Most of you aren’t going to like today’s topic, because most people consume daily, the most abused drug on the planet and that’s caffeine.

Whether it’s your morning or daily coffee and tea, the usual “energy drinks”, sodas, pre-workout products or dozens of other “energy” stimulatory products that contain caffeine.
In fact, most people can’t seem to start the day without getting their “caffeine hit”.
The problem with caffeine is that it “burns out” your Central Nervous System and causes numerous, negative changes in your hormones, which ultimately accelerates aging.
The negative changes in hormones are:
Increase in stress hormones, such as cortisol -- this means more belly fat.
Decrease in testosterone -- this means less muscle and lower libido.
Decrease in growth hormone & IGF -- more fat, accelerated aging.
Decrease in thyroid hormones (T3) -- slower metabolism and fat gain.
Decrease in adrenal hormones -- DHEA, pregnenolone, etc.
Decrease in melatonin -- sleep and anti-aging hormone.

And people who I’ve tested who habitually consume caffeine daily, for years and years (like most of us) -- trust me, they have a lot of health issues. BUT NOT ONCE, will a doctor say “get off the caffeine, it’s killing you”.

This is absolutely right ! I did stop to drink coffee before 2 months . And now I'm feeling better. But To stop drinking coffee(caffeine) it's not easy , for 3-4 days I had nasty headache , fatigue, letargy... But now I'm very happy !
- 3 years ago I quit soda, I was drinking 1- 2 cans a day, quite easily,
- 2 years ago I quit smoking after 22 years - the most addicted by far (or almost)
- 1 year ago I quit sugar from coffee, and all snack and generally processed foods, still have cravings though...
- I am now trying to quit coffee and thankfully I am in the 2nd week without it. I was drinking 3 - 5 cups a day. This was the easiest and I thing because I had first quit the sugar and smoking. I also sleep much better now...
The "natural" shit he wants you to buy contains even more synthetic drugs like adrafinil (google it), which is mainly causing the "positive" effects like nonstop alertness, but comes also with some major side effects like skin rashes, mental addiction and insomnia.

@Dr Sam Robbins hi, is it possible that coffe makes pain in my heart? I drink coffe in the morning, I go for a run in the evening and I have stitching pain in the heart. I think drinking coffe is making this pain. I stop drinking coffe. I think it is bad for my health. Thank you for the video ! :)

And then there at many many studies that show that caffeine is not only not bad for you, but is good for you.
If the studies are meta analysis, they are useless. The only studies that should be quoted are blind clinical trials in a metabolic ward! Period.

Dr Sam Robbins It really doesn't make sense for me to belive in you when people like Mic the vegan (even though he's vegan) does that in every single video, and people like doctor greger literally has entire videos made from pictures of research parts
Theres a video from Dr. Eric Berg saying that 4000 mg of potassium daily is ideal for the body. An avocado has 500 - 1000 mg, but eating 28 avocados a week seems unsustainable for me. This year, my main source of potassium is one Starbucks Doubleshot energy drink a day because there's 1020 mg in a can, plus an avocado or coconut drink here and there. Is the 4000 mg of potassium requirement true and how severe will drinking a Doubleshot energy drink negatively affect me?
I noticed coffee having a very big effect on me after I started doing a ketonic diet. Now I start the day with 2 cups of decaf (or herb tea) and take 2 cups of coffee later on the day. Ofcourse the best there is, the best beans, slow roast and air cooled. Not the factory produced burned stuff you find in the super markets. That's bad for your health, but my coffee contains all the natural carmels, hence the brown color of the beans and natural sweet taste. I can't believe it's bad for my health.
I was having blood pressure problem when i was 21 and now im 22

First I lunch with tea .then my stomach pain .after 5 months I didn't drink tea Now I eat much than before 5 years and stop vomiting. I have stomach allergy.I suggest that you stop coffees, tea and chocolate..

I just kinda find it hard to believe all of it, and I guess the only advice I can give given the information is to just drink one cup of tea in the morning and sleep longer.
Please don't scare people. Most of the things that we consume have good and effect on the body. And it's not that harmful as you have made it to. Could you share any study regarding what you said. In theory, may be your right but kindly mention what amount of caffeine leads to these effects on the body. What about the immediate beneficial affects over the body that are visible. Caffeine is also a respiratory centre stimulant and used as medication. Yes it should be taken in moderation but your video is misleading.
Can't do it Doc, I work night shifts (11pm til 7am). I need my 6 to 8oz cup of straight black coffee (Cafe El Aguila), 3 to 4 hour after I started my shift. That stuff will put some hair in your chest, the key is to allow that cup, to cool to room temperature. Then chug it down, 10 minutes later, BANG. I might have a cup of decaffeinated coffee later one though. God bless.
My dad is a doctor and he drinks coffee all times.. 😅 Sorry I don't believe this.. Our family drink coffee all the time..we are all healthy.. It's not healthy if you drink it with too much sugar or creamer..
If he only practices main stream medicine, then he knows virtually nothing about alternative health practices & supplementation. Doctors are just like anyone else. They can also develop bad health habits, because doctors treat other people, not themselves.
Some of you are saying Dr Sam Robbins is a charlatan and that his goal is to sell his products. Yet I wonder how many of you have actually tried his supplements. Here's why I trust him. I'm currently taking Alphaviril and Brain Body Energy supplements and I feel great after only one week. Also, I stopped drinking coffee 10 years ago for a few months and my wellbeing and energy level improved drastically but I went back to drinking coffee due to social pressure. So I trust what my body tells me and that validates what he teaches and sells. Try first and then feel free to comment as I just did.
No matter what you consume in this day and age with all the damaging pollution you are going to have some type of decrease in your hormones. Everyone has a unique body some can live a long healthy consuming what they want in moderation and some can't. Some people can have a strict healthy diet and still have problems due to a unique DNA. I know some individuals that drink coffee, drink alcohol, and even smoke cigars and live to be 120 years old, if you find what your body can handle and do everything in moderation and feel happy about life you will have a happy healthy life. The problem is we focus to much about what we cant have and what we suppose to have that it causes stress. You only have one life and we all have a date in which we will depart this life so enjoy life and be happy and stop worrying about what you can't or can have just use good judgment on what you put in your body and do it in moderation.
