Dr. Berg talks about supplements doing intermittent fasting.
POTASSIUM: helps preventing kidney stones, both uric acid and oxalate stones. The citrate from potassium citrate helps to breakdown and prevent stones and in the case of uric acid - you need potassium citrate because it can alkalize an overly acid situation. This helps also in the transformation from glucose metabolism to fat (ketone) metabolism.
B-vitamins - are also necessary - for this use nutritional yeast.
Vitamins - I recommend raw wheat grass juice powder (lemon)
For those people who have insulin resistance or diabetes, I recommend Insulin & Glucose support.

For the electrolytes and wheat grass powders, can I mix them and drink them together? I also have a pre/probiotic powder that I've been taking for about a year. Is it OK to mix all of them or should they be consumed separately?
Thx Dr Berg, sharing the video,
I am going thru Keto flu kind of symptoms where my heart palpitations are really heavy. It’s so heavy that I get this throbbing headache, Would you or anyone who tried this , recommend the electrolyte drink to overcome the symptoms ? If yes , how much should I drink.
I'm so glad and grateful to come across these videos. I was looking over the Keto Kit and noticed the Wheatgrass Juice Powder
. I have Celiac Disease and will not be able to include that. I'm wondering if Dr. Berg suggests a comparable substitute? .. Thank you. 😊
The question of: does wheatgrass powder break a fast....keeps getting 1/2 answered. On one, Dr. Berg says "sure" what does that mean? I don't want to RUIN 16hrs w this if I don't need to. Please post a cohesive answer. Thank you.
Dr Berg, bought your recommended supplements, including ACV. a) when do we take all of these supplements, e.g. do we take them all at once before a meal, do we sip them inbetween meals?
b) Are there any of those supplements that will knock us out of intermittent fasting?
c) is it ok to take an essential amino acid supplement (capsules) during fasting to preserve muscle wastage - would this spike insulin, would it knock us out of ketosis?
Hi Dr Berg, i just started taking your electrolyte powder and have had nervousness/anxiety after taking it... i've been doing keto for about a week now and following strictly. Is this a kidney function issue maybe or too much potassium? i also get the same feeling after eating bananas or avacado which are considered higher in potassium as well
What about post menopausal? 61, needing boost in libedo for woman. The diet is helping tremendously, moods up, losing weight. Exercise is going better ...But...do post meno need your dim/estrogen balance?
I watched all your videos with potassium in the title and the only supplement you mention is potassium citrate. Why is that? I find potassium gluconate in stores. I stumbled on potassium chloride in Nu-Salt. What are your thoughts on these as alternative supplements? I understand cooking can potentially destroy the good things we are attempting to consume. I would love to see a video on things that shouldn't be cooked. Love your videos! Thank you.
I'm reading where people are only getting 30 level scoops (using the scoop included) instead of the 45 servings that it states on the can... Any comments about this Dr. Berg? Your losing trust in people... please respond to this.... it's not going away... Amazon will kick your product soon if you dont correct this as people are sending it back in droves after they've been screwed and then simply use Amazons 30 day guarantee policy...
I take DHEA and am currently doing a prolonged fast (1 week). What are your thoughts on taking DHEA during a fast? I have only been taking apple cider vinegar, pink salt, shilajit and green tea during my fast and am 3 days in.
I think it depends on the kind of nootropic. You want to ask yourself if the nootropic provides you with a certain amount of energy/fuel for you body. So if you take fish oil (omega 3), that's a lipid, so I think it will break your fast. I think most things are fine though.
Hi doctor berg ,your potassium friend pat in London, what you do is really great, your work helps multitudes of people.a chemist I trusted told me all I needed was 185 mg of potassium a day, what rot, I now eat 100 grams of ground hemp seed a day 1200 mg of potassium I do OMAD ,spirulina seaweed 1363 mg of potassium per 100 grams,Lima beans 1724 mg of potassium per 100 grams, black turtle beans1500mg of potassium per 100 grams, kidney beans 1406 mg of potassium in 100grams I could go on and print the rest of the beans, but I would be writing all night,I think that is enough for about potassium,it the 18-4-2018, here in London.👍🏻👌🏻💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇😎😀😃😄😁😆🕶🕶🕶🕶🕶🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀
What about the nutritional yeast, does that break a fast? If not what are your thoughts on taking that in the morning with my Apple cider vinegar? I know if may taste disgusting but I’d like to just get it out the way all at once!
Can u drink supplement shake during fasting cycle ? Or only during eating cycle ? I am normally following 3 meal plan.. wake in 8 in morning have green tea , normal tea. Have a banana in around 11 , lunch around 1 , another cup of tea in evening around 5 and Dinner at night around 11.
I ordered one of their products, i never got a email notice it was shipped. 2 weeks later i email asking them. I'm told the tracking shows delivered. I never got the product. the worst part of it Dr Bergs side took no effort to help track it. i say it shows they wont take any responsibilty for anything else, Highly unhappy with there service. on the good side they responded very quick to my email to let me know go look for it.
There's a lot of incompetence going around. The products pass through a lot of hands before it's delivered to you and it's also possible it was delivered only to be stolen. I had activated a tracking update on my phone which alerted me to my delivery and I immediately retrieved my packages. I live in a gated community so that's one layer of protection I enjoy.
*When* do you take these? While fasting or with the meal? I'm concerned about taking supplements late into the day as the energy boost might keep me up. I'd therefore like to take my supplements with my keto coffee, is that ok?
Perhaps I missed this in the video, but you cannot take traditional yeast during the fasting State because I will knock you out of your fast. There's a caloric intake from that. So I'm just assuming that you're talking about making sure you eat it with in your feasting time frame. I'm doing a more hardcore intermittent fast, where I only eat during during a one-hour period And fast for 23 hours.
Jeffrey Stanley yes. I also use Morton Lite salt which has lots of potassium. I also carry 99mg potassium capsules with me. If my heart starts pounding heavily, especially when standing, I take one or two and it returns to normal. I eat lots of salads and drink Dr. Price’s electrolytes, but I have absorption problems from trauma to my stomach from an accident and multiple surgeries to repair.
Would you recommend this product to someone with an advanced health condition and a small appetite over a high quality food based multivitamin mineral? Or is it for someone who has a pretty good diet already and this is more supplementary compared to assurance that your getting everything. Like for example Dr mercolas multi is pretty packed, but you need to take 8 a day and it's expensive. This is for my mom and I'm looking at getting her a food based multi and not sure what would be better. I take the mercola as it is, but cut it in half. She has advanced osteoporosis and arthritis and a small appetite. Doesn't eat perfect when she does eat either, so something that's more complete I would think is better, but 8 pills would be too much for her and a powder drink would be more convenient and having less pills a day to take since she already takes quite a few would help, but I can't tell how complete it is.
