one should never buff nails. it makes the nail thin, eventually you will be closer to the nail bed.. and the more you do this whole buffing process the nails becomes dryer quickly..it becomes a cycle.. also nails can crack, split, thin nails bend easily which hurts the whole nail area etc.. always protect the nails from water with a good quality nail polish.. apply vaseline or oils or thick cream regularly.. this is enough for strong nails..

I dont know if this smoothes your nails?

amz g it does however do not buff to much! do it a little bit and focus more on the shine (because thats what I like best) only buff once per week! however if you want REAAALLY long natural nails I suggest not buffing. buffing can have good and bad effects

If you buff your nails incorrectly your nails will split.

love the video very helpful, what is it that you used to rub in the buffing cream with?
finessence808 (5 лет назад)
does the product penetrate the nail bed as in the cream get in the layers to moisturize?

What exactly do chamois buffers do? Does this file the nail bed or free edge? Can I use it to smooth out my free edge when I'm done with a rougher file? Do i have to use a cream with the chamois? do chamois take layers off the nail bed

I generally suggest that one waits for 5-10 mins after buffing for any nail polish application. by that time most of the residue cream is absorbed and your cuticles and nails have soaked in all the nourishment they need . then rub your nails with some cotton to remove any excess cream and also to get off any dirt or dust that the cream might have attracted to the nails. then go ahead with nail polish application.

End result looks good. I got 1 question tho though, should I clean that buffer cream residue before nail polish application? As any oily residue worsens polish chipping.
