@LissaKay PS: FYI: All grains grow above the ground. Your argument is further invalidated.

@LissaKay Lastly, why do you think that athletes carb-load on the morning of a competition? I mean, are you smarter than their trainers? What a crock of shit, your argument.

@LissaKay Without a steady source of complex carbohydrates, (ie: whole grains) the human body would cease to function. Why do you think the USDA recommends such a generous intake of whole grains? Where the hell did you get the idea that whole grains contain nothing but sugar anyway? (I have a feeling that there's going to be a whole lot of stupid in your response to that question) I am a fully trained chef and nutritionist, sweetheart, your poorly constructed argument is invalid.

@LissaKay In converting those fats into fuel, toxins are produced and the joints lose their cushioning. Ketosis is essentially like a car running out of gasoline: The nearest available source of combustible energy is the motor oil. If the engine starts burning that, then the actual metal in the engine (your bones, in this metaphor) starts to grind itself down, and a dirty, toxic cloud is produced. Essentially, your body would poison itself while grinding its joints to a bloody pulp.

@LissaKay The human body is also very lazy, it doesn't want to go far for fuel: If you're doing high-intensity work, say with your arms and legs, then it will synthesize fats into useful carbohydrates using that fat first. In this instance, that fat can be found between the joints, where fat is deposited to be used to cushion the joints and keep the bones from grinding against one another. So even if the body goes into Ketosis, it is using that crucial joint fat first.

@LissaKay Are you shitting me?! Whole grains have an incredible amount of complex carbohydrates, which the body uses for fuel. There are NO sugars to be found in these whole grains. Since you have obviously been deprived of any education regarding the human body, here's a little crash course: The human body's primary fuel source is complex carbohydrates. When deprived of its primary fuel source, the body must synthesize fuel from something else.

@LissaKay No offense sweetheart, but you're just flat wrong. Animal fats are just as unhealthy as hydrolized fats. A high level of saturated fat can cause a plethora of cardivascular disease. You can look it up at the United States Department of Agriculture, they will confirm: Fats should be severely limited wholly. These YouTube videos and personalities to which you so desperately cling are nothing more than well-dressed con-jobs.

@LissaKay You might lose weight by forcing your body to connibalize itself. You could also lose weight by lobbing off your buttocks. That doesn't make it healthy, now does it?

@LissaKay Now, if you use mono- or poly-unsaturated fats, like Extra Virgin or Grapeseed oils, that's another story. The human nervous system is comprised almost entirely of these long-chain-polyunsaturated fats, and needs them in order to function. Even still, they must be restricted to a bare minimum, while saturated fats (yes, even the "natural" ones) must be eliminated to the best of one's ability.

@LissaKay Are you fucked in the head? Whole grains are one of the healthiest things one could possibly eat. There's a reason why Atkins was exposed as a load of quackery: It forces the body to cannibalize itself, and it produces a dangerous toxin in so doing. Double trouble, I'd say. Natural fats and oils are just as unhealthy as synthesized ones: Saturated fat, which serves no other purpose than to clog arteries, is found naturally in animal meat. It is in no way healthy and necessary.

My breakfast is: - tbsp honey (upon waking) Half hour later, (most likely after morning shower): - 6 eggs, 3 of them which are omega-3 eggs, the rest are egg whites (microwaved) - A cup of orange juice and skimmed milk mixure (half of each) - 1 cup of oatmeal with frozen blueberries (microwaved oats with water) - 3 EFAs caps & Multivitamin This sounds a lot lol.
