Assuming my note organization strategy works out okay for my first round of block exams in a couple weeks, I could possibly do an in-depth video on my study strategies and how I'm using the Flexbinder if you all would like? Let me know! Always happy to answer any questions you have in the comments or via email. do you if most universities offer a bachelor's degree in science? I'm not sure what college to look into or if I choose one randomly and they will offer that degree. Do you any in California? Thank you.

I love this. I just want to go on for a minute. I dropped out of highschool. Hung out with the wrong crowd. All that. After 7 years I got tired of being drunk and doing nothing but working as a bar tender. My dad was a single dad and my mom is still MIA. I ended up sobering up, and having three boys. My brother committed suicide. Just awful. My big sister is an Md and she's my biggest supporter. Before I sobered up I'd fall into her house, she'd feed me. Make sure I was ok. But never judge me. She would just tell me when I was done doing the run around she'd help me do anything I wanted. I literally woke up one morning. Took my ged pretest. Took the ged test the same week. Got my diploma a week later. After that I felt like I was on fire and could do anything. And I am!! I'm majoring in biology and then I'm praying I get accepted in the pharmacy program next year! I've prepared myself for failures mentally but I work my ass off to maintain my 3.5 GPA. Im a single mom. Work full time. I don't use government assistance, my sister does help me with groceries sometimes between paying for daycare, gas, loans, clothes for my kids, run down apartment, and my squeaky car it's rough. But I'm showing my boys how important it is to have an education. One day my run down apartment will be a comfortable house. My car will be nicer. And I'll be able to repay my sister as many times as possible. Thank you for posting positive videos like this. My social life is non existent but that will come sooner than later lol. But really, if I can do it, anyone can!!!!!!!

Texas Tech pharmacy graduate. My advice is work in a hospital if possible. Retail pharmacy isn't what I thought it would be. unless you like talking on the phone with insurance morons all day.

They can actually differ based on what school you're wanting to attend! Usually they require classes like Anatomy/Physiology, Calculus, Organic Chem I and II, Physics, Economics, etc. They should be listed on each school's website!

Hello there! I was rejected twice (the last two years). Any advice or tips to deal with depression and what to do?
ChloeRaeofSunshine (1 год назад)
Carlos Carrion hey I got rejected from pharmacy originally. The first time I applied I got an interview and I thought it went really well I was certain I got in so when I got my rejection letter I was devastated. I called and asked why I was rejected and what would make me a Vetter candidate. They told me my pc at was too low. My GPA want so hot either because my freshman and sophomore year I slacked a lot. I cried for a few weeks which looking back I needed but it was probably longer than necessary. I reevaluated that this was indeed what I wanted to do. I saw that the school I wanted also accepted a spring class. I studied my butt off for two months I mean almost everyday I studied three to four hours and longer on weekends. I took breaks as needed to stay fresh. I retook my PCAT and nearly doubled my score and even got in the 91% for writing. When I got my letter this time I was nervous af. But now I'm sitting in the city I'll be moving to looking for a new apartment to start pharmacy school in January. Access whether or not you want this and whether or not you are willing to go to great lengths for it. Take your time to feel the rejection then fail forward. You got this and good luck in whatever you choose. No matter what try your hardest. -ChloeRaeofSunshine

It's so cool to see your first experiences and hearing your thoughts! I'm going to Southwester Oklahoma State University this fall to start their PharmD program! I'm very nervous, but you make it look so...right. I'm excited to see the rest of your videos!!

Congrats on starting soon! Pharmacy is a wonderful field. One year in, and I'm loving it! Even during exam weeks, I'm grateful to be a part of this field.

how old are you ?
Cookie Munster (2 года назад)
Oh okay thank you. :)
PharmLife Peyton (2 года назад)
+Cookie Munster I actually had 4 years of undergrad and earned a BS in psychology, but many pharmacy schools do not require any sort of degree beforehand. Many people are able to finish their prerequisites in 2 years!

Your videos were seriously a God-send! I'm 18, have my AA, and am about 3-4 semesters away from finishing the pre-requisite courses for the pharmacy colleges I'm interested in. Do you think not having a bachelor's degree is going to downgrade my competitiveness compared to other students? Also, (I know you just started but...) how much do you think the undergrad courses you took prepared you for your program's curriculum? I've been psyching myself out wondering if I'm cut out for something this rigorous, but your positivity and confidence are so inspiring!!! I have lots of questions, but I don't want to bother you 'cause I'm sure you have lots of studying to do lol. Hopefully you keep posting 😊 good luck 💊❤️
PharmLife Peyton (2 года назад)
+Cheryll Garcia Very few people in my class actually have Bachelor's degrees, so I don't think that will harm your chances at all! I do feel like the pre-pharm classes I took at my university set a good foundation for the classes I've started so far (Knock on wood!!! lol). My undergrad university had an extremely good medical school, so their upper-level bio/chem classes were pretty difficult and really catered toward prepping future med students, which in turn helped us pre-pharm students a lot too. I really recommend working in a pharmacy or shadowing some before you enter pharmacy school too! That work experience is proving to be very valuable to me now. My first set of exams will be over on Monday, so if you want to email me I will respond to any further questions you have then! Glad to help. :)

this is really great, as an aspiring pharmacist thank you so much!! your videos are such a help :)
