Eventide - Rain Check
Here's what I'm currently doing in case it helps.
I have dry sensitive acne prone skin and I'm 18 years old
Sounds complicated I know but turns out this is a thing I wasn't born with the best genetics when it came to skin.
I am african American as well (I really don't know if that matters but I heard that hyperpigmentation is worse for people with more melanin in their skin I really don't know)
All the vitamins I take: Complete multivitamin (whatever brand is available at the time), Biotin 1000 MG, Bamboo Extract 900mg, Zinc 50mg, Vitamin A 10,000IU, Gelatin 600mg. Collagen Peptides powder. Fish oil 1000 or 1200mg (depends which one I buy at the time) (Most of this stuff I take is for hair growth)
I also do my best to keep my diet very rich in fruits/veggies and proteins. Even with a good diet I didn't get clear skin off the bat. People would say don't consume dairy but you don't have to have a no dairy diet to get clear skin. Or go vegan in that case I seriously think going THAT drastic is a bit harsh. But if your body sensitive to those things then you shouldn't be consuming those things anyway.
My current skin regime
1. Wash face with vibrating silicon brush (African Black soap)
2. Derma roll, in effort to clear my acne scars
3. Apply toner Apple Cider Vinegar
(I am thinking of mixing this with witch hazel but I do not know yet)
I use this to kill any lingering germs or bacteria that could be roaming around on my face
4. Vitamin C serum
(Meera's beauty has worked amazing for me in scar clearing, skin brightening and its anti aging I DID PURGE for 2 weeks)
5. Vitamin E oil 42,000IU
6. Tea Tree oil sometimes I do apply all over face
7. FRESH ALOE VERA 100% 1 thin layer ontop of my face.
8.Pomegranate seed oil (3-5 drops
9. Unrefined shea butter as eye cream
10. Jade roll (I use this room temperature to just help with blood circulation and to have my serums go deeper into my skin and it's a pretty nice face massage, this is probably NOT gonna help you get clear skin I just wanted to be extra and have one)
At this point I think I face mask everyday but as my life gets busier I probably won't be able to do that anymore.
But I use Glacial Clay (Dr. Pore tightening WORKS WONDERS ON MY ACNE PRONE AREA OMG THIS HELPED THAT SPOT SO MUCH)
Pink Clay (Dr pore tightening, I use this mask when my skin just isn't feeling the harshness of the glacial clay)
Homemade activated charcoal mask (Not the glue and charcoal tab please do not put glue on your face)
Green tea/Aloe vera/Honey Mask
(I slice up the bag pour the leaves in and my fresh gel and fresh honey mix those together and put it on my face probably 3-5 times a week)
-I drink Green tea everyday as well as chamomile tea everyday.
But this stuff has anti aging benefits for all I do and is very safe and pretty much all natural you can Google all the facts and benefits of each item I use food for thought.
Everything I do now has benefited my skin amazingly. It's the clearest it's ever been and has taken months to 100% get that way.
I am going to get microneedling treatment to get rid of my indented scars. Cost wise for all this stuff? Errrrr I don't know. But kinda pricey for a few.
But please remember for acne you gotta heal what's inside the body it's not JUST ABOUT THE PRODUCT. I went pretty natural and DIY like simply because using that one active ingredient that the company is advertising in that product, most of the time you are better off using that ONE ingredient in its purest form to reap the full benefits. And I experienced way too many allergic reactions to a MASS OF PRODUCTS even when they were advertised for sensitive or acne prone skin.
I don't know about the sunscreen part but I have learned that some of the stuff I use has a natural SPF in them. But I am thinking of incorporating an actual sunscreen but because of my sensitive behind skin reacting terrible to everything I try I really don't know.
I use coconut oil and makeup wipes to take off my makeup when I do choose to wear it.
Doing this stuff has gave me that glass skin look that is pretty hard to achieve. Keep in mind the glass skin look is also achieved by make up
I love your skincare videos. I had acne from my 13 until my 17 years old very strong and still some until my 25. It suddenly stopped when I was around 26, now I only have some small hormonal acne but I still have hyperpigmentation from the years I had acne (not too aggressive but they are still there) I am now trying the ordinary hyperpigmentation regimen. And oh yeah, their niacinamide is amazing, I've never seen anything controling my sebum that much
Such useful ! I actually have some little brown marks on my skins especially on the side. I don’t have acne and my skin feels super sensitive if I use vitamin c serum. Among those products which one would you recommend ? Thanks ! :)
Yadah's Oh My Sun Slush is supposed to be good for this, sadly it was sold out when I tried to buy it but I got the similar Yadah Oh My Sun Block and I've found it doesn't make me oily, though after a couple of hours it's starts to become a problem, though I normally just put on a light layer of powder which really helps
halo liah! i am really glad to find this video and yes this information really helps me a lot to deal with post inflammatory. the thing that i want to ask is the using of aha. it is used for 2-3 a week, so it is once a day when we apply on our face?? i need your help, thank you!
Things for acne scars that specify that they're "brightening" always scare me. Brightening almost always means whitening. My skin is such a terrible color from years of using "brightening" serums etc. So I'm scared to use the vitamin b3 :( especially since you said it's a melanin suppressant and I have darker skin (but my face is sooo pale from all of my products)
Hi Liah! Very informative video you have here. I’m currently using rosehip oil as a night moisturizer to get rid of the spots. Can I use a vitamin c serum with it? It will be great to hear back from you.
You'll be able to get rid of acne permanently, get back your clear skin without drugs, lotions; without worrying about scar problems and side effects. No matter what type of acne you've - with very easy way in which you will never think of, all in a natural way at *AcneCureOnline. Com*
hi everyone ,if anyone else wants to uncover body whitening try Vaxicorn Natural Skin Guide (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my work buddy got great success with it.
You don't have acne aftermath! I think its funny how these girls think they have acne! I have acne scars deep pits in my skin for years not surface scars!LOL These girls would kill themselves if they had real acne scars
These videos are good to let me know what product to use but I always feel less confident about the order and frequency with which I should use them.
Does the vitamin C go under the oil? Over the oil? Every other day switching with the oil? How much do I use since the product packaging isn't very clear?
Can you please make a video of an hyperpigmentation routine with just one type of product for serum, moisturizer, ecc? It's difficult to choose which way is better and the risk I think is to put to much on the face. Help me please!
i'm so obsessed with your video. but i really need your help. I'm doing what you've told but idk it's work or not :( i lived in a tropical country, Indonesia, my typical skin are acne prone, dullness dan acne scars. how to get rid of thatt?:( i'm really so desperate :(
