My absolute most used tool as woman. 2 pieces of round pipe. I have a 1" and 1 1/2" diamater pipe cut at different lengths for breaker bars. As a woman I have a harder time with stubborn bolt than most guys! I also love my floor Jack and obd2!!

I just saw your video I have to be honest I've been doing this close to 30 years my favorite tools are the Jack and Jack stands with a block of wood no 2 is a breaker bar no 3 is a 1/2 corded impact gun works for everything from lugnuts to fly wheel bolts no 4 is my transmission Jack it's great for holding an engine is place if you have to remove an engin mount no 5 is my obd 2 scanner and a bonus tool battery drill great for not only drilling but also for tapping and with the adapter great for sanding
my top 10 favorites are as follows.
in all honesty, working on cars, tractors, lawnmowers (no order)
1. endoscope/borescope. (its saved me too many times.
4. a good socket set
5. breaker bar with welded extention (trust me i need that)
6. locking pliers (for fuel hoses)
7. pump (hand held or electric)
8. impact drill
9. box end wrenches
10. a nice work bench
I've used a torque wrench to break a bolt loose, often times I got through the foot pounds by fives until I get a clean break, that way, know how many foot pounds to tighten the bolt when I put it back on. Obviously a better way to know torque ratings is to do deep research; but will breaking the bolt loose with a torque wrench ruin the torque wrench?
Because of DIY tips I saved hundreds and hundreds of fixes on my car.
I changed a tie rod end that the car shop asked $240 for.
I changed my muffler which the shop asked somewhere around $100 for.
I changed my vent solenoid valve which the shop asked $180 for.
I changed my breaks which most shops asked $500+ for.
I am about to change my valve cover gasket which the car shop asked $170 for.
It is REAL money you're saving here.

As far as scanners go, if you have an Android phone I recommend an app called Torque Pro. It's a $5 app and when paired with a $15 or so bluetooth OBDII adapter makes for a fairly powerful scan tool - at least as good as the one you demonstrated, for a very low price.
Harbor Freight tools are good but not all of their parts have lifetime warranty for example the jack shown in this video. For their tool its a hit or miss type of thing. When it comes to jack stands I would only get branded like Craftsman since its a matter of my life lol. TBH price for craftsman jack stands is very competitive comparing it to Harbor Freight. Long story short, I would definitely buy from them but not everything Thank you everyone for their inputs and Chris!
My truck is currently in a crank but no start condition, and I'm trying to self-diagnose. I am new to working on cars and stuff, but I want to try. Would you guys recommend the innova 3130 (pictured in the video) or the Lemur lsd2 that he linked in the description?
