I have been doing your yoga for upper back and neck pain daily for a few years. It's made all the difference in my life. I recently added this one because of pain due to working out. It's amazing. Everyday I wake up in pain but it's gone by the end of this video. I appreciate you so much!

Thank you for your videos. Is it possible that after beginning yoga,im on my fourth day at twice a day approx 20 min each time,for my upper back to be sore from all the new stretching that my body's not used to? Might I add though,after doing Psyche truths videos...I feel 100℅better!!😊
I recently strained my lower back when lifting weights. It was a painful week, but within two days of doing these stretches, two times a day, along with some of the other lower back videos, I am significantly much more mobile and relaxed! Thank you so much! I will continue to use these to get ready for and to close out the day :)
I looked for something like this and I'm glad to have found this. I have one question though. When you do the stretches, is there a count to take before switching to the other side? I noticed the long pauses before you switch.
You would typically want to wait 3 - 5 breaths between each pose (in and out = 1) before moving on if you're doing a flow. If you're doing this to more-so hold the pose, instructors have been known to leave their class in a pose for up to 2 minutes for the full effect of it.
Jen -- you are amazing at describing how to get into each stretch and explaining the types of feelings you will get in each muscle. I ended up watching 4 of your videos last night, doing all of them before bed! I love your methods and I really love how long you spend in each pose. I learned so much just from a few videos, thank you so much!!!

this works great thankyou. i have a horrible body from sport injuries and have just found yoga to save my pain. This is helping me in lower back as well as upper shoulders and my upper thigh in hamstrings. couple muscles in glutmax that are very tight. cant even extend my leg and sit up without shaking. and when i lay on my back i need help getting up because middle back shakes. any advice would help ty.
Hello...I enjoy your yoga videos thanks so much for showing...I have been having back problems for a couple of years.....You created another video for back pain with similar but slightly different poses... do you recommend this one...or did you just want to show a variety?
I like these but is there any other stretches for pain in my lower back and hips that you would suggest please? I have what my osteopath calls "posturised ilium" - basically my hips shift out of place once in a while and I get a lot of pain on the bottom left corner of my back. Horrible :( If you can think of any stretches for this I would be very grateful :)
in 2003 I fell down a flight of stairs and herniated my L5/S1 disc(lots of intense nerve pain). I spent several years in a wheelchair, and then several years using a walker. This video has helped me recover from 4 surgeries on my back last summer. I am now up and walking again, and am starting training for my first 5k. Thanks Jen!!!
hello im still young but already experience sharp pains that wake me up, due to my work and college, coming from my lower back, this has really helped I find most back exersices are to intense for the back and strains me from moving, but after using this I find it is calm and has made it easier for me to get up and go in the morning. any more for neck pain? :D

Thank you Jen! Your classes are great! I have or I should say had problems with my sciatic nerve on the left shooting from the buttocks running down my leg. I followed your videos morning and night and my sciatic nerve is at bay but I have to do my stretches otherwise I get stiff again. Thanks again
