I have had knee problems in the past and my knees have been aching since the first time I did yoga is that normal? and is it as effective if I place a pillow under my knee when doing yoga? and do you have any suggestions on what I can do to help with my wrist? I have weak wrists.

Hi Sanela, every time when I do the right arm left knee section, I can feel the heaviness and a bit pain in my lowest part of the spine and hear a crack sound. No such feeling when I do the other side. And when I complete the 20 minutes workout, my lower spine feels pain. The pain may last one day. Do you have any idea what may cause it? Should I continue to do this workout? Or do I need to adjust my posture to fit it? BTW, I really like it. I don't want to give up.

First I want to thank you! This video has transformed my body. I have 2 children, my youngest just turned 1 and have my body back to when I was married! Everyone has noticed! I have been doing yoga daily for about 2 years now but this has really targeted the abdominal strength which is what I needed. My question is do you have a similar video that is intermediate? I love this workout but I am feeling that after 1 month I need more of a challenge. I like to stay with the same instructor, and yes, I have shared your videos with every female that compliments my body.

Wooww , this is hard !!!! No way !!! It needs some preparations..... And things like that ... And things like that .... dr dr , Sanela you re awesome , but also Most of us dont have 40 min per day to do exercising !! Please do some video no more than 10 min , with a most beneficial , vital streches ... as this is too long for me ... and Too Hard !!! Cheers

I never comment on videos but I must this time. Sanela, you are making a difference in my life. Before I started your sessions, I was dealing with extreme fatigue and was hospitalized in October for suspicion of a heart attack ( it wasn't a heart attack after all) but my blood pressure was so high I could have had a stroke. I started doing your videos last Wednesday. I also go to a Buti yoga class on Thursdays. But it is your sessions that have made my fatigue a thing of the past from the very first day!!! I do three of your sessions daily, yes 3, and I love it. I skip no days because I finally understand that being thin does not always mean you are a healthy person. I am on a mission to feel good and be healthier and you have become an integral part of that mission. I watch to the very end of your videos because your pep talks mean so much to me. So, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Namaste.

You are my favorite. I've been working out every day to your videos for 2 weeks (except weekends) and I can already tell a difference. I wish I had done this sooner! I thought I had to go to a gym for this, and I have 4 kids. I have no time for a gym! I'm also planning to quit smoking this weekend. I can't believe it, I'm actually motivated! Thank you! Doing this for a 4th day and enjoying it very much. I have a question about cobra pose, you have your arms straight, core lifted all the way, but I was taught to lift it just half-way and keep elbows close to the body and bended. Could you comment on that? Also - from the horizontal position in order to wake up - I always roll to a side, lets say left, and then lift my body helping with a right hand pressing to the floor. I believe it is better way because it saves from any neck injuries. What do you think? Thanks again

Simple, accessible core workout. The approach is gentle, the tone is inspiring. There's no sense of the "overdoing it" vibe. She keeps it simple., and provides levels options w/o judgement. For me, it's a good, daily practice. I know this because I don't feel my self resisting it beforehand. Other ab videos test my limits much more so but I find I'm less inclined to go back Here's the gist: after a couple of simple twists (looped 3x): (1) High Plank (hold); (2) Cobra (hold); (3) Up-dog (hold); (4) Side Plank Left (hold) + Right (hold); (5) Spinal Balance/All fours - Left leg/Right arm lifted, Right leg/Left Art lift (hold, core tight); (6) Child's pose; (7) Simple bicycle twists (L-elbow/R-Knee); (8) Simple bicycle twists (R-elbow/L-knee). All holds are about 10-20 seconds.

And aren't you sometimes concerned that: "I can't even touch my toes, how can I do yoga?" Yoga is not about touching your toes, or stretching 98 degrees to your north-east. It’s a simple process of uniting with yourself - using your breath, body and the mind. And it’s easy and effortless. Yoga A New Dimension to Life: it's best to start learning the yoga practice under the guidance of a qualified yoga teacher who can lead you through the correct way of doing each technique. This would help you learn yoga postures properly and avoid possible injuries. Some of the philosophies or techniques taught in yoga may be new. It is a good idea to keep an open mind as it will help broaden and enhance your yoga experience. Simple wearing, high thinking: Wear comfortable clothing while going for the yoga class or when practicing yoga at home. Also, avoid wearing belts or excessive jewellery as it could get in the way of yoga practice. A lighter stomach aids to your yoga practice: it's a good idea to practice on an empty stomach or at least 2-3 hours after your last meal. Also It is a good idea to at least have three to four litres of water during the day as it will help you to flush out the toxins out of the body which are released during your yoga practice. Smile to take you through the miles: See the difference for yourself. Keeping a gentle smile relaxes the body and mind and helps you enjoy the yoga postures much more. (I learned these and why they work on Betwans yoga blog website )
