nor money now, super rare! My friend owned the cardboard half sphere deathstar. not seen one since then, sometimes on ebay they pop up, but they were so delicate that they never really lasted that long anyways!
Holy cow i have the medical droid and bobbafet & Darth Vader with the pop out light saber I have a Darth Vader head full of all the original star wars people all in excellent condition I also have planet hoth with built in at at walker and a miniature death star with cast iron like figures you can put Luke hon princess leia in trash compacter and they pop out of it also came with Vader storm troopers and I have a storm trooper transport that has buttons on top & you push and they make different noises anyone interested please let me know I also have the original millinium falcon
Fyi...a loose figure Boba (fixed rocket) is same figure as Boba (from Cartoon Droid). But if it is still carded, this Droid Boba would make this list. Lesson to be learned is toys are not toys, but items to be worshipped for their packages. 😂🤣
WOW, I actually have the Darth Vader and Jawa they have in the video. The vinyl capes did rip at the arms, but I still have them. I also have the Early Bird figure set with Luke, Leia, R2-D2, C3PO and Chewbacca.
Damn, I know I had these # 9 Vader extension Saber $1,000's, 5 FX-7 Med Droid @$2,000, #2 Rocket Firing Boba Fett $50,000 (Had Rocket firing Battlestar Galactica Cylon Ship too, If I recall, It's wings expanded to show the rockets that could fire off & Colonial Viper (Seems I recall an extra fuel pod as well but can't be certain if i am just thinking of the show or if I had the pod as part of the toy all definitely pre Jan-Feb 1978-79 move as I believe they vanished after the move along with a Evel Knievel Motorcycle with a Zip Pull that made it move and a Smash up Derby set that pieces fell off and seemed to bend but able to pop back into place)), #1 Jawa Vinyl Cape $53,000 (can't recall if mine was Vinyl or cloth but was purchased @1977-1980) Recall seeing but not purchasing little pewter Star Wars Pisces pre 1980 at Enterprise 1701 in Orlando of South OBT/1702 where picked up a lot of figures, posters & other merchandise (before they moved to the 1701 address location by the Naval base in Orlando).
Wonder what Boba Fett, Bossk or Hammerhead? Promotional Mail Figure @1980-1981 (I think was Hammerhead but was definitely 1 of the bounty hunters only could get with mail in of proof of purchases available via mail only sometime after Jan or Feb '78 or '79 (Depending on which year it was that we had moved, Baby bro born in new house March '79 but mother had a miscarriage before & do not remember which house we were in when that had happened) to early '80's at latest)..
Had all original figures with several versions of Vader, Luke & Solo, X-Wing, Cloud City Ship, Vader Carry Case, AT-AT but do not remember accessories with it as later ones definitely had been sold with & Boba Fett Ship all purchased 1978-summer 1981 at latest. I am sure I had other ships as well , just can't recall as I had only turned 11 by July of '81 & I do not recall purchasing anything more after spending all my summer $ from mowing laws that year.
I think I had a Millenium Falcon, definitely had one if part of the top was removeable to place action figures inside it.
I have a pair of Adidas Gilbert Arenas collaboration 2008 "Black President" trainers limited edition brought out to celebrate Obama becoming President they're black and white in colour only 1000 were made and I have a sample pair. I believe Obama was presented with a pair, Gilbert Arenas has a pair in his collection and maybe Adidas has a pair for their museum collection but other than them I have the only other pair (UK size 10) and considering their age in very good condition and their up on ebay for sale.
Seeing this shit pisses me off.
I HAD that Vader, and Jawa dolls...amoungst other shit like OT action cards, tie fighter, shirts, alotta other miscellaneous stuff gone....thrown out by folks or lost ot stolen though childhood
Only thing left i have is Boba fett figure, abd ROTJ movie book from 1983...which i havent seen in 10 years.gonna go looking for it soon as i get home!
Stop saying loose figures at 2k each....im started to tear up....but that bottle of Ripple I bought with the money from selling my figures was soo good! And I had like 3 Yak Faces I bought in Scotland...
Listing and selling is two different things. I can list my empty coke can sitting next to me for a Trillion $$$ but that doesn't mean someone will buy it. Check the completed and Sold listings on the side of the ebay auction site. That will show what people's paid and willing to pay for something.
Number one, why did you put that obi one sculpture on there, it has no rarity what so ever
Number two, where in the world is the red snaggle tooth and prototype emperor's throne
Number three, i cant trust this video because of how poorly researched the prices are and theres only one prototype boba fett not three
I had that JAWA with the vynle cape. My mom bought it for me at Lanco in Phillipsburg, NJ. In fact, I had ALL of the figures from the first and second movie. Had the big and short Bosk figures, too. I got my (non missile firing)BOBA from the "mail in" free figure offer.
Gave the whole lot to my sisters kid when I left for collage. Guess he played with them until the fell apart...man if only. Right?
I had these rare SW toys back in the 1980s. Then TV pastor Robert Tilton came along and declared that sci-fi toys were demonic. My parents were personal friends with the guy and made me get rid of all my sci-fi stuff. All those future $$$ in the garbage. Check out the Robert Titlon fart videos on Youtube. Pretty fun.
I had 2 or 3 of those Vader toys when they came out but lost them a long time ago, otherwise I'd be swimming in cash. But that's okay because I bought a mountain of Force Awakens and Last Jedi toys. I'm not gonna burn myself twice. In 20 years I'll be retiring on my own private island with the money I'm gonna make off of those babies! Boy!
I know I'm late to the party here but, is 'listed on eBay for $53,000' the same as it's worth 53 grand? Did it sell or is that just what they were asking for it? Seriously, if I list a common Vader for a million do I get the record?
FIRST OFF JAWAS ARE MY FAVORITE SECOND OFF MY DAD HAD ALL BUT 3 OF THESE AND THEY WERE STOLEN BY A NEIGHBOR MINT INBOX WHEN HE WAS 15 I MOST OF THEM WITH UNPUNISHED HOLES IM NOT LYING THE THEIF OPEND THEM AND THEN PLAYED WITH THEM AND LOST THEM I CAN ONLY IMAGINE
