I keep seeing all these dancers that are amazing and I love dance but I'm insanely inflexible and it kinda really sucks that because of that I can't go far in dance which I love so even though I'm a little late then most kids I wanna start and take dance more seriously and I really wanna be able to do a split

Soooo I tried to do this everyday and update but MAN it’s hard. BUT I don’t like letting ppl down and not keeping my promises and I FINALLY graduated hs so I can actually do this full time. I won’t promise anything this time😬 but hopefully I can keep it up! Here we go again: DAY 1: I am weak and inflexible asf so I’m definitely a beginner again lol. And like before my left side is easier to stretch than my right for some odd reason but I’m still pretty far from the ground. I’ll be back tomorrow to update :)

Thanks so mischievous after doing this one I was 2-3 inches off the ground and before I was like 7!! I will do these stretches everyday. Btw they weren’t that hard

Okay guys. I started this last night. I just follow along with the video. I'll keep you updated. Please note: I'm 25 years old. NEVER done a split in my life. And not very flexible. 😂😂 We'll see how this goes! 6-13-18: I did it for the first time. I was maybe 7 inches off the ground. 😣 lol these stretches are foreign to my body so I did better than I thought I would. 😂 6-14-18: I followed along with the video...and guys I can say I have improved. I'm maybe only 5 inches from the ground! And during the stretches I was able to tuck my head further when doing the middle stretch standing up. And sitting down I'm able to get my chest closer to my leg than I was yesterday! Hopefully the improvement continues!

I'm interested how you warm up for these splits?? I got some pain in one part of knee ( not exactly knee but near knee ) even I warm up on "school p.e way" after first split exercise

The only stretch I'm feeling is in my underwear. On a serious note though: you're not supposed to pump during a stretch. Your body may be strong enough not to be injured by it, but beginners can hurt themselves.

Gonna do this once a day and see where I’m at: Day 1: I’m like 6 inches off the ground and I definitely did feel a good stretch and was a bit sore from my ab workouts yesterday and I’m starting ballet soon so I’m really hoping I get my splits! Day 2: so I did this again this morning and I (think I) see a difference. At least on my right side. I feel slightly lower to the ground but not too much on my left side. Day 3: so last night I had a dream I had my left splits all the way down and I think it’s telling me to keep going cause I’m gonna get there! I also feel closer to the ground on my right side. I’m not sure if there is even a difference but that’s just what I feel. Day 4: so I did this again this morning and I’m really happy about my results on my right side! I haven’t gotten it FULLY down but I’m about 2-3 inches away!

I’ve being doing this routine for 2 months every day and then about 6 months on and off and today I randomly tried doing it again and I can actually do a split. The first time I succeeded was about 3 months in!! It just takes practice and lots of repetition

So i'm going to tell you for like real honest.So 1st week it is very hard.but can do it.once a day.And 2st week my right leg is very hurt i don't know why i can't do the splits because it is really hurt so bad.So i stretch mpre with my left leg.And 3rd week i rest just twice a week.4th week it is full and i get it success with my left leg .I can't push it down with my my right leg because when i push it down my leg feels going to rip
