I was frustrated when the instructor changed positions without saying anything about it. When you're trying to follow along it's helpful to hear instructions as things are changing, or before things change. I would also like to have feedback from the instructor to know if I'm doing positions correctly or not- so If I notice my hips aren't aligned with the mat I can make adjustments or if I feel a stretch in my thigh I'm doing it correctly. There are other videos/instructors that do a better job with that and I believe that is needed to be able to safely exercise and get results at home.

I was reading the comments so i was nervous going into it, but i have to say that this video had the the perfect amount of challenge and ease! I've never done yoga before and i don't work out regularly (at most its probably 2 times a month) and this video gave me a pretty good workout! Obviously if you want to lose weight and become more flexible its going to be a challenge so even if something is "beginner" don't expect it to be without some challenge! I thought this lesson pushed me enough to feel a good burn in my legs and there were times in the video that let me relax too! I can't wait to watch the next video!

I've been doing this routine for 2 weeks (3 times a week). I lost 5lbs in the first week. I'm 14st 5lbs and not flexible with no upper body strength but I have done a couple of yoga classes before with actual instructors. What I think is lost in this video - and the reason why most people are complaining in the comments - is that you do as much as you can for as long as you can. You can't get your legs vertical? Go as close as you can get, remembering you are supposed to feel the stretch. Can get the knees that close to your chest? Pull them in as close as you can and hold it for as long as you can - focus on your breathing and you will hold the pose longer than you actually can. The poses I struggle with the most are downward dog and plank because I have no strength in my arms or wrists. So I hold it as long as I can and then rest in child pose until she moves into the next thing. With practice we will get more flexible! It's a process!

Just once I wish there was a free yoga video (for losing weight) with the voice separate from the movements. Like, record the video, then add the instructions. Spending too much time talking makes me have to take a break in between poses..

I physically couldn't hold myself in certain poses for that length of time. My hands would slip under my mat and this made me feel useless. I am a proper beginner and this felt like I couldn't do anything becuase I wasn't flexible enough. Sticking with Adrienne I think :(

Question am i suppose to be so shaky while my legs are in the air.10:53 and even shaker while trying to lift up? I have two kids so my abdominal area is very weak but i cant seem to lift up . Is that normal?

My hands are killing me after this i couldn't do that push up pose at all today is day two: it's so much better.. i can even do the push up pose a little. I love this. today is day three... i'm feeling amazing after this.

This was so painful and difficult. Never done yoga before. I believe this is too complicated for me. However, I am proud that I've made it through and loved the challenge. I feel so great. Hopefully my technique improves soon.

I keep seeing comments about how this isn't for beginners but let me tell you I fell behind slightly and had to take a small breaks but I still tried my very best to keep up and I completed it. We can't expect to go from not knowing anything about yoga to being a master of it from our first try. Keep pushing yourselves to be better I know you can all do it!

It will help the teacher customize your yoga posture practice. Simple wearing, high thinking: Wear comfortable clothing while going for the yoga class or when practicing yoga at home. Also, avoid wearing belts or excessive jewellery as it could get in the way of yoga practice. Wake up at cuckoo’s call: Although it's best to practice yoga postures early morning, if it doesn’t happen, don’t let it be an excuse to not practice yoga at all! You can do it any time of the day as per convenience. Smile to take you through the miles: See the difference for yourself. Who would`ve thought that I has been capable of achieving these fabulous results? I actually never thought in days that I would be able to decrease 7 lbs. Almost all it took was a google search just for this diet “sowo hope site” for me to learn all of this. You have to give it a go. Google and study on the topic.

I love your videos but you need to turn off the ads popping up midway through! Can literally think of nothing worse than an advert appearing when you're trying to practice yoga - sooo distracting!!!

The point of it saying it's for beginners is because I actually is. Just because it's a beginning course and this is your first ever time, doesn't mean it's suppose to be easy. You gotta do it daily for a couple weeks and your body will very quickly be able to stretch more and more. You become more and more strong in your core. It's meant to be easy to adjust to for some who has never done it. Y'all cry and give up way too easily, damn.
