Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the creative minds behind The Lego Movie and 21 Jump Street, bring their unique talents to a fresh vision of a different Spider-Man Universe, with a groundbreaking visual style that’s the first of its kind. Spider-Man™: Into the Spider-Verse introduces Brooklyn teen Miles Morales, and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one can wear the mask.

Yeah I won't be supporting this movie, The director is a Antifa supporting piece of trash and I will not have my money potentially going to support domestic terrorism, I'll probably just go on pirate bay.
I've never been into the Spiderman comics, much less the extended universe. I knew there where other Spiderman, but I never got into it... but I'm genuinely exited for this. I'm definitely gonna see this
Comic books include concept of multiverse. This way authors could create totally separated stories which would not disrupt the main storyline( known as Classic Marvel Universe, Universe Prime or Earth-616). In those alternative universes Peter could never become Spider Man, or become villain, or actually become Spider Man and kill people, or retire and finally having raised a kid( his daughter dies in main universe).
Marvel Cinematic Universe , believe it or not, is also just an alternative universe - Earth-199999, with different events, characters, Peter Parker being Tony Stark’s apprentice, Nick Fury being black and assembling Avengers and etc.
This cartoon works same way and just introduces the very same concept of alternative universe.
I know that Miles' dad can be seen as annoying. But look at his position. He's a cop. He doesn't know if he'll make it home that night, so he does what he can to spend time with Miles.
He's a great father and doesn't fall into any kind of trope.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate the animation style? It looks amazing. I can't tell if it's 3D or 2D. Either way, the fact that this is the 1st animated Marvel movie since the MCU debuted (even though it's not a part of it) and it just looks beautiful.
Is it just me or does spideys voice at 0:50 (the "hey kid, you're like me") sound like John karasinski who was rumoured to be voicing and older Peter. In my opinion it definitely doesn't sound like Jake Johnson like later in the trailer.
It turns out I was right. I read a review that Hotel Transylvania 3 was bad, just as I had predicted. Let's all hope now that Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will turn out better than Hotel Transylvania 3.
Oh man, I can't wait to get this on Blu-Ray and just go through it frame by frame just picking out all the little stylistic details.
If this is as good as it looks it will be safe to say that Sony is the king of animated Spider-Man adaptations
Christopher Sainduc in comic books Peter is adult since 1970s. He graduated school and uni around first 180 issues. Since then he was once married, had a kid and a lot of things happened. He is currently in his 30s.
Movies, however are catering to kids and always portray his first 2-3 years of superhero career.
