I LOVE BERNIE
The mixing of money and politics is the core cause of all the problems including the impetus to invade privacy. Who benefits in the unethical mixing of money and politics? The rich owning class who employ workers and then employ politicians which corrupts the democratic process and themselves(becoming corrupt from Aristocracy to Oligarchy). The previous a definition of the 'Dictatorship of the Bourgeoisie' destroying the remainder of democracy. The only solution is Marxist-Leninism which will usher in the proper Socialism needed to eliminate pollution through centralization and eliminate the corruption of democracy.

Bernie, you're a better man than most. I think most would get tired of the corruption and American stupidity. And just join in and take money from the plutocrats.

We are sick and tired Of being promised this and that. We work all day, we sweat and slave To keep the wealthy fat. They fill our heads with promises And bamboozle us with facts, Then they put on false sincerity Then they laugh behind our backs. [Chorus:] Money and Corruption Are ruining the land Crooked politicians Betray the working man, Pocketing the profits And treating us like sheep, And we're tired of hearing promises That we know they'll never keep. Bernie loves that new summer house he got after kissing the ring of the DNC. He knew they rigged the primaries against him and he still praised them. That's weak leadership. One would even say... Cuck.
: Jak : (5 дней назад)
Then he claims he wants wealth redistribution... 3 houses, Will he redistribute those extra 2 to less fortunate? He offered people free shit, and of course dems love free shit. While Hillary just talked about being a woman. Free shit vs ego. That's an easy victory, that he lost. Wikileaks released the emails showing that the DNC rigged the elections against Bernie, its the reason Debbie Wasserman Schultz resigned as DNC Chairman. It's even talked about on the 3rd paragraph of Debbies wikipedia page.

Jak. RE: Bernie's support of Hillary. In the Dem primary Bernie fought like a pit bull, starting with 3% support and virtually no name recognition, faced a media Sanders blackout, continual smears with the incorrect "socialist" label, and a corrupt DNC. In spite of all that his approval was 47% and still rising when the clock ran out. When it became clear that Bernie could not win the primary he did what he promised to do. He put country before ego and supported Hillary over Trump, ie: he supported the lesser of 2 evils. Hillary’s policies on student aid, immigration reform, criminal justice reform, minimum wage, tax policy, and environmental action on climate change were somewhat close to Bernie's (thanks largely to Bernie’s pressure). And why else would Bernie endorse Hillary...hmmm...oh yeah, because the only other option was a lying narcissistic pervert con man with small hands that smell like stale pussy, surrounded by right wing extremists who want to cut environmental protections, cut Medicaid, cut Medicare, cut consumer protections, and give still more tax cuts to billionaires. Now Hillary is a corpse, and Bernie is still fighting for the middle class and the vulnerable, standing up to Wall Street, the insurance industry, big Pharma, the economic elite, and the political establishment, and fighting to change the Dem party to a true progressive grass roots party that doesn’t even accept Wall Street or corporate donations. He is now the most popular politician in America. The majority of American's agree with every one of his policies, and they are the policies that America, especially the middle class, desperately need. Bernie fought for you and me for more than 30 years and at age 78 is still fighting for us.
Al Clark (5 дней назад)
Jak. Bernie Sanders bought his first modest house decades ago, put a down payment on it, paying off the mortgage over the years, then put a down payment on another home. Last year Bernie and his wife bought a house with the proceeds from the sale of his wife's ancestral property. You would already know that If you ever got your information from anywhere other than Fox News and right wing blogs, right wing talk radio, and other trolls like yourself.

The easiest solution is to not let personal data be sold. If one chooses to let their information be sold then they get 60% of the money generated from that information.
Margaret Womacque (7 дней назад)
This guy could have been your candidate, but the DNC made sure Hillary won nomination and he just laid down with the rest of the trash and accepted another house for his trouble. You can not be OK with this outcome. He never would have won, but all the same! Need to start looking at real Communism not socialism which only sort of works in small countries and even E U countries are bowing out of world order. Nothing is free -- so how much are you willing to give up to make everyone like the other? What a joke -- if this therory ever took over I, myself would not work and make what workers make because that would be fair, right?
Al Clark (5 дней назад)
Margaret Womacque. I hate that people are still trying to invalidate sanders by just shouting the incorrect "socialist" label that his opponents use to smear him, rather than actually arguing any of his policies. If you think Bernie is a socialist, that makes YOU a fool that just swallowed the incorrect label that the media, esp Fox News, use to smear Bernie and scare the gullible, and that was hammered into your gullible little mind by ceaseless repetition. They can't argue against Sanders policies, because those policies have been proven successful in other nations, and because the majority of American's agree with every one of them. So they smear him with an incorrect "socialist" label, claim that he's against capitalism, then proceed to argue against socialism and for capitalism. NO ONE, Sanders and his supporters included, are either for socialism or against capitalism. Wiki: “The US Senator Bernie Sanders from Vermont described himself as a “democratic socialist” [not socialist] but his political positions and admiration for Nordic capitalism correspond with that of a “social democrat.” Socialism is against capitalism. Social democracy, by contrast, completely supports capitalism. it's simply capitalism as the economic engine, and government that serves society and the middle class instead of serving the wealthy elite corporate and billionaire campaign donors. It just takes the "Crony" out of "Crony Capitalism". It's true Republic democracy instead of the corporate and economic elite Oligarchy that the US has now. Socialism is also the government ownership of the means of production. All of Bernie’s policies have been on line for more than 3 years, the majority of Americans agree with every one of them, and not one of them involves government ownership of the means of production: - overturning Citizens United and reforming the corrupt campaign finance system - Universal single payer health care - making public colleges tuition free, and paying for it by a small stock transfer tax on Wall Street speculation. - closing the loopholes, like offshore tax havens and “carried interest” that allow corporations and billionaires evade tax and pay a lower effective tax rate than the ordinary middle class worker has to pay. (Trump denounced those loopholes and promised to eliminate them, but of course he didn’t’.) - stopping the practice of throwing multi-billion dollar appropriations at the military industrial complex with no audits. - raising the top marginal tax rate to 52% on that portion of income over $10M - no tax increases on anyone making $250K net inc or less, except for an income adjusted 2.2% tax to support single payer, but under single payer if you are in the middle or lower class you will save far more than that by not having to pay health insurance premiums, co-payments, or deductibles. - Reforming the justice system, and moving away from private “for profit” prisons, so that the US doesn't continue to have the highest incarceration rate and the highest per capita incarcerated population in the world - Ending the taxpayer funded subsidies to profitable corporations, like the sugar, corn, and oil and gas industries. - renegotiating the free trade agreements and bringing jobs back from overseas - raising the minimum wage from $7.25 to $15 over the next few years - infrastructure/jobs program (similar to what FDR did) - allowing students to refinance their student loan debt to take advantage of lower interest rates (the same way homeowners can refinance their mortgages). - getting the government out of the business of making profits off student loans - ending “gerrymandering", the practice whereby incumbents carve up voting districts to guarantee their reelection. - closing the person-to-person and gun show sale loopholes in background checks, and banning sale of assault style rifles (like the AR-15, the weapon of choice for mass murderers) and banning the sale of high capacity clips. - letting home owners use their 401K's to pay down their mortgages - legislation to allow the Secretary of Treasury to break up the banks and financial institutions that are "too big to fail", and re-implementing the Glass-Steagall provisions that separated investment and deposit banking, so that banks can't do high risk gambling with your deposits - appointing Supreme Court justices that will overturn Citizens United, as a major step in ending the corrupt campaign financing system - strengthening Social Security and increasing benefits by lifting the high income cap on contributions

fj horn. The Trump/GOP tax bill: The Trump/GOP tax bill gave small temporary tax cuts to the middle class (according to the CBO the bill will raise their taxes over 10 years), huge permanent tax cuts to corporations and billionaires (83% of the benefits go to corporations and to billionaires like Trump), and will add $1.4T to the national debt. Now they will use the debt as an excuse to increase other more hidden and regressive forms of taxation, and to cut services like education, research, health care, and all programs that provide help or opportunity to the middle and lower class. EG: Months after ramming through their deficit exploding tax cuts for billionaires and large corporations, Trump and the GOP are now looking for programs to slash to make up the difference, and they are starting with children’s health care. According to a WP report, “Trump is sending a plan to congress that calls for stripping more than $15B in previously approved spending, $7B of which would come from the broadly popular Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).” Government at all levels will also try to make up for the loss in tax revenues from corporations and the billionaire class by increasing other forms of more hidden and regressive forms of taxation, like commodity taxes, State and local taxes etc etc etc. Example: Less fed revenue = lower transfer payments to states & municipalities for things like infrastructure = increases in your property taxes, utility rates, and commodity taxes. The GOP rely on people like you being unable to see the big picture. It's the reason you keep voting against your own best interests. Remember Trump repeatedly claiming "this bill will hurt me"? It was just another Trump lie. The tax bill massively enriched Trump and his family and his billionaire friends. As a great example, watch "Fox Anchor STUNNED When She Suddenly Realizes The GOP Lies For Greed” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNYqtj5xGWs&lc=z23kulapcqratzjn0acdp431nki1cuwhwerupbtb55tw03c010c.1514501587453109 And if you want some laughs, read the comments on that video. No one is against tax cuts for the middle class. But they have to borrow money for those tax cuts, and it's corrupt and fiscally irresponsible to borrow money to give tax cuts that overwhelmingly go to corporations and billionaires, especially when you consider that: - the US already has the most extreme wealth inequality of any advanced nation - the top 1% continue to hold an ever greater share of the nations total income and wealth - US corporations were already making near record profits and sitting on over $1.2T in surplus cash. - While some corporations may, for PR purposes, use some of the tax cuts to give one-time bonuses to employees, the vast majority of the tax cuts will be used in buy-outs to increase market share, CEO bonuses and dividends, and stock buy backs to increase stock prices (because CEO salaries and bonuses are based largely on share/stock price.) it's one reason for the stock market surge - the corporate share of total revenues was already at it's lowest point since WW11 - the average effective corporate tax rate was only 14.5% - 26 of the largest most profitable corporations already paid little or no tax in any given year - none of the corporate loopholes, like offshore tax havens and the "carried interest" loopholes that Trump promised to eliminate were eliminated The Trump/GOP tax bill is fiscally irresponsible, blowing a huge hole in the deficit that will starve public investment and effectively transfer government resources from the poor to the rich.
Al Clark (2 дня назад)
fj horn. RE: corporate tax cuts, this is vitally important so pay attention: Corporations did NOT use the extra profits from previous tax cuts to invest in factories, jobs, or higher wages. If having more money would cause corporations to invest in factories & jobs, they would be doing it already, because corporations are making near record profits and sitting on over $1.2T in surplus cash. History of past corporate tax cuts show that they use the extra cash to give higher CEO bonuses, higher dividends (and the majority of stocks are owned by the rich), buyouts to increase market concentration, and stock buy backs to increase share prices(CEO salaries and bonuses are largely based on share prices.) Example, Apple just announced a $100B stock buy back. And the lost revenue from still more tax cuts for corporations reduces the revenues and increases the national debt, debt that you and every other taxpayer is on the hook for.

The title makes it look like The Bernie Sanders Show is the greatest threat to our democracy. I guess if they had said fb people would not have watched as most of us would immediately dismiss that as bullshit. FB is not a threat to democracy. If people don't like what fb is doing, they are free to use a different platform as many already have. This suggestion that these platforms monopolize the internet and we are powerless to do anything about it is a load of bull. Use GAB, MINDS or any number of other social networking platforms if you want the features of fb without the censorship and invasion of privacy.

I don't think market competition is the right solution to Facebook's monopoly power. Facebook is a natural monopoly. Who wants their social networking friends scattered over multiple different platforms? A better solution might be to create a non-profit foundation to provide an alternative to Facebook. This foundation would have no other purpose than to serve its users and would not be corrupted by commercial motives and profit maximization as is Facebook.
Al Clark (7 дней назад)
Not a bad idea. But perhaps regulation to establish "rules of the road" might work as well and maintain the free market profit motivation for continual innovation.

Congressional Research Service, The US Income Distribution & Mobility: Trends & International Comparisons. Nov, 2013: “ “The U.S. has the widest rich-poor gaps of any high-income nation & it continues to grow. The widening U.S. rich-poor gap is a problem that could undermine and destabilize the U.S. economy and standard of living. quen tran. "Who cares what the rich get". YOU should. It's demand that creates jobs. When the purchasing power of the middle class is reduced because of stagnating wages, jobs sent overseas, jobs being eliminated through the use of ecnology/robotics/computerization, the death of the unions, and the majority of all new income and wealth created being siphoned off by the top 1/0 of 1%, demand suffers, the economy suffers, jobs suffer. Of an extra dollar in the hands of the rich, some is socked away in offshore tax havens to evade tax, some spent or invested overseas, and much of it is used to speculate in stocks and real estate, none of which has any great positive effect on demand, the economy, jobs. By contrast, an extra dollar in the hands of someone living paycheck to paycheck is spent entirely, immediately, and domestically, which has a far greater positive on the demand, the economy, and jobs. The rich won't invest in growing businesses or hiring workers if there is not more demand for products and services. By contrast, if you have more demand from a large and economically healthy middle class, there is no shortage of entrepreneurs, rich or not, that will start and grow businesses, and hire workers, even if they have to borrow money or sell shares to do it. The New Deal produced the only three decades in American history,(('50s, '60s and '70s), when economic security and opportunity were widely shared, unions were powerful enough to ensure corporate revenue actually trickled down to workers, minimum wage kept pace with the cost of living (almost), the no. of Americans going to college surged (thanks largely to the GI bill), taxes on the rich were really higher than taxes on the rest of us, & most Americans felt confident enough to support the taxes that built the postwar American infrastructure. Dumbass, if you want an example of Bernie's type of social democracy, it's not Venezuela, no matter how many times Fox News and right wing radio hammer "Venezuela" into your little brain, it's the Scandinavian countries, that have robust free enterprise economies, but also have higher middle class standard of living, fewer people per capita living in poverty, less corruption in government, more accessible and affordable health care and higher education, less extreme wealth inequality, more secure retirement, and score far higher in measures of citizens happiness. As Bernie says, we don't want to turn the US into Sweden, but we would be foolish not to look at policies that have been proven effective an successful in other countries and see if we can adapt them to improve our systems in the US.

We're not at the early stages of advertising on platforms it's quite sophisticated. When underhanded companies ie; Cambridge Analytica uses a quiz to entice FB users to access ALL their friends it's a marketers wet dream to have all of that information, their likes, times they will see an ad, age, location etc. People were completely unaware of how they were targeted to see all of the Mercer funded / Bannon alt right Breihtbart political slimming to provoke and sway decision making. Technology is awesome and a free and open internet is essential to free speech but an 'opt in' should be clearly defined, transparent and above board.

Jerry Anderson. You obviously don't know shit about Bernie Sanders. Here's some bio on him. Pay attention because Fox News will never provide this information to it's idiot fans. As 3 term Mayor of Burlington Bernie brought in balanced budgets without raising taxes, increased affordable housing (his affordable housing model is now used worldwide), revitalized the waterfront and downtown, championed arts, youth, and women’s programs, and the Queen City was named one of the three best cities to live in while the U.S. New and World Report named him one of the top 20 best mayors in America. Soon after being elected to Congress, Congress passed the first Sanders piece of legislation, that created the National Program of Cancer Registries, which has since been called “the cancer weapon that America needed most”. Sanders stood up to the pharmaceutical companies by being the first member of Congress to take busloads of his constituents across the border to Canada to buy lower cost prescription drugs, including a group of cancer patients who were able to buy their medications for as little as a tenth the price in the US. Soon after, Sanders led an effort to fight IBM on their plan to cut older workers pensions by as much as 50%. ’s. As a result IBM agreed to a $320M legal settlement with 130K IBM workers and retirees. As Senator he secured $12.5B to expand federally qualified Community Health Centers, which now serve 25 million Americans. He secured $1.5B to help doctors and nurses working in under-served communities repay their student loans. He worked across the isle with Republican Ron Paul to audit the Federal Reserve, revealing how the independent agency gave $16 trillion dollars in near zero interest rate loans to big banks and businesses after the 2008 economic collapse. He doubled funding to help millions of low income American's heat their homes in winter. In 2010 he gave an 8 1/2 hour Senate speech against the extension of the Bush tax cuts, which were the key reason, along with the Iraq war, for America's ballooning budget deficit. He is a visionary that has been on the right side of history throughout his career, making the right decisions even before they were politically popular. He was fighting for civil rights in the 60's, fighting for the right to same sex marriage in the 80's. He vigorously opposed the invasion of Iraq in 2003, predicting much what would happen in that conflict. In a speech before Congress he said "Who will govern Iraq when Saddam Hussein is removed, and what role will the US plan in the ensuring civil war that could develop in that country? Will moderate governments in the region be overthrown and replaced by extremists?” He fought NAFTA. In a speech before congress he correctly predicted that “if NAFTA passes, corporate profits will soar because it will be even easier than now for American companies to flee to Mexico and hire workers for there for starvation wages.” He also fought the other free trade agreements that gutted the manufacturing sector and sent millions of jobs overseas. In 1998 Sanders cautioned that investment in commercial banks should be kept separate, and voted against repeal of parts of the Glass-Steagall Act, and he fought that deregulation of Wall Street, correctly foreseeing the problems that led to the economic crisis that arrived a decade later. As Senator and as Congressman, he has been successful in getting bi-partisan bills drafted and passed. One recent example is his collaboration with John McCain on a veteran’s benefits bill. And he has authored more successful amendments to legislation than any other senator or congressman. Bernie Sanders, sits on the following committees (or did until Trump was elected): Ranking Member, Senate Committee on the Budget.Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources. ... Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works. ... Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions. ... Senate Committee on Veterans' Affairs. Bernie has consistently fought for the middle class and the vulnerable against the big money special interests for over a quarter of a century, never changing his message based on polls. He is the only candidate that didn’t accept donations from corporations. He is the only one standing up to to Wall Street, the Pharmaceutical corporations, the insurance corporations, and the wealthy and powerful economic and political elite. Bernie is now the most popular politician in America. The majority of American's agree with every one of Bernie's policies, and they are policies that the U.S., and especially the middle class, desperately need.

UnleashTheGreen. The problems in 2001 are the problems the US is still facing: - the most extreme wealth inequality of any advanced nation, and continually getting worse - shrinking middle class - almost stagnant real wages (wages are rising far more slowly than the wealth and profits of billionaires and corporations) - declining economic mobility - higher education increasingly unaffordable - millions of students drowning in high interest student loan debt - crumbling infrastructure - near record poverty rates, and one of the highest child poverty rates of any advanced nation - highest incarceration rate in the world (3% of the worlds pop, and 25% of the worlds incarcerated pop.) - tens of millions without health care coverage, and tens of millions more under insured - health care costs a leading cause of personal bankruptcy - the rich paying a lower effective rate of tax than ordinary middle class workers - corporations and the rich evading tax by using offshore tax havens, and loopholes like “carried interest” - massive wealth redistribution from Main Street to Wall Street. - millions of jobs being sent overseas, and loss of jobs to technology/robotics/computerization - political system completely corrupted by money in politics. - government that serves wealthy campaign donors, and doesn’t serve the middle class

Al Clark (7 дней назад)
UnleashTheGreen. Bernie knows our democracy has been corrupted, and has many times stated that what we have is an oligarchy of the economic and political elite. And Bernie has NEVER sold out in his entire life. In fact, for example, he is virtually one of the few politicians that have not sold out to the deep pocket corporate and billionaire campaign donors. And he never sold out in the primaries.

The corporate dems. ran the worse politician in history after they stole the primary from Sanders who would have beaten this orange monster.
Emma Beverage (6 дней назад)
Leticia Cortez, consider this. CREATING AN ONLINE VOTING SYSTEM, ONE PERSON, ONE VOTE That is why we need people who know how to do this, to create an online voting system, as secure as the social security system. That way people can access voting as easy as they can access their bank. It should be set up so that every issue is debated and all candidates debate together on a video that must be watched before people can access the vote. A separate video for each issue and perhaps one video each for every candidate with one or two debates with all of the candidates. That would go a long ways to offset the propaganda and brainwashing that is occurring now. It would help voters to make an informed decision. If we could set this up and run it alongside the current system, it would not take long to prove that we the people are not being represented by the mob that has covertly stolen our government. I believe that we could peacefully take back our government by doing this. It would be ideal if we could convince all third parties to work together to accomplish this.

Al Clark (8 дней назад)
Hunter Jones. Bernie Sanders has never proposed anything for free, you Fox fucked fool. The specific funding details for each policy have been on line for more than three years, and include powerful cost saving and revenue generating measures. if you want to know the funding details, bet off your lazy ass and read them: https://berniesanders.com/issues/how-bernie-pays-for-his-proposals/ examples. The proposed tiny stock transfer tax on Wall Street speculation would bring in far more than the $72B cost of making public colleges. Other revenue generating measures include eliminating the tax loopholes that let corporations and billionaires evade taxes with offshore tax havens; raising the top marginal tax rate to 52% on that portion of inc over $10M, and ending taxpayer subsidies to profitable corporations, like those in the oil and gas, corn, and sugar industries. If you are so concerned about “free stuff”, are you asking Trump how he is proposing to pay for his - $ 60B annual additional spending on the military - $15B to $20B to build the wall (if you think Mexico will pay for it, I've got a bridge for sale) - tax cuts for everyone, and massive tax cuts for corporations and billionaires, that adds $1.4T to the debt. - $1T infrastructure program -The just passed $1.4 trillion dollar budget spending bill Well, dipshit, are you...?

ALL despots/dictators/autocrats are a threat to democracy whether they be political, economic, religious, the family despot, etc.... Notice that the place you work at is NOT a democracy. It is a kingdom/despotism/dictatorship. It should and could be a democracy just like a state can. Check out this research on comparing the state and a firm. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6cQ4NO6jxU&feature=youtu.be These despots want to become political despots spying on us like this, this kind of control and power in the hands of the few just shows their intent. Why else would any person who believes in democracy and its principles ever touch such power? Only a corrupt despot would do such a thing. "Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely." Winston Churchill.

I think it's important to say that Facebook, and the many technologies surrounding the social media space, have been incredibly valuable tools for our society. They have benefited us massively. That being said, just like the internet in general can be used destructively, so can facebook. We should be careful not to convey a message that Facebook, and technology like it, are inherently bad. We instead need to address the concepts of ownership, and accountability. These things are the real crux to the issue. Sorting out the anti trust legislation would be a really big help, in dealing with wealth distribution. In addition to much larger taxes for 1 million a year plus earners. To be honest, I don't think anyone on earth should be allowed to make more than 10 million dollars a year. I cannot morally justify it, and therefore I don't think it's morally acceptable to allow it. We need more government oversight, working closely with academics, with funding allocated accordingly, to investigate the issues these technologies have, and to force companies to take on these criticisms and change. If they do not do so, public ownership is always an option.

The Artificial Society (9 дней назад)
Bernie is trying so hard to change to wakeup the Democrats and give them a path to success. But so far the Democrats are hardened and corrupted fools. Besides another great depression, there doesn’t seem to be anything that will change them. Maybe it is time to accept reality and form a real third party that can takeover from the aftermath of the devastation that the current two main parties are creating. Both main parties are now hopelessly corrupted and wont change.
Emma Beverage (6 дней назад)
Artificial Society, I realize that and what I am suggesting is a detour around them. A way to completely ignore them and prove that not only are they not representing the people but when given the proper tool to use, that the people can govern themselves. That with truthful information given to base their decisions on, people will be able to make decisions that benefit all and harm none. I don't believe that the two main parties will embrace this. I expect them to fight tooth and nail to try to figure out how to prevent it. However, if we could get the people to participate, even if they participate in both systems to begin with, it would become the tool to expose the fraud of the two party system. Resulting in a peaceful revolution.
The Artificial Society (6 дней назад)
Emma Beverage except the two parties and the main media are doing everything to stop openness and easy access to voting.

Bernie has a condo in DC where he stays when he is working in the Senate and his wife sold a home she inherited from her parents and bought a lake home for their kids and grandkids for $600,000. Bernie is the longest running Independent lawmaker in office and a best selling author. STFU with this horseshit about 3 vacation homes. He spends all of his time crisscrossing the US rallying voters and candidates. He doesn't have time for vacations. Any money Bernie has, he fucking earned. Furthermore, Bernie doesn't want Americans to be poor, he wants us to be paid a living wage for our work unlike greedy corporations and politicians who are fine with people starving and Bernie is fighting to get health care and college for All. Can keep track of all the moves of the people of our nation, but we're continually told how there's just no way to keep track of the banks and financial institutions that keep getting caught b

Russia did nothing compared to what the democratic party did!! How many elections has the USA been involved in worldwide? Why is it that Bernie Sanders seems to be the only "democrat" out there talking issues?
Dave La Violette bc sadly he is the *ONLY* one who does

If Facebook knows that much about me, they'd realize that I am incredibly depressed and financially strapped. I haven't bought anything new in five years and have worked hard to not be part of this country. Hell - I use a bicycle and still use a rotary dial phone.

You should find his show on... FaceBook. I wish they uploaded here more often. As much as I dislike Google, I can't stand using FB.

I never contributed to any pol in my life until Bernie. Like several other have said before, the greatest threat is the Democratic party. They are completely corrupt and anti-democracy. Bernie capitulated to the DNC, and that broke my heart. Today, I seek no government, no ruler, I make my own rules. Survival of the fittest is the only law now, the law of Nature. I plan to survive the best I can, to hell with the Democrats, to hell with Republicans. I do not need a document or a government to give me permission to speak, think, or anything else. Rights are not given, you are born with them. I do not need nor do I want any government. To hell with the overlords, you will not take any more taxes (THEFT) from me to fund your unnecessary and tyrannical wars. Death to the Federal Reserve.

"We're mad at Facebook because they begat Cambridge Analytica" - and why are we mad at Cambridge Analytica? In Truth? I think it's because we think they got Trump elected. Which means we still haven't come to terms with what happened in 2016.

I agree it is disturbing that these companies know so much about us, but in the long run the knowledge they gather has the possibility to help rather than harm us. Why do I say that? Because the issues of greatest importance in the future are connected with the fate of humanity as a whole and the quality of our planet's environment. So far, the human species has never found a way to cooperate on a global scale -- or even at the national level -- on stopping the human destruction of our worldwide support system. In order to preserve our way of life, we will have to alter our psychology toward cooperation instead of competition. Yet there is no indication that any such change in human behavior is possible using current systems. For that reason we need to explore new avenues leading toward large-scale cooperation. It is reasonable to look at technology to help us. Observation of the mood and behavior of massive numbers of people could play an important part in a more cooperative future.

Bernie, I first found you on FB. We need to grow up and learn how to evaluate information which comes through from whatever medium. US public needs to learn art of discernment. Much false news on the way.

If we want to rescue our Country and the World from the madman called Trump, our NUMBER ONE PRIORITY has to be DEFEATING REPUBLICANS. This hatred of Democrats is going to give Republicans/Trump another win. Divide and conquer is their motto, and it might succeed once again unless Progressives wake up and get their PRIORITIES straight, at least through the 2018 Election. Once we have won back the HOUSE or the SENATE, or both! and can undo some of the damage inflicted on our Country by Trump, then we can start jostling for more Progressive Values.
