The Black Hole Bomb and Black Hole Civilizations
Actually, it's not just black holes that drag space with them when they spin. Similar to how light can be pulled on by gravity, this happens at all scales, but it's only really noticeable at the scale of a black hole. This effect has even been tested in earth's gravitational field.
One problem I have with this theory is that, you have to be moving faster than light speed to go in the opposite direction that the ergosphere is rotating so, since electromagnetic waves cant travel faster than light speed, wouldnt one wrong bounce of a mirror causing the photons to be going the opposite direction of the black holes rotation just turn the photons around and potentially consume a very large amount, if not all of the photons? Making this not as efficient as it looks in this video? Feel free to comment on if I’m understanding something wrong.
Even when everything in the universe turn its back on life, dimming the light of the hope towards the true dark... We shall have the responsability to keep the dim flame of life from banishing, by using the same darkness that the universe is trying to use in order to end us.
wouldn't it be easier to turn the mirror-shell into a death-ray instead of a bomb by opening a small opening in the correct direction immediately before a explosion occurs and fry our enemies with hard x-rays?
I’ve watched this video so many times, mostly for the part about black hole civilizations. It’s amazing to think that we could power an entire galactic civilization using a black hole. I also love yall’s rendition of a black hole civilization, a Halo-style ring world orbiting a black hole. I wish I could travel to the future to see something like this... Humanity has come far from our beginnings, but we still have so much further to go.
Imagine if the universe went dark and all the black holes combined into one giant hypermassive black hole and some aliens surrounded it and used the bomb strategy for light and energy but one of them fucked up and made the big bang happen?
'they are not science fiction'
*something is found that makes it not possible/work differently'*
'oh okay time to change it.'
That happens fairly often in the large scheme of things, though this was a very interesting video!
Well if you want to boost the rocket away from the ringularity, you'd probably ending up using _way_ more energy than you get because of the force of attraction towards the center of the black hole, right?
Humans: Those weird hairless things which have figured out how to genetically code themselves to live forever, could possibly create a technological singularity and know how to live longer than the universe itself but still hasn't figured out how to stop obesity or that that fortnight is a bad game.
Could it be that the OMG particle was part of a mass that passed into the ergosphere of a black hole before being shot in our direction at that insane speed? Also, in the distant future maybe our descendents will create the mirror and cover the outside with "light bulbs" or any equivalent technological means to produce light within a desirable spectrum, making a perfect long lasting replacant Sun (assuming we would need one then).
Community pharmacists are the health professionals most accessible to the public. They supply medicines in accordance with a prescription or, when legally permitted, sell them without a prescription. In addition to ensuring an accurate supply of appropriate products, their professional activities also cover counselling of patients at the time of dispensing of prescription and non-prescription drugs, drug information to health professionals, patients and the general public, and participation in health-promotion programmes. They maintain links with other health professionals in primary health care.
