This video gives me so much hope I've been trying to get rid of my dark spots with dark spot contractors for months and haven't seen any results and was horrified there was no hope. Thank you so much:)
I get acne once in a while. But those scars accumulate and never fade away 😭.. They stay there for months n years.. Clear skin is like a dream..
I never use chemicals on my face just use tea tree oil for acne n it works well.. I don't really care about my skin.. Recently I started observing my acne scars.. And following natural home remedies. Does home remedies work instead of these chemicals??
I really love watching your videos and it helped me with finding the right products. Right now I am still in my search for the perfect moisturizer for my skin type. I have this weird skim which is dry but when I try to moosturize, it feels like my face doesnt like it and it gives me bumps will trapped oils inside. clogged pores!!! Do you think I can use the hyaluronic 2% + B5 from the Ordinary as my moisturizer or do I use it as my serum and get another moisturizer to apply on top of this. please help meee! 🙏
Thank you so much for this! I am 32 and after suffering with acne for 17 years, I have finally gotten a great skin care routine down that has kept my skin pretty clear! Problem is, now o have some scaring and redness from years of acne. Can’t wait to try this!
lovely. but what about aloe vera? honestly, i tried many many things, but aloe vera has definitely helped with hyperpigmentation on me! just make sure you don't buy the gel from your drugstore, buy a real plant! make sure, that you aren't allergic to it. if the plant gets big enough, cut a tiny bit off from a leave and cut this piece off in half. massage the gel into your already washed skin! after a few minutes, just grab a tissue and get off the excess aloe vera. go to sleep! next day, wash your face. but DO make sure you are not allergic to it!! i didn't follow this step and just used it, i was lucky that my sensitive skin had no irritation whatsoever, it only improved! (keep in mind, i am no doctor and i only recently started using it. i also don't think you should do this everyday, but i just figured it with my own mind. ask a doctor, who actually knows about this stuff!!! 🤗)
Hi Liah Yoo! I am really starting to lose hope and about to have a breakdown. My cheeks are filled with post inflammatory erythema from over exfoliation, using lemon mask on my face everyday last summer which damaged my moisture barrier. My new routine involves vitamin c and vitamin e to help my red acne scars however I feel like it’s not working at all and it’s getting worse. I’ve been using it for about nearly 2 months now. The products I use are, AM - cosrx low ph cleanser, aloe propolis soothing gel. PM - cosrx low ph cleanser, triple c lightning, klairs vitamin e mask.
Christine Brown I’ve been using the cleanser too and it’s been great! The only other ones I know with a low ph and no actives are the Vanicream gentle facial cleanser for sensitive skin, Glossier milky jelly cleanser and Kravebeauty matcha hemp hydrating cleanser.
I’ve only tried the first two. Vanicream’s is super basic, not particularly moisturizing but gets the job done. Glossier’s is wonderful but pricier. And I’ve yet to try Kravebeauty’s, but I hear it’s phenomenal.
Mary Katie Hi! Thank you for your suggestion. I had no idea that the cosrx low ph had BHA in it. I’m kinda upset because this cleanser is super good in getting rid of most of my acne quick however my priority is to get rid of my scars. Can you please suggest me any cleansers you know that are as good as cosrx low ph without BHA or any other actives that can’t be paired with vitamin c & e
@christine brown If you aren’t already, using a sunscreen might help your skin cope with other environmental stressers during the day. I use one with dimethicone (a silicone/occlusive) that helps keep my skin from drying out too much in colder weather
@christine brown hi! I’m by no means an expert. But I’ve heard Liah encouraging people to only use one active ingredient in their daily routine at a time. It looks like you have a few going on (salicylic acid (BHA) in the cleanser, ascorbic acid (Vit C) in the triple c lightning). Have you considered paring down your routine again to build up your skin barrier?
I think u guys cant use Vitamin C and Niacinamide in the same routine because if these two is combined it well develop into Niacin and niacin on the other hand causes breakouts, inflammation and Redness it act as a Double edged sword that can worsen your skin condition☺ correct me if im wrong i dont mind
Retional is great! I was prescribed Retin a 0.05 percent and the first 1-1.5 month you’re skin will be tomato red at application, and but go away after maybe 30 mins but you become hypersensitive( you’ll get red in the face in the sun - so you need hats and sunscreen), you’ll flake. But the results are within 2-3 months and clear beautiful skin!!!
I’ve used sunscreen a few month ago for over a year. I was keep breaking out. Any sunscreen I was using caused my break out. Once I stoped using them my skin started getting better. But I still have acne scars😩😩I don’t know what kind of sunscreen to use. I used a chemical and physical one. None of them are good for me
So all the products you showed I have to have? And is it like what I have to put everyday or with my cleanser because I also don’t know what cleaning soap suits me Because I have this kind of skin like yours in the beginning but a little bit more on my skin and it doesn’t go away when I wash it and it irritates as well but idkdmdkdjsjsksjsj
I used to have good skin but had few pimples and my dad told me he got rid of his from retinol in his puberty years. I thought I'd get rid of it too so I tried it out. My skin got way way wayyyyy worse. I had breakouts all over and I read somewhere that in first few months it will cause breakouts but then it would heal up. I waited and did it for 6 months and my skin was just getting towards worst. Quited it.
I have break out every times when i got or after i got menstruation. N they leave the scar on it. So i wanna try to use these product. But i wonder how to put that product on. Which one product should aplly fist n how to aplly it? Just in the acne scar or in all over the face. Or just aplly it once a weak? Can someone explain to me pls?? Step by step 😁
Ok, guys. I just ordered The ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zync and The ordinary Magnesium and will pe using them as soon as I get them. I will keep you updated on the process of anyone is interested... Anywho, my acnee looks a little like Liah's, but I do have more pimples and my skin is oily and dry at the same time... I will take Magnesium at night and the Niacinamide in the morning. Hope it all gets well... 😣 Wish me luck!!! 😳😳😳
+Christine Brown I forgot to add that I don't use makeup that much. I only use a vegan BB cream or vegan foundation when I go to work but I try really hard that in the weekend not to use any type of creams so that I let my skin breath. I do use a hydration cream before I put my BB cream on because my skin started peeling a little and it looks weird :) Can you tell me about your make up routine and how your acnee breaks?
+Christine Brown Unfortunately i stopped after 3 weeks, but my skin did improve a lot. What you have to take into account is that if you have hormonal problems than not even 3 months of this products will help you with your acnee
Guys, I havent said this but i am actually overweight too... So I think I have a lot of acnee because of chocolate and oily food so I'm also trying to eat clean and drink lots of water. I'm also going to drink green tea which detoxifies the body. :)
Just wanted to say that your videos has been a major help for me for my skin issues. I used to have severe acne and resulted in alot of acne scars. So I searched around youtube and found your videos. They are super amazing!! My family kept saying that my skin looks so much better. I started recommending these videos to my mom since she is Korean and you are one of the few with Korean subtitles and she is honestly so amazed and excited to try out the products you recommended. Thank you so much!! I look forward to all your future videos!
(She also said that your make up looks amazing haha)
