Ok so I don't want to be distasteful or offensive but everything you say in this video is completely misleading and I cna't help but think it is misleading by design! beetroot is among the healthiest food anyone can enjoy and the side effects you talk about are insignificant compared to the haelth ailments you attribute these side effects to. Psudohematuria? so what? Risk of kidney stones? what about pepsi and cola? Rash? I am allergic to shrip so I know not consume it and I expect anyone who develops allergy to beetroot to stop consuming it. However, what is the percentage of people who actually develop these conditions? throwing the word Harvard in there does not make you legit. Harvard CAN be wrong; that is assuming you represented their findings in the proper methodological context.

Wtf natural fruits donot have any such harmful effects. Plus beet are known throughout history for incresing blood so it is really good for anemia and also pregnant women. If you dont have work make videos on harmful effects of mcdonald sandwiches and fried chicken why would you make video on such untrue thing..
From what I read, it said beet juice is good for your kidney because it reduces BP.A supplement like stone breaker help people who are prone to get oxalate stone. I drink organic beet, carrots, celery, apple, potatoes, and radish juice every day. I also took stone breaker just to prevent from oxalate stones. So far so good.No stones.
We all know beets are high in natural sugars, but the way your body breaks them down and uses them are far different than they way your body respond to and uses simple, processed sugars. This other stuff does not sound serious, and some of it is down right silly, such as the warning that eating too many beets might leave you with more minerals than your liver can handle. From too many concentrated supplements perhaps (think of sodium chloride, table salt), or you might get a gradual calcium buildup from too much milk, cheese or yogurt, but from eating your vegetables? Seriously? Are mothers really endangering their children's health by admonishing them to eat their vegetables? That's just nuts.
This is really true. After I drink beetroot I got too much stomachache and throw up and collapse it was right after drinking the beetroot juice. Then I was not convinced. ex catholic, I used as recommended of a supplement form. I suffered lots of very bad side effects. Severe Kidney and Stomach pains. It has to do with how often I used the supplement of Beetroot. I was using it twice every day as it was said on the bottle. In two weeks, I had serious problems.
They said the gas was from ingesting an unaccustomed amount of fiber, but that could happen with a sudden switch to any high fiber food when you are used to a low fiber diet. If so, you just need to up your fiber intake gradually so your body can adjust. Of course, that would not even be a factor if you are ingesting juice.
