Bio: Sales Motivation speaker, trainer and author Victor Antonio is proof that the American dream of success is alive and well. A poor upbringing from one of the roughest areas of Chicago didn't stop Victor from earning a B.S. Electrical Engineering, an MBA and building a 20 year career as a top sales executive and becoming CEO of a multimillion dollar high-tech company.
Prior to being CEO he was President of Global Sales and Marketing for a $420M company. most places i have worked for did not have much involved in training. maybe a few words here and there (which were usually wrong). oddly enough the best advice i learned in person from a company was a strip club. i am still struggling controlling the conversation. trying to find a meetup/club in my area of sales people so i can practice instead of only when i have a customer infront of me. is like never going to the shooting range or run and guns , but going straight into a combat situation.. bound to be messy and not in my favor.

I'm trying to get a new job in sales. I currently work in a garden center selling mulch and plants to customers, and I notice I really have a knack for it, and a majority of the time I always sell product to the customer.

I'm a car fanatic. so no there are sometimes no greater place for a car fanatic to be then amongst a lot of cars. my dad and I used to go look at the new model corvettes and Camaros. we had no intentions of buying anything, that year or the years after....don't always assume people want to buy when they go into an establishment. but I will say I agree with everything you said in this video. I worked at Radio shack and they pay commission based on phone sales. well I was the type person who was like they either want it or not I'm not gonna haggle them.

I sell Insurances. But it has been a hard time for me since a year. I could not find out a way to sell insurances for both existing and new customer. All my methods that worked in the past are just blocking my clients.
I gave options like to my clients like "Doubling their Assets", regular incomes with one investment, and what not. I am trying to figure out new way to influence people to buy insurance from me and nothing seems to be working right now. I am in a very bad shape right now. Are there any tips or techniques that you can help which will work specifically with Insurance agents. I would be grateful to you if you could.
Not everyone is a buyer. Good salespeople QUALIFY buyers. Good salespeople recognize and respect the stages of buying, the first being the looking/consideration stage. Respect it or risk alienating future sales.

I just started working at best buy I know my stuff and can talk to anyone. This last week I was selling more than everyone in the store. I want to keep up my knowledge on how to sell better and be better than anyone in store! Great talk Victor
