I just weighed myself and I'm comfortable after losing 60 pounds and keeping it off for more than a year now. I was starving myself. Now, if I'm hungry at night I eat about 500 calories. I'll ever go back to eating CRAP, just JERF; just eat real food. If people only knew what's in their food!!!!!!! Damn food lobbyists. Can't get any real news on what's in our food. Thank god I read my "EatThisNotThat" newsletter every day. I learned things that can't be unlearned or fall back on. PEOPLE DON'T RESEARCH. They think fad diets and gyms are the way to go. I proved them wrong. No exercise and no fad diet. JUST EAT REAL FOOD and avoid CRAP (carbonated drinks, refined foods, artificial anything, and PROCESSED FOOD.
Veganism is the worse diet to people and environment. I was a vegan for almost 20 years.. No society existed before on plant foods only. They religious zealots trolling social media with death threats.

I just steamed a potato sweet potato a little bit of a cucumber and some kale all together and it didn't have the knockout flavor but it was good probably more healthy for you than a bunch of loaded flavors stuff
I was addicted to food since I can remember in my early childhood, I'm now 22 and free for the first time from my food addiction (eating every two hours, eating when not hungry, dreading feeling hungry, eating huge portions, stomach issues) I have tried everything, calorie counting and such but my brain would never stop asking for more food. Now I stop when my stomach is full (and not when it's about to explode) and hunger isn't something that bothers me. The temptation is all around but being free from addiction is one of the best things that happened to me in the last 10years. I finally feel like I'm a normal human being.

I like a lot things Dr. Fuhrman presents. I find his research interesting, too, but I also find it limiting. For one thing, I am allergic to everything in the legume family, and I wonder about the research when people with allergies and food sensitivities are eliminated from the start. I mean, yes, they might find that people who eat Greens, Beans, Onions, Mushrooms, Berries, and Seeds do better than the national average, but this might be preselecting people who are healthier from the start vs. showing what the effects of diet are.

everytime i eat food that "initially was considered dry (prior to cooking)" i get it too
my explanation is: when the stuff chills in the colon my colon instead of absorbing water from it gives was to these foods to have an equilibrium going on, and in the process u get dehydrated
if u asked the guy if he got "really slimey hard to open eyes" in the morning im so sure he would say yes
its also methionine and cystine related i think, cuz it gets stronger if i eat more protein

The problem is the assumption that a healthier population is better for the economy. With privatized health care such as we have in the U.S., the more sick people there are, and the more procedures and drugs they need, the more profitable it is for health providers and big pharma. Similarly, the more addiction to fast food there is, the better it is for the fast food industry. With such incentives, it is no surprise that preventative health and nutrition are not widely promoted.
economy is defined as Greek oikonomíā household management, equivalent to oîko(s ) house + -nomia -nomy. your using the increase gdp definition which is basically mass suicide or genocide. there is no problem in forgetting about trying to boost gdp. it isnt a measure of anything rational. it could be that more wealth is created by a healthy population though but even if it wasnt it would still be the thing to do. it would be real wealth rather than fantasy wealth.
After just 45 days on the Nutritarian Diet, I have shed 15 lbs (7 kg). I can see and feel improvement in my 52 year old skin. The dark rings and wrinkles under my eyes are actually fading. I feel better.
One easy rule is to not eat (or reduce) 0 fiber foods like animal products and refined substances. All animal products have 0 fiber and if reducing or eliminating animal products, should take b12 supplement. 0 fiber in refined substances like oil, sweeteners, juice, refined flour, protein powder, salt, supplements, etc. Tofu often has 0 fiber so better and cheaper to eat unrefined beans. Supplements are also not real foods and are often overpriced so should keep supplements to a minimum.
After the post war famine years and post war poverty years, seniors in okinawa have already increased their protein intake via more seafood and pork. I heard seniors need more protein than younger people.
Dr Michael Greger does not seem to care about ratio of carb, fat and protein as long as you avoid refined substances like oil, sweeteners, juice, refined flour, protein powder, salt, etc. Based on traditional diets, possible to use high fat foods like nuts, seeds, fresh coconuts and durian as staple foods.

his testosterone is way too low, his bones r probably weak af and could crack at any moment
rda for fat is >20 <35% for a 100 years or so FOR A REASON.....no fat = no hormones....
test it urself - increase fat and see how ur hormones change...ur face starts looking more masculine and u get horny af

Good for you!! Animal products aren't really part of his GBOMB plan... he just says that a very small amt. is okay, as long as the person eats the healthy diet he promotes. I believe this is a better approach because then people don't feel as if they have to be 100% compliant, which most people just can't do. To me, this will encourage more people to eat a healthy diet because they don't have to be perfect. Dr. Fuhrman is awesome!

recently there was some 16 year raw vegan lady that now eats animal products again
for some veganism just "works" and they dont have to think about pretty much anything...others tho (like me) cant digest anything with white starch in it (UTIs from hell)...and i get some weird muscle tremors/weakness from pasta (that last really long....like 3 weeks or so)...but i dont bleed or something from gluten...it just shreds my small intestines or something

+sooooooooDark you're joking right? Beans, tofu, soymilk, oranges, peanut butter, cooked broccoli, cooked potatoes, avocados, and many more all have choline. If you eat enough you are fine! Been vegan 17yrs and have never had a nurtritional deficiency... neither have my kids(youngest 16yo) never had cronometer to tell me what to eat lol.
