Love watching you both!! Off topic...Kristin, I had my first colonoscopy 2 weeks ago. It was so much like you had said in the video you did! The prep really was the worst part. I swear I thought of you throughout the whole prep phase! 😂. But seriously, THANK YOU for doing that video!👍👍💕
Melissa and I are the same age and I remember so much of everything you guys were talking about!! Great Fun!! I'll go over to her channel to check out all the cool things you two got!!! Your both are just so fun to watch when your together! I love both of you of course on your own channels! I'm a little late in watching this - I had to leave town for over a week and boy did I get behind in my videos!! I hope your enjoying your weekend. Hugs to you my beautiful friend. xoxo Deb :-)
HI Ladies, I love your video. I remember MTV when I was in High School. It was so cool back then and I remember everything you gals talked about. I loved Elvis but I loved my MTV. I was in Kindergarten when the Watergate thing started totally like I was an adult. LOL. I really do remember it. I remember the Vietnam War my uncle was in the Navy on a Swift boat and he came home thankfully. WOW the bracelet POW is so cool. When the first Gulf War came I was in my early 20s and I wrote a couple of soldiers who were in the war. I remember pinball machines and people would play it when we went to the Pizza place. I remember the OJ trials I had my daughter when it was airing. I got so sick of it. I just loved your video. Please do one about your high school years!! Big Hugs, xoxo Becki
Do you all remember the first car phones...the bag phone? It was like carrying a toaster around, and the headset was connected by a cord to the phone unit which was plugged into the cigarette lighter in the car! 😂😂😂. That was like 1995 or so?
We just got tickets for Eagles in July next year. This will be our sixth time to see them.We were unable to go to see them in Philadelphia summer past.Dublin got sold out so we have to travel to England.
Where are you from Kristin? I also grew up in southern Cal

Melistin videos thank you
OMG I was born in 68 and a kid in the 70s and I remember everything ur talking about. My brothers and my sister r 9,12,13 yrs older than me and then a younger brother 2 yrs younger than me. We were like two generations for my parents who didn’t start having kids early. My mom was 40 when she had me. And my dad 42. I don’t how they did it. I was a HUGE 80girl teens, married the same year I graduated HD because that’s what we did and wanted at 18 then. My first son born in 88 grad in 86 and married if I didn’t say what year. I remember Bag phones for the cars only rich ppl had them then. But as an elementary kid we lived in a one of the two biggest cities in the state in the south. So we had cable early and etc. then 6th got we moved to a tiny town with about 1400???? Ppl maybe. Where my dad was born and raised and my parents owned the local newspaper and my dad was also a preacher. He was a teacher when I was little bitty kid before we moved to the city and job fell thru as a teacher so my mom worked and my dad stayed home and took care of us. For five yrs before moving to the tiny town where I lived almost 20 yrs. there wasn’t cable there when we first moved. We way behind there. Barely a grocery store. Always traveled out of town for shopping. At least 30 miles closest bigger town not city. Lol. But I learned a lot with older siblings early and just wanted to be grown up and get to do what they did. My sister had a Gremlin car. Lol. My second oldest brother didn’t move to city he was married at 16 she was almost 15. They lived with us till we moved and they finished school and everything a lot help with both parents. Still married 45 yrs later. Crazy times. I love this video. Do more of these. Lol.
My daughter and I were 40 minutes away on a trip from calif on 911. We were flying home that morning. I too, thought it was a little plane as well. We had to drive home the next day. Drove home with flags hanging out the car windows and terrified.
Such a great video.. .remembering world events! I worked in downtown Phoenix on 9/11 and remember downtown was shut down and everyone sent home. Bombers were all over the sky on my way home.
I remember everyone going into the conference room at work to watch O. J.'s court decision.
The first color show I watched on TV was Ed Sullivan when he had Elvis perform.
Love you, Jodi
Love it when you two get together. My first car was a green camaro, and two years later, my dad traded it in for another gold camaro with a brown vinyl top! I was daddy's girl! Thirty years later, my sons could NOT BELIEVE their mom had two camaros as a teen and early 20s. They were so jealous! BTW, my camaros cost around $5,000!!!!!!!!!!! (each).
This was a fabulous video!!! I grew up in Chicago, about 5 miles from O’Hare airport, so our house was always vibrating from airplane engines. I turned 33 on 9/10 and the next day the unthinkable happened. All the airplanes were grounded for a few days and the silence in the air from lack of airplane noise was haunting.
I also came from Melissa's channel. I love these collabs. :) You too look so pretty. I am in the same age group as the two of you. I remember all the things you were talking about. Woodward and Bernstein. Associate Director Felt was deep throat. He revealed his identity on his deathbed. The first VJ, Martha Quinn. I love the friendship you too share.
I’m born and bred NYC & if you are from here you either knew someone who was killed in 9/11 or you knew of someone.
The hardest memorial service I went to was for a friend who the could not find the body. The pain in this mother’s face is something I will never forget.
The Robert Palmer video you were thinking was “Simply Irresistible”!!
I loved this video. So many things have happened in our lifetime. I am 65 and I remembered all these things. I am going to watch this one again. I want to get that book! Have a very good weekend. Love you! Connie
Wow!! Brought back a lot of memories!! Robert Palmer's Addicted to Love. Loved that video. My kids were born in the 80's and I have a Christopher. I don't think anyone will forget where they were on 9/11. I was on travel and could see the smoke from the Pentagon. I so did not want to fly back home. A lot of great things happened too! Always fun. xo
I remember everything. But mostly the Rodney King. My Dad was a silent partner is a store in Compton. It wasn't looted but he would drive in from Hintington Beach every day to make sure the store was still standing. I think back now and how dangerous that was, but he was adament bc he had just retired and invested a lot of money. He certainly had angels watching over him ❤💚💜💙💛
What fun! I think it’s funny that you didn’t grow up with a microwave...my mom had one (one of those BIG countertop one) in our kitchen in my teens...and I just turned 64. My family also had a color tv in the 60’s but my husbands first one was mine when we moved in together in the 70’s. What fun memories! Thanks for sharing! Hope you both have a wonderful weekend! Now I’m off to Melissa’s channel! 😘💋
I absolutely loved this video, it was great to relate to your memories. 9/11 had us all in shock over here in the UK as well, I remember putting the tv on after the first plane hit and they were speculating it was an accident and then the second plane hit, unbelievably sad. Even though we are across the pond, the OJ thing was never off of our screens either......much love...Bella xxxx🌻🌻🌻
Being 62 myself, I was sitting here going down memory lane with you … screaming out the answers when you were struggling to remember different things! LOL! I would love to get that book, so many things from our childhood, more from the 60's when I was really a kid (not yet a teenager) …. JFK & RFK, the moon landing, etc. I was in grade school when JFK was assassinated, but clearly remember the announcement over the intercom at school and everyone being sent home, walking in our house and seeing my Mom in front of the TV, crying. So many things (good and bad) to remember for us Baby Boomers.
You two are so cute. I was in that same age and this brings back some memories. My children were born in 1981 and 1984 so I was also busy with raising kids. I did follow news but not like today. So fun ladies and now I am headed to Melissa’s video.
OMG - I have never felt so old in my life! I'm 10 years older than you, Kristin, and a Brit, so have a few events that were etched in my memory that probably wouldn't be in that book. But, I did know all the answers that you couldn't remember!! The things that I remember most from my life - Churchill's funeral, Beatlemania, The British Invasion, JFK assassination, Nixon resignation, Vietnam, The Challenger (I was working in a kindergarten, and we were watching this live with the kids......).John Lennon's murder, 9/11, London Tube Bombings, IRA bombings, Columbine massacre, etc. etc........ This was so much fun! Thanks, ladies.
Oh my girls, this was so interesting. It brought back sooooo many memories for me. My son had been in the Air Force one year when 9/11 happened. I had the tv on, and saw it as soon as they showed it. I never thought at that minute that he would be involved in the attack back....well he was... I was more than devastated when he called and told us that he was on his way.....I lost 20 pounds in a matter of weeks...I could not sleep or eat or think straight. It was a horrible time for the US, and us parents that had children involved...thank God he was over there many times and came back unharmed....love you both,,,xoxo
Well, firstly let me say Thank You Susan, for your son's service. I am glad to know he came back to you unharmed. I can't even imagine what it must have been like for you while he was over there. My son was all but a signature away from enlisting in the Air Force when we moved to GA, he decided to see what it was like here, and never did sign. xoxoxo
Good Morning to you both! I loved your video today!! I remember most of the things you were talking today! When the rocket exploded I was sitting in my den floor folding my youngest son’s diapers!! It was in 1985. I won’t ever forget that day! Thank you ladies I just love you both!!!
