DAVV (Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya), is a State University whose jurisdiction was initially restricted to Indore city. Later on, its jurisdiction was extended to seven tribal dominated districts of Indore division namely, Jhabua, Alirajpur, Dhar, Khargone, Khandwa, Burhanpur and Barwani. It is thus catering to the educational needs of the most industrially developed district of Madhya Pradesh, Indore on one hand and to the seven tribal and rural backward districts of the State on the other.

Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (D.A.V.V.) of Indore, one of the most famous universities, was founded in the year 1964. It is located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. DAVV offers various UG, PG and Research level programmes to the students in multiple streams such as Arts, Science, and Commerce etc.
Admission to M.Phil and Ph.D. will be done on the basis of DET 2018 conducted by the university. Admission to several UG & PG Non-CET programs is done on the basis of Written Test followed by Counseling. Whereas, admission to some of the UG and PG courses is done on the basis of Counseling. The university also conducts DAVV CET for many UG and PG courses.
Candidates can fill the application form for CET and DET through online mode. For Non-CET programs, application form with prescribed format must be submitted to the university department with DD of the application fees.
