I've been learning to do a spilt for a long time, but I pulled a muscle in my leg. However, I'm still practicing the splits. It hurts a lot in my left leg, but that's my good leg to me. Idk how though. I can almostt do it with my left leg (the one that hurts) and I'm close to the ground but every time I try to go down more, it hurts. I've watched this video for two days now (each day, I watch the video) and I'm getting closer and closer. Hopefully I'll get it by Christmas. Btw it's 12/12/18

this is for babies i was in a Beginner class in gymnastics and we had much more challenging stretches and your splits are bad because there shoulden't be a inch of you leg on the floor i should know i'm a advance gymnast and has both leg splits and middle splits and my legs are touching the floor all of it and i've only did gymnastics for a few months and you did it for a few years and your splits aren't the best please no hate i'm just being honest.

Wow. This really helped! I can already do the splits on my left leg which is my best leg. This helped my right leg a lot! I am definitely doing this ever day so I can do the splits! Just one thing, what about middle splits? Is it the same exercises?

I'm going to do this every day for one month and I'm going to report on my progress HERE. I'm VERY unflexible so let's see how this goes! Day 1: Everything hurts. I'm very far away from the ground, way further than Corinna (the girl on the right) is when she is doing the splits. Update: I did it a second time in the evening, my legs are shaking.

Day 12: morning workout was kinda rushed and bad. Took more time for the workout in the evening which was a good decision. I feel like the flexibility of my hemstrings has really improved but not the flexibility of the muscles in my thighs (which are really needed to do the splits)

Day 11: really disliked both workouts today. Felt almost as unflexible as in the beginning. Not happy with my progress.

Day 10: okay so here's a mini rant: While I can definitely notice that I'm more flexible overall, I don't notice a lot of difference when it comes to being closer to the ground. The foreleg is, when attempting the splits, more flexible as it doesn't bend but still...this is gonna take A LOT more time. I don't think 1 month is enough timr to get your splits, maybe 2 or 3 months. Will continue to update you

Day 9: morning practise was "meh" as usual haha. Loved the evening one though. I can now rest my head on my legs while I'm doing the first couple exercises! Yay!

I don’t think that these stretches are for beginners because when I tried this I pulled a muscle and lost half of my flexibility now my hips and stomach hurts when I stretch.

I am a competing runner, so I thought my legs were strong and flexible(spoiler alert:No)I want to get better and possibly do a beginner’s class in dancing if it is not too expensive. I also have a messed up knee which has stopped from running for long distances (3 miles, etc) so I am looking into another sport to help me. Wish me luck! I will update, my goal is to be able to do split, other tricks, the maybe a back flip

I know this video is old, but when you stretch down with your legs extended, pushing your chest towards the ground instead of your head allows for a better stretch. Just a tip.

U guys are dumb this is actually is a good workout stretch u guys are just saying "this is not a beginner stretch!" It is dosent mean if it hurts it's not a beginner stretch its stretching ur muscles that's why it hurts so u can become flexible u guys are so dumb!

Ok this will work if I do this like 4 days...i hope....🙂 Day 1: So before this I was like maybe 9 or 10 inches off the ground and now I am like 7 or 8 inches off, and it was painful but starting tomorrow I will do this in the morning, after school, and before bed 😁 Day 2: ok now I am only 6 inches off, so looks like everyone I do this i will get 1 or 2 inches closer to the splits 😁 Night...OH!! and I changed it I am only doing it before bed 😂💜
