Graduate Student Samantha Beasley shares how she came to be a part of the Spitale Lab and what research she is currently working on.
About the Spitale Lab:
The Spitale Lab focuses on enhancing the current understanding of the RNA world, from both a chemical and a biological standpoint. It has been shown that RNA has functions, as well as structures, beyond the mRNA, rRNA, and tRNA that are responsible for making proteins. The Spitale Lab focuses on advancing the field of RNA research by providing more chemical tools and biological methods for studying this dynamic molecule.

Community pharmacists are the health professionals most accessible to the public. They supply medicines in accordance with a prescription or, when legally permitted, sell them without a prescription. In addition to ensuring an accurate supply of appropriate products, their professional activities also cover counselling of patients at the time of dispensing of prescription and non-prescription drugs, drug information to health professionals, patients and the general public, and participation in health-promotion programmes. They maintain links with other health professionals in primary health care.
