Recreational eating . Cake diet. Some of us do not know what hunger is .
I feel good with this plan, loss 30 lbs real fat weight in 3months . People like it but when you tell them what you do ,all I hear is I will join and never did. Thanks for the information and be careful out there . America make money from those medication so when people preach against it ,they don't like it.
actually I've been a ketogenic dieter /carnivor for almost 6 months. I'm not gonna lie it changed my life in so many ways , lost plenty of weight fixed a lot of my binge eating problems you can't do that with a high fat diet. and I left sugar and most of the fruits for along time and I can control my hunger in a sense I know when i'm hungry and I know when I'm not. anyway, the shocking thing is that I started a vegan diet yesterday :) , it's still hard to eat alot of fruits and carbs my brain still refuses the change but I believe that with a good vegan /vegetarian diet and treat with meat every month is pretty damn good. my whole family still eats meat and dairy but I'm not forcing anyone to follow me. anyway, let's hope I do good on it. I really miss being healthy and feeling good in a long time now.
It’s so depressing that the bad food taste good and the good foods r bland r horrible. Why r humans punished like this. Just think how healthy we would be if the good healthy foods tasted like the bad food. But I must make the choice to live longer and be healthy without the enjoyment of good tasting food
Worship the golden cow!! Remember what happened? God created animals and the earth for us to take domain over. Yes, we have a creator. Who made the iPhone? Man did and yes Man is way more complex than the iPhone. So my point is God created man. Wow, that is deep. Praise be to God and he said to be more concerned what comes out the mouth than what goes in it.
This came at the right time when I was waiting on a sign which dietary lifestyle I should follow for good. I have been on the McDougall diet, the Paddison Prgormamm for rheumatoid arthitis and on all raw vegan diets. I lost 88 pounds on a almost all raw food diet, then included more starches again and gained back 20 pounds over the last year. My rheumatoid arthritis got better, but never went away all the way. There is still inflammation going on. I am currently on 5mg of Prednison. I have started doing sports in 2015 and went to my local dojo. I started Aikido. I went went on, even when I was in a lot of pain sometimes. I knew, I could do it somehow and that there was a way for me to get well all the way. Now that I have found you and the nutrition diet and the aphorisms you used wth the belt colours, I knew I have gotten my sign. I just made my orange belt in July. Now I know, that I can go all the way and also get well too. Thank you so much.
I believe sad diet made me sick. Is there good American diet that will unsick me? I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes,high bp, high cholesterol,osteoporosis,etc. ,and was prescribed 2 diabetic drugs,bp pills, alendronate,iron pill,cholesterol pills. I suffer probably side effects of any of the pills I am taking like nosebleeding,unsteadiness, headaches, shakiness, etc. My doctor told me to take over the counter drug to relieve my stomach problems. I am tired of taking drugs that made me feel sicker. Any alternative solution I can do to stop my problems(diseases' issues? Thanks for any recommendations.
The SAD is doing exactly what it's supposed to be doing. Limit our lifespan so we don't bankrupt social security. If you want to live to be a healthy 90 years old don't eat processed foods, meat, oil, or sugar.
If you cook and cool white rice and white potatoes you will drastically increase their resistant starch. Plus white potatoes small white potatoes where there's a high skin two flesh ratio have a much lower glycemic load than these humongous potatoes grown for McDonalds. Potatoes are also loaded with vitamins and minerals. And I hope he's being facetious about the gas associated with beans. When I started eating this way I was absolutely stinking miserable for the first week because I was so bloated I look 9 months pregnant trust me there is nothing a fun or attractive or wonderful about eating foods with tons of fiber that your gut biome isn't ready to handle
some very basic scientific errors here... a)glycemic index of an individual food is irrelevant if that food is eaten in combination with fats and protein. b)fats are not immediately stored as body fat. depending on the caloric intake, only excess fat is converted to body fat. I agree with the key principle of controlling insulin, but I am surprised an MD has made such fundamental errors. If what he says is right mediterrenean countries, that base their diets on grains and olive oil, should have the highest diabetes, heart death and cancer rates. Which we all know is not true. Same with Japan, high rice consumption is also complemented with figh-fat fish consuption. Fuhrman promotes some good basic principles, but he is another book salesman trying to make a buck...
What about protein supplements? Being in the fitness scene, we consume lots and lots of whey, whey isolate, caseine, creatine, fish oil, etc.
I already meal prepped for the next day (following IF), but the day after, I’m changing my diet! Already bought me some green beans 😋🙌
not sure if this is misinformation or propaganda, but this video is very wrong, animal products contain many things like b vitamins and essential fatty acids and omega 3s, some people definitely eat to much but it is not healthy to cut it out completely.

Dear Dr. Fuhrman, I am so very very grateful to you .
Last year I 'stumbled over ' the Film "What The Health" and seeing-and-feeling the suffering of the animals I felt ashamed about my decade-long l a c k of consistency and compassion [[ when I ( very moderately) ate from the bodies of grass-fed chicken and sausages from time to time ]] . I decided to s t o p eating fellow creatures, and drink milk no further, no cheese.... I have been following this since then. I am so t h a n k f u l to you and your colleagues. I have been spending a vast amount of free time watching YouTube videos......!!! I am spreading the 'news' . I have bought books ( in German, as my family and I are Germans) and 'dig' deeper and deeper ... while listening to you, as well as to Drs. Neal Barnard, Dean Ornish, Michael Greger, John McDougall, Milton Mills, Prof.Messina. Last weekend there was a conference in Berlin (at the famous Charité) with scientific presentations by leading researchers and renowned medical practitioners , a platform for networking.... This year M.Greger took part again. ( I am so glad that there are over 20 vegan/ vegetarian restaurants in Berlin now.)

The best Doctor, the best information on food and hunger I've ever heard anyone talk about. I've never been overweight. And only ate when I was hungry. Plus, I've only ever liked fruits and vegetables. what I didn't know was the amount of chemicals sprayed on food. And what Cows eat, (or any other meat.) Another thing I've been made to feel guilty, "because your not eating enough." Thank You so much, for been part of life. sharing "living food, healthy food. As for medication. the FDA, Drug and chemical Companies. along with fast food companies. (Multinationals,) have a lot to answer for.
Whatever I read or listen to about nutrition, I compare it to Dr Fuhrman's information as the 'gold standard,' and if it doesn't jibe with what Dr Fuhrman says - I don't buy it. I've just read Dr Fung's book (The Obesity Code) and I think he's on the right track, but his advice about eating dairy, olive oil, pork belly, etc. just rings wrong, wrong, wrong.
It’s just simply not logical to eat cooked food. No other animal in nature eats cooked food, obviously. We aren’t special. We are apes. Primates. Biologically, anatomically and physiologically frugivores who thrive primarily on fresh fruits and fruit-like-vegetables.

Food and nutrition would be based upon personal preference and if studies indicate that eating living animals are detrimental to health the information would be there for all people. Through time and education and the manufacturing of synthetic proteins we could do away with killing fish and animals. Indeed, it is already possible to have a solely plant-based diet that meets all nutritional needs. We can not outlaw what people eat but we can outgrow the need for eating animal protein. During the transition to a better diet for those who need it we could also develop foods that taste and feel just like the ones they like eating but are healthier for people. We are also against experimenting on animals or people.
Truth be told, no one really know what is healthy, but everyone know some things have unhealthy part to them.
Just put any 3 "healthy eating" videos and you realize :
Video A say things bad about promoted food in Video B and C
Video B say things bad about promoted food in Video A and C
Video C say things bad about promoted food in Video A and B
You end up with 3 videos that do themselves the work of the bad food industry at discrediting each others...
In confusion, ppl will go for taste.
In the end, the first step is to take proper amount of nutrition.

have dinner a 6pm and go to bed hungry when you wake up have an orange or grapefruit decaf coffee lunch a nice bowl of pasta e Fagioli my dad lived to 88 mom 93 she was the oldest of 11 children she was 93 and the others 7 lived 98 to 106? the 3 boys into their 80des. my dads family 17 lived into their 80s and 90s Italian descent.
